---2 Months Later---

Night Feather snored peacefully, sleeping in on his off day. An alarm clock suddenly sounded, waking him up, and he groaned shutting it off. He noticed that his wife was gone and remembered that she was at work for the day.

"I think I'm missing something," he said, almost fully awake, looking around until he felt something move in his hooves. "I know what I missed." He looked down on Angel Glider, who was yawning cutely as she woke up.

"Daddy?" She looked at his midnight dark blue hooves wrapped  around her chest.

"Yes, Angel, I'm here." He smiled and nuzzled the top of the little filly's head.

"I need to tinkle." She whined.

Night let go of Angel as she jumped up and ran into her parents' master bathroom. He stood up and started to trot into the kitchen, taking some coffee from leftovers his wife had left him. Sipping the beverage, he waited  for Angel to finish and read from a newspaper on the countertop.

"Hey, daddy, can I have one of your donuts?" She asked.

He looked at the little filly and smiled, saying "Ok." He never let anypony other than Angel and Frost have his donuts.

Angel beamed and ran to the refridgerator, grabbing the donut box and ran to the counter to put the box down. When she tried to open the box, one of her hind legs slipped and she fell on her back, her wing hit in the fall. She started to cry from the pain.

Night's parenting instincts took over, and he went to his filly, picking her up and holding her. "Shhh.... it's ok..."

"I-it hurts... My wing h-hurts," She cries.

He carried her to a couch and lay her on her belly, examining her hurt wing. He was a wonderbolt, and had dealt with this many times. He determined that the wing was bruised, and pressed some ice to it.

"Is my wing broken?"" She asked with tears in her eyes. "Will I ever fly again?"

The stallion picked her up and placed her on his chest. "Of course not, my little Angel. It is only bruised. It should heal in a couple days and you will feel all better." He hugged her, taking care not to put pressure on the bruised wing.

Angel relaxed and lay on her father, lovingly nuzzling his chest.

Night was happy, feeling his daughter, who was a mix of him and his wife, so close to him. He carried the donut box in one wing asking, "Do you still want that donut?"

She nodded happily, reaching out as her daddy gave her the donut.

Night chuckled as he felt little crumbs of glaze donut fall on his upper chest and neck from his daughter's eager chewing.

After she was finish, Night got up and placed Angel back on the couch, wrapping her wing with an ice pack. "Do you want to watch TV?" He asked.

"Can we watch The Garfield Show?" She asked with pleading eyes.

"Of course." Night grabbed the remote and turned on the Garfield Show. He lay down on the couch Angel jumped up onto the couch next to him, snuggling into his fur while watching the humerous TV show.

Both of them soon started to fall asleep.

---6 Hours Later---

Frost Glider unlocked the door, eager to see her daughter and husband. Walking in, she decided she would surprise them with her early arrival.  She snuck around the house, looking for them somewhere. When she went into the family room, she almost d'awwed at the father and daughter sleeping together on the couch. She took a camera out and snapped a photo, looking at the good picture.

After she was done, she noticed that she was tired, so she got on the couch and almost instantly fell asleep after picking up the filly and laying her on top of her belly.

---1 Hour Later---

Night woke up, seeing the TV was still on, and it was dark outside, he knew that Frost had to have been home by then. He then noticed that she was sleeping next to him, their daughter in her hooves.

"M-mommy..."The filly mumbled in her sleep, hugging her mommy in the real world.

Frost woke up from Night moving and kissed him.

Night kissed back for a few moments before breaking the kiss. "I love you." He said.

"I love you more." Frost said, blowing a raspberry at Night.

Angel opened her eyes, seeing Frost and said, "Mommy!"

Frost hugged her filly, noticing the bandages. "What happened?" She asked with worry in her voice.

"She bruised her wing." Night said back.

"I'm so sorry." Frost felt a few tears come out of her eyes from her daughter being hurt.

"Mommy, why are you crying?" The filly hugged her mother, crying a little with her.

"Shh... it's ok..." Night hugged both the mare and filly and rocked them back and forth. They stayed like that for a few minutes, night holding them.

"I don't want my little filly to be hurt." Frost said, still crying a little.

"You two, comfort each other while I go make some hayburgers."

Angel, no longer crying at the moment, nuzzled her mother's cheek, which calmed the dark purple-coated mare a lot.

Frost softly snored as she fell asleep again, now being hugged back by her own offspring.

Angel got out of her mother's grasp and went into the kitchen. "Mommy is asleep, daddy. Can I help you cook? She watched her daddy place hay patties on the griddle in the kitchen.

"No, I don't need any help. You can go play your video games or watch TV with your mother." He continued to cook and put hay fries in the oven.

Angel trotted into the game room and started to play on her Xbox Next.

About 15 minutes later, Night had the table set with plates full of delicious food. "Angel! Wake up your mom! Dinner's ready!"

Angel ran out of game room and into the living room. Instead of shaking her mommy awake and making her grumpy, she did it the way her mom liked it. She got back into her mom's hug and started to nuzzle her neck.

Her mom giggled because it tickled. "What?" she asked.

"Dinner is ready." The filly smiled and kissed her mom on the cheek.

Frost stood up and stretched while the little filly darted into the dining room where her dad was and sat down in her normal seat. Frost joined them, sitting in her seat and taking a bite out of her hayburger.

"Feeling better?" Her husband asked.

"Mhm." She said as the amazing flavor of his food hit her taste buds.

The family of three talked about their days and when they were finished, Frost cleaned the dishes and cleaned the table while Night spent time with Angel.

"Are you going to be ok sleeping in your bed tonight?" He asked Angel.

"Yes daddy, I will be ok." She said with a smile.

About thirty minutes later, both parents sat next to Angel's bed.

"Good night, my little Angel. We won't be here in the morning tomorrow so Uncle Windy will be watching you." Frost said with a small smile.

Angel looked a little hurt from the news of her mommy and daddy leaving.

"Don't worry. I told him to throw the frisbee with you some time tomorrow." Night gave a smile.

Both of the parents gave the filly a kiss before turning the lights off and leaving the room. When they made it to their room they closed the door and Night carried Frost bridal style to the bed and placed her in the bed, turning on a romance movie and started to make out. Night's hoof started to trail his hoof down her chest and down in between her legs.

An amazing thing happened that night.
