Chapter 1

Things have been getting old, well getting old is an understatement everything has been like this for years and I don’t know if I can take to much more of it. There has been only one thing that has been keeping me going for the past 2 years and that is My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I just turned 18 about two weeks ago and last week the second season of My Little Pony ended . Now I don’t know what I’m going to do till the next season comes out but for now I guess I will have to watch reruns.

My normal day is getting up and getting ready for my dead-end job. Then I walk to work which is about five miles away, and all I do all day is stack shelves and clean up spills and other messes. Apparently today is a special day because now I’m cleaning up the men’s restroom because someone missed the toilet when they went to vomit, dam I just love my life. “Will anything ever change?” I said under my breath. Now I’m finally on my way back home thank god, but on the way home I took a look up at the sky and I could tell is was getting ready to storm. “Just my luck.” I said just as it started to rain.

So I finally made it back home soaked to the bone but I didn’t care because I was home I was happy for a split second then it vanished. Because I realized… I was all alone. The reason I am alone is because my parents died last year in a car accident, but I was willed the house and my dad had just paid it off before he died. I was only 17 at the time but I was allowed to stay in the house under a court order by a judge but every so often someone from the state would come by and check up on me.

I took a shower and got cleaned up and dressed, then I went to the living room and I turned on my TV. “Would you look at that?” I said, it was a my little pony marathon on the hub channel. That brought my mood up a little and made me a little happy. I knew all of the episodes and this was season 1 episode 3 The Ticket Master. It is a good episode but after awhile the day started to get me and I could feel myself slipping off to sleep I wasn’t going to fight it I couldn’t there was no use.

I had a dream while asleep  it was nothing but colors just flying by me I felt like they were going by beyond the speed of light but how would I have know that since I don’t even know what the speed of light is but as fast as it started it was over. I could feel myself waking up but I couldn’t open my eyes quite yet but I could hear the voices of what sounded like twilight sparkle and apple jack but there was something wrong. I didn’t hear the whine of the TV it was so much clearer like they were standing right next to me.

Then I heard applejack say:” twilight what have you gone and done did now.”

Twilight:”I…I’m not sure how could this have had happened.”

I could slowly fell myself coming to I was almost awake and finally I opened my eyes but everything was a big blur. At that point I could hear applejack say:”uh oh twilight it looks like it is gettin up.” My vision was starting to focus and I could start to make out shapes and colors. All around I saw what looked like a light pink and what seemed to be in front of me looked like orange and purple blobs. I tried to speak but nothing was coming out but I could definitely   hear the voices and could tell who was speaking them but was this a dream or was it real…no it couldn’t be that is impossible. But as I sat there things were getting clearer and clearer. I could hear them whispering but I couldn’t make out what they were saying. Then I heard twilight she said:”um.. are you okay? If you lay back down maybe you will come to faster.”I couldn’t believe it but I listened to her and I laid back down and then I was out.

When I came back to I had a pillow under my head and I could still hear what sounded like twilight and apple jack whispering to one another. I went to open my eyes and I could finally see. I saw what looked like a wooden chandelier above me. As I looked around I saw books everywhere but it couldn’t be it looked like twilights library. But it couldn’t be its not possible. I sat up to get a better look of things. Once I sat up I saw twilight and applejack at first I was stunned and it looked like they were as well at first their eyes were large and wide but started to shrink and get smaller. From what I saw it looked like twilight shook off her astonishment first and started to walk towards me. And then she said:”um…ah are you alright?” My jaw had already dropped it felt like it dropped with such force that I thought it was dislocated, but I nodded my head as I was all right I felt no pain so I assumed everything was ok. At that point twilights eyes got so big it looked like they were about to explode. Then while I was still dumbfounded twilight turned around and grabbed applejack and started jumping up and down spinning around the room.

Once she stopped and calmed down a bit I tried to ask her a question. But I didn’t get that chance as twilight was now in my face just staring at me. I’m not going to lie I felt really creeped out, but I had to ask this question so I forced myself to ask it:”where am I? I said, Then twilights gaze got even deeper as she then squealed real loud and said:”oh my celestia it talks I can’t believe it can talk!”I then asked her again:”where am I please tell me I need to know?” Then she finally answered my question:”you are in the land of equestria.” She said ,I couldn’t believe what she just said, I was stunned I didn’t move I don’t even think I blinked. Then out of nowhere I was hit with a massive headache, it was so bad that I rolled over and grasped my throbbing head and I could hear my heart beat it was so loud it was almost deafening.

During this whole episode with everything going on I could still tell that applejack was still standing there speechless. But as I was still lying there grasping my head I opened my eyes and saw twilight standing there she looked scared but I knew I had to say something to calm her down so with what little strength I had I told her:” I… I am going to be ok it’s just that right now my head hurts.” Right after I said that I saw the worrying look leave her face.

Finally my head stop hurting and I sat back up and looked around again, I looked over and stared at applejack and I said:”you’re apple jack right?”and then right after I looked at twilight and said:”you’re twilight sparkle right?”twilight then said:”yes my name is twilight sparkle, but how did you know that?”I looked at her and said:”umm I don’t know maybe just a lucky guess I suppose.” But I was lying I didn’t want to tell her I saw her on a show in my world. So then I tried to change the subject, but just as I was about to apple jack walked up to me and said:”y…yes my name is apple jack but I still don’t understand how you know our names.” I looked at her and said:”I’m not sure how I know them either.”

So as quick as I could I changed the subject and said:”do you all have something I could possibly have to eat?” But that was true because I was very hungry because I had nothing to eat before I ended up here, and well I was starving. Now I know most people would be like oh how rude can someone possibly be but I mean come on cut me some slack. Twilight then bolted out of the room and into the next, I could hear things being shuffled around and what sounded like things crashing to the floor. While all of that was going on I looked over at applejack and I could tell there was something wrong.” Apple jack is there something wrong?” I said, she then looked at me and said:” I…I’m sorry I froze up on a count of seen ya and all.” I then noticed she was crossing her forelegs like she was embarrassed, I would have never guessed that apple jack could be embarrassed. Then I said:” it’s alright I would hav….” I stopped once I could no longer see apple jack because in between us was twilight standing there  with what looked like flowers, “here eat these daisies.” She said, with a more than joyful look on her face. ”umm….i can’t eat those.” I said, with a surprised look on my face, she then asked with a broken voice, “why can’t you eat daisies?” I wasn’t trying to be rude but I wasn’t sure if a human should flowers at all. I then said, ”I…I’m not too sure if I can eat them, I don’t know what it might do to me.” Twilight then sat down and slumped over not sure what to do, from what I could read from her. “here what about this.” Apple jack said abruptly. She stuck out her hoof and on it rest the most delicious looking apple I had ever seen, it was bright red, shinny, and so clean I could literally see my own reflection it. “that looks amazing!” I said taking the apple from her hoof. Twilight then looked back up happy as can be, I guess because there was something here I could eat on this world. As I was about to take my first bite I felt some drool run down the side of my chin, I quickly wiped it off smiling. I then took a bite and it felt like my taste buds went to heaven, it was so cool inside almost like it was in a fridge and so crisp it was popping and snapping as I chewed and the juices that came out of it were like nothing I have ever tasted. As then twilight and apple jack looked at each other and smiled.
