Lies, Flight, and Wonderbolts

Midnight Rain stood side by side with her best friends, all wearing blue and yellow suits. They were all prepared for their practice. They were practicing for their Wonderbolts performance that night. The three pegasi opened their wings and started racing around the track. The amazing ponies delivered unrealistic feats, flying so fast it was hard to make out the shapes of the pegasi. Midnight Rain gave all her colleagues  hoof bumps after the big finish.

"We are so awesome!" An amber orange pegaus squealed.

"I know right!" Another Wonderbolt exclaimed. Her coat was deep purple, and her mane was intensely dark pink.

"We're gonna dazzle those ponies tonight!" Supernova, the only stallion, said with glee. Midnight Rain gave a brash smile to her friends. She had always knew she was meant to be a Wonderbolt.

Electric Sweet rolled over onto her back, surprised to see something florescent pink staring at her. She jumped, falling out of her bed.

"Hi!" A familiar high-pitched voice chirped. Sweet rubbed her head and her vision swam into view. A smiling mare stood next to her bed. She was Cheese Cake, Ponyville's party planner.

"How did you get in here?!" Electric Sweet screeched much louder than she had intended.

"Your dad let me in." Cheese said nonchalantly. "I need somepony to help me plan the surprise party for the Wonderbolts!"

"And you picked me because...?" Electric asked.

"Because, all our other friends are helping, and you slept in!" The bright pony giggled. "It's noon!"

Electric Sweet groaned. "I'll come in a second... I need to brush my mane and eat.."

"I got some food right here!" Cheese Cake chirped. She pulled a sugar-coated muffin from seemingly nowhere and handed it to Sweet. The pegasus ate it greatly. Then, in a flash, the party pony was gone.

"Just a teeeeeeny bit to the right!" Cheese Cake ordered her friend, who was helping organize party decorations. Blush Blossom was moving around various pastries on a large table. Once Cheese was satisfied, she smiled brightly at Blossom, who blushed shyly back. A pony came flying quickly into the crowd of anxious ponies.

The pink mare turned around and grinned at her. " Electric Sweet! What took you so long? It's been 13 minutes!"

"That's not very long, Cheese." The pink pegasus yawned. "Besides, do you KNOW how long it takes to fix my mane?"

"Someone's a grumpy Gus!" Cheese said. She tapped her chin in thought. Then her blue-green eyes widened. "Y'know what cheers me up when I feel down?"

"What?" Electric Sweet asked, a bit annoyed.

"CUPCAKES!"

"I can definetely tell you're realted to your mom." Electric rolled her eyes slightly.

The pink pony didn't seem to notice. She whipped around around picked up a pink-frosted chocolate cupcake from the table. She shoved the pastry into Sweet's hooves. The pegasus, not wanting to hurt Cheese's feelings, popped the treat into her mouth.

"Now, Can you help some of the other pegasi fix the clouds?"
