Chapters Chapter 1: It all begins...
Awakening was a bitch, my bodily alarm wasn't working right at all since that night, but when I finally opened my eyes I knew something was wrong. I woke up in a forest that I've never seen, when I looked around the forest I finally noticed something on my head and near my rear end. Upon my head were ears, similer to a wolfs, as was a tail on my backside. I decided to ignore it and figure out how to get out of the woods, so I got up and looked around, actually moving instead of being in one spot. I groaned and muttered to myself.
"Looks like I'm not home anymore, worse come worse I could be in a new world, which would be awesome. However, there are probably dangers I must be cautious of." The wolf/human said to himself, "But first things first... I need a weapon of sorts, like a club or something." I moved from the area I woke at and headed deeper into the woods. The sights I saw were interesting, but nothing extremely noteworthy of me mentioning.
I had no clue of the time either, as the tree line was to thick to see through, but the tiny bits of light told me it was day. So I knewif this obeyed earth logic, I would be safe until nightfall, which could be soon for all I knew. I kicked into a sprint to get moving faster, but wasn't watching where I was going, so as soon as I noticed a cliff, I already was falling off of it.
"AHH OH GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!" I yelled as I felt the sharp impact snap my left arm. I staggered to my feet, ignoring the pain and I continued to try and find a way out.
"Gods, his forest is unforgiving... I can't beleive I wasn't paying attention... I'm usually focused." I muttered while I navigated through the woods which seemed to keep getting bigger the longer I stayed within its threshold. I had actually lost track of time when I finally found a path. "Well it's about fucking time..." I swore and started down it, hoping to find some kind of civilization. But the walk was short as as soon as I took twenty steps, my new ears heard something in the distance. "What the fuck is that sou-" I couldn't even finish my sentence as a creature leaped at me from the bushes.
"HOLY SHIT!" I yelled as I ducked down just in time to see it fly over me and crash into a tree. But I wasn't staying around to see what happened as I booked it up the path, but I knew it was on my tail as I heard it thumping along after me, "OH SHIT RUN LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER!" I screamed as I picked up speed, desprit to get out of the woods, until I tripped on a root and fell face first into the dirt, "SHIT!"
The creature neared its downed prey slowly now that it had fallen, knowing that this thing before it was defenceless now, the creature started to pace around its prey, building its fear up until he finally decided that enough is enough, that this thing was going to be its next meal, then and there. The creature went in to kill twits victim until it heard a famillier yell.
"MR. MANTICORE!" The voice yelled out, "HOW DARE YOU ATTACK A HARMED CREATURE!" The voice had gotten closer now and went down in tone, "If you were hungry you could have came to see me, now off with you!" The thing yelled again as the manticore wimpered and ran off.
My poor ears were still ringing from that yelling, I could hardly hear the thing that saved me talking to five others, my vision kept flickering in and out, "Ugh... What a way to begin a new life... Fan-Fucking-tastic..." I groaned out, startling the creatures near me, I laughed slightly, getting a spike of pain in response, "Ahh fuck..." I slurred as my vision finally turned black, the last thing I could hardly hear was one of the creatures saying something about a hospital.
Chapter 2: I'm surrounded by ponies...
I learnt my internal alarm clock is really a bitch at times, for the past hour all I fucking heard was BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. I've been getting annoyed with it and I had almost gone over to the machine just to shut it up when the door opened nearby. All I did was grunt and keep my gaze to the ceiling, I didn't need to know who came in.
"I can see your awake now." The female voice said to me, "I was beginning to worry that your i jury's might have killed you, or left you injured permantly, but it seems they are healing up fine!" She said, walking over to me.
After she finished talking, I stared hearing clop. Clop. clop. coming towards me. I rose my head and immediately guesses I was on drugs, for what I saw was not a human in any way, but she was a fucking pony. The thing was white with this wierd hair style, and had a Red Cross on her ass. "Ummm, what drugs did you use on me..." I asked right away.
The mare looked confused, "What are you talking about?" She asked me giving me a 'really?' Look. "Your not on drugs so what your seeing is real, but my question is how did you get those injures?" She asked me, gesturing to my broken arm and my cut up body.
"Does falling off a cliff work, cause it's the truth." I said with a bored expression, I hadn't wanted to come to a hospital in the first place. "Now awnser me something, where the fuck am I?" I blurted out, not bothering to watch my mouth with what I said, "I want my awnsers pony!"
The mare just sighed and spoke up, "You are currently in Ponyville hospital." He white mare said, "And if I may add, you act as if you never seen a talking pony before, surly they must have talked where you came from."
I gave off a rough humph and spoke, "Nope, ponys where I came from don't speak, only my species speak... Not kile I'm considered it anymore with the ears and tail." I said, "Now, Who the fuck are you and who brought me here." I spoke in a non questioning manor, wanting an awnser either way.
"Well, my name is Nurse Redheart," the white mare said, then continued on, "The ponies who brought you here were Twilight Sparkle and her friends." Redheart awnsered me, "What about you? What's your name?" She asked.
"Names Seth, Seth Sheffield." I finally awnsered after a minute of silence. I decided I had enough of this place and could tell my arm was fully healed up and ready to be out of its bonds. "Where's my coat at? There's something I need in it." I told Redheart, who went over and gave me my coat, which had a lot of rips in it. I took out the knife from the sleeve and unshethed it, using it to cut the cast off my arm.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Redheart yelled at me, causing me to wince and lower my ears from the shrill volume of her yell, spher face was one of panic.
"Releasing my healed arm from its bonds," I grunted, "And please don't yell, my hearing is extremely sensitive right now." I finished, putting the knife away and into my pants pocket. "When can I leave this place? I don't wanna be here any longer then I need to be." I muttered.
"As soon as Twilight comes and gets you, until then just be patient and don't do anything else reckless. I think she's on her way now." Redheart said, leaving the room and closing the door.
The first thing that goes into my mind is to ignore her, which I do. I get up off the bed and go to the table where my ripped shirt is, I sigh and put it on again, afterwards I put on my coat and paced the room for at least five minutes when I heared Redheart approaching. I grinned and hid behind a fake plant.
"Okay Seth Twilights here and you can lea-" Redheart stopped dead when she saw me and my stuff missing. She started going into a panic, not even looking behind the plant to see me grinning.
'Okay... NOW!' I thought as I jumped out from behind the plant and yelled as loud as I could, "THE GRIM REAPER COMETHS FOR YE SOUL!" After seeing her scream I just fell to the floor, laughing my ass off at her reaction, "AHAHAHA!!! That was awesome!" I yelled out. After the laugh I got up and followed the pissed off Redheart to the lobby, where a lavender unicorn who I proposed as Twilight waited for us.
"Redheart!? Are you ok? What was all that noice? Did something happen?" Twilight went off into a spree of questions which made the both of us groan.
"I'm fine Twilight, just Seth giving me a scare is all." Redheart said to the distraught unicorn, who in turn looked at me warily.
"What? I'm not a fucking museum exhibit." I said after a minute, which startled Twilight and made her jump back into a wall, which in hence made me start laughing again. "Seriously, you ponies make my day." I said, wiping a tear from my eye.
After a long chat and a lot of papers that I had no clue why I needed to sign them, we were out on the road, walking down the path. "So, what do you do for a living?" I ask Twilight.
"I'm a librarian." Twilight awnsered, "I'm also Princess Celestia's personal student, who is currently learning the magic of friendship!" Twilight explained to me "What about you Seth? What do you do for a living?" Twilight asked me.
"Nothing really, I'm still pretty young, and I havent found a job either." I said, shrugging, "Not like I need one anyways, a lot of the jobs here I probably couldn't do." I motioned around the area as we stopped in front of a treehouse, literally, it's a house inside a tree.
"Well, we're here!" Twilight said happily, "Make yourself at home Seth!" She excitedly said.
"Jeez, what's got you so exited?" I asked, moving towards the door, "Don't awnser that, I was being retorical." I said as I opened the door and stepped into the dark house. "Jeez where's the fucking lights in this place?" I ask myself. I was unprepared for the light that shot on as soon as I said that.
Chapter 3: I hate show offs... So much.
"What's going on here?" I asked myself. What I saw was a stage set up in the middle of town, the curtains were purple and flaked with stars, which reminded me of Foxy's Pirate Cove, I grinned at the thought of a metal fox running around town. My eye noticed firework launchers that were hidden behind said curtains, probably to make it seem like magic, I instantly knew what was going on now.
"BEHOLD, THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE!!!" A mare yelled as smoke appeared onto the stage for around 2 seconds, when it faded a blue unicorn with a lighter blue mane and tail was standing there, but the best part was her apperal, she wore a cloak and a hat like the curtains.
'Don't laugh don't laugh don't laugh...' I repeated in my mind over and over again, I could feel sweat dripping from my face, just trying to hold back all the laughter in me, but the next thing I saw was the firework launchers being lit off, and then before you knew it, I was on the ground laughing my ass off.
Trixie was taken aback by my outburst of laughter, "What's so funny? Is it that you cannot hope to compete against the great and powerful TRIXIE!?" She yelled again, lighting off more fireworks, trying to act scary.
"K-keep going... I need the laugh... Your fucking hilarious.." I said between breaths, I was still recovering from the laughter when I noticed those mares that saved me back in that blasted forest. 'Hm.. Might go back there and map it out...' I thought as they started getting into an arguement with Trixie. I was brought back when I saw the white unicorn running off with a green mane, complaining about how ugly it looked.
"Does anyone else want to go against the great and powerful Trixie!?" Trixie yelled out, scanning the crowd before her, seeing if anyone dared challenge her, until she felt her hat being taken off, "Who dares touch the grat and power Trixie's hat!" She yelled as she spun around.
"I dare, and I just did." I said, grinning and showing the fangs I got from becoming part wolf, "I could use a challenge, since I'm lacking excitement right now." I walked on the stage for a moment before spinning around to face Trixie, "I challenge you to do as you said you could. Vanquish an Ursa Major." I stated and grinned as I saw her face fall, "Or are you to scared?"
"What!? The great and powerful Trixie is not scared of an Ursa Major! It is highly unlikely one will even come here!" Trixie yelled out, earning some murmering throughout the crowd.
All I did was grin, "Oh you'll see... Eventually that you cannot handle the challenge I set for you." I yawned out, jumping off the stage and stalking past everyone. "Good luck asshole, you'll need it!" I yelled back to her then continued my way back to the library to make myself a sandwich.
The Ursa Minors roar shattered the quiet and peaceful night as it stomped towards Ponyville, I sat upon the balcony, grooming my tail and watching the scene play out. "Perhaps I'll go with Twilight and see this for myself." I spoke, hopping off the balcony and next to Twilight, who jumped at my landing.
"What are you doing Seth?" Twilight asked me with some concern, thinking that I would be stupid enough to take on the Ursa Minor on my own.
"I'm coming with you, I want to see this myself." I said to Twilight who lead the way towards where the dumbass show off was cowering, I grinned at the fear on her face and used the shadows to get behind her quietly.
"H-H-HELP!!" Trixie screamed out as the Ursa Minor lumbered towards her, Twilight took position in front of her and readyed her magic.
Twilight felt the spell she was casting draining her magic immensely, but it was for a good cost at saving the town, she had gotten the Ursa Minor to fall asleep using music from the reeds and a large water tower of milk, afterwards she levitated the Ursa Minor to its cave again, setting it down then ending the spell.
"RAH!" I yelled out, leaping from the shadows behind Trixie, who in hence screamed from the shock of me appearing from nowhere, I just chuckled and said, "You couldn't beatthe challenge Trixie. Not like you ever would have." I said, looking over to Twilight who had her friends with her, "Tell her why Twi."
"Well, that was not an Ursa Major... That was an Ursa Minor." Twilight stated, earning a lot of confused looks and what's from the gathered ponies, "And it wasn't on a rampage, it was upset somepony woke it up from its sleep." She finished, glaring at the two unicorn colts who tried to sneak off.
I just shrugged and walked off back to the library. By the time Twilight had gotten back I had already made her some food and tea and was already up in my bedroom, grooming my tail. I heard a knock on the door. "Who's there?" I called out.
"It's Twilight, can I come in?" Twilight asked from the other side of the door.
"Yea, come on in." I responded as Twilight opened the door and sat next to me in my bed. "What did you need Twilight? What fogs that intelligent brain of yours?" I ask Twilight.
"Um.. Why did you act as you did to Trixie back there?" Twilight asked me with a hint of sadness in her voice.
"She was a show off and a loud mouth, two things I despice, so I took action." I awnsered, not looking up from my tail. I did look up when I felt Twilight hug me.
"You've been through a lot getting settled here Seth, please don't get yourself hurt ok? I still need to introduce you to the others properly." Twilight told me kindly.
"Ok ok ok... I pinkie promise not to get myself killed." I stated to Twilight, who smiled and let go of me, jumping off my bed and headed to the door.
"Well, goodnight Seth!" Twilight said happily as she lightly closed my door, carful not to make to much noise and wake Spike up.
I sighed and layed down onto my bed, before I fell asleep I summerised what happened today quickly through my head, 'Today was something else that's for sure...' I thought to myself, letting out a yawn, 'Perhaps I should get some sleep to..' I thought, letting myself fall into the dream realm.
