No More Singing

Adagio Dazzle crawled out of the crater, left in the wake of her defeat at the hands of Princes Twilight Sparkle and her friends, her eyes watering with tears. In a last ditch attempt to cast a spell she began to sing. Her siren powers no more, her music faded as a child with stage fright would.

"I gave you a second chance, Adagio" Twilight sighed down to the siren, like a disappointed mother "you could have turned your lives around with a fresh start" she shook her head "Instead you chose to squander it, use dirty tricks to regain your old power and abuse it to try and take Equestria"

"I'm sorry" Adagio whimpered "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry" she continued to sob her head as low as the ground would let her

"Even if all of Equestria were to forgive you, I never could. For you betrayed my trust and abused my mercy. You've cheated too many and too much damage has been done for me to just let you three go again, even the mirror portal has rejected you, so I cannot send you back to the Other World"

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry" continued Adagio and then followed by her fellow sirens

"I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY" they call cried in unison their pleas falling on deaf ears as the bearers of the elements hovered higher above the fallen trio.

Twilight whispered to herself "Fool me once, shame on you........

Fool me twice shame on me!!!!!!!!" her voice growing to royal canterlot volume silencing the three defeated girls, who stopped whimpering and began to huddle together at the bottom of the crater, cowering from the Alicorn as they hummed quietly to each other for comfort.

"NO MORE SINGING!!!!!!!!" Twilight called down to them her eyes glowing with alicorn magic. "NO MORE CHANCES!!!!!!"

Twilight lifted the now silent trio out of the crater, and engulfed it with magic before it melted away into the void, purple magic encircling the edges of the hole before swirling down into the nothingness and seemingly pulling an image out of it.

The image portrayed a dismal place, jagged spires of rock with twisted stairways leading to them, the tops of the spires opened up like claws reaching upward  as if the land itself were desperate for company. in the center of these claw like spires, cages host to a whole manner of horrific creatures were being tormented by guards seemingly more monstrous than their prisoners. The whole scene making the Abyss feel more welcoming.

"Whaa...what is that?!" Sonata cried

"That is the Portal to Tartaurus" The Alicorn stoicly replied

"You can't throw us in there!" Aria joined  "Adagio, DO SOMETHING!"

Adagio just kept quite, staring blankly into the portal in which her tears began to fall, she had accepted what was to happen next. Her companions on the other hand........

"PLEASE NO!"  Sonata continued to wail "PLEASE! NO! NO! ADAGIO, HELP ME!"

Adagio did not respond

"ADAGIO! ADAGIO! ADAGI-AAAAAHHHH!!!" Sonata was cut off as she was dropped into the portal, futilely flailing her arms and legs as she decended into the pit.

"SONATAAAAAAA!" Aria screamed, frantically reaching down too late for her friend "YOU DIDN"T HAVE TO DO THAT!" she turned up to face Twilight "BRING HER BACK!" she demanded, putting on a brave face while trying, and failing, to hold back her tears.

Adagio still remaining still and silent to all of this.

"ADAGIO! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" Aria's rage now directed at her fellow siren "I HATE YOU!" tears flowing and legs kicking "I HATE YOU FOREVER!" were Aria's last words before the labyrinth of horror swallowing her.

Alone over the portal to Tartaurus, Adagio, broken, stripped of everything and condemned to hell, took one last look at the godlike mare, who held her fate in her hooves.

Before being swallowed by the doorway the last thing Adagio saw was the vengeful godlike glower of Twilight's face turn into a regretful one as the doorway slowly closed.

The Princess of Friendship sobbed to herself

                                                                                               "no more chances............."
