The Two Sisters are famous for their amazing deeds across all of the planet Eqqus, and possibly beyond. They raise the sun and the moon for the entire world each day, and have saved the world many times over. Both great leaders, there is not a single pony, griffin, dragon, or other sentient being on Eqqus who does not know their names. As all know, they bring light to the world with the brilliant gazes of their glowing orbs.

However, nopony knows where they came from. Their history is well-known from the moment they defeated Discord on, but nopony knows their origins. They were known to the world once they brought peace, order, and harmony to Eqqus, and stability in the cycle of the two great lights.

But if they control the light, who controls the darkness?
The darkness was there before light even existed. It wrapped the earth in its cool embrace before there was light to warm it.
