A Shocking Beginning.

I woke up from my sleep and stretched a bit. "That was some nice sleep.. Was it all a dream?" I looked around and saw that it wasn't a dream and I was still in Equestria. I got up and went to take a shower. After that I put on the clothes that I was wearing and went down stairs to find Spike cooking breakfast.

"Morning Spike, What are ya doing?"I ask the dragon.

"Making breakfast, Hope you like eggs, toast and Soy bacon." He said with a smile. "Soy Bacon?" I questioned.

"Yeah but if you use the right spices it tastes like normal bacon." He said to me.

"Sound good to me. Where is Twilight?" I asked him

"She is still sleeping, can you wake her up for me?" he asked me and I nodded my head as I walk to her room.

"Twilight... Twilight?.." I open the door and I see Twilight hugging a science book. I give her a weird look and then I wake her up. "Hey Twilight.. Wake up." I shake her for a few seconds until she raises her head up

"Huh what is it?" She looks at me. "Dylan?" She said sleepily.

"Yes it's me. Wake up. Spike is making breakfast." I smile at her and then I walk back down stairs to find Spike placing the food on some plates. I smile and then start to eat when Twilight comes in her pajamas.

"Morning you two." She yawns and then sits down.

"Morning Twilight. Did you sleep well?" She nodded her head and begins to eat breakfast. She eats everything but the bacon.

"Your not going to eat the bacon?" She shakes her head and I take her bacon and eat it. "Not as good as regular bacon but good enough." Twilight gave me a weird look.

"Y...you eat meat?" I nod my head and I saw her get scared a bit.

"Yes I do eat meat but not pony. I can live off of other stuff without meat for a little while at least so don't worry Twilight." I smile at her and then she sighs in relief. "But I will need to eat some sooner or later." I said and that made Twilight frown a bit.

"We ponies can eat meat as well but it's more of a choice thing." She said.

"I understand. I will try not to eat meat around you." I smile back and then I get up. "Well I'm going to check out the town." I said.

"Be careful ok." She warned me.

"I will Twilight." I go up to her and pet her head softly. "Thanks for worrying about me." I walk out the library and Twilight was blushing a bit.

I walk around town looking at the sights and ponies start staring at me. I wave to them some turn away from me, and some wave back nervously. Eventually I make it to Rarity's place and I knock on the door. "Rarity? Are you home?" I say out loud.

"Come in darling. Have a seat on the couch and I will be with you in a moment." I walk inside and the place looks great I look around and I see something that make me cringe a bit.

"Damn it.. It's a mannequin. I thought I could go my whole life without seeing one." I look away from it and sit on the couch to wait for Rarity.

"Sorry to keep you waiting darling." She said as she stood before me.

"No worries Rarity. I didn't wait long." I stood up and she walked me over to the spot to take my measurements. After that was said and done me and her had some tea together.

"I will have your outfits down by tomorrow darling" She said to me.

"Thanks Rarity." I thanked her

"So Dylan tell me a bit about yourself. Last timed we talked only about me and Spike. I want to know more about you." She asked me.

"Well.. I am 22 years old. I'm from another world, I had a ok job and I was on good terms with my family." I told her plainly.

"Well it's nice to hear that you were on good terms with your family. Is there anyone else that will miss you."  She said to me.

"Well.. There is my sister.. Well she is a friend but to me she is like family.. I'd do anything for her.." I said to her.

"Anything? Like even hurt someone?" She asked me.

"Yes.. She is that important to me.. Can you keep this next part between us?" I asked her and she nodded her head. "I would kill anyone that hurt her... No matter who it was." I said with a serious tone in my voice. She cringed a bit at what I said.

"I... I see.." She said nervously.

`"Sorry if I ruined the mood Rarity.. It's just... I love her.. I don't want anyone to hurt her at all." I finished my tea and stood up. "Thank you for the tea Rarity. I want to see more of the town." I wave goodbye to her and I walked outside.

I continued to walk around the town. I saw a pony that was a minty green color. She turned towards me and her eyes start to sparkle. I gave her a weird look and continued on my way. But she started to follow me slowly. I noticed this and then I began to move faster and faster until I did a full on sprint.

"Jeez... That was close." I hid behind a building from the crazy mare. "I hope she doesn't find me." I said to myself.

"Hope that who doesn't find you?" A voice said from behind me. "This crazy mint green mare. I think she is crazy." I told the voice.

"Ah I see. That mare "is" crazy.. But right~" The voice said back. I looked behind me and it was the mint green mare that was chasing me. I tried to run but she grabbed me and hugged me. My head was in her chest. She was pretty big. Maybe about a C cup. I blushed as I struggled to break free. "I can't believe it. I finally found a human. Now I can tell everyone that I am not crazy." She said out loud.

"T..that's nice but can you let me go?" I looked up at her and she let me go. "Thanks. So what is your name?" The mare breath out and said.

"My name is Lyra Heartstrings." She smiles at me.

"Well my name is Dylan Crouse." I smiled back.

"Nice to meet you. Soooo.... Please tell me about your self." She asked me. I told her the same things I told Rarity except the last bit.

"That is so interesting. S..so.. C..can we be friend?" She asked me shyly. I looked at her and smiled as I nodded my head. Her eyes sparkled brightly and she hugged me again. I hugged back. "Thank you for talking to me. The only ponies that talk to me are Ditzy Doo and my marefriend Bon Bon. Everyone else in town doesn't talk to me. They aren't rude but it just gets lonely." She said in a sad tone. I then hugged her softly.

"Don't worry Lyra. I will be here when ya need someone to talk to." She smiled and hugged back.

"Thank you Dylan." She kisses my cheek and then walks away. I blush a bit and then I got up and went back to walking around town.

I kept walking around until I ended up at what was called Sugar Cube Corner.

"Twilight said this is where Pinkie works and lives. Hmmm I might be able to get a job here." I entered Sugar Cube Corner and then I saw Pinkie Pie working.

"Oh! Dilly!" She walked around the counter and then give me a big hug.

"H...Hello Pinkie. How are you?" I asked her.

"I am doing great Dilly~ I was just about to close the shop for the day." She said as she lets go of me.

"That ok. So you work here alone?" I said as Pinkie shakes her head.

"Not usually The Cakes are on vacation in Fillydelphia" I laughed at the name and the Pinkie giggled as well.

"Oh man. That is riot. Hey Pinkie can I ask you something?" I asked her.

"What is it Dilly?" She said back.

"Around town I saw a lot of ladies and so few men around. What's the deal?" Pinkie giggled and said.

"Well in Equestria the ratio of male to female is 30% for males and 70% for females. Their is a higher chance of having a baby girl then it is to have a baby boy." She finished explaining to me. I was in awe. I didn't think that the ladies out numbered the men in this world... Not that it's not a bad thing.

"Wow.. That is shocking.. S..so I also saw a man having two ladies around his arm. T..tell me about that?" I said as she giggled again.

"Well that is called Herding. Herding is where either a male or female have more then one partner in the relationship. A couple can have three or up to five partners at once." My mouth just hung open.

"F..five partners at once... Oh my.."  I sat down on the floor and tried to wrap my head around this whole herding thing.

"It's ok Dilly. You will get use to it. Anyway What would you like?" She went around the counter and put on a big smile. "We got Vanilla cupcakes, chocolate ones, strawberry, grape, we also got tons of cakes, muffins, tarts, breads, and a few selections of candies!" She smiled and I got up.

"I'll take a chocolate muffin please." I asked her and she handed the muffin to me.

"Here you go." I take it and bite into it. "Mmmmm this is the best muffin I ever had. " I devour the muffin in seconds.

"Glad you liked it." She smiles brightly.

"Oh Pinkie.. I was wondering if I can have a job here. I don't just want to sit around the whole time." Pinkie thought for a second and then she smiled.

"Well Sure~ I would love the help around here. You can start in two days." I smile and she smiles back.

"Thank you Pinkie. I will try my best to help you out." I told her.

"You are welcome Dilly." I go to the door and we say our good byes and I left Sugar Cube Corner.

I left Sugar Cube Corner and I walked a few steps before I heard someone shouting.

"Look out below!" I look up and see this Rainbow haired girl falling towards me. I tried to move away in time but she crashed into me. I was in a daze and I felt something squishy in my hand I looked and it was my hand on her breast. It was small but firm. I quickly remove it and say,

"You ok?" I say to her and she opens her eyes.

"Yeah.. I think so." So looks at me blushes brightly.

"You know. If I was a different person. I would take advantage of this." She jumps up and glares at me.

"W..who are you?" She asks me with a slightly angry tone.

"You know you should give your name first before you ask someone for their name. But since I am a nice guy I'll tell you my name first. My name is Dylan." I told her.

"Well my name is Rainbow Dash, The most Awesome pony here." She said with pride. I laugh a bit.

"Well it's nice to meet you Rainbow. I am guessing you are one of Twilight's friends." She nods her head and two other ponies come up behind her.

"Oh my Rainbow Dash. Are you alright?" A light pink haired girl asked Rainbow as she hugs her with a blonde haired girl right behind her.

"Dang it Rainbow Dash. I told ya to be careful when trying some new flying tricks." The blonde hair girl huffs a bit."  B..but I am glad you are ok." She blushes a bit.

"Well who are these two ladies?" I smile at them and the Pink haired girl hides behind her hair and the blonde one smiles at me.

"Well howdy partner My name is Applejack and this is Fluttershy." She smiles at me and Fluttershy smiles lightly.

"H..hello there." She says softly.

"Well it's nice to meet you. Names Dylan." The both of them gasp.

"I remember ya now. You were that guy that fell from the sky during the storm yesterday." Applejack said as Fluttershy came towards me and hugged me suddenly.

"Oh my goodness Are you alright. Are you in any pain at all." She said to me. I shake my head.

"No I'm fine Fluttershy. Thanks for the concern." I smile and pet her head. She blushes but smiles.

"Relax you two he's fine. I didn't hurt him that much when I crashed into him" She smirks and I laugh a bit.

"Yeah thanks by the way... So.. I am guessing that you three are a item huh?" I smirk a bit and the three of them blush.

"W..well yeah. We sorta one day talked to each other and we all had feelings for each other.." Applejack said.

"That's wonderful. I'm happy for you three." They all smile.

"S..so uhhm. Dylan.. W..what are you?" Fluttershy asked me softly.

"Well I am a human and I come from another world." I explained to them how I got here while giving them some personal info bout myself.

"Wow.. That really sucks what happened to you buddy." Rainbow Dash said. Both Fluttershy and Applejack nodded their heads in agreement.

We made some casual talk when heard a scream. "HELP ME!!!!" The scream came from the forest.

"That sounds like Scootaloo!" The three of them said. The words resonated within my head and they played over again but instead of her voice I heard my sisters voice.

"Dylan! Help me!!" On pure instinct I dashed towards Scootaloo's voice.

"!!!! Dylan wait!" Rainbow Dash shouted at me. I didn't listen to her and went to save Scootaloo. On my way to save Scootaloo I found a metal pipe and grabbed it and kept on dashing towards the voice. As I got deeper into the forest. It was dark and I didn't see the path but I didn't care. I just wanted to save Scootaloo. I got closer and closer to where the screams were coming from and when I got to a clearing where I saw Scootaloo hiding in the trunk of the tree and the Manticore was clawing at the trunk of the tree and Scootaloo was shivering in fright. I ran up to the Manticore and swung the metal pipe at the beast but the beast swiped at me and I was flung towards a tree. I hit it hard but got up quickly and charged at the Manticore again and whacked it in it's jaw. It moved back in pain for a bit and I turned towards Scootaloo.

"You need to get out of here! I'll hold it off!" I told her as I stood in front of her.

"B..but mister..." She was about to continue then I shouted

"JUST DO IT!" She got spooked and then ran off. "Great... now I have to fight off a Manticore by myself." I thought. As I was about to continue fighting I heard something crash and looked back. It was Scootaloo and she was caught on some vines. The Manticore saw this and charged towards her. My eyes widened so I ran towards and the Manticore moved it's tail to strike Scootaloo but I stepped in front of it and took the blow to the stomach. I wince in pain and was on my knees.

"No! Get up mister... Please!!" Scootaloo shouted at me and the Manticore gets closer and closer. I stood up weakly and stood my ground.

"Don't... you ...dare... hurt... my....SISTER!!!" I felt a surge of power coming throughout my body. ("What is this power I'm feeling.. Whatever it is it's what I need to save Scootaloo") I thought to myself as I suddenly I held both of my hands in front of me suddenly a bunch of lightning started to charge around my hands. I released it and the blast hit the Manticore. The Manticore was burnt really badly and it ran away. I panted a bit and got Scootaloo untangled, then I picked her up and started walking out of the forest.

"W..what was that Mister?" She asked me.

"I don't know.. But as long as you are safe that's all the matters." I smiled at her and we were out of the forest.

"So what is your name Mister?" She asked me "The names Dylan." I told her.

"Thank you for saving me Dylan. Names Scootaloo." She said to me. We smiled at each other then we saw Rainbow Dash flying towards us. As she was coming towards us my vision started to get blurry.

"You guys!!!" She dashed towards us and hugged us. "I am so happy that you two are alright." She smiled and took Scootaloo in her arm. "I am so glad you are hurt squirt." She said to Scootaloo.

"It's all thanks to Dylan here." Scootaloo said.

"Thank you so much Dylan." Rainbow Dash said to me. As she thanked me for what I've done my vision started to get blurrier and blurrier.

"No problem Rainbow Dash.. Glad to... help...out." I trailed off as I feel to the ground unconsciously.

"!!! Dylan!!" Both Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash shouted. The last thing I remember was Rainbow Dash going to get help and Scootaloo holding my hand crying and for a second there I thought I saw my sister holding my hand.
