When a young man expects something and doesn't receive it, he get's upset. When a child in a young mans body loses something forever, it might just motivate him to grow up a little. Or not. maybe a few more spins on the wheel will bring him to his senses. Maybe he just needs to live through a few bad fanfics to realize the fact that he's a horrible person. Or maybe he'll die holding on desperately to his childhood. Or maybe this description was just a little too serious for a comedy story. Yeah, probably.
