Ebon Gleam is a young unicorn scholar from Canterlot. He is sent to Ponyville by his mentor, a powerful mage by the name of Arzak "Zack" Spellweave, a retired captain of the royal guard. While on the way to Ponyville Ebon experiences a strange dream. He hears a voice telling him about something called "The Nothing," and wants him to supposedly return to it. Finding nothing at the newly reconstructed Golden Oak Library, he seeks out the old Castle of the Twin Sisters. His quest for answers sets in motion a chain of events that could very well end the whole world, and all others as well. Ebon Gleam must do all he can to fix his mistake, and stop The Nothing from swallowing all of Existence.
