Sir Alonne was meditating in his the large stone room which looked out upon the red horizon through large church style windows, the land of Drangleic was an odd place which was what drew him there in the first place. He was from the east which is an odd foreign place that was considered exotic. He was however more distracted.. waiting for what was going to happen soon to him. 'This will not be pleasant.' He thought, he had the small hope that the king would be killed on his way to try and slay Alonne by the few soldiers who had followed Alonne when he left. The Iron King was a great man, and only sought to kill him now because he had gone insane with power.

Sir Alonne knew this because he was the one that taught him everything he knew since he started off as a small and almost unknown lord. He helped the unknown lord become a great military leader by serving him and teaching him like a student, including his troops which he had started out with less than two hundred. A few of which were here defending Alonne but they would be no match for the King.

He then heard the sound of metal on metal down the hallway and sighed. The metal sound was soon followed by the sound of a very heavy object hitting someone which silenced the fighting. Then the king appeared and Sir Alonne stood silently and looked at the king, holding his katana in front of him.

"How dare you leave!" The Iron King bellowed as he entered, rage filled eyes staring at Alonne with the intensity of a mad man which he was by this point "I will not be shown up like this, your a traitor. You and your warriors who left with you!" he shouted while pointing back behind him at the now deceased armored bodys in the hall.

Alonne made no comment at first, he knew that the man standing in front of him. In royal red armor and with an intimidatingly large war hammer was not the king he had first known.

"You have changed." was all he said.

"You made me into this, a man to rule them all" he claimed brashly, before charging forward and swinging.

"No, I made you to a king to lead. Not destroy." Alonne said calmly jumping back to avoid the swing of the mighty weapon.

"If I don't rule like this then it is a sign of weakness" The King countered, soon bringing down the hammer which just missed Alonne, soon pushing it forward into Sir Alonne's feet, tripping him. Alonne soon wobbled and fell back as result before rolling out of the way of the hammer which was brought down with enough force to break the marbled floor and leave a large dent in it.

"You have gone mad with power, you will see as you crumble." Alone then got up and used katana in a upwards strike, cutting the kings arm to the bone and then drawing away.

This only made the kings inner rage larger as he grabbed Allone by the leather cover over his chest plate and head butted the helmet of the eastern warrior, causing him to become dazed by the facial impact. The king had felt the pain of connecting his bare forehead with metal but soon ignored it as he built up and swung his hammer around into Alonne's side, breaking his arm and sending him flying into the wall with his weapon on the floor.

He looked at the king as he came forward, he was now leaning against the wall collapsed with his head bowed. He was in much pain and had lost. He just wanted it to end quickly now.

The king stepped forward with a triumphant smirk before bringing the hammer up over his head and bringing it down on Allone's head.

"Good bye friend." Was all Alonne said as he felt the blow connect and then immediate darkness consume him...

Allone was in an odd place of darkness, what he assumed a blind man would feel like. Except that blind man was falling in nothingness which was be a good way to describe himself in the current situation he was in. He was sure he was killed but the details of how escaped his mind but those thoughts soon left his mind as a sudden light that was brighter than any sun shown infront of him and blinded him forcing Alonne to cover his eyes with his hands to avoid the before mentioned blindness. Not that he thought anyone would ever intentionally want to be blind.

Then the light stopped as suddenly as he started and he opened his eyes and felt the pain through his body again suddenly "Ahh!" the right half of his body felt broke in multiple places and his right arm bent the wrong way at the elbow. He was no doctor but he knew that it should not be that way as well as sight of blood on his armor made him very sure he needed help.

He tried to stand and failed the first two times as his body felt very weak and useless.. but then he saw his sword, its long blade was broke in half and with a fine jagged crack which made the eastern warrior suddenly very depressed. He had been given that sword as part of his high rank in the east and had kept it since he was entering manhood so it was very old like he was. Not that Alonne would like to admit that he was himself.

After another few long moments of looking at it he slowly grabbed the hilt of the blade and used it to help him stand up and lean against the tree, he then leaned down and picked up the blade, placing it on the side of his belt, next to the dagger he kept with him as a general purpose knife.

While Alonne was stood up he was really able to take in the environment around him for the first time. Alonne had been killed by... the specifics still eluded him but he had been killed so was this heaven, or possibly hell? It looked like a deep forest to him, with very overgrown trees with the occasional bush and vegetation. The only thing odd about it was how everything seemed very quiet, like everything was hiding from Allonne or even possibly something else.

However regardless of how long Alonne thought for, the pain of his body did grab his attention back again. Making him grunt like a beast, so he then took the broken sword and used it as a walking stick. Glad at least that his prized weapon still was being used for something useful instead of dead weight 'unlike my arm and legs' he thought somewhat bitterly.

Alonne yawned as he walked, it was a natural thing and one Alonne could not stop. It happened for alot of reasons but the two primary canidates being because his body was weak from the task of having to walk while broken and exaustion and because the night sky was currently starry and had the moon in it. A beautiful sight Alonne would admit if he was not busy with trying to find someone to fix him.
