Love, Life, School, Friendship...
I'm flying in the air, seeing the whole world below me from New York City, to Miami. I do some sharp turns I feel free.
"Elijah!" I look around to find a building that I hit hard...
"Ahh!" I'm sweating hard I look over to see my mom.
"Good Morning mom..." I say yawning and stretching.
"Elijah, you always do this stay up so late, and don't get up in the morning! It's 6:30!"
"Oh my god! It's 6:30!" I get up and start running to my closet find some sweatshirt and some random pair a jeans. I then rush to brush my teeth and my hair.
"Elijah slow down you're going to hit-" I run into my sister's door that she opened..."-the door..." She sighs.
"Oww!" Felicia looks down at me.
"Are you okay?" She asked. Her hair was a mess, she had makeup smeared all over, and she was sweating even harder than me. I could tell she was with Tony last night.
"I'm fine." I get up brush myself off before running to my bag, packing it with the necessities like: my PC, Phone, Beats, and school stuff.
"Don't forget your lunch, Elijah!"
"I won't, Mom!" I quickly grabbed my lunch bag, and give my mom a kiss
"Bye!" I grab the keys to my Dodge Dart-that I got after my dad died. I jumped in, and touched my dads photo, it was kinda a ritual it gave me hope about today. I turned on the car and drove off to school.
(Block 1- Teachers Ms.Fluttershy- Math)
I run into the class and quickly sit down where I rummage through my bag, looking for my homework.
"No!" I left it at home which wasn't normal for me to do.
"Alright class time to turn in your homework..." We could almost never hear her, she was very shy, but was one of the nicest teachers in the school. I look over at Nia her homework was blank.
"Here let me help you with that Nia." She looks at me and blushes. She was just as shy as Ms.Fluttershy, but very honest and sweet... I kinda have a crush on her.
"Thanks Elijah..." I helped her answer the math questions, it was not that hard, just some geometry proofs.
"Nia if you need help just text me okay I can help you." Nia wasn't really good at this subject so I would help her out some of the questions.
"I know..." Fluttershy walks up to our desk
"Do you two have the homework?"
"No, Ms. Fluttershy. I don't, but Nia does, I left mine at home because I rushed out..."
"It's fine. Make sure you turn it in tomorrow so you can get a grade or else." I grab out my notepad, and write it down as one of the ten things I needed to do today and tomorrow.
"Thank you." She walks away and turns on the projector. She and Mac begin the lesson. Behind me I see my other friend Bernard sleeping in class again.
"Bernard..." Fluttershy said.
"Huh...what?" Great he's in trouble again.
"You were asleep again, this is the third time this week. You have run out of warnings, next time is a referral..."
"No please, I was up all night at the rescue mission helping the poor." He's not lying, he would do that. Once he was so generous he gave two hundred thousand dollars to a poor guy on the street.
"Okay, but try to get some sleep." He nods and starts paying attention to the lesson.
(Block 2- Rarity- Homeroom)
Zia and I sit in our usual seats next to each other.I help her with her homework. We were working on some more proofs, then Steven started to do magic tricks-which were cool and stuff.He was better at it then Trixie.
"Now for my first trick, I will have the teacher's phone in my hand!" There was a sarcastic ‘ooh’ in the air, Nia whispers to me.
"Is he really going to do it?"
"I don't know probably..." Mrs.Rarity was on her phone talking to Spike, her husband.
"Okay watch her phone closely...Alakazam!" her phone disappeared in thin air, we were all taken a back.
“Ha ha very funny now give me my phone!” she said. We never tried to mess with her because she could punch hard.
“Alright.” he gives her the phone, and sits back down, then flashes a twenty dollars bill,
"Dude, give it back."
"No, Eli, it's mine now."
"Ugh...I got it..." He pulls out a twenty and gives it to Rarity. Who doesn't accept it, and then she pulled out a twenty and started to argue about who's getting their twenty.
"You can be a jerk sometimes, Steven, you know that?" He may have grown up in the nicest part California, but he wasn't the nicest guy around.
"Ha, I always know Eli, I always know."
(Block 4/5-Twilight-Chemistry)
“Is EVERYONE here today? NO one is in the bathroom smoking pot right?”
The whole class said in unison. “Yes…”
My Chemistry class has some interesting people. Take for instance, Treyvon he likes to snort anything from sugar to cinnamon, if it’s a powder he will try to snort it.
“I never liked this class..” whispered Lea. Lea isn't the kind of person to listen to reason. She always went into a situation head first without thinking, just like out P.E. teacher Rainbow Dash but if there's a fight and it involves her friends she will back them up the whole time.
“Why? We have a nice teacher and it’s fun blowing things up and all.”
“Yeah, but it’s just the people in it they either care and try to pass or don’t care, and there’s only a few people in the class that cares.”
“And who might that be?” I asked sarcastically.
“Well everyone at this table and Lily!” I laugh. At my table there’s me, Bernard, Lea, Terrence, and Li, across from us was Lily.
Mrs.Twilight passed out packets for our final lab: mixing Hydrochloric Acid and water, very dangerous because the acid will kill you. There have been stories about people actually dying in class, so we made sure not to mess around.
“Okay, carefully Bernard, don’t shake the acid too much.” he slowly pours it into the water, this is literally terrifying if one of us screws up a tiny bit and we’re all doomed.
“Done…” we all sighed in relief.
“Wow that was close…” BOOM! There was a small explosion in the class, and we all got under the table.
“Who was that?” asked Li, terrified about what just happened. I look up to see Rahime, Jacob, and Tyler laughing and I see Lily hiding under the desk, scared out of her mind. I crawl over and brought her back over to our table she was shivering.
“Calm down Lily…” I held her close and she calmed. Lily wasn’t a bad girl she was smart, funny, and nice, but she was almost scared of everything. The fire department came in and put out the small fire the three made, then they were all taken to principle Celestia’s office.
“Well that was eventful…” we all got up and packed our bags to head to lunch.
(Block 6- Lunch)
"So what's the food trade market doing?" asked Steven sarcastically.
"Fine, pudding is on the rise." I pull out a Gatorade, a peanut butter sandwich with some grapes and a pack of pudding and I started to eat the sandwich.
(A few minutes later…)
"Well, if you consider, it we could have a worse President." Bernard said, explaining to Lea.
"Yeah, but still I despise him." she agreed.
"Are you two still on the same topic? Here, let me change the subject." I grabbed my Mac and checked my emails. I found the one I was looking for, the one that had an invite. "Guys I have been invited to Amy's Party." They all looked at me with shock.
"The most popular girl in school, but how!?" asked Steven.
"Well I helped her once ,and she remembered, and I was invited...and I can bring friends!"
"Really! That's awesome." said Lea, excited. But Nia was a bit hesitant, she never was friends with Amy, they used to compete for everything. Then Nia grew up, and stopped competing with her but, Amy treated everything against her like a competition.
"I'm not sure about this, Eli..." she said.
"Don't worry Nia, it's going to be fine."
"Alright, Eli..." she agreed hesitatingly.
"So, about transportation, I will pick up Nia, Steven pick up Lily, and Lea will pick up Bernard."
"Steven, did you clean your car?" asked Lily.
"What ‘ole faithful?"
"Dude, you need to clean the M3." He drives a 1999 BMW M3, it's on it's last legs it's still chugging on...somehow.
"Yes, please. The last time I was in there I found pizza under the seat...and you ate it." We all shivered at the thought of it.
"Okay! I'll clean it...geez."
(Block-7 P.E-Rainbow Dash)
"Alright maggots! I want you to run three laps around the track!"
"She's in a good mood, usually we would run seven laps." Nia said. I laughed.
"Yeah, Nia, that's a big surprise!" We both laughed "Now about tonight, what time should I pick you up at?"
“Pick me up at around five o’clock and don’t be late!” I smile at her and she blushes.
“You know I’m never late.” I look into her eyes and we started to drift forward.
“Yeah…” we were getting closer by the seconds.
“HEY! LOVEBIRDS!” yelled Rainbow, I pulled away quickly.
“Yes, Mrs.Dash?!” I was blushing more and more. Rainbow walked up to us.
“While you two were close to kissing, everyone has started their laps. Do you want to do five?”
“Umm...no please.” I was completely red.
“Then get your butts in gear!” we both get up and start running.
“She’s nuts…” said Nia.
“Yeah but she’s nice and loyal, anyways, pick you up at five?”
“Definetly!”
(Later on-4:30)
I was sitting in my car ,waiting for Nia to walk out, so I just sat in my car and listened to some Madeon.
“Elijah!” I look over at the window to see Nia in a dress with no makeup, because she really hates makeup. I roll down the window.
“Hi!” she looked at me with an irritated look
“I was here for fifteen minutes…” I unlock the door and she gets in.
“Sorry...you know you look beautiful…” she blushes.
“Really? I do?”
“Yeah…” we started to lean in…
“Nia! Have a good time honey!” we pull away quickly.
“Yes Ma…” Her mom walks back inside.
“So...I guess we should be going now…”
“Yeah...I guess so…” The drive there was a bit awkward for Nia and I. We didn’t talk we just listen to some music until we arrived where the music was loud and the alcohol was everywhere, we met up with the gang at the entrance.
“So, here we are guys, the most popular party in school…” Nia held my hand and looked at me. She was very nervous and worried.
“Don’t worry, we’ll be fine…” Bernard opened the door, and the smell of a gym and alcohol hit us like a brick wall.
“WOW! Now that’s a smell!” said Steven before running straight in.
“Steven!” Lea runs after him into the jungle of drunk kids.
“This isn’t going to end well, is it?” asked Lily, a bit hesitant about going in. Bernard held her hand.
“Don’t worry, everything will go fine, I got you.” They both walk in to the house.
“Well you ready, Eli?”
“I’m always ready Nia, and if anything happens just yell for me, okay?”
“Okay...I will, but promise me you will come if I do yell.”
“Cross my heart Nia...Cross my heart.” Like that we walked in, where we were flooded by the smell of alcohol in the air.
“Wow, this smell…”
“Hey!” I turn around to see a drunk Troy.
“Troy...you’re drunk…” he stumbled toward us.
“Hey...I don’t see that...you are…” he begins to sway.
“Troy I think you should go home…” he looked at me irritated.
“What are you…my mother…” he swings the bottle at us.
“Just go home…”
“NO!” he stumbles off outside to Lea, where she punches him straight in the jaw.
“Stay away from me, Troy!” she looked very uncomfortable, and seemed out of place.
“Nia, stay here, okay?”
“Okay, what’s wrong?”
“Lea is being awkward again…” I walk over to her.
“Hey Lea.” she looked at me, her red highlight hitting me in the face.
“Yeah…” she held her arm and was very anxious.
“Go find Steven...you need him.” she looked at me.
“No...I don’t need Steven...he’s a jerk…”
“Yeah, but you like him and see the good in him...help him discover it.” she smiles at me.
“You know how to make a girl happy, you know that…”she hugs me and runs off to find Steven, I turn around to see Amy with a drunk Tyler standing in front of Nia.
“Great...just great.” I start to walk over to her, then Amy walked away and the crowd followed.I saw Tyler reach for Nia’s skirt, I started to run over to them.
“Elijah!” I run harder to her and I finally reached them. I grabbed Tyler’s arm and twisted it, my instincts kicking in.
“Hey!’’ he swings at me and misses then stumbles a few steps. He turns around and smashes the bottle in his hand. He then starts walking forward, I get in a stance and prepare for the worst.
“Look Tyler I don’t want to fight you.” he moves closer and closer every second.
“Ha! You’ve been asking for it...AHHH!” he charges towards me. When he got close enough I jump and give him a roundhouse kick into his face. He hit’s the ground like a sack of potatoes.
“I’m sorry…” I walk over to a terrified Nia, she hugged me and started to cry.
“He was going to do things to me Elijah...terrible things…” I held her close.
“Don’t worry it’s over now…” she looks up at me with her hazel eyes. I see the love in her eyes, I lean in and kiss her it felt warm and sweet. I feel my love for her burn like the sun and all my worries melt away, then I start to pull away from her.
“I kinda had a crush on you Eli ..” I could feel the world just stop around us, and it feels like it’s just Nia and I..
“I kinda have a crush on you too…” she giggled and I start taking her to my car away from the madness they call a party.
‘‘ELIJAH! WE AREN'T DONE YET!” I turn to see Tyler bloody and furious.
“Nia, run!” we both start to sprint to the car.
“YOU AREN’T GETTING AWAY!” he ran to his car a 2005 Ford Mustang. I start my car up and start driving away we passed the traffic lights and they were yellow and then red we were on the other side of the intersection when I look at the rear view I see his car and a tractor trailer...BANG! his car hit the Trailer with force I stopped the car and turned it around to the crash. I get out my car and help the guy in the tractor trailer get out then I ran towards Tyler’s car it was on fire, I run to his door and tried to pull him out...he was stuck
“No I’m not losing you Tyler!”
“Save...yourself…”I started to cry.
“No! you have a whole life in front of you.”
“JUST GO GODDAMIT!”I moved back some feet and watched the raging inferno reach the gas line
“Good bye…”BOOM the car exploded.
“NO! TYLER!” The emotions of anger and sadness came over me.
“Eli calm down!” I look at her she had fear in her eyes I stopped and I just sat there in the middle of the street crying thinking about how could I just let a person die without even trying...and watch them die...

(Block-1 Ms. Fluttershy-Math)
It's been a week since Tyler died and during the week Elijah has been beating himself up about it I've been trying to keep his mind off it but it's been slowly eating away at him we haven't had our first date so I might use as a way to get it off his mind. I walk into the class and sit in my usual seat "Damn! I forgot to do my homework...why?" Elijah sits next to me getting his homework I don't want to seem like a nuisance so I don't ask him to help me with my homework I don't like to anyways. He looks over at me and smiles I blush and looks at my homework.
"Do you need help?"
"No! No! It's fine I'm okay!" He gives me a look and leans in and puts his forehead against mine.
"Listen you're my girlfriend if you need help or anything I will help you okay?" I want to kiss him again it was wonderful the last time I kissed him.
"Okay..." His lips and mine move closer and closer together.
"Okay class get your homeworks out I'm going to collect it." Fluttershy starts to collect the homework luckily it was multiple choice so Elijah just gave me the answers.
"Would you two just kiss again already!"
"Shut up Bernard." Bernard chuckles
"What Eli? You did it once why not do it again." I punch him in the shoulder
"Can you just leave us alone?"
"Why because Eli is too scared to kiss you again." Elijah started to tense up.
"Shut the fuck up and leave us alone." Woah... Where did that come from? He's become more aggressive and defensive after the accident...I don't like it I want the old one back...
"Elijah what's wrong you can promise me if there's anything wrong you can talk to me okay?" Fluttershy walks up to our desk
"Homework?" I hand her mine
"There's nothing wrong Nia stop worrying." He hands in his homework.
"That's what I'm worried about...that's why I don't usually get my homework done." He looks at me and then grabs my hand and holds it
"I'm feeling fine but if it will get you to stop worrying I promise I will tell you what's wrong okay?" I didn't want to agree but I did hesitantly.
"Alright..."
"Okay class Mr.Mac won't be here today because his wife Mrs.Cherliee is having a baby so not a lot of notes today."
He grabs out his spiral notebook book and a pen and gets ready to write I'm still worried but it's nice to know he trust me.
(Block 2-Mrs. Rarity-AA)
"Well fuck..."
"What's wrong Steven?" I asked he was looking in his phone for something
"Today's Lea's birthday and I freakin forgot..." "So what are you going to get her?"
"I don't know Eli probably a soccer ball again...I'm such an idiot..." Bernard patted his back.
"I got you Steven." Pulls out a box wrapped in gift wrapping.
"W-what's this?"
"It's the shoes you wanted to get her here." He tries to give it to Steven but he pushes it away.
"I can't I didn't buy it..."
"Just take it we are bestfriends remember? I will help you with anything!" Tears start to form from Steven's eyes
"Thanks...I'm glad I have friends like you guys." He pulls us in for a group hug it was awkward seeing that we were in school and everyone was watching...but I was nice then Lea walked in.
"Hi guys! What's up?" Steven gives her the box.
"Happy birthday sweetie...I love you..." ‘Aww's’ could be heard from the class.
"Thanks...I love you too." She kisses him it was so cute...I scoot over the Elijah and held his hand and looked at him he was blushing I lean in and he started to lean in too we were close then...THUD! We all run to the window.
"AHHHH!" I couldn't believe it...someone kill themselves...we ran out to see who it was the head was still bleeding out it was bad I see Lily throw up on the side.
"Oh my fucking God!"
"Hey language Bernard!"
"Sorry Mrs.Rarity..." I go into Elijah's arms and start crying it was terrible he just comforted me.
"It's okay calm down Nia calm down." I cry harder.The police come thirty minutes later and school was dismissed for the rest of the day so we decided to go the park.
"Today's a nice day it's warm and sunny out."
"Yeah I guess so Nia..."
"What's wrong?" He stopped and started to walk to the tree we usually went to when we were in elementary.
(Flashback)
“Hey are you okay?” I sat there crying my eyes out
“Leave me alone!” He sits next to me
“Are you okay?” I looked at him
“Just some bullies…”
“Hey if you need help just call me I can solve your bullying problem.”
“How?”
I know a little about the martial arts.”
“I don’t want you to fight them…”
“That’s just a last resort I will talk to them...Okay?”
“Alright.”
"I never got your name..."
"Huh? Oh...my name is Nia..."
"That's a cute name my name's Elijah or Eli if you want." I giggle
"Thanks and I think Elijah is just fine."
(End of Flashback)
"I never thought that the accident would cause a suicide...I wish I could of saved him now...I'm not sure if my life is worth anything...I wanna kill myself." I start sniffing.
"Why? If you kill yourself do you know how that would affect me? Don’t you care about the the sake of me!? Don’t you?!”
“Of course I do...I always do.” I burst out crying.
“ NO YOU DON’T BECAUSE YOU WOULDN’T SAY THAT THEN!”
“Nia…” he leans in and kisses me more passionately than before it felt better than last time...the feeling was unexplainable.
"I'm sorry...I should have been more thoughtful..."
"It's fine just...don't leave me..."
"I won't...I promise."
(Later on...)
Me and Elijah were walking home we saw Stephanie in the middle of the street with something in her hand.
"Hi Stephanie!" I wave at her she looks at me and then looks away.
"Something's not right Nia..."Then I see her put a gun up to her head.
"No Stephanie!" I started to run to her "Don't do it!"
"Nia no!" He grabs my hand and I start to cry.
"No! Let go I have to save her!" I try escaping but I couldn't I look at Stephanie and...she pulled the trigger bang! Her blood and brain fly everywhere "No!" I started to cry even harder.
"It's okay let it out." I cry into his shirt and I felt the world start spiral out of control everything was going crazy everything was a blur and I felt trapped.
