Alonne In The Darkness

By the time Alonne finally gave his body a break he was collapsing so he leaned against a tree. Since he was not moving now Alonne thought it was a be a nice idea to look around, he had been walking all night without rest and now the sun was starting to peak its head over the horizon, symbolizing a new day which was a welcome sight to look at. However as he looked back down something caught his attention in the middle distance between the trees.

It was a fence, one made to house a grazing animal of some type and it had crossed wire mesh across it to keep small animals getting out. So with that sight he headed towards it. His body shouting at him to stop but his vision was starting to blur black and Alonne did not want to fall from exhaustion completely out in the open where vulnerable and defenseless.

To be honest with himself, Alonne was surprised when he saw the fenced area was small and connected to an even smaller looking house. It looked like it belonged to a dwarf judging by how small the door alone was. He could now see as well what was actually in the fenced area and it was a chicken coup. Alonne's family had started out as farmers much like most in the east so he did know his way around farm animals not that any of the chickens were out right now this early in the morning. Alonne then leaned down onto one leg, leaning on the sword for support then knocking at the door before sitting slowly back onto his rear and crossing his legs into the position he often sat like when not using a chair.

Alonne could hear the tell tale signs of someone walking down a creaky stairs and to the door. Alonne realized that he must have woken the person up which he would apologize for later on.

His face however turned to one of confusion as he saw the occupant of the house, a cute yellow pony with wings and a long pink mane and tail. Alonne also noticed the tattoo on her rear of butterflies.

Fluttershy to was looking back at the.. small giant was the closest she could come to who was staring at her, she soon hid behind her bangs and rubbed her eyes to make sure she was seeing right. She was and she was a little concerned, the giant sat there in an odd position and made no movements at all like as if he knew he might scare her if he moved.

"Hello?" Alonne said in a parched sounding voice, different from his usual formal and eastern accent.

That made Fluttershy jump but she was not like she was before she met her friends so she tried to take the strange being in stride and it spoke her language which was impressive

"H-Hello." she said back a bit timidly

"Oh.. you do speak, odd but its not to new." Alonne said curiously, trying to keep the pain out of his voice as he realized then just how much a terrible idea this particular sitting position was.

Fluttershy sensed the pain he was in and as she looked at Alonne's arm and the dried blood on his side she gasped, instantly becoming quite awake as she moved closer and moved his injured arm our of the way, much to the pain of the warrior

"Oh, your hurt. It looks bad quickly go in and lay down." Fluttershy said with the authority of a commander and a mother. coincidentally two things Alonne listened to without hesitation and he soon moved in, bending his head some as he stood and entered and almost as soon as he entered he collapsed on the floor as his body gave out and went into sleep.

Alonne awoke some time later feeling lighter, he was in a bed that he could tell and there was a cold and hot feeling on his body. When he awoke to see what it was, Alonne could see that he had a new scar which lead from the underside of his arm to his rib-cage on his right side, which seemed to be stitched back and cleaned with cold water. Alonne then saw that he had a cast for his arm and that it had been put back into place nicely in the way it should be and was in sling which was around his neck. The warm thing was the fire that was lit in front of the bed Alonne was laying on, it was classic chimney fire and had logs burning on it.

The rest of the room was nothing to much of not, there was a table beside the bed and two windows for looking outside and the walls were painted a light cream color and there was wood flooring to, Alonne came to the conclusion it was a guest bedroom. He soon slowly sat up and stretched his working body parts, making his body click in multiple places

"Seems like the owner of this house is not bad at tending greavious wounds." Alonne commented to himself with a content sigh. Soon though he could hear a step as the cute pony Alonne saw earlier entered and stopped. Alonne looked at her and he looked back before he turned away not wanting to make her run off if she was shy.

As he did however he noticed something and blushed brightly. It had been the first time he had done that in a really long time.

"Are you OK sir?" she asked concerned at his sudden odd behavior wondering why he was covering his crotch with his what she assumed were odd looking paws.

"I am naked infront of you.." he then realized that she was not wearing any either so she may not have found it odd herself "Its a thing about my species, my armor is not here but could you get my waist cloth from where you may have put it please madam?"

Fluttershy was a little confused at the strange creatures request. She had to remove his armor so she could give him a full look over to see what was wrong with him. She ended up having to compare to a silver-back ape since it was the closest thing to it that she could make out creature wise but Fluttershy nodded and put a glass of water from her hoof onto the beside table before going to get it for him. Soon returning with it

"H-here you go, I hope I did not offend you by taking off your clothes." Fluttershy looked down and pawed at the ground a little.

Alonne took the piece of clothing in his hand and put it on to cover his front

"It is fine.. may I ask who it was that patched me up?" Alonne asked the cute Pegasus.

"It was umm.. me." Fluttershy replied, hiding behind her bangs and blushing a little.

With a grunt and a slow movement Alonne got up and knelt down infront of Fluttershy gently placing a hand behind her head and rubbing behind her ear.

"Well I have you to thank miss, for both taking me in and helping me. Can I ask your name?"

"Its Fluttershy and I cannot turn away someone who was hurt like you were."

"I am Sir Alonne is my title but call me by the last bit if you wish."

Fluttershy would be lying if she said she did not like the gentle petting from the Alonne and soon enough she nuzzled into his hand in return, she enjoyed doing stuff like this to any of the animals but enjoyed it more when others did it to her, its why she normally went to the spar with Rarity.

"O-ok Alonne, not to s-sound demanding but I think you need to lay back down and recover a bit more, i-if you want to that is.."

"I was going to ask if you would allow me that and yes more rest does sound nice, I will have to find a way to repay you Miss Fluttershy for being such a nice host."

He then layed back down and pulled the sheets gently over him till only his slightly aged face showed, he kept his graying black hair short  and his beard in a roughly kept way which was very short but covered his face in graying hairs.

"Oh that's not necessary Alonne but I need to leave to go out with some friends, will you be fine without me?" she did not want to leave somepony who was ill alone if they could not help themselves

"You have done quite enough miss. I will be fine and probably sleeping here when you get back."

Fluttershy looked into Alonne's eyes before nodding and closing the door slowly and walking downstairs to join her other friends like she normally did, she hoped this time that their adventure would be more calm than Tirek coming in and making a mess of Ponyville. Meanwhile Alonne just turned over and pulled the sheets up soon falling back into a comfortable sleep, this bed being alot more comfortable then sleeping in his armor.
