Author's Note

Here's to starting my first story, but it won't be done alone, as I have my good friend Jonathan for inspiration and transcription.

Arrival

"Dude, we need to right a story about everything that happens to us here," Ryan said to Jonny, who was currently walking through the house with nothing but a towel, as he was just getting out of the shower.

"I agree, we'd get a bunch of hits on FIM Fiction," he says, as he looks at you, "Bet you didn't expect that did you reader?"

"Jonny, stop taunting the internet."

"Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinne," he whined, "You're such a dick."

"Okay, here, you start the story'" Ryan said handing Jonny the computer.

"Cool, let's start this story."

The day started off like any other-

"Okay, stop, don't start it with such a cliché line you idiot."

"Fine, fine."

Jonny and Ryan were walking through the halls they stopped at a hallway intersection Ryan leans up against a locker and they just stood there and watched people walk by because they were bored as shit.

"So Jon-" he was cut off as his hand presses against the lock and a giant ass portal appears and Jonny falls in.

Everyone in the hall had a horrified expression on their face, Ryan just looked at the portal.

"Fuggin' Jonny," he mutters and walks into the portal after Jon there is a brilliant flash of light and he finds himself falling, he lands in a crouch right next to an unconscious Jonny, he observes his surrounding and noticed they were in an apple orchard.

"Dammit Jonny, well looks like I'm going to be here for a while."

He sat on the ground, and started to look around the orchard. He stretched his arms as he yawned, when he opened his eyes he caught a glimpse of orange, red, and yellow through the leaves of a tree. He jumped up and picked Jonny's limp figure off the ground, and was immediately shocked by how light Jonny felt. It's probably nothing, he thought.

When he finally came into a clearing, he saw a barn that looked very familiar. When he saw an orange quadruped with a cart of apples, he immediately knew where he was.

Applejack picked up a basket of apples in her teeth and walked into the house, but when she came back, one of the baskets were gone. "Apple Bloom is this one of your silly pranks?" The mare called.

"Nope, Chuck Testa," an unfamiliar voice said behind her.

She whirled around to see a strange creature grasping her basket, she was about to buck him into next week when she noticed a figure slumping over him. "What's with that one?" She asked Ryan.

Ryan looked at Jonny and set him down on the ground. It was then that Applejack saw that the limp ones clothes had Pinkie Pie on them. She looked back up at Ryan with a questioning gaze.

"Oh yeah, I should probably explain that. Do you mind if I put him in your barn?"

After Applejack allows Ryan to put Jonny in the barn while he’s out. Ryan offers to help applejack with the day’s work.

"Well all right, but Ah’ll be keeping my eye on ya but before we do that y’all better be explainin’ why Pinkie Pie is on his shirt and where you came from,” Applejack drawled sternly.

“Okay first off, I, am Ryan and the one that got knocked out is Jonathan but you can call him Jonny. Next, I should explain how we got here. My friend and I were on our way to class when we stopped in the hallway to chat, just as I leaned up against the wall an inter-dimensional portal opened Jonny fell through and got knocked the fuck out when he landed. Then I decided to jump through with him to save his sorry ass and the rest is history now i should explain more in detail where we are from we come from an alternate dimension from a planet called Earth. We live in a country called the United States of America or the U.S. as most of us call it. On Earth there is a fictional show called My Little Pony within it you your friends and a few other peo-, I guess I should say ponies are featured and go on adventures, Which apparently have actually happened in your universe, thus explaining Pinkie Pie on Jonny’s shirt and my knowing your name.”

Applejack stared at Ryan with a dumbfounded expression she thought for a second before an idea clicked in her head and she said, “We should get you to-,”

“Twilight? Yeah, I was thinking that too. Let’s go!” he called enthusiastically, already walking towards the entrance of the orchard.

“Wait, shouldn't we get your friend first?” the mare exclaimed.

“Nah, he’s fine, and I’m sure he’ll be out for awhile,” he said nonchalantly still heading for the entrance, the mare rushed to catch up, “Besides I had an idea for the ultimate prank he smiled deviously.

“Okay that should knock out the first chapter,” Ryan said to Jonny.

“Alright, but I need to go get clothes on,” Jonny said, still in his towel.

“Why didn’t you do that before we started writing the story?”

“I honestly don’t know,” he said walking down the hallway.

“Whatever,” Ryan said, walking out the door.

When Ryan walked back into the small cottage, he saw Jonny had gotten dressed and was ready to continue.

"Alright let's do this," Ryan said, and Jonny turned back to the desk.

After running Applejack through the plan she was quickly on board with the prank. To get through town without being noticed Ryan climbed onto a rooftop, thankful that it was getting close to night so he could use the shadows to help conceal him as he traversed the rooftops. As he moved along the rooftops, he noticed he felt a lot lighter, like Jonny had been, That’s odd, he thought.

As night fell, Ryan jumped off the roof he was on and walked the rest of the way to the castle. He climbed on to a banister holder over the door as Applejack knocked.

As Twilight opened the door, she lit up and said, “Applejack, what brings you by?”

Ryan jumps down from the banister and shouts, “ME!”

Twilight has a similar reaction to Applejack's, just 10 times larger, and with a shrill scream.

Applejack and Ryan fell to the ground laughing, until Twilight picked up Ryan in her telekinesis. He then sighed, “Need something Twily?” He asked with a wide grin.

“Who and what are you, where did you come from, how many of you are there, and what do you want from us?” She fired off questions in rapid succession.

“Ryan Franks, human, alternate dimension, around 7 billion, but in your reality two, and nothing really.” He answered equally as fast.

“Where is this other... human, of yours?” Twilight asked, looking Ryan over.

“He’s down at mah barn, he got knocked out on the way here apparently,” Applejack spoke up.

“Well ,we should go see if we can wake him up,” Twilight suggested.

“I agree, I’m sure he’ll freak out if I’m not there to contain him,” Ryan said. “and I don’t want him hurting himself.”

After Twilight put Ryan back on his feet, the three headed towards Applejack's. A few minutes of walking in silence later, they arrived at Applejacks barn. Ryan climbed up to the loft where he had put Jonny and walked over to his slack body, watching the slight rise and fall of his chest.

Well at least he's still alive, he thought to himself. He heard the quiet hoof beats behind him and turned to see Twilight and Applejack.

"Stay here I have to keep him somewhat calm when he wakes up," he was about to turn back around when he felt a strange tingling feeling running along his shoulder blades and up his spine.

"What’s wrong, sugar cube?" Applejack asked noticing his sudden stop.

“Hopefully nothing,” he said before turning the rest of the way around and walked over to the sleeping figure he gently shook Jonny’s shoulder Jon wake up after receiving no response he shook him a bit harder. “Get up you lazy lug,” Still nothing. He pulled his hand back and slapped Jonny across the face, which woke him right up.

“Gah what the hell man? Wait, where are we?”

“Okay don’t freak out, but we might be in Equestria."

“Dude, stop fucking with me.”

“He’s not kiddin’, sugar cube,” Applejack said as she and Twilight walked up on either side of Ryan.

Jonny froze and his entire body stiffened up. Ryan leaned in and waved his hand in front of Jonathan’s face and said “Yo, Jooonnay yalright?”

Jonny blinks and shakes his head before saying “Ehhh, I get it.”

When John and Ryan start laughing. Twilight and Applejack then ask in unison “What's so funny?”

Jonny and Ryan respond, also in unison “Don't worry about it.”

They laugh for a second longer before Jonny says, “I have this weird tingly feeling across my back.”

“Me too,” Ryan said with a suspicious look.

“It’s probably not-,” Jonny was cut of as a scream of agonizing pain overtook him.

Ryan blinked in surprise, then noticed something under Jonny’s shirt. He walked up and flipped John’s shirt over his head and saw something moving under his skin. Ryan looked over to see two very surprised ponies, he walked over, pushed them back, pulled off his shirt, rolled it up, and stuck it between his teeth. Then his world went white as the pain started across his back.

Applejack looked over at Twilight, and said, with a worried look, "Do you know what's happenin’ to 'em?"

Twilight responded with, “I don’t know, but let’s hope it ends soon.”

When Ryan's vision returned to him he battled the pain and slowly made his way to Jonny when he reached him he reached into his friend's pocket and pulled out his knife. It was a yellow knife that was shaped like a bird's talon he held Jonny down with one knee and one hand and quickly slashed two lines across his back he released Jon and fell face first into the ground dazed he was dimly aware of a quick relief as Jonny did the same and they both fell from the conscious world.
