Those eyes, Whose are they?

Perry listened to the whistling sounds of the birds. She lifted her head so that the wind can smoothly sway it with the leaves. The touch of the ground was soft and delicate. But whenever she tended to look at those walls that separated her and that, she would grumble. Her eyes were half open and full of annoyance.

The light turquoise mare's father and mother had died long ago when they had entered through there. Every year, when the it had begun, she would go over to their graves, showing appreciation for all they did. It would be a quiet five minutes and then that blasted announcer would show all the screens of players and it would begin.

***

Mother? Are you sure you want to go? I'll miss you!" Perry cried distinctively.

Her mother's soft eyes were so kind, but she just pat her daughter's head and whispered "I know honey, but it's only a game that you will play when you are older. Mommy will be back in just a few minutes after playing with her friends," she smiled weakly. Her daughter eyed her suspiciously.

"Are you sure? She asked  doubtfully, Pouting as her mother closed her eyes and smiled. The nice evening sky had added to the last moments that Sky Note had with her daughter.

Perry stood, still in doubt. Her mother's purple mane flew with the wind as she gestured a goodbye. Her father was also waving a little bit as he stood in the near entrance of the maze. A large voice had rung into the ears of every pony.

"Contestants of the Magic Games! Please step through the portal to be placed where you must!"

His suit was in a nice, tidy form and mane was slicked back. Highlights of green were over a dark blue tail and the coat was as white as a daisy's petal. It was not the best coat color for him. There were signs that he had been walloped and brutally damaged.... Well, if you looked close enough that is.

Each pony, mare and colt followed instructions and stepped through a swirl of magic, into another dimension

Perry swung herself from the high hedge to get to the cloud bleachers. Everyone sat on top of a nice set of benches that were controlled by a rain cloud. The little mare always wondered why they were rain clouds rather than white.

On a steel platform, Perry was arisen to the front row. The Transportant. Check.

Mr. Cool dude gets a glare from some guards. Check.

We are all set to go. And five... four.. three.. two... one.

"Welcome friends, to the annual magic games!! Let's start off with the regular routine of, ahem, viewers discretion is HIGHLY advised here!" The voice tuned. It was somehow different. Oh yes, the other colt had gone missing two weeks ago. He is being replaced by a worthless scum who is going to follow the other's death. How interesting!

Well, it was never that boring either, the blue one thought. Her eyes rolled with annoyance. What a waste of time, don't you think? Yes, but why not support the only ones you care for who sacrifice their life just for one's amusement? Oh yes, Perry knew how this would come to be. She may be only 8 years old, but she knew it.

"Alright then!" Projection of screens that shown a specific Desert like location with each player, lined up in a horizontal way. "well, you ponies have come in the midst of the desert of Southern Saddle Arabia, in one of the most isolated place in Equestria!"

"The rules of this unique labyrinth is, You may Kill, You may not cheat in any way, you may not try to leave or you will be executed immediately, and lastly, live for as long as you can. That ends the rules and Blah, Blah, Blah!"

This is a pain in my neck, the mare thought.

"Let the odds be against none, and let you die with dignity! The games begin.. Now."

***

Her head hurt. She bumped into someone. Her ears blocked, she could only hear muffling.

"Really.... Didn't... To..... Sorry...."

She stood, her mouth quivered. She shook herself. There was an odd mare in front of her. She doesn't have much color. Is she even real? Perry blinked. The gray pony was worried. "I am really sorry, I wasn't looking and I-I-I just.. It's my fault." She had a dark tone to her. Oh, why am I being skeptical about this all of a sudden?

Perry smiled back at her. "It's fine, really!" she said.

Something isn't right. This mare, she has a glow to her. A dark glow.

"M-my name is Fiddle Love! What i-i-is yours?" the mare asked.

She's lying. Her eyes are hidden. There is blood on her coat. Wait, what? N-no. This is wrong. What's going on? How do I know this? Perry stood. She had to stay firm. "Im Party Note. Also known as Perry," she said "And I don't need to think twice to find out you are lying,"

A smirk lay across Fiddle Love's face. "Goodbye Perry. See you at the games," She murmured in her ear.

Perry's eyes widened. Who is she? What does she want from me? This isn't right. I can feel it. I'm imagining this, aren't I? I can see through her though. She' not from here. And something else. Something tells me she's familiar. Perry turned, finding nothing but dust.

Her walk home wasn't pleasant. She's seen her before. But where?

***

"Oh my! Look at those ponies!! Trying to survive the heat in such an isolated environment!"

That moron. He doesn't even care for the lives of others. Perry was already home. She watched the T.V with worry and dismay. There was still a crowd the stadium but she was kicked out. She sighed. Then, a sudden hot feeling burned her eyes.

"Aah!" she cried. Her tears wouldn't hold back for much long. It stopped for a few seconds. And then she saw something that caught her eye.The pain came again. I'm going to HOLD IT!!!!! She tried her best before seeing something on the T.V

It was a mare. A grey mare. "Aah!" she sceamed, louder than the first. The water started dripping down. "I... can't... take it.. ANYMORE!!!!!!!!"

See you at the games..

"That voice.."

She fainted, one last boiled tear coming down her face.

***

"It will kill you soon... Until then, Perry.."

She gasped. The blue pony was on the couch. Sweat was coming down her forehead. "It was only a nightmare. Thank Celestia!"

She  smiled and lay down on the comfy fluff of leather. Just a Nightmare... I hope...

But.....

Those eyes, whose are they?
