Time is twenty minutes past five in the afternoon.

Good news, after using the device on Two-five-nine in my own office it rendered him unconscious. Thanks to the notes from the previous users I used the time to prepare my trigger word. After roughly one minute he regained consciousness and was in what appeared to be a state akin to those under hypnosis, speaking the trigger word I then conducted a few small tests to see if it really worked. I can conclude it was a success and after ordering him to go to sleep I had security place him back in his cell.

I would have used the device in my lab but it was forcefully requisitioned by another group, apparently it has something to with a suspected upcoming MAS inspection. Whomever they send, they better ‘inspect’ quite lightly if they value a long life.

Time is one minute to two in the afternoon.

I’ve forgotten to mention on crucial aspect of the Mesmer device and the effect it had on Two-five-nine, shortly before actually ordering the subject to sleep I had called security in already. I asked one of them to say a phrase which contained the trigger word to see if the subject would react. It was curious to note that Two-five-nine made no response at all, when I spoke the same phrase the subject did comply. I think I can say that from the jolt the device gave his brain might’ve made him more receptive to my commands than others, I’ll have to inform Trueblood of this.

Anyway, tomorrow he will wake up and hopefully have no memory what occurred today, then we will begin the experiment. Now I must be off, the final preparations are needed there must be no slipups. Forms to fill, ponies to shout at, chemicals to prepare and most importantly coffee to make.
