Queen Chrysalis watched as her young filly slept peacefully, she slowly and quietly walked to the door to the halls. Chrysalis closed the door quietly, then left to her chambers to get to work. As the silky green maned changeling Queen was walking to her room, one of the changeling soldiers came up to her with the expression of worriness, anger, and frustration, "Your Queen," the changeling soldier rasped; from many battles before, "I'm afraid we must be ready for... war... again," he finished, he coughed, Chrysalis looked at the soldier in the eye, his green eyes into hers, "War? With who?" Chrysalis asked worriedly, hoping that it wasn't who she think they were. A young soldier walked in, "War was announced from... Princess Celestia; the... Sun princess," the soldier said in disgust with saying, "Princess Celestia" and so as "the Sun princess." Chrysalis just nodded and went into her room, it was so dark the only light source was a green fire in the center of the room, "War... Celestia... Defeated..." she said angrily, the changelings left their old home because of the attack that was unexpected on their lair. With nothing to do, but plan a defense, Queen Chrysalis made a defense plan when her mind suddenly thought of one thing only, 'What about, Violect?'
~3 Months Later~
Violect awoke, she was a bit young to know anything happening around her, her mother singing a lullaby that she, herself, made;
The world has been cruel, no hatred any kind
Why do they do this to us?
The strength we need, but power to them
The love is everywhere
But into the happiness, I give you words
And I will always hate
'Till your hatred heart, have gone through your mind
Have made you stronger than before
Violect fell asleep, with the lullaby replaying once it finished, Chrysalis stopped singing, knowing that Violect was sound asleep. Once Chrysalis was out on the balcony, she looked towards the night sky, filled with many stars, "War will come. And I will be there to show who we truly are," the greened maned changeling Queen said.
~Two Months Later~
Everywhere soldiers were down, dead. "You will not hurt any pony!" Celestia said angrily, she was fighting Chrysalis as much as she could, but Chrysalis could feel so much love from Celestia, Celestia's love for her sister, her subjects, Twilight, and many more. Chrysalis backed away, "You coward! Fleeing when you know you're in the open?" Celestia yelled angrily, Celestia wasn't a bit happy about being tricked thinking Chrysalis was Cadence from the wedding, "This battle will continue when the time has come. CHANGELINGS RETREAT!" Chrysalis yelled the last sentence, the changeling Queen was worried about Violect, than being defeated.
~The Next Day~
Every changeling was still healing from the fight yesterday, Chrysalis looked at her daughter for the last time, she decided it wasn't safe for Violect to be here. Chrysalis started flying with a basket handle in her mouth while a basket was holding sound asleep Violect, Chrysalis was slow because she didn't want to disturb Violect, Violect couldn't know.
Chrysalis set the basket at the doors of the castle gates of Canterlot, the only place Chrysalis had to choose was Canterlot, where her sworn enemies would take care of Violect, once Chrysalis turned to leave, Violect looked like a normal Alicorn filly, sound asleep.
