The Fall of Star Swirl The Bearded

Star Swirl lived in a fairly normal household, except for one thing: He was extraordinary. While his father did absolutely nothing worthy with his life, his mother had gone to school and graduated, until she disappeared, and was found dead. Star Swirl could live without his father. His father stayed at home studying alchemy, getting him nowhere. Star Swirl was forbidden to go to school until age ten, the year his mother died. Every day at his school was torture in his mind. Star Swirl, being a random colt, had to keep his jokes and, well, randomness inside his head. The students at Canterlot Academy back then were refined and straightforward, never making so much as a joke or being the tiniest bit random. By age seventeen, Star Swirl hated his life. He ran away, not planning to come back anytime soon. He never did.
