"Twlight....where are you.." shadow asked . twilight has gone missing for two or three weeks already. Neither celestia nor twilight velvet, twilight's mother, knew where she was. Shining armor supposed it was shadow but he said he didn't . Shining wasn't sure tho, he always felt uncomfortable around him.

"shadow... you must get some sleep... is almost midnight." Spike said.. he felt bad about shadow because ,apart he was one of the most depressed ponies by twilight's disappearance in equestria ,  he didn't ate or slept anything, being busy looking for her. He finished last week a necklace to keep his identity hidden. He already had it around his neck With the sapphire one.

"I cant ... we need to find twilight... " he said. The doctor said he must be getting rest for the injury to heal , but that's what he didn't had time to... rest. He always did his chores of the castle and worked. And now without twilight, hers too. It wasn't getting any better, if anything, worse.

"But tomorrow we have to go to fillydelfia . You can't go looking like this. Come on... a good night sleep will help you..."

"But.... " he sighs "if you insist... but if I don't wake up, Is your fault." He said. He stood up and walked to his room, spike following. He lays on the bed and curls into a ball , around spike. He didn't wanted to sleep... knowing twilight was missing but he fell asleep unwilling to do it.

The next day, spike shaked shadow. He groaned. He was still having a great amount of pain, more than he principally had .he couldn't hide it. He would breath heavily or lay wherever he was at. His leg has also worsen, his wings, however, were fully healed already. He didn't felt happy tho.. he wanted twilight back... celestia has sent guards all over equestria.

"Do we really need to go to fillydelfia?" Shadow grunted. They were going to fillydelfia to look for twilight , although shadow knew she wasn't there...

"Yes... I dont wanna go either but we have to..."spike said. They both didn't wanted to go but pinkie insisted. She was the most depressed pony in equestria, shadow followed her and spike followed shadow then the mane 5...then her family and then the princesses and then nopony else because I won't be ending this story anytime soon If I keep going.

"do she has something that's hers in the castle."He asked.

"Yes" spike ran to her room and brought back smarty pants."this Is smarty pants. Let's say it was her "old assistant" when she was a filly. "

Shadow levitated smarty pants. he does a spell as smarty pants pointed at one direction.

"well. Smarty pants already knows where twilight is. Get the rest and meet me in front of the everfree. "he said before flying off. Spike, confused, obeyed and went to the rest. shadow was waiting in front of the everfree, looking at it.

"Shadow? What happened?" Fluttershy asked.

"smarty pants found twilight. Or that's what I think... anyways, let's get going." he said before taking flight inside the everfree. The rest followed confused, hoping that he hasn't gone crazy...

"I don't know anything! "

Twilight was tied up to a wall, cut and beaten up, just for not knowing an answer...

"I will ask you a last time because I swear , I will cut off those wings of yours. WHERE IS CENTREUS!" he shouted.

" I swear. I dont know. I really dont know... I really d-" Ryan has knocked her out with a wooden bat. Blood dripped from her face

"Remember me to cut of her wings, lucy..."

"But ... " lucy said

"But nothing. Remember me or the wings that are going to get cut are yours!" Ryan said, grabbing lucy's muzzle. "Understood?"

"Yes... brother..." she said. Ryan threw her to the floor and walked out. "no I wont... " she walked to twilight and cleaned the blood that was dripping from her face, hopping she could do something... "don't worry twilight, you will get out soon..."

"This place is creepy... and dirty... " pinkie said.

"Girls... whatever you see in here , don't scream. We are here to save twilight , not to look around And take pictures..." centreus said. "Spike, can you burn down the lock?"

"yes. " spIke answered as he breathed fire to it.

"It was open.. why melt it.?" Rainbow asked.

"when we escape... do you want to see your friends be locked in here while you, me and fluttershy fly out ,if the pegasus guards aren't above us?"-

"Oh.."

"You seem to know a lot from this place shadow." Applejack said.

"I like to investigate... um.... different stuff... from equestria..." he said nervously. Applejack stared at him

"Are you sure? You look like you are lying to me.."

"When we come back to the castle, if we do... I will tell you and the rest the honest truth... maybe you'll hate me, maybe you will understand Why i did." He looks away Closing his eyes.

"Why we would hate you? You haven't done anything to us for hating you. we will never hate you... never." Applejack said.

"I hope you are right Applejack... I hope you are right..." he pushed the door after spike finished. "We must hurry... " shadow said. they went on a full gallop. He took flight and entered the base labs, where smarty pants pointed. He gulped and entered. They followed close behind.

he touched a door and opened it slowly. "Twilight!"

He flew as fast as he could but he Gets send through the wall by a blast of magic.

"no touching." Ryan said, coming out .

"Shadow!" Spike said. He went to run to shadow but gets grabbed by ryan's magic.

"Aww... is a cute pet you have , shadow. " Ryan mocked. He then proceeded to throw spike to a wall . Spike was about to hit the wall when he gets grabbed again and is willed toward shadow was thrown. Shadow walked out from the wall and grabbed spike.

"Applejack, do you remember what I said before we entered? "Shadow said.

"This is no time for talking! But yes I do." She shouted.

"this is why I said you would hate me." He grabbed the magic necklace ,and rip it off his neck. What they saw, including twilight, made them back up .

"You... you...you are centreus?" Applejack said. He nodded and threw the necklace to the floor.

"I knew it was you, my centaurus" Ryan mocked. Centreus closed his eyes as his scar glowed .

"Centreus... " centreus said. his horn glowed as ryan was sent flying to the other wall.

He untied twilight and grabbed some bandages nearby "let's go" He said as they ran out. He was bandaging twilight's injuries as she looked at him, about to use magic.

"Twilight, don't use magic for now... you are going to be fine... " he said. her horn stopped glowing.

They managed to get out from the base and throught the everfree forest. When they got out, twilight horn glowed again as she blasted a beam at centreus, he send him flying back to a tree , dropping her . She rolled a few times before stopping and stood up slowly. Centreus stood up slowly too and shaked his head. He held a hoof up to his eye, bleeding. When he opened the other, he was blasted again by twilight, sending him deeper into the everfree.

"Lets.... go... " twilight said. She went to give a step but she fell, passed out. Rarity grabbed her and gave her to rainbow.

"Take her to the castle. I'm going to get some medical help." Rarity said before running to the hospital. Spike was running toward centreus.

"Centreus! " He shouted. He shaked centreus as he opened his left eye.

"S...spike... " he said. spike dragged him as fast as he could out of the everfree. Ryan's guards were coming from behind. Royal guards from the front.

"Run... before they see you..."

"No. I wont let you here. "spike was crying . Centreus took his sapphire necklace and gave it to spike.

"Go... Twilight needs you more than I do now... "

"No... I want to stay here with you..."

"I know... that's why you don't let me no choice..." his horn glowed .spike was then teleported to twilight, whom already was in the castle bed, with applejack, pinkie, rainbow dash, and fluttershy.

"Centreus... no... " Spike said. Applejack looked at him. He Was crying with no sign of stopping ...he held very close centreus necklace. Applejack was about to say something but didn't say anything... she didn't wanted To make spike worse than He already was

Centreus was laying on the floor, breathing heavily. He couldn't escape now... he was weak... those two blast were unexpected and took most of his energy. He stood up shaking .he looked around. he was surrounded . By one side, royal guards... by the other, ryans. he didn't know what to do. he was weak to teleport away or to fly. He hardly stood up. He gave up. He couldn't do anything. He dropped to his knees and after seconds, to his side. the guards came running and apprehended him.

"We are taking him to canterlot. "A royal guard said. Ryan was walking toward centreus and looked at him

"I'm going too. he's very dangerous so he may escape." he said. Centreus raises a little his head and drops it, to weak even to move.

"Twilight... why..." Spike asked. Twilight has woken up . Spike knew she didn't do it accidentally.

"He is dangerous. I don't want him to hurt you or our friends "

"twilight... he would never hurt us. "

"He is a dragon pony! He could have eaten us!"

"in that part you are right .but there's something wrong in that. He could eat us BUT he didnt Eat us .are you blind or trying to win this argument"

Twilight was about to say something about what he just said but Applejack took talk before she could say something

"He's right twilight... he could had eaten us but he didnt. Darn it... I think we busted up... leaving him on the floor." Applejack admitted.

"Yeah... i... now fully understand why he said we would hate him... he was scared that we would give him to the autorities... just like a cute little bunny in a very scary cave... " fluttershy said.

Twilight sighs . Her friends got a valid point. He wasn't evil nor bad... he just wanted to have friends and hang out, go to places, that kind of stuff, but twilight decided to not give him a chance at his normal form. She instead let him on the floor, weak and on its own, just after he saved her.

Twilight closes her eyes and lays head on pillow, head facing pillow.

"I'm supposed to be the princess of friendship... why I didn't gave him a chance... " she said.

"Twilight, appearances lies. I was just like you when I first saw him on the hospital. I was about to tell the autorities but, he said something that made me realize he wanted to have friends... He said 'I understand if you don't want to be my friend' . He knew that I was going to tell them, but I heard my inner voice, 'its the right thing to do?' Twilight. Now we are in a bad situation and we don't know how's going to end. Listen to your inner voice. It was the right thing To do?" Spike concluded. They were all watery, twilight rise from the pillow and hugged spike.

"I am a brain and stuff but sometimes, I think that you know more than I do...." Twilight said. Hugging spike.

"So now what."spike asked. Twilight didn't know but instead of laying around doing nothing, her horn glowed as books entered in a line. She was going to bring back her friend. She was going to prove that she really is the princess of friendship...
