No More Singing

Falling for what seemed like eternity, Sonata was caught mid air by two winged, humanoid demons.

"NO!" Sonata was scared of these things more than falling "LET ME GO!" she wailed

the green demon just smiled and nodded to the purple one, both dropping Sonata with a "As you wish princess" with a playful but mocking voice of unison.

Sonata plummeted once again for a while before being caught by the pair. "Think we'd let you get out that easily, Princess? You are staying here to be punished for your crimes till the day you die, as if we'd let you leave so soon, where is the fun in that?" chortled the pair in unison again.

Sonata responded with more struggling and was met with a firmer grip on her limbs. The foul creatures damn near clawing open her soft skin.

"STOP IT! OW! YOU ARE HURTING MEEEEEE!" Sonata's cries were downing out most of the roars from the creatures in the pits below. "ADAGIO! ARIA! SAVE ME FROM THESE THI-ngphmf!" a leathery hand pressed against her mouth.

"How rude princess" the Demons hissed "We are not things, we are your hosts and you are a guest to our wonderful home"

the green one suddenly yelped in pain "Gah! you little!" he lost his playful tone and replaced it with a sickly growl "She bit me"

Sonata dropped again, but only a mere meter or so, landing with a hard plonk on her back. Winded she could do nothing as she was seized by another dozen Demons who quickly, tightly and efficiently restrained her with various chains and shackles.

Still gasping for air, Sonata almost inhaled the gag used to muzzle her, a thick cloth strip soaked in a sticky tar-like goo was tightly wrapped around her mouth and tied behind her head. The gag smelled something fierce and tasted worse too boot, but they made sure she could still breath, if just barely.

"Phnphmf hrr hnngmph!?" Sonata's protests were rendered unintelligible gibberish. "Hhhnmmph! hgnmph nmphgn " her attempts at speech were reduced to muffled whimpers as she gave up.

"Looks like you've worn out your welcome, Princess" a new Demon approached " We take you in like a stray and how do you repay us? How rude of you to bite like a feral animal" he smirked "Well we can't send you back up there now can we? You're stuck with us" he turned around and began to walk away "Take her to her new home"

Sonata struggled as much as her binds would allow, before the green demon got frustrated and clobbered the back of her head with a truncheon.

Stars cascaded across Sonata's vision before a curtain shadow slipped over her consciousness, the ringing of her ears mixed with the maniacal laughter of the green demon.
