Rainbow Love

Annoyed by her friends, Rainbow Dash flew towards the training area. You could tell that something was wrong, because she wasn't nearly as fast as she could have been. But also because of her constant nagging.

"Why did they have to bring this stuff up anyway. Stupid love. What's it even good for, except bringing ponies out of focus. Maybe if Ifelt it, I could under... different thoughts", she said to herself while flieing and shaking her head.

Suddenly, completly out of nowhere, a giant bang and a dark sphere spread from Rainbows destination, which sent her turbulating in the air, untill she crashed to the ground.

After coming to her senses again she heard something very strange. Giggling. A little child giggling and repeating the words : "Do it again. Do it again." And another pony saying: "No. That's enough for today."

Curious about what could have possibly caused such an explosion, th blue-coated pegasus trotted over to the racetrack. What she found was a lavender coated filly-unicorn and a silver, grown-up pegasus.

As she didn't know what to say, RD just yelled: "Hey, what was that for?"

The stallion yelled back, with a giggle in his voice: "Sohohohorry. Didn't know you where there. Anything alright?"

"Yeah, just chipped my wing."

As she approached further and further towards the two of them she started to recognize at least the little filly. A horn, lavender coat and a yellow mane. It was Dinkie Hooves. Rainbow sometimes saw her when she picked up Scootaloo to train her. But all she knew was that she is Derpys daughter. The stallion, silver, pair of wings, neon-green, spikey hair and tail, which look like they were razor sharp and a very dark purple circle with a silver lightning as cutiemark.

"Who are you anyways?" A smile appeard on his face as if he loved this question more than anything. And Rainbow instantly found out why.

"My name, young lady," he said with an over-the-top voice, "my name is not yet determined. Some call me the wind that blows through the trees. Some call me the explosion that created everything. But my friends call me "Quick Draw"."

The pony with the rainbow-mane couldn't believe it. One minute she gets annoyed by her friends and the next minute she gets annoyed by a complete stranger and Dinkie, who couldn't stop laughing through his entire speech.

Not wanting to be rude, Rainbow Dash continued the conversation. "So, the explosion that created everything, I guess that means you're the one who sent my face to a high-five with the ground. I'm Rainbow Dash."

"He knows. I told him while you trotted here."

"Uhm, thanks, I guess. Where are you from. Can't say that I ever saw you in this reagion."

"I came from Fillydelphia to look after my niece while my sister has her HaHD-rendez-vous."

Rainbow could not believe what she heard there. Derpy Hooves, the grey, cross-eyed, clumsy pegasus who managed to ruin town hall, had a DATE on Hearts-and-Hooves Day. Wait a minute, this guy is Derpys brother?

While, she still thought about that, she couldn't help but to feel a smile creeping on her face when she saw Quicksilver play with Dinkie so joyfull. Like a child. It kinda reminded her of Pinkie Pie. But there was still one qustion unanswered.

HOW DID HE CREATE THAT GIANT EXPLOSION OF DARKNESS?
