I - Freedom! Lots o' Freedom!
I - Freedom! 'Murica!-1st Person-Jack-
I'm frozen. Literally frozen. In stone. Unable to move. Unable to breathe. Unable to scratch that goddamn itch on your nose for a thousand years. A thousand. Fucking. Years. I examined the area, looking for a way to not focus on the itch, since that would always work. Definitely. I'm kidding. It usually didn't do squat.
I scanned my surroundings that were within my very limited line of sight. Stone doesn't work very well as eyes. There was Discord, the mismatched creature who would always annoy me with a bombardment of jokes that weren't even funny. I'm pretty sure he's run out of jokes and just re-using the ones from when we first met. I think that he thinks that I forgot. Well I didn't. Everything thing else was the so-called famous 'Canterlot Sculpture Garden'. It was boring. Like, the only entertainment here was Discord. Not saying that he's good entertainment but still. At least he kept me from being bored.
I wondered how long will it be 'till that episode where Discord was freed? I had tried to get on Discord's good side, so that he would see as a good friend and get me out of this horrible prison. Or maybe I could make him pity me? That probably wouldn't work, he had no empathy nor concern for anything that wasn't him. Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
Oh shit, Discord was singing some bullshit song I've never heard of. You might be thinking, Hey, that's not so bad, but listen to this. When Discord sings, he's repeats the song over and over, for like a week. Maybe three. And I was forced to listen to it, even if I wanted to rip my ears out. My life is great, isn't it?
Man, I wish that Season 2 would start already.
-3rd Person-
Nothing, other than Pinkie Pie, could ever be as happy as Jack was when he saw a grape-colored teacher walking down the dirt road of the garden with her class. She was pointing at the statues and explaining what they symbolized. Yes! I'm finally going to leave this hell of a prison! Jack almost squealed. If he did, Discord would've never let him live it down.
The class and their teacher reached Jack, as he wondered what lil' Celly had named him. He had not seen her since her since his banishment. I bet she named me something lame. Jack thought, as his gaze followed Cheerilee.
"This statue represents Frenzy, does anypony know what Frenzy means?", Cheerilee questioned.
All the fillies and colts looked at each other in confusion, except one. She was too busy waving her hoof in the air.
"Yes Sweetie Belle?", Cheerilee asked the small filly.
"It means that something is out of control!", Sweetie Belle answered, jumping up as to add emphasis to her answer.
Cheerilee commended Sweetie Belle upon her answering correctly, "That is correct, Sweetie Belle. In fact Frenzy was rumored to be able to take out several of the Royal Guard at once, and was able to hold his own against the princesses. He could turn ponies into his own weapons, and wield them with great strength and skill."
Most of the students were starry-eyed at the description of Jack. "He's that strong?!", one of the students would shout, and many more comments were added.
Jack mentally smirked as he the kids below him were practically gawking at his mentioned strength.
"Why does he look like he's crying?", a voice from the back of the class asked.
"That's his mask. Behind it, though, is something scarier than your worst nightmare.", Cheerilee answered.
All the little ponies shuddered, something scarier than their worst nightmare? Several questions were asked, most of them about what Jack's face looked like.
"Why does it look so ugly?"
"Does it have any weapons?"
"Are there tentacles behind the mask?"
I've seen enough to know where that last question would going. Jack then mentally slapped himself, Dude, they're like, 10-year olds! And ponies! Those two, and tentacles, do *not** mix!*
After successfully grossing himself out, Jack then shifted his attention back to the class. They were at Discord's statue. He could see the three certain fillies that were going to set him free start bickering in front of the statue. He also saw the area that he could only guess as where Discord's heart was, was pulsing weakly. It was apparent from where he was, but the ponies probably couldn't notice it.
Cheerilee stomped her hoof to get the attention of her students. "Now class, this is the conclusion of our tour of the gardens. We'll go to a cafe for a quick break before taking the train back to Ponyville."
Jack watched as the foals and their teacher left their gardens, they were all content with the trip. The gardens then became silent once more, but that silence lasted for about a few minutes. Jack shifted his gaze onto Discord's statue. He could see and hear the cracks forming, plus Discord's laughter. He could see Discord's laughter. How the hell did that work?
"Ah, it's good to be back!", Discord said as he stretched and cracked his limbs at angles that would probably kill a normal human or pony.
Although, Discord was a draconequus, which meant he was not regular. Far from it actually.
"You look so helpless, Jack!", Discord announced rudely to his frozen form, while Jack mentally glared at him, "But don't you worry, I won't leave you like this", he snapped his fingers, making a giant anvil that could easily crush Jack's statue appear a few meters above him.
"Oh shit... I heard something. What did you do?!", Jack asked, panicky. He was defenseless at the moment.
"Now, now, Jack. There's no need for such language.", Discord lightly scolded Jack for his choice of words, "It's just an anvil that's actually ten times heavier than the heaviest thing Equestria. A fine piece of work made by yours truly."
He grinned evilly, snapping his fingers again. He released the anvil from his magical grasp. The anvil neared Jack, as he braced myself for the impact. He lifted his arms to try and probably fail at not being squished.
Wait, I lifted my arms. I can move! I opened my eyes to see that the anvil was gone.
Jack glanced at Discord. The draconequus was laughing his tail off.
"You should've seen the look on your face!", several of his body parts fell off, gained mouths, and too started laughing.
"Very funny Discord", Jack said in an unamused tone.
Discord started playing with the terrain, starting with the ground. It turned into a checkerboard of supposedly random colors. This would probably strain Jack's eyes if he had any.
"Well, I'm off to spread some chaos! Tata, Jack!", with that, he disappeared. But not before sending me tumbling to the ground with some unknown spell.
It's not like I had no protection against magic or anything.
I'm gonna give him a big ass-whooping later, this was Jack's sole thought as he got up.
He didn't know the garden very wall. The only thing that he was familiar with was some foliage and Discord's once statue.
Guess I'll be moving blind...

The sun had set.
Jack breathed in some fresh air. He hadn't had the satisfaction of breathing deeply for a millennium. Well, technically he breathed in dust at first, bringing him into a coughing fit.
He wandered the gardens, It's like a maze in here!. The irony? He was in the actual maze of the gardens. He got lost after a good twenty minutes of walking aimlessly. Giving up, he sat down, cursing himself for being an idiot.
Verbally scolding himself, he started repeatedly hitting his head. He would've jumped out of the maze, but his legs were too sore after not being used for a thousand years. He brushed off any remaining bits of stone in his dark brown hair.
He fell onto his back. Staring at the dark blue sky, he held his fist up. He wanted some kind of entertainment, some kind of being to keep him company. That was a problem though, with his outfit screaming "I'M GONNA FUCKING STAB YOU AND RIP YOUR GUTS OUT!". The moon had made quite progress across the sky. About an hour had passed, probably.
He thought that it was about time he got out of there, being all rested up after soaking in the moon's rays. He pulled out a knife. It wasn't very big, but it could probably cut through the maze's hedges.
Charging towards the hedges, he started slashing in front of him whilst screaming bloody murder. After about a good twenty minutes or so, he made it out of the maze covered in shrubbery.
He looked even more like a monster. Now all he needed was a little blood on him to give him the ability to make any pony wet themselves in seconds.
He put his knife back into hammerspace, pondering on where his next destination should be.

It had taken Jack a few minutes to slide down the steep slope of Canterlot Mountain, and a freaking hella' longer time than that to reach Ponyville. He was pretty sure it was already midnight.
Remember how pretty much every pony was scared shitless of Jack? Well, there was probably one pony who wasn't. Problem was that she was dead, but don't worry. Jack knew how to fix that. He bore a smile on his obscured face the entire time.
He was standing in the shadows of one of the buildings, holding onto something a bit heavy. There were still ponies awake, so he had to be careful. Being caught would be bad, really bad for him. Once he knew the coast was clear, he made a break for the Everfree Forest. The body he was holding wasn't really much for him to drag across the road.
Passing by a certain cottage, he sprinted into the forest. The body's smell attracted a bit of wild animals, but he easily out-sprinted them. Dodging every tree that got in his way, he made it to his destination.
His grip on the body loosened, so he slung it over his shoulder. Jack's mind shifted back to when he fist acquired the body. Not too long ago, he was standing in the bedroom of the little filly. She was sleeping peacefully in her bed, hugging her teddy bear tightly. It disgusted Jack to no end. It wasn't that hard to strangle the pony, though. She was pretty small, compared to Jack, and really light. It was difficult to refrain from devouring the body right then and there.
He snapped back into reality, as moonlight shone onto the entire area. The Castle of the Two Sisters. It was Celestia and Luna's old castle. Although run down by time, many of the traps were still operational. Jack scurried into the castle quickly, the body secured on his shoulder. He searched, and made his way to the throne room.
Where his soon-to-be companion was once defeated.
Jack placed the body in the center of the room. He then took out his knife again, along with taking off his glove. He stared at his hand for a moment, remembering how badly damaged it got before. That acid burned.
Making a small cut on his finger, he pulled out the corpse's tongue and wrote on it with blood. Drawing a series of symbols and lines, he nodded as he finished. He took a step back, and started chanting.
He watched as the body rose into the air, it's coat and mane changing color. It's eyes started to open, with light escaping from them. All of a sudden, there was a strong burst of force, launching Jack backwards. The entire room seemed to start collapsing. The body fell lifelessly to the ground.
Jack knew what had happened. He had failed. He had stolen an innocent life for nothing, although that didn't bother him that much. What did bother him though, was that he was never going to meet her. She was defeated before he got here, and she was defeated again during his imprisonment.
But before Jack could mourn over his failure, he saw everything slow to a stop. All the rubble and stones just started to stay suspended in midair, unmoving. Like time was standing still. He saw the body, standing in the center, eyes glowing. He ran towards it, reaching his hand outwards. His hand managed to reach her, just as her eyes started to close again. That was when time resumed itself. Or, I should say, rewind. Everything was going to its original place, from before Jack had arrived. The body fell into his arms. Although, feeling it breathe. Feeling her breathe. He knew it was no longer a body.
He had successfully resurrected Nightmare Moon.
