The Great War

"Okay Spike, just stand right there don't move."

"You got it Twi!"

It was currently a normal day in Ponyville. Birds are chirping, bees buzzing, and Twilight experimenting, again... on me. Hi there I'm Spike, dragon assistant to Princess Twilight Sparkle. Today Twilight decided to see what would happen if we tried a growing spell on a "willing subject" I.E. me, this should end well.

"Alright here it goes, just got to breath and-

*SAP*

I open my eyes but all I see is smoke. "Twi?!" I shout at the smoke hoping for a reply.

*COUGH, COUGH* "Spike! You okay? I can't see you, or anything for that matter."

"I feel fine but I can't tell, lets just wait for the smoke to dissipate I guess." I realize I'm sitting start to get up when I-"OW!"-bonk my head. I left to rub the spot when I-"OW!"-hit my hand. "Okay what the heck, I keep hitting something."

"Spike, wait a sec I'm going to use a wind spell to clear the smoke okay?"

"Go for it!" I say as I brace my body by closing my eyes and tensing my muscles. I wait a minute but nothing happens. I open up my eyes to see Twilight looking up at me with a surprised face. "What?" I ask, then it hits me, she's looking UP at me. I swivel my head around the library to see that everything is smaller.

Twilight continues to just stare at me. "Well, it seems that this was a successful test."

I give her my best 'Well no shit Sherlock' look as I cross my arms. As far as I can tell I'm at least triple my original size but I still look the same.

"Looks like your triple the size you were but generally the same." She says as she looks from side to side and from different places. This time I give her the 'You've got to be bucking kidding' She looks up at my face and notices the look. "Hey, don't you be giving me that look mister."

I smirk, "Okay but only if you stop pointing out the obvious."

She also smirks, "Fair enough, but in all seriousness lets change you back.

After she use a shrinking spell I'm back to normal. I am 6 foot and some given the fins, and purple with a light green, i am currently 18 or somewhere around that,(it's hard to tell being a creature with an extended lifespan) and slightly toned more lean than bulky.

"Alright now that I'm back to my prefect self, I think it's time for lu-ACK!" And with a poof and a trill a scroll pops out of my mouth, I snatch it out of the air. "Hey Twi! we got a letter from the Princess!" I say when I start undoing the seal.

"Well, open it!" She yells from the kitchen.

"Dear Princess Twilght and Spike,

"I require you both at the castle immanently for an important meeting. I have Spike's Father here who would be very much like to see his son.

*CRASH*

I look up from the letter to see Twilight has drop a plate and is mirroring the same face i have on: Total Shock and Disbelief. "Well... that's something you don't hear everyday."
