Twilight Sparkle, along with her closest friends, have been imprisoned in tartarus, along with Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Princess Cadence for eight months now. The cell that they call home is one of the largest Tartarus has to offer. It measures forty-five feet long by forty feet wide, and twelve feet tall. They each have a cot (though they are uncomfortable) with a pillow and blanket, two sinks and toilets, and a small shower area. Everyday gets harder to get by, as everypony is slowly losing hope. Fluttershy has been devastated for months after hearing about Discord's execution and it's grim details. The only thing that is keeping Cadence going is the hope of seeing her husband again. Twilight and Pinkie Pie have been trying to keep everyponies spirits up, but is getting harder everyday. Sleep is the only thing that is keeping everypony from losing it. However, the dreams they’ve been getting lately have been cryptic, but become clearer every time they go to sleep, little by little.

Twilight finds herself in a field, with the sunset and the moon rising as the sun descends, right next to a small building with a fenced area. Looking around, she notices that this is much like the dreams she has been getting for the past eight months now. "Looks like I'm dreaming," Twilight mumbled to herself.

"This is not a dream." A bright orb said, nearly blinding Twilight. "What you see is another world, much like Equestria, but it is devoid of magic."

"Why am I seeing this?" Twilight asked. "And who are you?"

"I can not tell you yet," the bright orb said, "it is too early. Right now, this planet and it's inhabitants are Equu's only hope."

"How do you know?" Twilight asked.

"It has been foretold, but it may change as time flows ever onward."

"Why did you bring me here alone?"

"You are not the only one I brought,” The bright orb replied.

Then looking behind her she saw her friends, Luna, Cadence, and Celestia.

"Where the hay are we?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"You are on the planet called Earth." The bright object said.

"Why are we on this planet?" Rarity asked.

"To bear witness to this." the bright orb said, causing everypony to look at the hill.

In the distance, flashes of light immediately followed by sounds of thunder. Coming up from the hill are creatures that none of them seen before, except for Twilight. But these humans were not like the humans she had seen when she went through the mirror portal in the Crystal Empire.

"These are not the same humans you have seen Twilight when you faced Sunset Shimmer." The bright orb said. "These humans are not in anyway related to Equu in anyway, but they are your only hope for Equu and it's inhabitants, though it may be different from what has been foretold."

"How is that?" Rarity asked.

A large screech of several aircraft (F-22s and A-10s) flying low and launching its missiles. Not long after the aircraft passed, a column of vehicles (HMMWVs armed with TOWs and M2 Browning machine guns, along with M1A2 Abrams, M2 Bradley's, and flatbed trucks filled with U.S soldiers.)

"The centaurs have came to this world to conquer it." The bright orb said, as the group now stands on top of the hill.

The group looked absolute horror, centaurs mowed down unarmed civilians, smiling at the scene as their rifles were tearing them apart.

Rarity nearly passed out, Applejacks face started to turn green, Rainbow dash comforted Fluttershy, Pinkie was turning green like Applejack. Twilight and the Princesses were overwhelmed by what they are witnessing, but were interrupted by the large explosions the came from a few of the human vehicles. Soldiers began to pour out of the vehicles beginning to firing their weapons at the centaurs. The humans went right through the group since they were not actually there, but still witnessing it.

“The Javelin’s the key! Load the Gustav! It’s gonna be a tough kill.” A soldier ordered to his platoon. Human soldiers began running back to their vehicles and grabbing the much needed equipment.

“Let's go, let’s go, let’s go! Bring out the Javelin!” another soldier yelled.

“Clear! Get from behind! Clear!’ a soldier with a Javelin operator said.
“Let me know when you’re tracking,” said the spotter to the operator.

“Tracking!”

“You got a lock?”

“I got a lock!”

“Fire the Javelin!” A missile fires out of the rocket and arches up before crashing down on a centaur tank, destroying it.

"Fire the Gustav!" A human yelled. Another human fired a missile out the launcher, aimed at the centaur infantry, causing an explosion that killed five centaurs.

"Our orders are to delay their advance, do whatever it takes!" Another human soldier said.

Soon the entire hill was covered with human soldiers, fighting the centaurs that threatens their entire way of life.

Another shot came from the rocket launcher that the human fired, hitting a centaur tank. but did little damage to it as the rocket hit the side of the turret.

"Target hit! No effect, centaur tank is still functioning." The soldier with the Gustav said.

"Colonel, gunship support is underway."

Twenty Apache helicopter gunships hovered over the soldiers firing their hellfire missiles at the onslaught of centaurs charging at them. Rainbow dash was in awestruck by the awesome power of the human gunships. However, everypony wasn't as in awestruck as Rainbow, as the machines only brought death and destruction, but were still amazed that a race that born without wings was able to achieve flight.

Still, with what the humans brought to fight off the centaurs returned in kind. But what the see next shocks the group. The humans decided to charge.

“Guide on, guide on. Black six, attack, attack, attack!”A colonel ordered. The human vehicles and infantry charged the centaur line with full fury.

The group was pulled away from the battle and appeared on a island in the Pacific Ocean.

"I know you have questions about what I have told and showed you," The bright object said, "ask away."

After a long minute, Celestia spoke first, as she knew what she was going to ask.

"How are these humans the only hope for our world?" Celestia asked.

"Humans have been from the first day have fought to survive in this world," The bright object said, "unlike Equu, the weather is not controlled, magic is non existent, which should have been impossible for anything to survive. But they have survived and they thrived, though they fight each other, from gaining more power, differences in ideology, to resources."

"And how are they going to help us if they can't even get along?" Applejack asked.

"Though it seems they fight against each other," the bright object said," they are capable of great compassion."

"Still," the bright object continued, "Since they have been conceived, humans have done outstanding achievements."

"Like what?" Luna asked.

"Fifty one years ago, July 20, 1969 on the humans calendar, the humans sent three men to the moon and back. And now they plan to send humans over to Mars as well." The bright object said. Everypony was amazed by what humans have accomplished, especially Luna.

"I will send you back to your realm." The bright object said to everypony. "I ask that you do not speak of this, for it may doom every living creature on earth and equu."

"We won't," Twilight said, "but you never told us your name."

"All will be revealed in due time," the bright object said, "but for now call me Mr. X."

"All right, Mr. X." Twilight said. Then a bright flash of light engulfed the group, nearly blinding them.

Everypony soon woke up in their cell, all at the same time. They quickly congregated to the center, about to discuss what they saw.

"You believe him Twilight?" Applejack ask.

"I'm not sure, but it seems Mr. X was telling the truth." Twilight said.

"How can you tell?" Rarity asked.

"I don't know," Twilight said, " I just do."
