A Wonderful wake up call.

Author's Note: Yes, I know I need to spell things better, I also know that I'm terrible. Stop telling me things I already know.

I woke up with an annoying beeping coming from above me.

"What a pleasant way to wake up." I said, sarcasim oozing from raspy voice. I decided to get a drink to solve my voice problem, so I picked myself off the floor and wondered around trying to find a source of water. I ended up finding the bathroom. I put my ear against the door to see if there was anyone in there. Nothing.

"Must be empty then." I said. And with that, I walked in and found the sink. I had to kneel to reach it.

"Damn small ponies. Why cant they make anything for taller things?" I sighed, then turned on the water. I cupped my hands and washed my face real fast and watered down my hair so I can fix it better.

"I should really get my hair cut, or at least get it styled." I said noticing my hair was irritating my eyes.

"I don't even know why I keep it this long. I guess I just like the way it looks when the wind blows in it." I said, thinking about it even further.

And with that, I cupped my hands once more, and drank the water inside them.

"Ah. Much better. Now I don't sound like I swallowed sandpaper." I said, grateful for the drink.

And being the good listener I am, I was curious about the sound I was hearing. It was nothing. Absolute nothing.

"Strange... There should at least be foot- erm, hoofsteps? Coming from that pony." I said as I was getting up to look for her. I wandered around the small cottage, amazed at all the animals homes and other supplies. I also found that the door was fixed.

"I wonder who did that?" I though.

Then I noticed him. A small white rabbit. His eyes told me many things. It told me that he did not like my presence. But also told me that he needed my help with something.

I decided to take pity on the little thing.

"I'm guessing you need help?" I asked. He stood there shocked at how I was right on the first try. "Sheesh, don't act too suprised!" I said laughing slightly. "Now, back to the subject. What ya need help with?" I said serious again. "Damn, even here I have to help people with their problems. Why can't I just ignore them?!" I though.

The rabbit pointed to the door. So I opened it. And he charged out at the fastest he could go. I quickly caught up considering how 3 of his hops equaled one of my steps. And I was just walking leizurely, enjoying the scenery. When he stopped, I almost stepped on him. He looked at me with anger, fear, and annoyance.

"What?" I said. He looked at me with eyes that said, " You know what you did."

"And? So what. It was an accident." I shot back. He just rolled his eys and pointed to a shed.

"Let me guess, she's scared, its dark, and she forgot how to open the door?" I said with a voice like I had done this all before. The rabbit looked at me, then to the door, then back at me. And shook his head yes again.

I looked at the door and noticed it turned inward. I put my ear to it to see if I could hear her breathing. Barely.

I turned back to the rabbit. "She's either running out of air, or she fainted." I said, "No point in sugar-coating it." I thought.

He looked even paler now. "Whoa. You look like you've seen a ghost. And how can a rabbit with white fur get whiter?"

He looked at me annoyed and with eyes that said, " You gonna help or just stand there?"

"Fine, I'll help, but I need you to make sure she isn't in the way of the door. Can you like, dig under the wall or something?"

He looked at me and facepalmed. Or in his case facepawed? I don't know. But with that he got to work on digging. After about 10 minutes of waiting he came back out and shot me a look that said, "Ok, now get going."

"OK! sheesh. Don't need to be pushy." As I got up, I noticed a small jingleing sound. I reached into my jacket and felt the bullets there. I relized that I also had my rifle on my back.

"How did I not notice these earlier? I wonder if my knife is still there too." I thought. And reaching into my pants where I stored my knife, I found it. I quickly took it out. The rabbit looked at my with a look that said, "What's that?"

"Now this," I said unsheathing the oversized hunting knife, "Is a knife."

The rabbit now just plain ran away now. But stayed at a distance until I put the knife away.

"Wow, you guys get scared fast don't you? I'll remember that." I said. "Now then. Stay there. I don't want you getting hurt by my crazy ideas." I said, once again unsheathing the knife.

"Now, lets hope I still got some good aim." I said with a wicked smile. "I bet that rabbit is terrifide with what he sees me as." I thought before throwing the knife right into the middle of the door. Effectavly splitting it in half for no reason.

"Good, I still do. Now then. Enough fooling around shall we?" I said. All he did was fall back. I laughed at him and set my rifle down.

"DON'T. YOU. DARE. TOUCH. IT." I said grimly pointing to the rabbit.

With that, I walked up to the door, and kicked one side of it. To see what side the hindges where on. Left.

"This gonna be easy considering how easy my knife went into it." I said takeing a couple steps backward. And with all the force in my already strong legs, I ran up to the door and kicked on the right side, effectivly opening the door, and not just breaking off the hindges and having to explain why its like that.

Then I noticed the pony in the corner, hiding under her hooves again.

I sighed, "Look, either you stop being scared and get out, or I'm fixing the door and closing it again."

She bolted out of the shed and into the cottage. "Well that solves one question. Now to solve the ones I'll be pestered with later." And with that, I quickly pounded the hindges back in, and closed the door.

After making my way back to my gun, I noticed movment in the upstairs window.

"Looks like someone is curious about me." I called up to the window.

The curtains then suddenly moved. Like someone just ran away from them.

"Damn. Im not the handsomest man in the world, but I sure ain't that ugly!" I called up to the window again.

"Might as well scare someone into either pissing themselves, or to the point where they're so scared they become frozen in place." And with that, I went inside the cottage, closing the door behind me.

"Knowing how easily she couldn't open that shed door, I'm pretty sure I dont even have to lock this." I said, disappointed at the fact.

When I said that, I heard someone's feet/ hooves run across the floor above me.

"I just got an idea." I said with an evil smirk.

I took my rifle off my back and opened the case.

"Its been to long." Was all I could say at the gun. It was a Winchester Model 70 with an engraving on the forestock. It only said this, "May God Bless Those Who Fall Victim To This Beauty. They'll Need It." With idea still in mind I pulled back the bolt and noticed a blank in it.

"Well, that saves some trouble then. I was gonna shoot a buck and leave her a new hat. Oh well. Looks like I'll just partially deafen her." I said, disappointed by the fact I can't go shoot a buck now.

I took the gun with me as I walked up the stairs. I found all the doors closed. But I also knew the only one with a window. So I decided to do the only Jerk-like thing I could think of in this situation. I kick all the doors open. One by one. Slowly. Making sure my footsteps where heard. When I reached the last one, I heard crying.

"UGH! Fuck! I didn't mean to make her cry! ...well exept for that thing with the buck earlier. I was just... well, I don't know what I was thinking. Must be one of those consiquences Celestia said. And if thats the case, I should really think about my next move here..." I thought.

The crying continued behind the door. Each passing minute made me feel worse.

I sighed, "Listen, I'm sorry for scaring you. I don't know what I was thinking. Can you forgive me?" I said through the door in the kindest voice I could.

The crying got lighter after that. "Can I come in?" I asked.

I didn't hear a responce. All I heard was some hoofsteps on the other side. I was starting to wonder what she was doing when the door opened slighty.

"So I can come in?" I said, still wondering what exactly opening a door was suppost to do.

A highpitched mumble was all I heard. But my ears picked up every word.

"Well, thanks I guess." I said while opening the door.

When I was in the room, I saw her in the corner hiding behind her mane. I walked up to her as slowly as I could, and sat down right next to her so I could be at eye level with her. I gently turn her head to face me. Then I gently moved her mane to the side of her face, so it doesn't cover up her eyes. I tryed to soften the look in my eyes, and put on a smile.

"Listen, I found you in that forest over there knocked out. I brought you here in case you needed help. But I guess your doing fine on your own. I don't want to scare you anymore, so I'm just gonna go to into that village for some help. Can you take me there?" I asked, hoping to get her to actually like me some.

"Umm... I kinda have to feed the animals first. That is if you don't mind...." She said, just slightly above a wisper.

"Why would I mind? I'll go put this away," I said, pointing to my rifle."and then I'll help you!"

I quickly ran out of the room, hitting my head on the door frame on the way out.

"FU-" I started, but then I noticed Fluttershy right by my head making sure I was fine.

I quickly got rightback up, careful not to head my head on anything again. I quickly went back downstairs and put my gun back in its case.

"So, if my stuff I carried on me is right here, should the rest of my stuff still be in the forest?" I said to myself. Then I remembered the steak. "Oh... I shouldn't have brought that. That is only gonna cause me trouble. Wait. My steak! Nothing better touch them! Or at least they better hope I don't catch them anyway." I thought.

And with that, I hurried up and found Fluttershy. She was at the chicken coop feeding the chickens. Once the chickens saw me though, they imediatly ran and hid.

I sighed," I knew that would happen. The only thing that didn't run away was that rabbit."

Fluttershy quickly turned around with a look of worry in her eyes and looked right at me.

"What?" was all I said.

"Y-you didn't hurt him d-did you?"

"Him? Of course not. He's the one that told me you where in that shed."

"You understand him too? I thought I was the only one."

"Well that explains the suprised face he had when I did what he said. Oh yeah, I need to head off into the woods later. But would you mind leading me into town right now? After I get my something first though. I want to make sure I have something to protect myself with in case the people there act negativly at my appearance."

She shoot her head yes, and sat down to wait while I walked off to go get what I needed. Once I got there, I began to look for my rifle case again. I took out my rifle, and loaded in a couple cartriges. I then took out my knife again and this time straped it on the outside of my pants, to make sure nobody would attack me hopfully. I didn't want to use my weapons, but if I have to for my own or someone else's safety, then let it be done. After getting my rifle and my knife I walked back out to Fluttershy. Still decideing to act like I didn't know her, I decided to do something to try and befriend her.

"So, whats your name? You havn't really told me yet."

"Its umm... F-Fluttershy." she said. She almost sounded like she was trying to be quiet.

"Well, hello there Fluttershy." I said, suprising the little pony with the fact that I heard her. "Shall we get going now?"

"Oh. O-ok." Was all she said, and then she started to slowly walk to the village.

"So, you have any friends there you can introduce me to?" I said, trying to invoke her into introducing me to the rest of the mane six. It worked. She flew right up behind me and dragged me to the town. Babbling about Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, AppleJack, and Pinkie Pie the entire time.
