The Element of Jealousy

Spike groaned at the ingredients . He needed a pegasus to get them.  "A tuff of cloud, a bright rainbow's glow, and pegasus feather." Rainbows glow. Rainbow Dash could help. But, she was the most stubborn pony around. It would be impossible to get her to help. He sighed and looked for her. She was mostly in clouds dale, or, practicing her flying. Or, napping in a tree, where is which Spike found her.

"Hey rainbow Dash!"  She continued snoring. "RAINBOW DASH!" she still snored, even louder. Spike saw a rock and hesitantly  picked it up. He aimed at the branch beside her and threw. His aim was off and the rock hit Rainbow Dash on the head.

"Hey what the buck was that for!" she growled, rubbing her head and wincing in pain. Spike waved sheepishly.  "What do you want?!" she said, glaring at him.

I uh.. need help to get these ingredients"  She looked at the piece of paper and laughed.

"Nah, sorry." He went on his knees and stared begging.

"Please, Ill do anything!" She smirked. "Oh really? Anything?"

Spike grimaced. He had to clean Rainbow Dashes house on the ground. She sure was messy. After this, he had to race her, carrying a wheel barell of rocks. And win.  He shouldn't of said he'd do anything, knowing how much of  a bitch she was. After cleaning her house, it was time for the race.

"Ok for the race we'll be fly- er, running the same route as the pet route!" "ready set go!"

She quickly ran off, leaving Spike in her dust.  He struggled and thought all he could about Rarity.  How worth it was, how much he loved her. He thought about the first time he saw her..

"Beautiful" He thought as he saw the indigo maned mare with beautiful sparkling eyes. His heart beat hard against his chest. He just wanted to hold her, to make sure she's alright, to love her..

He went back to reality. She loved another. How would he ever compete with a pony? It was impossible. Speaking of which... when he found Rainbow Dash already at the finish line, it was dark when he got there. She was fast asleep. He didn't dare waking her up again.  Defeated, he went home and went to bed, Twilight nagging something about being home late and blah blah blah. Just as he was about to go to sleep, he realized something and face clawed. He could of just asked Fluttershy.
