Chapter 5

When it starts to snow

*(Rainbow Dash's POV)*

I looked out the window as I sat on Big Mac's bed, I was looking for the girls. I saw Applejack running full speed towards the house, I worried for a minute with the look on her face. 'Oh no I hope nothing bad happened'  I thought to myself as I saw the rest of the girls running after AJ. I heard AJ making her way up the stairs, I got up and opened the door. "Aj what's going on?! Did something bad happen to Big Mac??" I asked worriedly. Apple Jack smiled at the worry for her brother and shook her head.

"No, we all wanted to come talk to you to figure out what to do about Dumbbell"  she said looking angrily out the window. I nodded as the rest of the girls made it to Big mac's room. I sighed, I really had no idea what to do about all of this. I was starting to get really nervous, I sat down trying to think about what to do.

"I really have no idea what to do about all of this,"  I said looking at the girls. Twilight furrowed her brow in thought, even Pinkie Pie was deep in thought.

"Well, I guess it all depends on whether or not he comes to Sweet Apple Acres"  Twilight said looking out the window. I looked out the window as well, the sky was dark gray. The wind was also starting to pick up, I sighed as I watched the apple trees sway back and forth.

'Please be safe Big Mac'

*(Big Mac's POV)*

I sighed to myself as I stared at Dumbbell and his group of friends, "what the hell Dumbbell? Don't you dare call my Dashie a slut"  I said angrily at him. He chuckled as he looked at Apple Jack and the rest of the girls make their way towards me. "Apple Jack, Twilight what are all of you doing here?"  I asked as I looked at Dumbbell.

"We came here to watch Rainbow Dash kick his stupid fucking ass" Fluttershy said glaring at Dumbbell. The rest of the girls looked at Fluttershy happily, she was finally done being shy. She stood up for herself and her friends.

"Well, well, well, looks like little miss innocent isn't so innocent after all"  Dumbbell smirked at Fluttershy. Fluttershy smirked back at him.

"Yeah, I'm not so innocent. I hope you're ready to pound into the ground"  She said smiling. I couldn't help but smile at Rainbow's friends.

*(Rainbow Dash's POV)*

"What the fuck do you want Dumbbell?"  I scoffed as I stood in front of Big Mac and the girls. Dumbbell smirked at me as he got in my face.

"Thunderlane told me about your little sleepover"  He said smiling. I smiled back at him.

"Oh yeah that's nice, It's not like anything happened anyways" I said as I looked at Thunderlane who looked really nervous all of a sudden.

"Thunderlane what's with the nervous look? Did you do something you shouldn't have?" I smirked at him as he started to back up. Dumbbell looked back and forth from Thunderlane and I, he looked like he was starting to figure out that Thunderlane lied to him.

"Get the fuck out of here Thunderlane you were supposed to be Rainbow Dash's friend. Why would you do this to her? What is your problem?"  Big Mac bellowed at him as he got in Thunderlane's face, Thunderlane looked terrified. Dumbbell glared at Thunderlane and he took this as his time to leave as he ran for it and flew off. Big Mac snorted as he walked over to me, he nuzzled his snout into my mane. I smiled at him, "Are you going to be okay?"  Big Mac asked a little concern in his voice. I smiled and for the first time for a long time I felt like I could take care of this problem by myself.

"Yes Big Mac, for the first time I can finally say that I can take care of this by myself. But thank you all of you for supporting me this whole time. I honestly couldn't have done this without any of you guys,"  I said, looking at all of my friends. I turned and looked at Dumbbell and his friends, Hoops and Score looked really scared. They started to back up away from Dumbbell and Cloudchaser, I smirked at Dumbbell and Cloudchaser.

"Hoops, Score what the hell are you doing?"  Dumbbell bellowed at them.

"Dude, remember that look, she had it when she was in flight school"  Hoops said as he continued to back up.

"Yeah dude, I don't really feel like being beat up again" Score said as he flared his wings along with Hoops and flew away.

"Whatever you pussies" Dumbbell yelled as he turned to look at me. I got in his face as I glared at him.

"You really want to do this again? You really haven't changed. What the hell did I see in you anyways? I don't know why I even loved you,"  I said as I looked away from Dumbbell and looked at Big Mac. Dumbbell scoffed at me.

"Whatever I heard about your lovely little breakdown, so don't try to act so tough now" he said back to me. I rolled my eyes.

"Get the fuck out of here" I bellowed at him as I pulled back my right hoof. And I punched Dumbbell with a mean right hook, he stumbled for a while before shaking it off. He glared at me as he shoved me down, I shook it off as I stood up and punched him again this time with a left hook. It took him longer to shake this one off.

"Dumbbell babe maybe we should just leave. She isn't worth it anyways"  Cloudchaser said quickly. Dumbbell nodded and he and Cloudchaser took to the sky and flew away as fast as they could.

"Finally I'm free of him," I said as I took the sweater off. Fluttershy and the rest of the girls eyed my front legs, Fluttershy hugged me tightly, tears forming in her eyes.

"You shouldn't have had to deal with this on your own" Fluttershy said quietly. I nodded slowly. Twilight and the other girls gave me a huge group hug.

"Rainbow Dash we're a group and we'll always be here for you. Don't shut us out again we missed you" Rarity said sadly.

"Twilight light it on fire" Fluttershy said "I've been waiting for this day" Fluttershy finished. Twilight lit it on fire. Fluttershy jumped up and down a few times "Yay" she yelled. I sighed as I smiled at the burning sweater and my best friends.

"I can finally see that I am rid of him. Over these last few months I am finally back to my normal self" I said happily as I hugged Flitter and the rest of the girls" I shivered as I looked up at the sky. It was starting to snow.

"We all should really head home" Twilight said. I gave them all a big hug and waved goodbye to them as they left the farm. I looked behind me and Applejack was smiling at me.

"What?" I asked, looking at her.

"I'm proud of your Rainbow dash. You and my brother should have some time alone, so I'm going to go to my room" She said smirking as she left for the house. I followed a snowflake as it landed on my nose, I smiled at it as I made my way over to Big Mac. He looked lost in his thoughts. I sat next to him as I nuzzled against his strong side, he smiled down at me.

"Big Mac, what's wrong?" I asked as I sat in front of him, Big Mac looked at me his green eyes looked really sad. I started to worry that I did something wrong again. "Did I do something?" I asked started to freak out. Big Mac looked away from me, I felt the sting of tears in my eyes. "No. No, please don't leave me" I said as the tears started to roll down my cyan fur. Big Mac looked at me, he had tears in his eyes as well. I started to rub at my eyes as the tears continued to stream down my face, I felt Big Mac pull me into a hug.

"Rainbow you didn't do anything wrong, I'm just so happy that you are back to your normal self. And I get you to myself now," he said, nuzzling against my face. I couldn't help but smiled at him, I nuzzled back as I stood there with him. My mane had snow in it and I was starting to get cold. Big Mac smiled at me as we walked into his house. Granny Smith had made some hot Daisy soup and curry dumplings, I was starving so I ended up eating two helpings. I sat with Big Mac in the living room as Granny Smith and Applejack were talking about what they had to do when spring came around.

"Man, it's still snowing, I can't fly in this"  I mainly said to myself. Big Mac smiled.

"You know you could stay with me"  Big Mac nuzzled against me, I smiled to him.

"Sure, I'll stay with you tonight" I said nuzzling back. I followed Big Mac up to his room, I laid my back against the cool wall. I smiled once I felt the heat of Big Mac next to me, I snuggled with him as I nuzzled into his chest. I took a deep breath, Apples and sweat. I smiled against his chest, he rubbed my back as I started to slowly close my eyes. I had a really good dream, it was about Big Mac and I. We ended up getting married and having twin foals, and even though we ended up keeping the farm it was one of the best dreams I've ever had. My eyes slowly fluttered open, Big Mac was still in bed with me. I smiled as I nuzzled against his chest, I looked out his window at all the snow outside. "Great my house is going to be freezing" I said to myself. I slowly got out of Big Mac's bed and made my way downstairs. Granny Smith and Applejack smiled at me.

"Do you want some breakfast sugarcube" Applejack smiled at me. I nodded as she brought me some hay and daisy cakes, after I was done eating I waved goodbye to Granny Smith. Applejack followed me outside. "So do you think you are going to be with my brother?" she asked. I nodded, smiling at her, she smiled back.

"Will you tell him I'll come see him after I do some errands?" I asked. Applejack nodded, I smiled and took to the sky. I had a lot to do today, now that I was back to my normal self I was going to take a nice long fly and relax at my cloud house. I smiled to myself as I felt the cold air in my wings and mane, I couldn't help but shiver from the cold. It was going to be a really good day, I could feel it.
