Equestria has fallen.
The Day of the Cards brought Equestria to a state of civil war, monsters and extraordinary powers summoned forth to battle, distracting the kingdom's inhabitants from the evil that poured into the world and silenced the Elements of Harmony and the goddesses who once protected the land.
The land has been swallowed by the evils of the Shadow Realm, and the survivors of the disaster struggle daily in a world where all arguments and debates are settled by the ways of old - Duels.
Winner keeps their life. Loser forfeits theirs.
This is the story of one Duelist who sought to lift the evil sucking the life out of the land, a Duelist who will face overwhelming odds in his mission to stop an evil that threatens to lay waste to Equestria - if not the entire world - with seas of blood and mountains of bones.
