Chapter 12

We made our way to the hospital, making it there in no time. Once we got there we ran for the room Andrew was in, while we were running for the room doctors tried to stop us till they saw who we were. Once we made it to the hall he was down we could hear doctors yelling at each other what needed to be done to help him. Then when we made it to his room the, door was closed.

I opened the door and froze at the sight that was taking place in front of me. Then once Twilight got a look she fainted from what was going on. Andrew was lying there convulsing and jumping around in his bed. The doctors were trying to hold him down; I saw they were trying to put some kind of liquid in his IV. But it was doing nothing for him. Every machine they had him hooked to was starting to glitch out from everything that was taking place in his body.

At least when I got out of being stunned by the sight I saw I noticed that Scootaloo wasn’t in the room any longer. They must have taken her out of the room once it started. I surely wouldn’t want her to see this. That’s when I heard the pitter patter of little hooves coming towards the room I looked out and saw that it was Scootaloo running for the room to see her dad. “SCOOTALOO! Stop running and stay there!” I said quickly. She stopped instantly, “Why, I want to see my dad?” she said. “Scootaloo your dad would not want you to see him like this so please just stay there.” Once I said that I could tell she knew it was bad.

She started to cry and her face went pale. So I left the room and went to comfort her because I knew she was having an emotional breakdown. I don’t think I would ever feel what she was going through now. But then behind me I heard, “WERE LOSING HIM, GET READY FOR RESEATATION!” then Scootaloo broke out of my legs and darted towards the room. Before I could even turn around she was in the room. Once I got to the room I could see her crawling up on the bed.

Before I could get to her she had herself wrapped around his neck holding on for dear life. “Daddy please stop, don’t do this, Please stop daddy.” But I knew asking wasn’t going to do anything as I walked over to her. “DADDY PLEASE STTTTOOOOPP!” she screamed. It felt like it shook the world once she screamed.

I then looked in awe at what was happening his convulsing had slowed down and his vitals were returning to normal. All the doctors in the hospital couldn’t help Andrew but his own Daughter was slowly bringing him back. “Could her love for him and his love for her really be that strong?” I asked myself. Eventually he stopped convulsing and his vitals were back to normal.

“Scootaloo he’s back to normal now.” I said but she wouldn’t let go of him. “I’m not leaving him again or the same thing might happen so I am staying here.” She said still crying. I just nodded at what she wanted. Once the doctors gave him a check over they left the room. I stayed in the room with Scootaloo to make sure she was ok.

It has been ten days now since he went unconscious. Everyponys morale for him is dropping. Today everypony took the day off to come and sit with him. We were all sitting there talking about things that Andrew has done for us all. While we were talking Twilight had laid her head on my shoulder and had fallen asleep.

While we were talking I noticed a beeping getting faster very slowly but I ignored it and went back to talk with everypony. But it only got louder and faster, I looked over at Andrew with Scootaloo lying on his chest. Then I saw that he was starting to convulse slowly. “Everypony he is about to start his convulsing again.” I said. They looked over in fear of what was about to start. Then it happened he was now convulsing even worse than the last time.

“Momma do you hear that?” Dinky asked Ditzy. “Yes muffin I hear the beeping.” She said with tears welling up in her eyes as she witnessed her boyfriend looking like he was about to die in front of her. “No momma, that voice it almost sounds like Andrews.” She said. Everypony looked over at her quickly. “What does it sound like he is saying Dinky?” Ditzy asked. “It sounds like he is saying ‘help me’ but he sounds really tired.” Once she said that everypony bursted into tears. “Umm, momma he is asking me to put my horn on his head.” Dinky said. “Are you sure that’s what he is saying muffin?” Ditzy asked.

“Yes momma, he’s sounds like he is in pain now.” Dinky said. Then without anypony noticing, Dinky walked over to Andrew and jumped up on the bed. She was getting ready to put her horn against his head. “Dinky no don’t do it!” I said trying to get to her before her horn touched. But it was too late she touched her horn to his head. There was an explosion of light before I could get to her.

Dinky was now glowing with endless energy pouring from her, but it went away before she opened her eyes. Andrew had stopped shaking and was now lying still once more. “Momma I could see Andrew and what he was doing, it looked like he was in a maze.” Dinky said after she stood up. “Dinky did he tell you anything?” Ditzy asked. “Yeah momma he told me he was lost and that he needs help.” Dinky said.

“Did he say what he needed help with muffin?” Ditzy asked. “Well no but in front of him in the maze I saw three signs, he was just staring at them and slightly crying.” Dinky said. “Dinky did you see what the signs said?” I asked. “Yeah I saw the first word on each sign, the first one said happiness, the second one said love, and the last one said serenity. Each one also had what looked like a name but I was gone before I got to see them.” Dinky explained.

‘Andrew could it be that you are only allowed to choose one? Or can you make your own destiny?’ I thought to myself. “Does anypony else feel that?” Luna asked. Everypony stopped for a moment to see what she was talking about. “Yeah I feel it, it-it feels so warm.” Fluttershy said. Then Scootaloo looked over at Andrew. “Everypony look!” Scootaloo said pointing to her father. Everypony looked over to see him glowing in a light blue flame.

“Scootaloo no don’t touch him!” I said. But it was too late once again, she touched him. “Everypony come here and feel this, it’s so warm and comforting, and it feels like he is here cradling me in his arms.” Scootaloo said. Then Everypony there got up and went over to the bed and put a hoof on Andrew. “Scootaloo you’re right it feels like he’s here.” Said Rainbow Dash.

As everypony felt his presence it brought memories back to them, and how he did things for everypony. While everypony was starting to release their emotions nopony noticed that the flame aura around him was growing in size. Then while everypony was crying he started to float off of the bed. The tears from his friends were floating around him in mid air. Once their hooves slipped off of him they notice he was now floating. Everypony let out a gasp once they saw him floating above them.

Their tears were following him into the air. Scootaloo and Dinky were now jumping up and down in excitement. At what was happening before them while the others just stared in awe. Then the tears all formed together glowing like the sun itself. Then Andrew was adjusted into a standing position and the orb of tears split apart and started to swirl around him at outstanding speeds. Everypony was still crying without even knowing they were. Then the tears were absorbed into Andrew and his eyes opened quickly, then he looked around the room. Then he stared at Celestia.

“CELESTIA HAVE YOU DONE THE DEED YOU WERE MENT TO DO!!!” with a voice that put the royal Canterlot voice to shame. She nodded then his eyes closed and he fell back onto the bed. “What just happened, and did it just really happen?” Celestia asked. “Y…Y-Yes Celestia it just happened I knew you did it but I wanted to have a little fun with you.” I said. Then I got trampled by everypony in a death hug. “DADDY I’M SO GLAD YOU ARE OK!” Scootaloo screamed. “………….” I couldn’t say anything because there was no air in my lungs because of the hug.

After they released their death grip and I got some air in my lungs I was able to talk. “Well I can see I was missed rather badly, and I’m sorry for everything I have put you all through but it had to be done.” I said in a remorseful tone, but I don’t think they even heard me for all of their nonstop crying. “Ok where is my little girl I want a big hug?” then in an instant I saw her soaring through the air straight at me. “DADDY!” she screamed as she wrapped around my neck.

“Thank you for staying by my side while I was sleeping, I could sense you were there and I could hear you talking to me every night” I said as I hugged her a little harder. I also couldn’t help but cry at the sight of my friends and everypony being here for me, and my sweet little daughter. “Ok what are we doing today?” I asked. The room went silent, and then Everypony started to laugh. “What are we doing nothing today?” I said. “Duh of course not you just woke up from a coma.” Rainbow said sarcastically.

“You all do know I am fine right, I wasn’t really in a coma, I was just trying to find a path to my body since I drained my life energy so much I had to take control of it again, that is why I would shake so much. Every time I almost slipped away I lost contact with my body then I had to fight to get back to it, but now that my body is healed and I’m mentally fit again I’m ready to go. Besides I have something’s I need to do for the path that I choose.” I said standing up. “Oh and Rarity would it be too much work to make me some new clothes but this time I would also like Apple Blooms, Sweetie Belles, and Scootaloos cutie marks on it as well if that wouldn’t be a problem.” I said and she nodded.

“Well right now all I have is this makeshift hospital gown, so would you mind if we did that now?” I asked. “Oh I would love to do it now, would anypony else like to come?” Rarity asked while I just face palmed. Because I knew that they would all want to go, and they all did want to go. On the way out of the room I felt somepony jump on me and take me to the ground, and then I was assaulted with kisses on my lips. “Ditzy…what…are…you…doing…?” I said only getting out a single word in between each kiss. I’m not going to lie I missed it so I let her keep going.

Once the kissing episode was over we made it to Raritys. When we went in Rarity double checked my measurements to make sure I didn’t change any during the whole episode, which I didn’t change at all. Then in a matter of minutes it was ready and it looked even better than the last one. Then I pulled Rarity aside. “Rarity I’m going to be needing a wedding tux here soon, do you think you could make me one sometime?” I asked. “Well of course dear that wouldn’t be a problem, but one thing who is getting married?” she asked looking at me puzzled. “You know them very well is all I’m going to say.”

Then when I put my clothes on I walked out to show everypony Raritys work. “What time is it?” I asked. “It is almost time for me to raise the moon.” Luna said. “Where is a good place we can go to watch the moon rise and camp out for the night?” I asked. Everypony just looked at me like I was crazy. “We could always go to Mt.Aurora it was named after our mother.” Said Luna. I just looked at her. “Umm yeah lets go there.” I said quickly. “So who all wants to go?” I asked. Duh of course everypony wanted to go watch Luna raise the moon.

We all decided that we were going to walk there and take our time and so I could also catch up on what has been going on. While we were about half way there the kids had gotten tired so I carried them the rest of the way up. Once we reached the top I saw just how beautiful it was, it looked out over some of Equestria but it wasn’t freezing but it had a slight chill. “So this is Mt.Aurora, your alls mom must be beautiful.” I said in awe of the magnificent view. “She was.” Luna said. I could tell that this was getting Luna upset. “Alright let’s split up the chores that need to be done unless you just want me to summon it all up. I could tell by the looks on everyponys face that they were tired so I just summoned everything we needed. “Apple Jack I know you usually play the guitar but let me have a shot at it if you wouldn’t mind.”I said. “Of course not Andrew here.” She said handing me the guitar.

“So what kind of music would we like?” I asked. “How about something slow and calming since we have been worried to death about you.” Twilight said. Then I looked over at Sweetie Belle, “If you would start me off please.” I asked. She looked at me and thought for a moment and started to sing a song that she had just made up. I quickly harmonized with her, with her voice and the sound of the guitar I knew that if this wasn’t calming to somepony they were crazy.

After we played for awhile it was time for Luna to raise the moon. “Luna let’s see what you can do, I know every night you make is Beautiful but I want this night to hit me hard because I want to remember it, ok.” She smiled and nodded and she took off, but when she did I could see a tear in her eye getting ready to fall down her cheek. I could tell that a tear like that was one of joy from what I had said to her. Then I started to play some background music with the guitar while everypony talked.

Then I heard Luna say she was about to raise it so I told everypony and we watched in anticipation. Then off in the horizon I slowly saw it start to creep into the sky. Then I had noticed the sky that Luna had made this night. It was amazing in every way shape and form the stars were burning brighter than ever before, and the moon was close and bright as it rose up into the sky. Then Luna came and sat next to me to admire her work. While everypony was staring into the sky I looked over at her. Her long blue mane blowing in the wind even though there was none, her eyes concentrated on the sky looking at the night she just made.

While everypony was still looking I pulled myself closer to her. She didn’t notice that I had gotten closer. Then I leaned in to her ear, “Luna this has to be one of the most remarkable nights I have ever seen, you are like an artist and your canvas is the entire sky, what I’m saying is you did one heck of a job to night. You also look beautiful under your own night sky, but there is something I didn’t notice before, you have a magnificent glow to you tonight only increasing your beauty that much more.” I said and pulled away so I could look at her. She had a light blush already on her face.

Then without saying a word I pulled her in with a kiss, I felt like I could stay like that the rest of the night, but I knew it wouldn’t last but I wish it could. Then after awhile I broke the kiss leaving her gasping for air. “Ok everypony who’s up for some smores?” I asked then they all turned back to look at me like they were going to jump me if I didn’t have the stuff to make them. But luckily I had brought plenty. So we all started to roast our marshmallows over the fire. While we sat there Rarity, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash retired to their tents and called it a night.

While we sat there and talked I saw that Ditzy and Dinky were about to go to bed. Then Dinky ran over to me and jumped on to me and gave me a hug, “Good night Andrew, see you tomorrow.” She said half asleep. Then I gave her a kiss on her forehead, “Good night sweetie, see you tomorrow.” Then I blew a kiss to Ditzy who just giggled and went into the tent. Then I lay on the ground to look up at the sky and the girls lay on top of me and were asleep in not time.

So I put them all in a tent to let them sleep. Then I came back over and sat between Luna and Celestia. Once I did that Twilight and Fluttershy went to bed. “Ok I hope you all don’t mind me asking but is your mother and father umm well…” I tried to ask. “Yes Andrew they have both moved on to a better place.” Celestia said. “I’m so sorry, umm when did they… move on?” I asked. “It was five hundred years ago.” Celestia said. “Hold on so it was when nightmare moon was banished to the moon?” then Luna started to cry, I grabbed her in a hug and tried to calm her.

“So she had been in the moon for five hundred years when they went?” I asked. “Yes, but I don’t know how they did. I had a telepathic connection to them, I heard mom scream for a split second and the connection was gone. After that I knew they were gone.” Celestia said looking up into the sky. “I…I…I had a fi…fight with her before…she…she…died.” I could tell that this was tearing at the insides of Luna but I didn’t know what to do to help her. So all I did was squeeze her tighter and held her closer. “Luna I’m so sorry, I should have never brought up the topic.” I said with tears streaming down my checks. “No Andrew I’m glad you brought it up I needed to release what I have stored inside of me for so long. So thank you.” She said.

Then while I sat there holding Luna, Celestia retired to her tent as well letting me take care of her. So I picked up Luna and took us to another part of the mountain to get a better look at the beautiful night sky she had made. After I found the perfect spot I sat her down and I laid beside her. Once I laid down she put her head on my chest to relax. “I’m not trying to make you remember things but what did you fight with her about?” I asked while stroking her mane. “We fought about how I always had to make the night sky and raise the moon every night, and I told her how no pony likeed my night and everypony loved the day, but that is all I remember because after that I flew off.” Luna said with her voice cracking. “Luna if I could take you back in time to talk to her or if I could single out her soul so you could talk to her would you do it?” I asked still stroking her mane. After I said that she just stared at me and I just looked back at her. “If you don’t want to I understand, but if you are scared that it will hurt me again I promise that this time it wouldn’t hurt me because I would only be using one spell this time.” I said quickly.

“Andrew even if you did take me back I wouldn’t know what to say to her.” She said staring up at the night sky. “That is the good part you don’t need to have skit to say to her just let it come from the heart.” I said giving her a hug. “So do you want to do it?” I asked giving her a peck on her cheek. “Yeah I want to do it.” She said giving me a kiss. “So at what point in time do you want to talk to her?” I asked. “I want to go back to a year after I was banished to the moon.” She said. “Ok I can do that, are you ready?” I said standing up. She nodded. So I started to channel the spell. “Ok here we go.” I said finishing the spell.

Then we popped into the old castle, because Canterlot hasn’t even been made yet. There in front of us stood her mom. She was beautiful, she was white with a hint of purple and orange, almost like a sunset. She was looking straight at us like she was about to attack, and she did. She was charging at her, so I had to do what I had to do so I held her in place. Once I did that she called for her husband. “Wow really am I going to have to freeze him as well or will you just listen to me?” I said as he started to fly towards me. So I froze him in place as well.

“Ok will you all just listen to me, I’m here from the future and I brought your alls Daughter Luna from the future as well.” Once I said that their eyes got big. Then Luna popped her head around from my back to see her parents. Luna started to run to them so I let them go. Then Luna jumped into them and they all just hugged each other, all I could do at this point is smile. They all cried as they got to see their Daughter that in this time was now banished to the moon. “So now that everypony has been reunited may we talk to you?” I asked walking towards them. But they just glared at me and Luna noticed. “Easy now, Andrew brought me here because he wanted me to make amends with you mother, that and he is the most powerful mage in Equestria right now noponys magic can even compare, not even me or Celestia that is why we are taking lessons from him.” she said in my defense.

Then her mom started to walk over to me. Not going to lie I was a little scared, until she jumped at me and hugged me as I fell to the ground. I could feel her tears running down my cheek. “Thank you so much for bringing her to us at this time.” All I did was hug her back and said, “It is no problem at all and I’m glad you are happy.” Then her dad started to trot over, she got up off of me and I stood up. He stuck out a hoof to shake my hand but once I grabbed his hoof he embraced me in a hug thanking me that I had brought her to them. “Well we have come for a reason because Luna would like to say something but first may we sit down?” I asked. “Of course come into the living room with us.” Her mom said.

So once we followed them into the living room which was about the size of a normal house, we sat down, her parents on a couch on one side of a table and Luna and I on the other side. “So Luna what did you want to talk about, but before you answer I have a question for Andrew? Andrew how many years are you from in the future?” she asked quizzically. “Well, we are in the past one year after nightmare moon was banished to the moon, from here on we are from one thousand and one years in the future.”I answered. “So what are we like in the future?” he asked.

All I could do is look over at Luna and hold my breath, but before I could say anything Luna spoke first, “You all died five hundred years before I got out of the moon.” She said with no emotion. “Umm…Uhhh…how did we die?” her mom asked. Luna could no longer talk and was hugging me and crying into my shoulder. “Well I know exactly when and what time you died but I don’t know how or where you died.” I said stroking Luna’s mane to calm her down.

“Umm ok now that we know we will eventually meet our demise what do you want to talk about Luna.” Her father asked. Finally I had gotten Luna calmed down and she turned to talk to them. “Well Andrew brought me here because of the fight me and mother had last year, so I could say that I’m sorry mom I never wanted to get into a fight with you and I’m sorry for talking back all of the time, I’m also sorry that I said I hate the night and that so does every other pony, Andrew made me realize how beautiful the night really is, he says he loves my night so much, he compliments me every time he see me after I make it night. Just like before we came here we were on Mt.Aurora looking at the night sky I had made before we came here.” She said running to her mom only to be stopped by her embrace. They stayed like that for hours as her dad took me on a tour of the castle.

“I must say this is a really nice castle sir.” I said but the way I said it sounded terrible. “Why thank you Andrew, I actually have a question for you. Is my Luna married to anypony yet in the future?” he asked with a stern voice. “Well no sir neither is Celestia they are both unmarried at this point in time.” I said quickly. “Well Celestia does have…well…she has a marefirend.” I said getting ready for an outburst to come from him, but all he did was laugh and smile. “Thank goodness she is finally with somepony.” She said happily. While I was trying to come back from brain freezing up.

“Well sir I actually have a question for you but I want to ask you in the future if you would allow me to save you from your fate?” I asked. “Well usually I’m against changing the fate of somepony but I’m pretty sure my wife would love to see my little girls get married some day. So I will allow you to change our fate.” He said hanging his head down. “Ok well four hundred and ninety nine years and two days from now stay with Celestia no matter what the day before and the day after stay with her 24/7 ok, promise me you will because I want you both to see your girls special day.” I said sternly. “Andrew I promise on those days me and my wife will stay with Celestia.”

“Also before I take Luna and myself back. After I have been in the hospital for the tenth day you and your wife go to Mt.Aurora at midnight, ok.” I said. And he agreed so I went back to Luna and her mother they were talking and holding each other’s hooves. “Well Luna are you ready to go back to the present?” after I said that she looked at me and nodded. She then gave her mom and dad a good bye hug like it was the last time she was going to see them but I knew she was going to see them soon once we got back. “Andrew thank you for bringing her back to see us thank you so much.” Luna’s mom said hugging me, and her dad nodded at me. “Ok well it has been an amazing time coming back to the past to meet you all so thank you for your hospitality.” I said pulling Luna close to me as she waved goodbye. While she was still waving I started to channel the spell to take us back. Then in a flash we were back in the present.

“Everypony wake up I have something to show you all!” I screamed……
