Angel Glider
Chapter 1
Load Full StoryNext ChapterFrost held her small 3 year old filly in her hooves pressed against her chest. The foal's eyes were red from crying, crying for her. Her brother had kept the little filly for a week because Frost needed to go on a work trip and she just came back, at 2 AM, to him trying to get Angel, the filly, back to sleep. Frost nuzzled the little foal, who was drifting off to sleep.
Looking at the filly, she saw that she was happy, which made her smile. She looked at her brother, who was=s smiling at the scene.
"She wanted you, a lot. She cried for you at night, for the last four nights." He looked at the ground.
Frost looked at the filly, then sleeping in her grasp, it's small little head trying to get further into her fur. "I'm so sorry, little Angel. I promise ill try to never leave you again." She nuzzled her, hugging her tightly.
"I hate my boss." She said with an angry expression.
"Why is that?" Her brother asked with a curious expression.
"I told him that Angel needs me, but he said that work is more important than Angel, and said that if I didn't come on this trip I would be fired. He acted as if my little filly wasn't important, and I could not argue." She nuzzled her foal with a couple tears in her eyes.
"Why don't you quit and let me deal with him?" He asked with an angry expression. He was always there for her.
"I need to find another job before I quit." she answered.
"Well, I need to go. I would stay longer, but I need to get to sleep, and you do too. I have a long day of work tomorrow and you need to make Angel know you are still there for her." He nuzzled the side of her muzzle and said, "I love you."
She nodded and nuzzled back, "I love you too, Wind." she said after which trotted out the door.
After she saw that he was successfully in the sky and flying back to his home, she locked the door and trotted to my room, still holding Angel. She didn't like the idea of her sleeping alone in a crib, so she always slept with her in Frost's bed, making sure she was safe. She turned off the hallway light and trotted into her room, turning on the TV and going on the HBO channel. She layed down in her bed and hugged Angel close, pulling up mher covers after using her wings to embrace the filly. "Good night, Angel." She fell asleep.

She yawned and felt a shuffling of fur and hooves in her wing embrace. Looking down, she saw mher filly's beautiful purple eyes staring back at her.
"Mommy." Angel said and tried to hug her with her small hooves. "I wuv you mommy." She said in her cute little filly voice.
"I love you too, little Angel." She hugged the filly close.
Suddenly, there was a noise at the front door and Frost heard the door open. Not knowing who was coming inside, she hid under the covers of her bed and hugged Angel tightly. A couple minutes later she felt a pony get into the bed, and wrap their hooves around her.
"Hi, Glider." A very familiar masculine voice said to her.
She instantly relaxed and hugged her husband, who was the father of Angel, and said, "Nighty, I thought you weren't coming home until after Hearth's Warming." She nuzzled him and unwrapped her wings around Angel, who was then pressed between Frost and her busband, Night Feather.
"I was able to convince my boss to let me come back a day early, because he wanted me to be with my family for Hearth's Warming, and I wanted to see my two favorite girls in the whole world." He wrapped his wings around her and hugged her tightly.
"D'aww. You are so flattering." She turned around in his hooves until her back and wings were on his chest, and his hooves were wrapped around her and Angel.
"Daddy," the little filly said, hugging one of Night's hooves.
Night chuckled, placing his muzzle over Frost's head, knowing that she loved when he did that.
"It has been at least a month and a half since we all have been together at the same time."
"Mommy, I need to go tinkle!" Angel said, her hind legs shaking.
Frost got up from the bed and placed Angel on the ground, after which she darted to the bathroom. "Nighty, I am going to make some coffee. You want some?"
Night stood up after her and said, "I will make the coffee while you spend some more time with Angel."
She smiled at him greatfully and there was a flush and the sound of somepony washing their hooves. She waited as her daughter ran around the corner and tackled her, nuzzling into her fur. She hugged her, feeling content.
She had wanted a little filly to love and pass her genes to. It was her dream to be a mother and raise a foal, and she had gotten the perfect little filly she had always wanted.
She nuzzled Angel's mane, feeling the urge to cry tears of joy at having a filly who loved her.
"The coffee is done!" She heard Night yell and she trotted out of her room to go get some coffee, her filly trotting between her forelegs.
She trotted into the kitchen, finding a cup of coffee and a couple slices of buttered toast for her and a plate with syrup covered waffles for Angel. The filly squeaked with joy and hugged her father as Frost took a sip of the caffinated beverage. "I am glad that Night Glider invited me to your family reunion." She said leaning into Night, watching Angel, who was then eating her waffles.
"Me too. We wouldn't have met if she invited that other mare." He said, one wing wrapped around Frost's shoulders.
"We wouldn't have Angel. If she had not overlooked me yelling at her the week before, this would have never happened." She pointed her hoof around the house, ending on Angel.
"I love you." He said to her.
"I love you too."
