Shaun 2

"Ugh, sure, but why?" Shaun asked aloud putting down the larger of the books currently being read for historical study.

"Come on Shaun, are you going to read those weird stories the whole time, or are you coming to bed before I have to go home?" Came a wining voice from behind where he sat, a voice which he turned to respond to. This voice belonged to a young girl of 19 years, Fairly attractive, yet relatively reserved in terms of her womanly fat deposits' proportions, who lay face down on the room's single queen sized bed across from the hardly barren desk holding a pillow to the side of her face by crossing both arms on it's opposite side.

"Ya I'd like to babe. This guy's story is so weird," Shaun replied.

"What about it?" She tilted her head to the side slowly kicking her feet in a familiar consistent rhythm, a habit which told she was curious, but didn't really care all that much for an answer.

"Well things keep happening with out proper explanation or foreshadowing for one. If I didn't know already what was going on in the background, there would be no reason for me to believe half of this. I know it's the way it is because it's a memoir, and likely only the things that seemed important or interesting to the writer were put in, but I honestly wouldn't be able to tell why his fiancee fell for him in the first place with only this, 'cuz he thought it would bore future readers even though he him self said it was unlikely anyone would."

"Well would it have been boring?" She dismissed blowing a lock of black hair from her face.

"Well yes," he admitted. "If the writer is to be believed, nothing interesting happened. She seemed to feel differently in her account though."

"Well there you go, BORING. Now, come on I'm board," the girl complained rolling onto her side letting her long hair fall under her as she did.

"Sure, but..." catching her stare he sighed, resigning to bookmark the page.

"Does it even matter though," the girl hummed rolling strands of her hair around a finger. "No offence, but that was, like, forever ago."

Shaun sighed, "Well, but how could someone who all other records praise as extraordinarily intelligent, and capable come across as so incompetent, and self defeating in his own?"

"Wait," she dropped her hands from where she had been inspecting the pink paint on her nails. "It this the same guy that wrote the weird magic book you complained about?"

"Well yes actually," he put away the study materials on the dark stained wooden desk stopping when he came to the prior mentioned book which still lye open to glance over the page, before closing it though carefully, in disgust. "You're right, no sense in stressing about it, yet at least. Thanks sis."

About an hour latter from the previous conversation, the girl ran her fingers through the young historian's hair as he had fallen asleep only moments ago, wrapped in her leathery wings. "Good night," she quietly sang before pulling the covers over both herself, and her incestuous lover before joining him in sleep.

Author's Note

So funny story these two were originally supposed to be switched having her be the one studying history, but I was having trouble picturing her as some one who doesn't study while nude for whatever reason.
