A Shocking Beginning.

It was a beautiful day outside. Birds were singing, flowers were blooming. The town's folk were busy working as they usually were. I got up, took a shower and went down stairs to see my landlord making breakfast.

"Twilight.. What are you doing?" I said giving a worried look at her.

"Oh Morning Dylan. Just making breakfast." She said with a smile on her face. I walked over to her and I can see that she is burning the eggs.

"Twilight.. Stop.." I moved her away from the stove and tried to salvage the eggs the best I can.

"Hey, I wanted to make breakfast for everyone!" She pouted as she sat down on a chair. I giggle a bit at this.

"The gesture was nice Twilight but last time you made breakfast you burned some of my hair." I feel the first few strands of hair and they were still burnt. Twilight sighs

"I just wanted to something nice for you and Spike. You two help me out around the library a lot and I just thought that it would be nice to do something for you both." I pulled the frying pan off the burner and then I give Twilight a hug.

"Twilight.. You don't need to do that. Me and Spike help you around the library because we care for you a lot." I pet her head and give a kiss on the cheek. She blushes and rested her head on my chest.

"What did I do to deserve you love?" She said with a smile on her face.

"Well you nursed me back to health for one thing and you gave me a place to stay." I said to her.

Thinking back about 4 months ago when I first came to Equestria. I was working in the back of a Target store moving the boxes around in the right order. I had just finished my shift and walks outside to find it was raining. I ran over to my car to drive home when the car wouldn't start. I tried a couple of times before I decided to catch a bus and get the car in the morning. I walked over to the bus stop and lightning started roaring around. I got startled and ran for cover when a bolt of blue lightning came down and hit me. I screamed out and in a flash I was gone. In Ponyville the towns folk were walking around the market area when a scheduled rain shower came in and everyone ran to their houses. Twilight was reading in the park when the rain shower came in. She put up her umbrella when she looked up and saw something falling from the sky. She tried to get a good look at it when she saw it was a man. She ran over to try to grab the guy with her magic but she was too late. The guy hit the ground, Twilight ran over and check to see if he was ok. He has burn marks on his chest, both arms, and his neck. His breathing was ragged and he could barley see. Twilight called over her friends and they rushed him to Twilight's place.

I woke up a few hours later with bandages around myself. I looked around to find myself in a room of some sort.

"Man what the hell happened to me?" I try to move but then a spike of pain shot through my arm. " !!! Owwww God damn it." Just then someone came in.

"Oh your awake. That's good." She smiles and sits next to me. I look at her and I'm in shock.

"H..hello there.. W..what are you?" I said as she looks at me strangely.

"What do you mean? I'm a pony..." She looks at him more closely.

"O..ok then... S..so what is your name?" I asked her nervously.

"Well my name is Twilight Sparkle." She smiles brightly and that causes me to blush.

"T..that's a nice name." Twilight comes over closer

"You ok? Your face is all red." She puts her hand on my forehead "Hmmm You don't have a fever." She said.

" I..it's ok S..so where am I?" She removes her hand and looks at me.

"We are at my place. You fell from the sky and had some pretty bad burns on parts of your body. It was to far away from the hospital so I took you here. You are in the Guest room." I look around and the room is mostly barren except for some books on the shelves.

"Well I thank you for saving me. Oh I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Dylan Crouse." I smile as someone opens the door.

"Hey Twilight. Is he up yet?" Said Spike.

"Oh hey Spike. Yes he is." Spike walks over to him.

"Hey there pal." He waves at me and I just stare for a bit.

"... Twilight... Who's the lizard?" I said and Spike got upset at that comment.

" Hey Dragon, Dragon not lizard I don't do that tongue thing." He proceeds to do that tongue.

"...." I start to laugh a bit. "Oh man. That was too good to pass up. Sorry Spike. Didn't mean to offend you."

Both Twilight and Spike looked at me and then laughed with me. "It's ok man. What was that from anyway?" Said Spike.

"Oh it's just a old movie I watched as a kid." Well after we stopped laughing we talked for a bit.

"So Dylan where are you from?" Twilight asked.

"Well I am from Lakewood Washington" They both gave me a strange look.

"Washington? I never heard of it before." I was perplexed on how they didn't about Washington then it hit me. "Twilight.. What is this planet called?" I asked her.

"It's called Gaia... Why do you ask?" Then all the color went away from my face. I started to looks around the room and I tried to get up until Twilight stopped me.

"Hey calm down Dylan. You need to rest. After you are healed up then you can go home." Then I look at her with tears in my eyes.

" I.. I can't.." I cried out.

"Why not Dylan?" She asked me.

"Because I am not from here. I am not from this world. I am from a planet called Earth." I looked at her and lay my head on the pillow.

"I.. I see.. W..well I will let you rest.. Come on Spike." They both go out of the room and close the door.

I sat there for a while thinking on how should I get home. I went back to sleep for a bit until I woke up to the smell of food. There was a tray of food next to me with a note with it. I read the note and it said "Dylan, I am sorry for making you cry. I truly didn't mean to at all. Hope you can forgive me when I see you next time.  I made you some food in case you were hungry. From Twilight" The plate of food consisted of Eggs, some toast, A glass of apple juice, and some Hash browns. I pick up the food and began to eat it. It was a little burnt around the edges but tasted good. I put the plate down and rested my head when Twilight came back in.

"H..hello Dylan. How are you feeling?" She asked nervously.

"I'm fine Twilight." I smile at her and she smiles back.

"That's good. How was the food?" She asked me.

"The food was good. A little burnt around the edges but it tasted great."  Twilight smiled and sat next to me.

"Glad you liked it. I made it with you in mind." I blushed at that statement and I covered my face with the blanket.

"I.. I see.. Thanks.. S..so when can I get out of this bed?" I asked her.

"Well you can move tomorrow since your bones aren't broken." She said to me.

"Good.. I want to get a look around town. If I am going to be staying here for a while then I want to know where every place is and also I want to meet your friends." I said as Twilight smiled brightly

"Well You can meet one of them now. She is down stairs. I'll go get her." Said Twilight

She leaves the room. As i wait feel something coming from under my sheets I take a look and it a alligator.

".... H...hello.." I wave to it and it clamps on my head. I scream out only to find that it has no teeth.

"Oh there you are Gummy!" A Pink haired girl comes in and pick put the Alligator named Gummy.

"Oooo Who are you?" The Pink haired girl asked me.

"The names Dylan... What's your name?" I asked her.

"My names Pinkie Pie. Party Planner Supreme. You must be the friend Twilight said that fell from the sky. You don't have wings so how were you in the sky?" I just stared at her for a few minutes.

"W...well.. I came from another world." As soon as I said that she zoomed towards me and gave me a hug

"Oooo a new friend from another world. That will be a first." I smile a little as I hug Pinkie back.

"Well I wish I could stay longer but I have to get back to work." As she walks out I couldn't help but notice that she has a nice ass. She turned back to me and gave me a little wink. I smirk a little bit and then she left the room that's when  Twilight came in

"I see you meet Pinkie." She said.

"Yeah. She was nice. (She had a nice ass too) So when do I get to meet your other friends?" I asked her.

"Well the only one that is free is Rarity. Would you like to meet her?" I nod my head

"Before you go can I at least move around a bit?" I looked at her.

"Sure." She left to go get Rarity.

I get up and my body is sore all over. I walk to the bath room and have a good look on my face.

"Well at least my face is fine and my glasses as well." I go back to the room and lay on the bed. A few minutes later Rarity comes in.

"Why hello darling how are you today?" She asked me sweetly.

"H...hi there. Y..you must be Rarity." I look at her and she is gorgeous. Nice hair, great figure, wonderful smile, and great features.

"Why yes. Twilight told me what happened it must have been dreadful to be ripped from your own world like that." She said.

"Well... It's not so bad. I get to meet some lovely ladies while I'm at it." I smirk at her and she smiles back.

"Well it's nice to know that you are a gentleman. Your name is Dylan correct?" I nod my head. "Well It's nice to meet you my name Rarity Filigree." She said.

"It's nice to meet you. My name is Dylan Crouse." I smile at her. Rarity and I made some conversation about some things. Like how she is the local fashion designer, she is one of the Elements of Harmony, and that she is dating Spike.

"So wait.. You are dating Spike.. Wow." I said to Rarity.

"I know. My little Spikey-Wikey. At first it was a innocent crush he had on me at first. But after a while I had developed a crush on him as well. It was not until He was a rampaging dragon to truly let me know that I care for him. The both of us were falling from the sky and he had told me he had a crush on me and then I told him the same thing. As we touched the ground we kissed each other and we been dating ever since." She smiled as she was thinking to that day.

"Well I am glad you and him are together. The Little Dragon can use some love. When him and Twilight were talking to me earlier he was speaking a bunch about you." Rarity blushes as she hears this.

"I ..I hope he didn't say to much." She said.

"Nah he didn't say to much." She breathed a sigh of relief as she got up from her chair.

"Well I love to stay and chat but I must be off. I'll see you around soon. I'll have to make you a set of clothes for you." She said to me.

"Thank you Rarity." I said to Rarity.

She left the room and then Twilight came in. "How was your time with Rarity?" She asked me.

"It was pleasant. She was just talking about her and Spike."  I told her.

"Yeah.. I just hope he will be alright. He is only 18 and Rarity is 22." She sighed a bit.

"Well Twilight I think it's ok. I can feel the love between the two. I know that they won't hurt each other. Plus I was in a similar situation back in my world. I fell in love with this girl that was 16 and I was 20 at the time. Plus Rarity is one of your friends she wouldn't do that to Spike or you." I told her and she smiled at me.

"Thanks Dylan." She said to me.

"Anytime Twilight." I smile back.

"So it's getting late so get some sleep and in the morning you can talk to the rest of my friends." She walks out and then I slowly drift off to sleep. I thought about what this new world holds for me and if I was ever going to get home.. I want to try this place out for a while.. See what wonders this place has to offer.
