Chapters The waiting. The waiting and the silence is perhaps the worst thing to hear and do when your wife has just gone into labour and you rushing her to the Ponyvile Hospital while carrying her cello (she 'insisted' that I take it with her) all the way here is a big thing to happen to a man like me.
Oh yeah, you don't ever know my name. That the one you will do when your wife has gone into labour, you don't think about ANYTHING else but to get her to the Hospital.
My name is George Rowland. I once lived in London, Great Britain as a composer for Orchestra music for the movies and films. My favourite instrument is the Grand Piano and I really like the Orchestral group call Two Steps From Hell. Have you heard of them? No? Then stop what you are doing and listen to them and LOVE THEM!... Sorry about. Big fan of them. Anyway seven years ago I was at the local music shop for one of their album when suddenly a bright light engulf me and then next thing I notice was that I wasn't in London anymore. I was in the middle of a small town named Ponyvile and it was in rush hour for every.pony.was.looking.at.me. So you can guess it, everyone. Ponies and me screamed like a little girl. I was running like cycle only to looked back to see if anything was following me. This however made me bashed into a building and got knocked out cold. The last thing I saw was a blurry vision of a grey pony with a black mane and a very cute pink bowtie.
I woke up in a bed (that was not my size) in a Hospital. The first thing I thought was that I must been really, really drunk. But nope, because a white pony with a nurse hat came in and told me that I got visitors. I was about to protested but my visitors came in without my saying. The order was:
Twilight: She had the widest smile on her face (Not creepy at all 'cough' 'cough') and had a notebook and quill in the air thanks to her magic.
Applejack: She came in behind with a face that said 'where the heck did you come from' unlike Twilight who had the face of 'You will join the dark side and LIKE IT!'
Rainbow Dash: She was flying above her friends with a poker face on her.
Rarity: She was wearing a blue and yellow dress that was a bit too mush for my taste.
Pinkie Pie: She was bounding up and down with the friendly smile unlike her other friends.
And finally Fluttershy: She was hiding behind Pinkie Pie like see was afraid of me.
Quick story short. They asked MY questions first and then I answered theirs. These are my favourite highlight questions from them. The same order:
Twilight: "If you can put one word of your species. What would that be?"
I didn't say Wars, Crusades, Empires or One Direction. I just answered with 'cultural'
Applejack: "Do you enjoy apple?"
Yes...yes I do.
Rainbow Dash: "Are you a spy?"
I put my little finger up to the end of my mouth and said "Maybe?"
Rarity: "What is that lovely outfit you are wearing?"
It was a blue fabric suit with an awesome white bowtie.
Pinkie Pie: "Do you like party?"
I looked at her and simply said "Yes"
Fluttershy: "Do you eat ponies?"
I replied with "Don't worry... I'm not French"
After the questions, I was out the Hospital and stayed at Twilight's Castle for a time before got enough money to buy my own home. It was not bad, I mean it was a small house. It contained one living room, one kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom with a bed that was my size.
But you don't want to hear about my boring life. You want to know how I met my wife. So lets skip to that part.
Have you ever heard the verse 'love is fate' No? Well turns out the blur pony I saw before passing out was the one that brought me to the Hospital and told Twilight and her friends. So I went to find her and thank her for bring me to the Hospital. When I found her, I found out the she was a cellist and that's my favourite instrument after Grand Piano. She was having a argument with a pony with a white coat and the colour of her mane was dark and light blue. I didn't hear much but I think they were arguing about volume and best music. You know what I think is the best music, so would know who I would side with if I got into the argument. Soon enough they both went on they separate ways and I went to the mare I was going to say my thanks.
I catch up to her and tapped her shoulder.
"Vinyl" She groaned in the most classy British accent I ever heard and that's saying a lot. "I am in no mood to..." She turned to face me and stopped talking. She was surprised and funny enough... In a good way.
"Oh" She said surprised "It's you. You're the one that bashed in me and my friend's house"
I rubbed my hand on the back of my neck from the memory of hitting the building.
"Yeah, I remembered the pain as well" I laughed at myself with made her giggled. "I came to say thank you for getting me to the Hospital and telling Twilight about me."
"Oh not a problem" she answered happily "My name is Octavia" She handed her hoof to greet me and I repay with a shake of hands...I mean hand and hoof.
"Name's George Rowland and its a pleasure to meet you Octavia" I replied with a friendly smile of my face.
She smiled back at me and we decided to walked together to get to know each other. Turns out that we got a lot in common. She loved Orchestra music and as I said before, she a cellist. She plays at the royal theatre in Canterlot and she one time played at the Gala. She has a great sense of humour and she is also very clever. We been hanging out ever since. I asked if she would like to be my girlfriend with I had to reversed it to special somepony. She was bounding up and down shouting yes over and over again. I became best friend with her roommate, Vinyl Scratch. How did I you ask? By not passing out when we were having a drinking contact. I also be came friend with a noble called Fancy Pants when I was on a date with Octavia when I got tickets to see a Orchestra group called Nobleheart and she is a big fan. I meet Fancy Pants in a wine sample area and we just had a friendly conversation. Tip, don't acted all sir to him like 'indeed sir' or 'pardon sir' because he gets enough of that with the Guards. Me and Octavia has been dating for over two years and we fallen in love very 'deeply' shall I say. I soon thought that this is the right time to asked that very important question of all in life.
I went to the local jewellery shop and asked for a very special ring. It was a golden ring with three flawless amethyst (I let you find out what game that's from. Here's a hint SC6S and has dragons in) I brought in and waited until we went to our special date.
We were at the local park, setting on a bench watching the beautiful night sky full with star and awing moon. Octavia was resting on my chest as I was stroking her mane ever so gently. This was it.
"Octavia?" I said to her. She looked at me "we have been dating for two years now and we both love each other so much that I have to ask you this question" I got up off the bunch and went down on one knee. I got out the ring in my top pocket and held it to her.
"Octavia... Will you marry me?" I smiled at her with all of my heart. She covered her mouth with he hooves and was welling up with tears of joy.
"Yes!" She yelled with delighted.
"Yes?" I answered in disbelieved.
"YES!" She yelled again as she hugged me and deeply kissed on the mouth. She cried with happiest and I think I was but can't remembered if I was crying or too stunned to believed. We stayed hugging for a well good three minutes.
"I love you" I whispered in her ear.
"And I love you too" She whispered into mine.
In a week time we were wedded. Everyone was invited. The mane 6, Vinyl Scratch was Octavia's best maid, Fancy pants was my best man..eh..pony, his wife fleur de lis, the apple family and even Twilight's brother Shining armour and his wife Cadence come from the Empire to come to our wedding.
We got a house that had one living room, one kitchen, one bathroom, two bedrooms, one garden, one loft and one basement. I sold my house and Octavia gave the whole house to Vinyl. We been living together for the whole seven years and we decided to go to the next step of our marriage. We're going to start a family and I am not going to tell you how because you know how and this isn't one of those thing that you love to read.
And soon enough, Octavia got pregnant.
So we back to the beginning, I was waiting in the waiting room (HA!) with Vinyl as the doctors took Octavia through the two white doors. I was clicking my fingers like a Jazz singer.
"Don't worry man" Vinyl said as she tried to calm me down "Octavia is a tough mare"
"Ehuh" I bluntly answered as I didn't hear what Vinyl said to me. "I...I know everything is going to be alright"
I hear a door opening on my left. Me and Vinyl looked to see Twilight and her friends coming toward us
"George" Twilight said as she walked toward me "We came when we heard the news. How long have they been in there?"
I looked up at the clock and saw it was 7:15PM.
"About five minutes" I answered still clicking my fingers.
"How you feeling?" Applejack asked
"Have any of you been in something like this?" I answered with a question. The others looked to each other and all of them said no "I give you a tip... It's freighting."
Suddenly the two white doors opened and a doctor came out. I and the others jumped at the doctor.
"How is she doc?" I asked the doctor shaking in my boots "How is my wife doing?"
He smiled at me and opened the door.
"Why don't you find out?" He said happily. I looked at him for a few seconds and then to the others. They took a step back telling me to go on ahead and so I entered the door to see the most moving thing I have ever seen.
There was Octavia sitting on the bed with a little ball of laughter in her hooves. I walked up to them ever so silently as I didn't want to disturbed the scene. Octavia looked at me with the biggest smile I ever seen on her face sense getting married to me. I walked to a chair next to the bed and sat on it. I looked down to see my child laughing.
"She" Octavia whispered to me. "it's a she"
She looked almost like her mother. An Earth pony with a gray cost and black mane. But what she got were my light blue eyes, my laughter and above all. My smile. I held my hand toward her and she grabbed it while giggling as she did. I chuckled with her as I was welling up with tears. I have never been so happy to seen someone like this before. I looked at Octavia and kiss her my the lips.
"What should we call her?" I whispered to my wife.
"I think we should give the name you thought for" Octavia answered.
I smiled and called the other to come in. One by one they enter and moved around the bed.
"Everyone" I said, using my free hand to wiped the tears away "Meet Sarah Harmonic"
"First day at school!" Sarah shouted with happiness as she ran into our bedroom and began to jumped on the bed where me and Octavia WAS sleeping peaceful together "First day at school! Come on lets go!"
"Your daughter up Gerogie" Octavia said sleepily. I looked at the clock. 6:30AM.
"Before 7:30 she your daughter" I said bluntly as I rubbed my hands on my face.
"Come daddy" Sarah jumped onto my chest causing be to loss my breath. "Please" Sarah gave me the most adorable face and puppy eyes ever.
"OK I'm up I'm up" I answered in defeat. She jumped off my chest as I yawned. I got up to see my calendar and I only laughed at what I saw.
"Sarah dear" I said in my best daddy voice.
"Yes daddy?" Sarah looked at my with a huge smile.
"It's Sunday" I answered as I picked her up and show her the calendar.
"Oh" Sarah said as her face was all but surprised "I guess I got overhead of myself"
I nodded in agreement as I token her back to her room and place her back into her bed. I kissed her forehead and went back to her door, ready to shut it when I heard her say.
"I love you, daddy" She sleepily said. My heart went all warm just the way she said that.
"I love you too" I answered as I shut the door and went into my bed next to my wife as we cuddled together. Everything was just perfected.
"Sarah" I said to my little daughter who was playing with her toys we got from Pinkie Pie. "It's bedtime" The time was 8:30 and the moon was just peeking up from the distance.
"Ah" Come the sound of my daughter in disappointed "Five more minutes" She tried to do the puppy eyes on me again, but it was her bedtime and it was Monday which means she needs to get up in the morning for school.
I chuckled "If you want, I can tell you a story that my dad told me when I was your age" Sarah's face turn from sad to overjoy because she always love a good story and so she jumped into my arms, I just managed to catch her on time and carried her to her bathroom. (carefully not to fall on her other toys)
I put her into the bed, pull the cover to her chin, sat down on the end of the bed and told her one of the story that my dad told me. The famous Just-So Stories.

after the story was finish. Sarah was in a deep sleep, dreaming about Rhino and the Parsee. I smiled, kissed her on the forehead and walked to the door to shut. Once I shut, I turned to see Octavia with a happy face on her.
"That was beautiful Georgie" She said as she hugged me. "You must tell me another" I lifted an eyebrow "Just one"
"Their not call 'just one' honey" I answered with a smirk on my face " They are 'Just-so Stories'"
And after that. Me and my wife went into our room so I can tell her.... another story.
Where does WHAT come from?
It was Tuesday afternoon in our garden. I was resting on my garden chair, drinking tea, Octavia was playing her cello ever so lovely as she is and Sarah was running around in the garden laughing. Everything was a perfect, just perfect.
Like all children, Sarah came towards me with curiosity on her face.
"Daddy?" Sarah ask with her adorable voice.
"Yes Sarah dear?" I answer while taking a sip of tea.
"Why does foals come from?" She ask innocently. My wife made some very awful notes from that question while I sipped out my mouthful of tea like one of those cartoon and cough. I knew that one day she'll ask that question but not this soon. Me and Octy look at each other as to say WHAT to say.
"I...well, you see harmony um" Octavia try hard to use the right words to tell her. But thanks to the power of tea, I helped her with the right answer at this right time...

"Oh okay" Sarah smile and run back to the garden laughing.
Both me and Octy let out a sigh of relief.
I stood there in front of the mirror that was near the door, trying to make my blue bowtie look perfected as possible and let me tell you, it's not that easy.
Inside of the living room was Sarah playing with the same toys last night. I looked at her with happiness as she was pretending to be a heroic knight saving the day from monsters (which was a big teddy bear called 'Willow T' and I don't know why she called it that, she just did)
I looked back to the mirror and finished with the tie while looking at the two tickets to The Grand Gala sent by her majesty, Princess Celestia. Now we Brits really like our Royals and when I was invited by one. Well... Let me put it this way: AWESOME!!
"Honey?" I shouted up the stairs "Are you nearly ready?"
"Almost" Octavia answered. Soon I heard the sound of the door bell ringing and so I went to open the door. To see the babysitter for the night.
"Hey it's George the man" came the voice of Vinyl as I let her in with a smile on my face. "I thought that you and Octavia would be gone by now"
"You can't rush act" I answered as I looked back to the stairs "And Octy has a very good taste in it"
"I can guess" Vinyl said as she turned to face the living room and saw Sarah playing "Hi Sarah"
"Auntie Vinyl!" Sarah shouted in delight to see her favour auntie as she ran to her and give her a huge hug. I smiled at the site of the two hugging each other.
"Oh Georgie" I heard my beloved wife calling me. I turned my head to the stairs and was blown away at to what I was looking at.
There at the top of the stairs was Octavia, wearing a pink dress with ripens across the top row of the dress and she was wearing light blue shoes that shined so bright. My face was all in awe at this as she came down the Stairs ever so graceful.
"How do I look dear" Octavia asked lovely.
"You look like a angel that came from the very heavens honey" I replied as I went up to her and gave her a kiss on the lips. As you can guess Sarah put her tongue out and Vinyl giggled to that. We both looked at them and laughed as well to our daughter's action.
"Well we'll be off" I said happily as I walked towards the door to open for my wife to go through. "Now you listen to Vinyl and don't stay up late just because we're gone to the Gala understand?"
"Yes daddy" Sarah answered happily as she waved her hoof goodbye to us. And soon me and Octavia went off to the Gala.

The travel from Ponyville to Cantorlot was nice and peaceful.
We were at the entrance to Cantorlot castle and it was magnificent. Me and Octy couldn't wait to see not only the princesses but to see if any of our friends from Ponyville was here and let me tell you that there was some eyes watching me from the other guests.
Finally we were at the top of the royal stairs and there was Princess Celestia herself.
"Ah welcome Octavia and George Rowland" Princess Celestia said friendly to me and Octavia. "And welcome to The Grand Gala"
"We are grateful for the invitation Madam" I replied as I bowed my head at her.
"Madam?" Said the princess "I haven't been called that before, is that how you greet your royal then?"
"Yes, we don't really say 'your highness' that often to our current Queen"
"Well that is okay by me" Celestia said with a nod and smile "Please enjoy this year's Grand Gala"
Me and Octavia again bow our heads and walked into where the party is being hold. There was a lot of nobles and ladies walking and talking to one and another, Classical music playing in the background and a nice place that hold food and drinks. So this is what Buckingham Palace must looked like when it throws a party like this.
"So what do you want to do?" I looked down at Octavia.
"I don't know" Octavia whispered to me "let see if any of our friends are here"
To that I nodded in agreement. But before we even moved, a blur of pink came right in front of me. It then turned into Pinkie Pie (we all saw this coming)
"Hey there" Pinkie Pie squeak in delight to see us "It's the happy couple George and Octavia, we have a table on the other side of the hall, come come"
There no arguing with Pinkie and so we followed her to this table she mention. On this table was the rest of Pinkie's friends, there were all talking to each other until our arrival.
"Hello everyone" I said smiling to them as we were at the table and took a seat.
"Ah darling" Rarity answer with joy and somewhat angry as she was looking around for something or rather someone. "It is good to have you here with us"
I lifted up a eyebrow to this as I turned to the rest of the gang "What is she looking for if I ask?"
Rainbow groaned "She is looking for prince Blueblood. He's not very liked among the royal and he was rude to Rarity the last time we were here"
"So a King Charles the first type eh?"
"Who?"
"Just a king that some really, REALLY didn't like"
We had a nice chat we the Mare 6 and had a lovely time as well. Soon Octavia went off to find a drink for herself leaving me with the girls. But soon I saw Twilight's face went from enjoying herself to a shock face.
"Oh no" she said all worry "It him"
I turned to see that my wife was standing next to some jerk that looked like he was trying to hit on her.
I grind my teeth together with anger "I take it that is he"
"Yep" Applejack angrily replied back "That's Blueballs himself"
I looked back at Rarity and saw that her face was all red in our anger "Oh why the ne-"
"Hang on Rarity" I interrupted her while having a evil smirk on my face "I got a plan" I went to her and whispered my plan to her and she nodded in agreement to my plan. Then I started to walked up to my wife and the jerk. I then can hear what he was saying to my beloved.
"You know nopony would notice us being missing for a couple of hours" he tried to flirt with my wife and I'll not allow that to happen.
"I'm married and even if I wasn't I wouldn't be with you" Octavia said venoms to him in disgust.
"What makes your husband better then me?" Blueblood said angrily at her. That is it.
I was now behind him and I tapped him on the shoulder, he then turned around and saw me.
"Well I have thing call fingers which can to many great thing that you cannot don't" I answered with a sinister grin on my face.
Blueballs jumped in shock "What in Tartarus is that!?"
"Nobody expected the Spanish inquisition"
"And does that mean?"
"This" I then step aside to let a charging Rarity heading Straight towards Blueblood. He then gasped and ran away while Rarity continued her charge.
"Just you wait until I get my hooves on you!" Rarity yelled at him as the disappear to another hall. I then went to my beloved wife.
"Are you alright?" I asked her In concern for her health. "Did he hurt you?"
"No" Octy replied "He just said bad pick up lines and that it" I then hugged her and we went back to table with some of then laughing at what just happened.

We then return home after having a great time (part from the Inquisition bit) at the Gala. Soon we arrived at our home and I open the door to the house.
When we entered the building we saw Vinyl sleeping with a book over her eyes and Sarah sleeping on her with her teddy bear.
"Well" I whispered to Octavia's ear "This is definitely something new"
"Georgie can you see what going on outside?"
"Sure honey"
'open door and saw timber wolves fighting Twilight and her friends'
'closed the door
"Well?"
"Just the normal day for Ponyville and it look like we'll have to stay indoor for a time"

It was a normal, peaceful friday morning. The birds were singing, Sarah was playing with her toys and I was reading the local papers.

Discord has- Double Skipped. (The reason is once I read one of his titles on the paper and I got a pie in my face... It was lovely but still totally uncalled for)
Soon I heard a knock on the door.
"I'll get it" I said as I got out of my rocking chair (Which is good as a cloud... What it Ponyville, the clouds are soft) and opened the door. It was Twilight.
"Hello Twilight" I happily said to her "What brings you here?"
"Hello George" Twilight answered with a smile "I came over to ask a favour"
"Of course what is it?"
'Well you see my brother-"
"Shining Armour"
"And my sister-in-law-"
'Princess Cadence of the Crystal Empire"
"Is coming over and-"
"And you want me to hang out with your brother as you and Cadence go out on a girls night for some catching up" I finished all of her sentences. She looked at me all surprised.
"How didn't you know all of that?" She asked in awe.
'You're like a book, easy to read and beside you were shouting yes a lot yesterday" She blushed by this.
"You heard me shouting that huh?"
"We could hear you down the street from here"
"Anywhere! Can you do that?"
"Sure what time?"
"Oh about...NOW!" She then ran as fast as she could only laving a trail of dusts. I sighed, put my coat on, walked out of the door and shut it behind me.
"Some of these days" I mattered to myself "Some of these days."

We were at the train station and soon the train from the crystal empire arrived. Then Cadence and Shining Armour stepped out of the train.
"Cadence!" Twilight shouted in delight to see her sister-in-law as the two of them did...a ...dance?
"What was that?" I said out loud while they were laughing.
"It's their little dance they did when they were young" Shining Armour filled me with the knowledge on the dance.
"So this is their thing they do every time they meet each other?"
"Yep"
"Sisters from another mother" I stopped talking to realise what I just said.
"What's that?" Shining Armour asked
"Something I don't know" I answered.
After Twilight and Cadence's dance and my mind trying to gather what the hell came out of my mouth. The two mares came towards us.
"So I see you two are getting along OK?" Cadence said happily
"Great as a piece of cake" Shining Armour replied with a smile on his face. He sound like he hasn't drinking a lot and I'll fix that easily. "So George, what do you have in mind?"
"We're going to have a lads night"
"What's that?" He tilled his head. He has to stop saying that.
"I'll explain once we get to the local pub" I answered as we walked to where the nearest pub.
"Don't get in trouble you two!" Twilight yelled to us in the friendly way. Before her brother could say something I spoke first.
"It's a lads night... Can't keep any promises"
After saying my famous last words to them. Me and Shining Armour went off on our legendary quest of the lads night.

At local pub:
"So, what do you do in a 'lads night', is it like a manes night?"
"I'll pretend that I didn't hear the last part and just heard the first part. A lads night is were a group of men like you and me hang out and drink."
"Like guards in the barracks?"
"Do they drink?"
"A bit while playing cards"
'That's a poker night not a lads night-Oh my God you have much to learn"
The barpony came with our drinks (PS I've gave the barpony a little recipe from Britain to make great drinks, HA. I just realise what I just said to myself)
"What is this cider?"
"No Shining. This is a drink. This is ale"
"Never heard of them"
"That's because ale is from my world. I worked in one of ale company when I was getting used to living on my own after unite"
'Unite?"
"Just drink"
*Shining takes one sip*
"It tastes old"
"That's because you toke a sip and not a glug"

"So what is your people's greatest achievement?"
"Having the largest empire in the world"
"Wow, is it like the Crystal Empire?"
"You mean one huge city up in the north?"
"Well, yeah"
"Nothing like that. Shining we used to own a quarter of our world and builded four major countries in the making"
'Wow, no lands has done anything like that before"
"That's because you don't have the English mind, the Scottish arm, the Irish quick thinking or the Walsh resources"
"What does those words means?"
"It means another round!"

Last round so we headed home:

After me and Shining left the pub. I helped him get back to Twilight's castle. I'm a good friend so I got a paper and wrote 'he has no eyes' with a circle and a X together and knocked on the door... and run away back to my home laughing my head off for a while.
The only bad thing about getting into my home was that the keyhole wouldn't stay still. It just kept on move. What sort of dark magic was that?
But I managed to open the door, got inside and... Slept on my rocking chair. As good as a cloud.
As good as a-zzzzzzzz
I woke up on my rocking chair with a massive headache. The pain was unbelievable.
I opened my eyes slowly and saw Octy with a cup of tea in her hoof and had an angry face on her. Let me guess... last night.
"Had fun last night?" She asked. Last night. "Because Twilight found Shining Armour on her castle step with a note that said and quote 'he has no eyes', she was in a panic attack trying to find out what the note means. What do you have to say, George?"
I sat up straight and gave her my serious face while answering truthfully.
"Totally wroth it"
Unknown Note on Royal
Prince Shining Armour was found on the streps of the princess of friendship's home castle, passed out from a 'Lads night out' with local human: George Rowland.
On the back of the passed out prince was a strange note that quotes: 'he has no eyes' with a circle and an X underneath the quote.
Princess Twilight has began investigating the strange note and has refused to give any information about it.
"HAHA! Well, Slenderman will be the new ghost story in pony myths... It's good to be reminded of old home once again"
"Where's mum, dad?" Sarah asked as we were enjoying our milkshakes.
"Mummy is gone to play at Doodle and Matilda's wedding, Sarah dear" I answered her.
"But why are you not there then, dad?"
"Because then, who would look after you and get you some milkshakes?"
Sarah rubbed her chin from what I said to her.
"Point taken" She replied with a smile.
Before I could answer or laugh from my daughter's answer. A creature flew right passed us that I could only described as a... Bug-bear and was fighting with the mane six.
"Nope" I answered suddenly as I picked up Sarah and began to walk home... Quickly.
"Where are we going?" Sarah asked.

"Octy is tough lady and she's in the wedding inside the town hall"
"But you're tougher and bigger then that prince?"
"I hate to say this... But the reason why I'm not facing that bear is because I got a bit of French in me"
"Georgie?" My wife said as we were walking to Sarah's school.
"Yes?" I asked with a smile.
"Was I a pain when I was pregnant?"
"Well..."
Flashback
I entered the front door after returning from work. I turned around and saw Octy standing in front of me, heavily pregnant with her front hooves cross and had a angry look on her.
"It took you ten minutes to get home?" She asked with rage behind hear voice. "It mostly takes you five minutes to get back......WHO IS SHE?!?!?!"
End of flashback
"50/50" I simply answered with the best poker face I could mastered.
Another normal day in Ponyville
Me, Octy and Sarah was sitting in the living room, relaxing from shopping in the local market
*Suddenly loud sounds were heard outside*
"Did you lock the windows, Georgie?" Octavia asked simply, without even moving her head towards me.
I sighed as I got off my rocking chair and headed towards the window I hadn't locked up. The window had some curtains that blocked the rest of Ponyville and the outside world.
I pulled the curtains to revile a hydra's head starring right at me with raging eyes.
"Evening squire" I said as I locked the window, pulled the curtains back again and returned to my family.
The real first day at school
Today is Monday and me, Octavia and Sarah (who is on my shoulders) are heading towards Ponyville school. Applejack recommended it because AppleBloom and her friends goes there and I want Sarah to make lots of friends so I choice this school.
"Are you looking forward to this, my little bundle of joy?" I said to her as we enter the playground.
"yeah daddy...but I'm a bit nervous" Sarah replied as she rest her on mine.
"Don't you worry Harmony" Octavia joyfully answer as I was putting Sarah off my shoulders and on the ground. That is Sarah Harmonic pet name as mine was Sarah dear, Octavia is Octy or Honey and mine was Georgie. "You are going to make lots of friends, I promise"
"There she is" I heard that and saw the famous cutie mark crusaders. They are running toward us and Sarah yelp in surprise as she hide behind my legs. I chuckle at this.
"Don't be scared Sarah dear" I chuckled "These are the fillies I was telling you on the way here" She slowly put her head out from behind my legs and move towards the crusaders.
"H...Hi" Sarah nervously said as she wave to them. The crusaders introduced themselves and soon enough they are the bestest of friends.
Soon the bell rings and every filly were heading to the school. Sarah said her last goodbye to us before entering the school.
"She grew up so fast" Octavia sigh as she rest her head on my side as I have my hand stroking her mane.
"Yeah" I answer "It like she was on one chapter and grown up in the other"
As Sarah disappear threw the doors of the school. Me and my wife went back home with a smile.
It was morning and I was sitting at the table, eating some nice waffles that was covered in honey. Octavia came in to the kitchen.
"Georgie?" My wife said while looking around.
"Yes, Octy?" I answered.
"Have you seen my cello anywhere? I can't seem to find it anywhere in the house"
Before I could answer. We'd heard some notes being played badly, though it sounded like Octy's cello. Before we could do something, the nearest toaster bleeped to tell us that Octy's toasts were ready.
"I'll do it for ya" I smiled as I got up from my chair and went to the toaster. Octavia went to see where the cello's sound was coming from. As I was done buttering her toast, I heard a gasp of shock. I carried the toast on a plate and went to see what she gasped about.
Outside in the garden was Sarah, covered in pine sap with Octy's cello stuck on one of the pine tree's branches thanks to the sap. Octy's face was just shock and surprise with her mouth almost touching the ground.
"Do you like it?" Sarah said with a smile. "I call it the 'Cello Tree'. Now mommy will have lots of cellos once the original cello hits the ground"
Octavia had no words to say. "Wha-I...Huh? How-What? I don't know what to say?" I walked up to her side.
"Toasts?"
Me and Octavia was sitting outside in the local park, watching the swans swimming in the lake with some ponies feeding them bread. We stayed there because it was almost time to pick up Sarah from school.
It was nice and peaceful....Until a familiar pink pony rushed right in front of us with a wide smile.
"AppleBloomSweetieBelleandScootaloohasgottheircuitemarks!" Miss Pie shouted in the speed of sound. Me and Octavia looked at each other to see if we knew what she just said.
"Sorry what?" We both said at the same time.
"No time to explain, just come down to Sugar Cube Corner, everypony is there!" Pinkie Pie then just bolted toward the location she told us to go to. Knowing Pinkie we just got up and walked to Sugar Cube Corner.
"I never understand her" I said to my wife.
"Nopony does, Georgie"
"She breaks all the laws of physics and people are fine with that?"
'Well I don't believe it"
Everyone was there at Sugar Cube Corner, including Sarah. But the good part was her friends got their cutie marks. I may not be their family, but I'm proud of them. Plus I don't need to worry about them coming over and try to get me to do something, they thought they could get their cutie marks from me because I'm an alien to this world and I could give them some knowledge from my world. I gave them a bit, but it didn't get them their cutie marks. But now they do, well done you three.
"Isn't it great they finally got their cutie marks?" A little filly said next to me. I didn't looked at the filly cause I was watching Sarah having fun with her friends. However I did hear her.
"It is" I simply answered with a smile.
"I bet that Sarah will get an amazing cutie mark herself"
"I bet so too, miss..."
"Diamond Tiara" The filly introduced herself before she walked off to the rest of the school foals.
"What a nice lit-wait what!?" I shook my head in confusion. Did she just said something nice? To me? What the actually hell!?
Octavia came up to me and smiled. "It is a good thing those little fillies finally found their special talents"
Still in disbelief, I smiled and folded my arms cross my chest.
"It's a good day for all"
