Chapters Monster Hunter : Equestria
Many years later...
Twilight began to wake up from her slumber , she was at her tree house/library in Ponyville . She began to walk down stairs we she a whiff of breakfast . She walked in the kitchen to find her #1 assistant Spike cooking pancakes and already having the table set-up for breakfast . Twilight gave a small yawn "morning Spike"she said in her sleepy voice .
Spike turned around to find Twilight . He gave her a smile"Morning Twilight , how was your sleep ?"he asked .
"It was fine , but I did have a dream about the last time I saw Dark though ."
"Really ? What do you think that means Twilight ?"
"I don't know " she said as she began to eat "I mean that was a long time ago and so many things happened in my time in Ponyville so I really don't know why i'll have a dream about he vs all of other things that happened here ? " She tried to think as she continued to eat but came up with nothing .
"Oh, I almost forgot "said Spike "Pinkie Pie came here to tell you that there going over Flutter Shy's house today ."
"Thanks for telling me that Spike"Twilight began to clean up the table after she was done eating breakfast . After that was done she got here self cleaned off and started to leave . "Spike I'm going to go so keep an eye on the place ."
"Ok than , see you later Twilight ! "
Twilight walked out of her house and began to make her way to Flutter Shy's house , it was a nice day today . The birds were chirping , the Celestia's sun hung in the sky , and not a signal cloud in the sky . "Maybe Rainbow got her job done early today", Twilight thought . It wasn't long until she made it to the cottage . She walked in to she her five friends already in the room .
"Well howdy there sugarcube !"said AppleJack .
"Hello there girls "Twilight said .
"About time your here Twilight "said Rainbow Dash."What took you so long ?"
"Sorry to keep you waiting , I just had a dream about on of my old friend ."
This got everpony's attention "Now just wait for a second "said Rainbow , "you had friends before you came here " the pegasus said jokingly and received an eye row from Twilight . "So what was her name ? "
"First it's his name not her name and to answer your question his name is Dark Thunder "
"Oh, it's a he ?"Rainbow asked as an evil smile spread onto her face "Was he your coltfriend ? "
Twilight began to blush earning a laugh from everpony . "WHAT, NO ! No he wasn't my coltfriend , we only knew each other for three months before he'd had to move ."
Her friends stopped laughing and looked at her "WHAT !"screamed Pinkie"I mean how could friends not know were there other friends are at . That's one of the worst ways you could lose a friend ."Pinkie than began to turn her attention to the author-Wait what !?!
"Dark Thunder144 how could you do this !"demanded Pinkie . "Oh you have to be kidding me . The second chapter I've ever wrote and there's still somebody breaking the 4th wall and being mad at me "sighing the author continued"Look this is leading up to something and it doesn't take a genus to think that my OC is going to be in the story later so just have some patients , ok ?"
"Ok doke lowk" (I hope that I spelled that right ,"you didn't", moving on !)
"Oh, my"said Flutter Shy after Pinkie outburst that didn't have to do with the author .
"My word darling , I would have thought that you of all pony would have some way to see each other "said Rarity .
"Wait a minute !"said Twilight as she remembered something that Dark said to her before he lefted "There's a spell in there that will let me be able to see him again !"She could believe that she didn't think of this sooner.
"Probably because someone made her forgot that she could do that until now,"Pinkie thought .
"Pinkie , not now . Can it wait till after the chapter ends ?"asked the author.
"Fine , but only because you made a way for Twilight to see her friend again "Excellent now lets move on !
"Than what are we waiting for ?"ask Rainbow "Lets meet Twilight's coltfriend"said Rainbow as she began to fly to Twilight's house .
"He's not my coltfriend !"said an annoyed and somewhat anger Twilight as she began to fly after her .
As everyone began to leave they failed to notice a creature with a cat like appears with red and traces bits of purple glowing eyes watching them . Soon in the dark of the night it attack the unexciting ponies of Ponyville . After all this is just be the beginning .
Monster Hunter : Equestria
Rainbow Dash got to Twilight's house first followed by Twilight and the rest of her friends. As they went in Twilight notice a note on the table. It was from Spike, it said
Dear Twilight ,
I went crusading with the CMC so I'll be back at dusk.

After putting the note down Twilight turned her attention to her friends ."Ok, the book's name is Monster Hunter Guid or MHG for short. I've haven't seen it for some time now so it could be just about anyway so keep your eyes open for it. Ok?"
All of her friend gave her a nod as they began to look for the book.
Night began to fall on ponyville and the library was a s they continued to look for the book. The library floor was littered with books as that is what usual what happens when they try to find a book. Still with no book her and her friends continued to look for it.
"We didn't find the book, the library is in a complete mess, and I'm tried"complain Rainbow Dash ."Can we take a break?"
"I have to agree with her on this one"said AppleJack"How about we take five so y'all can relax for a bit."
"Ok than, lets take break and find the book later" Twilight began to put some of the books away as her friends relaxed.
"Uh, Twilight didn't Spike say that he would be home by now?" As she said this the door open to reveal Spike and the CMC.
"I told you that they'll be here Sweete Bell"said Scoots.
"Fine you were right, Scoots."said an annoy Sweete Bell.
"If y'all don't mind me asking why are you her big sis? I thought you be at the barn helping Mac"said Apple Bloom.
"To answer your question we have been trying to find a book that a pony named Dark Thunder gave her along time ago"reply Rarity as she was helping Twilight putting the books away.
"Wait, you mean that book about monsters? The one he gave to you before he left?"said Spike.
"Why did he have a book about monsters?"asked Sweete. This got all of the ponies intrest, they knew the name of the book but not why it was that book or why he had it. So now all eyes were on Spike go the answer.
"He was planing to become a monster hunter."
"What !?!"exclaim all the ponies in the room out of surprise and shock.
"Twilight, is he serious about that?"said Rarity, still shock with this new information.
"Yes, he was planing to become a monster hunter way before I met him"Twilight continued to explain"he said he was going to protect ponies from these monsters saving there lives and saving their towns in the process. I don't entirely agree with the hunting part but if it has to be done to protect other than I fully support him." As twilight finished all of the ponies in the room looked more at ease.
"Well if he is doing something that dangers to protect others than ah'll darn wrecken that he's a mighty brave and a bit insane but still. If ah ever meet somepony like that than they got my respect"said AppleJack.
"He might be a monster hunter but I'm 20% cooler than him"
"What does the scatter say about Rainbow Dash's ego level?"said Pinkie
Pinkie that joke has been over used over 10,000-1,000 times so lets just continue the story.
"I'm going to take it that you haven't found the book and still trying to find it"said Spike
"I just don't know were it could be!"said an extremely annoyed Twilight
"Have you check the box were Mr. Smartpants was at?"asked Spike
Twilight facehoofed than proceeded to get the box that was in her room as her friends, the CMC, and Spike were waiting patiently and quietly for her return. After wait for three minutes they saw Twilight emerge form her room with the book in her magic grip. She placed it on the table and opened it to the index as everypony moved closer to see the book. The index was huge with over 300 pages with a monster taking up one page each, two if it was luck. Twilight turned to page 321, the beginning of the pages for writing down notes only to find a picture of a filly her with another familiar grey colt.
"Who's that"asked Flutter Shy.
"That would be Dark Thunder" Twilight said as she took out the picture and placed it on the table for all to see
"Well he looks does look rather handsome at that age. Are you sure he's not your coltfriend?" ask Rarity laughing a bit at the end and getting the CMC and Spike to crack up.
"For the last time he's NOT MY COLTFRIEND!" screamed an annoyed Twilight. She finally found the spell and began to cast it. Just than a letter popup and fell on the table. It had a shield with crossing dark thunderbolts with the monster hunter symbol at the center. Twilight opened it and began reading what it said
Dear to whoever this consider
I can't response magically talk or see you at the moment, I'm currently doing a mission nicknamed "Mark of a Hero" which were I hunt a Brachydios, Ivory Lagiacrus, and an Azure Rathalos so please send me a message and I'll response as soon as possible. Thank you for your patients.

"I've never herd anything about those monsters before, are they in this book?" asked Scoots
Twilight opened the book and found the Azure Rathalos and began to read it description aloud. "A subspecies of the Rathalos with azure colored scales the family of Rathalos are know as the "Kings of the Sky". Normally hunting in the sky and swooping in for the kill once they select a target there is little hope to escape."
She turned a couple pages to find the next monster and read aloud "Brachydios, nicknamed "The King of the Volcano" this monster can produce slime that can explode after sometime. It's power can be only match with the Deviljho."
After turning more pages she found the last monster and read aloud for the third time "Ivory Lagiacrus known as the conqueror of land and sea this monster can attack attack it's prey and threats though not many with electrical attacks at a range or around it's body. Enrage this beast and you might not live to tell the tail."
All of the ponies in the room had there mouths wide open, they just herd all of that information about these three monster, each one sounded as dangerous as the last and Dark is fighting all three of them at once.
"Eup definitely insane" said AppleJack.
"Dear sweet Celestia is he insane! Hunting those three at on has to be the most horrible decision you can make! Other than wearing mismatch clothes that are green at Canterlote but still!" said Rarity
Twilight gave a small yawn than turned her attention back to her friends "How about we talk about this tomorrow, it's getting late." They nodded in agreement and walked out of her home. After getting everything back in place and writing a quick letter to Dark Thunder, Twilight went to bed unknown to her there was something waiting in her dreams and in the shadows of the Everfree.
Monster Hunter : Equestria
"Twilight" said a faint mysterious yet familiar voice
"Twilight" the voice said again louder
"Twilight" the voice said continuing to get louder
"Twilig- you know what screw it, Boot to the head"
Just than she felt a boot hit her head causing her to open her eyes to only see a white vastness. She looked around to find much older Dark Thunder.
"Good to see you again Twilight" he said.
"Dark!"Twilight said in confusion, shock, and surprise."How are you here here? This is my dream and the only one that has the power to go into other dreams is -"
"Princess Luna." Dark said cutting off Twilight "You see I have some rare books and one of them named "Magic of the Night" has multiply spells that not even Luna knows, including one spell to walk dreams. Not as well as the Alicorn of the night but quite well, with practice of course. I can go on but I have a feeling that this isn't what you wanted to talk about now is it?"
"Oh, right." Twilight said blushing a bit "You see I had a dream about you last night and I told my friends about it than they wanted to see you so we looked all night to find the book you gave me. We eventually found it and so I casted the spell only to get a latter that said you were hunt three giant, powerful, and dangerous monsters. Because of this my friends went back home and I wrote you a latter back went to sleep and now here we are."
Dark process this for a bit than responded"I see. Question, was it raining in your dream about about me?"
Twilight wasn't sure why he asked this but she answered anyway "Yes? Why do you ask?"
Dark Thunder began to smirk as he said "So you were having a wet dream about me are we now?"
Twilight began to blush so much basically her entire body was red. Her eyes were the size of dinner plates and her pupils as small as a gain of sand. Her mouth was wide up from shock that he just said what he said. Her brain was try to process how to response but it was a frozen black. Trying to let it go like frozen but still no response. Her shock quickly started to become anger as she responded to his comment.
"Dark Thunder!"she screamed out, her fur became white and her mane and tail ablaze with flame.
Congregation! Your Twilight has evolved into a rapidash
That joke has been over used, not as much as the over 9000 joke but still. Actually speaking of monsters, Dark turned his attention from the author back to Twilight. "First off please calm down, it was only a joke. I know that you didn't have that type of dream about me" this made Twilight calm down than Dark continued "Also are you a MonPony?" This confusion Twilight, she had no idea what that was.
"No. What's a MonPony?" asked Twilight.
"It's when a pony has the ability of a monster. Normally it's from hunting them and extremely rare but I and a few others has been luck enough to be one. In my case I have the power of the Stygian Zinogre in which I can charge myself up and either do a runing charge with this power emulating around me or make four dragon change balls that can home in on the target to name a few. I can also make it an electric attack thanks to my thunder magic, it's hard to tell if it's dragon or thunder since they are both the same color black and red but still its helpful to have. Oh, I almost forgot, it increase you physical and athletic ability as well, helpful when you are trying to take down monsters."
Twilight was surprise about this new information and the fact that her old friend has powers of a deadly monster.
"Just at looking at you I know that's I'm not the only one that went through a massive new transformation, Princess Twilight." He said as he bowed to her. This made her blush a bit at this.
"Please don't bow Dark, I don't like ponies bowing to me and I especially don't like friends to do that or call me princess so please just treat me as you always have"
"As you demand princess" this made Twilight sigh in annoyance. As she did Dark notice something about the dream scape.
"Speaking of princesses I know your there so you might as well come out Luna" Dark Thunder said as he looked up. Twilight looked were he was looking at and notice the moon. It began to ripple as a princess of the night came into view, landing about five feet in front of them.
"Good night Dark Thunder, it's a pleaser to see you again." said Luna.
"Good night to you as well Luna. I've was wondering when you be arriving here."
"Wait, you two know each other?" asked Twilight.
"To answer your question Twilight yes Luna and I have known each other for some time now. We meet when I learned the spell to walk into other dreams. Luna felt a disturbances in the force and decided to check it out only to find me trying to connect my, my brother Butter Hero, and my friend Rage Quit dreams so we have a better way to communicate when we are on the other side of Equestria. She helped with this and I basically became her student and she did teach me in the ways of dreams. I soon became a master and even took over her duty of tending over the dreams of all the inhabits of this land. Not all the time I mind you but once in a full moon or so." he began to smirk "Not to mention that me and Luna had a wet dream together."
"DARK THUNDER! " Luna said in her cantorlote voice "JUST BECAUSE YOU MADE IT RAIN IN MY DREAM AND THAT WE WERE BOTH THERE DOESN'T MAKE IT A WET DREAM!
That moment that you forgot to turn off caps lock, Dark thought to him self. They were interrupted by a loud noise that sounded like a giant cat.
"What was that?" Twilight asked.
"This is your dream and that means that what ever thing is it has to be in Ponyville." Luna said.
"Oh no, that sounded like a Nargacuga." Dark Thunder said "Ok Twilight listen to me. You have to repel that monster, I know a team of hunters called "The Legends" that can help but until they get there make sure that nopony gets hurt or worst, got it?"
"Got it" and with that Twilight woke up.
Monster Hunter : Equestria
Twilight began to get out of bed in a hurry, tripping over herself in the process and land on the floor with a thud. Quickly recovering from this she made a mad dash to the bottom floor to get the book of monsters and to see how to repeal this monster. As she made her way to the stairs the Nargacuga roared surprising Twilight and making her lose her balance. She fell off the stairs landing on the floor with a loud thud.
"Nothing broken at least" Twilight thought to herself as she began to get up. She notice a claw in front of her. It as Spike trying to help her get back on her hooves. She took his claw and got back up.
"You ok Twilight?"Spike asked.
"I'm alright Spike it's just that roar surprise me."
They looked out the window to see the monster. It had dark navy blue fur, It had the body of a dragon with catlike qualities and had glowing red eyes with some purple. It gave out roar shattering window and sending Twilight and Spike back.
"What is that thing?" Spike asked in a terrified voice as he got back up on his feet.
"It's a Nargacuga" Twilight said as she ran to the table and open up the book.
"How do you know that?"
"Dark Thunder told me" She said as she flip through the pages "Apparently Luna taught him how to dream walk and after getting my message he came in my dream to talk to me than Luna came in my dream than we heard a roar and he said that it was a Nargacuga and that he was going to send a team called The Legends to help but until than we have to repel it."
Twilight than fliped to the page about the Nargacuga to find out if it had a weakness."Ok, the main weakness is thunder and secondary is fire." Twilight thought to herself on how could she use this to repel it. "I got! Spike come with me and help me get every pegasus you can, I got a plan."
Spike nodded and they ran out of the door. Upon doing so they saw the destruction that it lefted in it's path. Buildings damaged and injured ponies all around with screams of terror in the background. The scene shocked both Twilight and Spike until five ponies snap them out of it.
"Twilight, Spike snap out of it!" Screamed AppleJack.
"What is that thing!?!" Said Riraty both confuse but mainly scared voice.
"It's a monster called the Nargacuga" said Twilight "We have to repel it until a team called The Legends gets here"
"How did you get a te- you know what, later. Right now how can we repel it? I already tryed rushing in without thinking but it didn't work."
"Why am I not surprised" Twilight said while facehoofing "Look I have a plan but we need some pegasus to do it."
"Why do you need them?" Said Flutter Shy in a small scared voice as she hid behind Rainbow.
"It's weakness is thunder and since pegasus can use clouds..."
"I get it! They attack it with lighting that will repel it until The Legends get here!" Said Pinkie in a excited voice as she bounced up and down, but than stopped in midbounce. "Who are they? And how do you know them?"
"I''ll explain later but right now get every pegasus you can find" They all nodded as they went in all different direction to get every pegasus they can. As Twilight ran she found the monster cornering a unicorn filly with a blonde mane and a light grey purple fur. Twilight recognize her as Dinky. The Nargacuga was about to attack the young filly until it was hit by a rock. It looked in the direction were it was thrown to find Twilight with some more rocks in her magic grip. This distracted it and Dinky use this to run but it didn't last long as the Nargacuga noticed it's pray getting away. It jumped in front of her and roared send her back a bit. Twilight stepped in front of her to protect her but as the monster charged it was attacked by what looked like yellow scales, they all looked at who or what did that what what they found shocked them.
Up in the air they found a grey pegasus with Sergio armor and dual blades. She had a blonde mane and a grey coat. It was Derpy. She landed in front of them and looked at them and gave them a smile than looked back at the monster. Her eyes went straight and small with unrelenting rage and anger as she glared at the monster. The Nargacuga made the one mistake that no one should made. It just threaten her daughter and now Derry was pissed.
Monster Hunter : Equestria
The monster roared making some of the windows in the area break and making the two ponies behind Derry cover there ears.
"Cover your eyes!" Derry said as she grabbed something out of her bag. Twilight and Dinky did as she said much to there confusion but as they did Derry throw the object in front of the Nargacuga head, it let out a bright light effectively stunning the monster.
"Twilight I want you to get Dinky out of here and out of harms way."
"When did you... how are you... your a-"
"Monster hunter? Yes and I'll answer your question later but right now I need to know if you have a plan to repel this."
"Yes I do but we need time"
"Ok than. I'll buy you some time just get my daughter out of here."
"NO! I won't leave you." Dinky said with tears flowing down here face as she was holding on to Derry's leg.
Giving her a hug and getting her off here leg she said "Don't worry my little muffin I'll come back to you and your father but right now just let me handle this." Dinky gave her a nod and ran in the other direction with Twilight. Derpy than turned her attention back to the monster that was no long stun and looking very anger. They looked eyes with each other as she notice the purple in it's eyes which did confuse her. She has battled a good number of Nargacuga before but none of them had purple and red eyes. The monster let out a roar, she decided to think latter and act now.

The Nargacuga charged at her with incredible speed but she rolled to the side and did a few quick attacks on it's tail, knocking a few scales off. The Nargacuga winced in pain but recovered quickly and attacked Derpy with it's tail making her fall back a few feet away. As she was down it took this chance and charged once again but this time it made contact doing more damage. Derpy got back on her hoofs as the monster charged again but this time she was able to fly out to the way and land on a near by roof and took a mega potion healing her.
Derpy than jumped on the back of the monster and started to stab her hunting knife into the back of the Nargacuga. Feeling her and her attacks on it's back it was trying to get her off. In it's attempt to get her off the monster hit one of the build's wall making the blond pegasus lose some of her grip but not falling off. The Nargacuga than took a deep breath, Derry knew what was about to happen and braced her self but it was too late.
The Nargacuga let out the loudest roar it could muster destroying all the windows that wasn't already broken and more importantly getting the hunter off of it's back but before hitting the ground she unveiled her wings and took to the sky. The Nargacuga looked at Derpy as she was flew in the sky until she stopped about 20 feet in front of the monster but still having a good amount of space between the ground and her. The monster saw that she was mad and also made out some sharp yellow spike in her wings, mane, and tail. She flapped her wings forward making some of the scale to go rocketing at the monster. The Nargacuga moved in a attempt to dodge but it wasn't fast enough.
The scales hit the right wing effectively breaking it. Flinging in pain it lose it balance and fell over. Derpy taking this chance dived bombed the monster than landing on the ground near it's face she went into demon mode and attacked the monster with multiply quick and powerful strikes.
Eventually this made the Nargacuga get a massive scar over it's face as it hollered in pain. With monstrous speed it got back up on it's claws and jumped away from the crossed eyed hunter as it entered into rage mood. Both Derpy and the Nargacuga was once again starring down with anger in both of there eyes. They were about to charged until they herd the crackling of lighting above them.
(Stop music)
They both looked up to find many pegasus with thunder clouds above them. "Now!" They began to attack the Nargacuga with thunder bolts though basically there aim was just a good as a stormtrooper as it hit around the monster. The Nargacuga seeing that it was out numbered and they were using his weakness against it had no choice but to retreat. It gave out a roar, stunning a good amount of pegasus. Taking this chance the Nargacuga made a mad dash to the forest and took shelter in the think, dark forest.
(Some time later)
Derpy was currently in the ponyville hospital getting treated for her injuries. There was a surprising low amount of ponies that was injected and if the reports were right no deaths. Back on topic, Derpy had no major injuries and should be back at 100% by morning. Currently the main six, Spike, Dinky, and Derpy's husband Doctor Whooves was in the room with her as they bombarded her with question.
"When and how are you a monster hunter? What weapons and armor is that? How were you able to fight a Nargacuga? Were did yo-" Twilight was about to continue until Doctor Whooves intruded her.
"Twilight, we all have question but bombarding her with question isn't going to help. How about we do this in an organized matter." Twilight blushed slightly at this.
Wait, how is there an icon there? "I couldn't help it. That basically describes Twilight right now" Pinkie said to the author. I guss two chapters without a fourth wall break is too much to ask for -sigh- fine just don't do it again. "Ok!" PINKIE ! "Starting now"
"Don't worry I'll answer all your question" Derry said with a smile "You see it all began...
Monster Hunter : Equestria
(Past, 1 year after the first chapter)
Derpy was prepping up for another mission. She had only began hunting about a week ago. (Post that song and I swear) She about to hunt her first Great Jaggi and to say she was worried was an understatement. You could see her shaking in her armor as dozens of thoughts went through her head.
'I can't believe it I'm going to hunt my first major monster! I can't believe it. I still don't believe it. Did I bring enough of my mega potions? Or my shock traps? Or how about my poisonous meat? I'm I going to fail? No, no stay positive Derpy it's just a pony eating monster that is super dangerous and I also have never seen in pony and not to mention it's my first real monster that I'll hunt with no experience. Oh, who am I kidding I'm so going to fail...' As she continued to think flagrantly she failed to notice the hunter that she was about to walk into.
"WAW!" Derpy said as she fell back from the impact, the hunter she bumped in to moved to the side and quickly recovered. He turned his attention to the newbie hunter that just bumped into him. Seeing that she was on the ground he gave her a helping hoof.
"You ok?" He asked with his hoof reached out to her. She took it and got back up. She began to notice some details about him. He looked about the same age of her, had Barroth armor, a long sword, and had a grey coat.
"Yea. Sorry for bumping into you"
"It's ok, no harm done. Going on your first hunt?"
"How did you know?" Derpy said in shock and surprise.
"You have that new hunter look for one and two you dropped your mission paper." He said with her mission in his magical grip. "So the Great Jaggi? I can come with you and help if you want."
"What! Really?"
"Sure, I need to get a claw anyway. Just let me get some items first than we can go Ms.?"
"Derpy. And you are?"
He flashed a quick smile and said "I'm Dark Thunder."
(Present)
"Wait! You know Dark Thunder?!?" Said Twilight.
"Yea, we first meet there. He helped me get started with hunting. He helped me for about a week than he had to leave. He was very nice and helpful."
"Well that sounds a lot like him. Did you see him again after that?"
"Yes actually, it was about 2 years later though it wasn't under good conditions..."
"What happen?" Everyone asked in unison.
"He was paralyze and was about to be eaten by a Deviljho."
"What?!?" Everyone said.
"What's a Deviljho?" Dinky asked.
"Um Twilight, are you ok?" Asked Flutter Shy. All eyes went to Twilight who was pale. She remembered the nightmare of the monster from the book stories and from Dark's experience with one.
"I take it you know what I'm talking about?" Twilight only nodded. "Anyway it's one of if not the deadliest monsters of all time. It's has a bottomless stomach and will eat anything, wither it be monster, captured monsters, monster hunters, even it's own tail isn't safe. It will kill anything that moves."
This made everyone scared. A monster that will eat anything and is always hungry, the thought terrified them. If this was just one monster what else was there?
"Did you save him mom?" Dinky said in a curious and slightly terrified voice.
"I did but it was by pure luck. We luck that we both still alive after that. After that he didn't say what happen but I can tell it wasn't just the deviljho, something else had a hoof in it but he never told me. "We'll remember that. Still this is the second time he had an incident with one of those monsters." This got everyone curiosity including Derpy's. This was the only time she knew that he had incountered a deviljho. So what was she taking about?
"Wait, second time? What was the first?" Derry asked.
"I don't remember the story too much but I do know that not too long before we meet he and one of his friends ran it that monster and nearly got eaten. I don't really remember much after that though."
"Uh, interesting I ask him about that if I see him again. Oh, by the way did you get help with the current Nargacuga problem?"
"Actually Dark called a team already."
"Wait, he's here!?!" Derpy said in a mix of surprise and shock.
"No. He was able to talk to me in my dream."
"Say what?" Said AppleJack.
"Apparently Luna taught him how to dream walk. I don't know any other details beside that."
"So first he's a monster hunter and now he's a dream walker? What's next, is he secretly an alicorn too?" Rainbow said in an annoying voice that dripped with sarcasm.
Pinkie narrowed her eyes and glared at the... author. Sigh, can't get a break from you can't? Look he is powerful but not an alicorn alright.
"Ok than but I'm watching you." Pinkie said as she pointed her hoof at her eye than to the author than back to her. Can't get a break for her can I? Anyway on with the story!
"Ok ladies, and Spike how about we get some rest and meet up at the train station in the morning and meet with this team when they get here." Said Doctor Hooves.
"How do you know that they are going be on the train?" Asked Rarity.
"Well how else are they going to get here."
"Good point. We now lets go home and get some rest." Everyone nodded to that as they all went to there homes and got some rest.
(Morning, 9 a.m.)
Twilight and her friends were on the train platform with Derpy. The Doctor and Dinky decided to stay home after the events of last night and since Dinky fell to sleep at 6:20 in the morning they decided to giver some sleep and someone had to stay with her.
"So Derpy I been meaning to ask you something." Twilight said.
"What would that be?"
"I saw attack the Nargacuga with golden scales that came from your wings, what was that?" This got everyponies attention. How was she able to do that?
"You see I'm a monpony."
"What?" Twilight's friends said in unison.
"Dark said something about that. You have powers of a monster if I'm correct?" Twilight said.
"That's right. In my cause it a Seregios. A monster bird with extremely sharp scales and rivals with the Rathian and Rathalos spices of monsters. The are very powerful and dangerous."
"Ah I see. Wait which one?" Asked Apple Jack
"All of them. Looks like the train is here." Derpy said as they looked in the direction that she was looking and the saw the train coming. It made its way to the station. It came to a halt and the door opened up. Coming out of the train was three ponies. The one to the left was a earth pony and had Barroth armor and a heavy bowgun. The one on the rights as also a earth pony had Rathalos armor with a matching great sword. The one in the middle walked up with his team following and stop in front of Twilight.
"I heard that you needed help." The pony said. He had Diviljho armor with a deviljho switch axe to match. He was a pegasus with a yellow coat and mane.
"Yes we do. I take it you are the leader of 'The Legends'."
"Yes we are."
"So this is the team Dark Thunder called?" Rainbow dash said.
"Why else would they be here Rainbow? Actually now getting a better look at you... Have we meet before?" Asked Twilight.
"We problely have but we were both young at the time."
"What does that mean?" Asked Rarity.
"Maybe this will ring a bell. My name is Butter Hero. Dark Thunder's little brother."
Monster Hunter : Equestria
They stood there in shock upon hearing this. The team Dark called was here and there leader was his little brother. What a twist! They continued to stand there wide eyes and mouths wide opened. For what seemed like hours (though it was only about a minute) someone or in this cause Spike said something.
"So... your Dark's brother?"
"That would be a yes." Butter Hero said. "How about I introduced you to the rest of my team." He'd pointed to the pony with the Rathalos armor on the right. "That's Rex. One of my friends and a high rank hunter."
"Sup."
"And the one to the left" Butter said now pointing to the pony with the Barroth armor."He's another one of my friends and a low rank hunter. His name is Grand Slam."
Spike went wide eyes at this. Could he be the one he's thinking about? "Wait, wait , wait. Grand Slam? You mean the Grand Slam? One of the best batters in all of baseball Grand Slam?! The one who gotten manehattan the wining home run to win the world series Grand Slam?!?" Spike said with his voice going from surprised to pure excitement at the end.
"That's me. I'll take it your a fan?" The Barroth armored pony said. He took his helmet off to reveal his face. He had a blue coat with a white mane and grey eyes. Spike went wide eye, his favorite baseball player was standing right in front of him. Prepare for total fanboy in 3, 2, 1-
"It's you! You're my favorite baseball player of all time! Can I have your autograph!?! Or-" Spike's fanboying was intrupted by Twilight levitating him away from him and back to her side.
"Sorry about that. He's just a big fan."
"It's ok, I love meeting fans. As for the autograph, I'll give you one but later. Ok?" Spike nodded his head at this excitedly.
"Sorry to break this up but can we get a place to rest. Dark kind of woke me up at about 3 in the morning so I would like to get some sleep." Said Butter.
"You guys can rest at my house." Said Twilight.
"Thanks. Me and my team appreciate it."
"Anything for the team helping us and for Dark's brother." Twilight said with a smile.
"You know just because this chapter is named after your team but that doesn't mean that I won't be in it." Said a voice from inside the train. It clearly a female voice and upon hear this Rex went wide eye. So that's 8 charters that went wide eye.
"Great, if keeping me up all night wasn't bad enough. And this just had to be her stop." Said Rex who was very annoyed. A pony came walking out of the train. She was a unicorn that had Tigrex armor and Tigrex claws dual blades. She was wearing the Tigrex Helm S so you could see here face. She had a pink black coat, a white, purple, and magenta mane, and blue eyes.
"Hi Derpy!" Said the unicorn with a smile big enough to give Pinkie a run for her money.
"Why would I run with money?" It's an expression Pinkie.
"Black Light?!? What are you doing her?" Said Derpy with a mix of excitement and confusion.
"Well I wanted to be in the story and to visit you so here I am!" Why does she sound like another Pinkie? One is bad enough for the 4th wall and now there's two of them. Sigh, at least three aren't three 4th wall breakers there.
"Before you start Black Light" said Rex as her glared at Black Light. "Can we get to your place Twilight? I'm extremely tried because somepony couldn't shut up last night."
"Sorry about"said Black with her hoof at the back of her head. "I was just so excited to see Derpy again and-"
"I get it. Can we go now?"
"Of course, follow me." Said Twilight as she guided The Legends to her house. "Apple Jack we'll meet up at the barn in about three hours, ok?"
"Ah hear ya. See you later sugarcube." And with that everypony left the train station.
Monster Hunter : Equestria
The walk to Twilight's house was a short one. They came to her home that was a tree, one of the more creative house that Butter has seen. 'Not the most creative houses I've seen but it's somewhere on the list. At least it's not built on an old Rathian nest or next to the crater of a active volcano! I hate the heat, though it can't get any worse than that.'
Twilight than opened the door to reviled the inside of her home. It was a library as well as a home, this made Butter go pale. 'I'm going to sleep in a library, my worst nightmare just became true. Ok, maybe I can sleep on a cloud or go back to the volcano? Are there ANY other options beside this?'
"You alright Butter?" Asked Rex "You look pale."
"Yea... I'm alright just... tired." said Butter as he began to think 'And just about to live my worst nightmare. Ok calm down butter, just take a nap here and find a hotel later.' Him and his team went into the place as Twilight closed the door behind her.
"Ok we have a guest bedroom that one of you can sleep in, my bedroom, and the coach. The kitchen is through that door." She said as she pointed to a doorway. "Other than that just meet us at the barn when you guys wake up."
"Ok than Twilight, until than" and with that she exited her house leave the team to themselves.
"So... did any of us see any mares that looks good on the way here?" Asked Rex. This made Butter facehoof.
"Seriously Rex? Why do you ask that, we just got here."
"Come on Butter, chicks love monster hunters. By the end of this they should be lining up to-"
"Ok Rex let me stop you there." Interrupted Grand. "First off me and Butter has a better chance than you."
"Now just what a minute-"
"Think a about it Rex, I'm a famous baseball player and a monster hunter to back it up with. And than there's Butter who is the leader of the team and is way better than both of us. Bottom line, if there is a line it's going to be for us." Finished Grand Slam. Rex just glared at him with hate and annoies for what he just said.
"Fuck you Grand." Said Rex. "-Sigh- Anything else you want to say?" Grand shook his head.
"Nope, I basically recked you so mission accomplished." Said Grand with a smile.
"I hate you. So who's going to sleep were? Any idea on how we're going to decide Butter?" They looked at but how still looked pale and deep in thought.
'-ok than maybe if I do that I can go to the hotel. That got damaged during the attack. Plan- what was it? M, L, G, I think it was Y? Yeah I'm going with Y. So there should be an old castle or something like that in the forest, I just have to find it and find a bed inside. It's going to take a lots of time and with no direction... Ok plan-'
"BUTTER!" Screamed both Grand Slam and Rex at Butter Hero, this made him jump and interrupted his thoughts on were else he can sleep vs this nightmare of a place. He just really hates libraries, and books, and work, and- you know what if I keep this up this chapter will be over ten thousand words long so let's move on.
Butter recovered from this and looked at his two teammates "Yes, what do you want?" Butter said with annoyed voice.
"Well first I want you to stop thinking of places that you'll rather sleep in and second tell Rex I'm sleeping on-"
"Wait a minute, how did you know I was thinking that?"
"You and books don't mix in the slightest degree. Me, Grand, and anypony how knows you for a week can tell."
"Maybe a day for some of them" said Rex
"So do you want something or are you guys going to keep going on about how I hate books?" Butter said with announce and anger.
"Can I go with the latter?" Replied Rex clearly trying to annoy Butter.
'By Celestia it's like Dark talking about Godzilla, it doesn't stop.' Butter sighed "What do you want for the last time?"
"Well I want you to tell Grand that I'm sleeping at the guest room."
"That's not happening"
"Oh yes it is"
"Not a chance"
"Enough!" Yelled Butter that was fed up with this argument. "Rex sleeps on Twilight's bed, Grand gets the Geist, and I'll take the couch. Got it?" After finishing this he looked at his teammates, they had a surprised expression on there face. "What?"
"I thought you were taking the bedroom."
"Same."
"Look, both of you had a rough night. With Grand extended game and with you having a chat with your friend-"
"She not my friend, she's annoying."
"She did apologize this morning didn't she?" Grand asked.
"True, but I can't think straight when I'm sleepy."
"Join the club Rex" said Butter. "Look, the bottom line is that you both had a rough night so you two should sleep on a bed. You two earned that much." Finished Butter.
"Thanks Butter." Said Rex as he made his way to the bedroom.
"Alright than, night. Or morning? Screw it, have a nice nap." Said Grand as he walked to the Guest bedroom. Butter than walked to the couch that already had a blanket and pillow on it. He got himself comfortable than closed his eyes.
'I just hope I don't have to stay in this nightmare for too long' He though as he drifted into sleep.
Monster Hunter : Equestria
Currently at the Canterlot Castle there was a purple filly named Twilight . She just got her cutiemark about 4 months ago and is currently under the teaching of none other than the princess her self , but at the moment she was in her room with her first friend named Dark Thunder . He was an unicorn that had a short mane and tail that was black with red highlights at the end , his fur was a volcano ash grey , his eyes was red , and had a shield with two cross black and red thunder bolts inside of it and the monster hunter symbol at the center . Twilight doubted it but get that thought out of the way she continued to talk with her coltfriend .
"Now just hold on there" , Dark Thunder said to the author"We aren't in a relationship or anything like that so you better type your words carefully"
The author sighed "just great" he thought "now I need to buy some 4th wall breaking duck tape ." Now Dark Thunder continued to talk to his nonromantic marefriend .
"That's better" Dark thought "Anyway Twilight this is the book of monsters . A guide that tells you all the know monsters , bio , weakness , behavior , etc . Just the thing ever hunter should have !" Dark said excitedly "And before you ask yes this monster are real and soon i'm going to hunt them !"
"But what about dragons like Spike ?" Twilight ask nevertheless as she looked at a sleeping Spike .
"Don't worry about it Twilight" Dark reassured her "I'll only hunt the monsters that treated other ponies , so he'll be alright ."He now looked back at a now calm Twilight "Besides , I like Spike and his spices isn't in the book so he'll be alright " Dark gave Twilight a reassuring smile . He looked at the clock and realize that he had to leave soon he gave out a small sigh than he looked back at Twilight"Twilight I have to go soon and we both know that we won't see each other for awhile so"he picked up the book and gave it to Twilight"I liked you to have this to remember me by "
Twilight gasp out of shock but mainly out of surprisement . He ever since they meet he had this book and now he was giving her it . "Dark I...I don't know what to say . I mean you love this book and your just giving it to me ?!?"
"Eup . It's waterproof , fireproof , and even has a spell in it so we can talk and see each other so this isn't goodbye , just until next time"
Twilight walked over and hug him than after letting him go she ask"When we see each other again ?"
"I don't know but I hope its soon "Dark began to walk out than stopped at the door , he looked back at Twilight and said"tell Shining Armor and Cadence I said goodbye . Hope to see you real soon !"
And with that Dark Thunder left . Twilight hoped to see him soon . But fate had other ideas , they won't see each other in years to come but in the mean time a dark presidents was in Equestria and in time it will make it self known as the Gore Magala .

I'm canceling the story. I've lost my spark and really can't do anything to get it back. I do apologize for this, maybe in time I'll return back to this story but for now don't expect anything.
