Twilight Sparkle and her friends have been through so much in their lives. They faced Nightmare Moon and freed Princess Luna, granting her redemption. They foiled Discord's second coming and prevented his new age of chaos. They faced down the Changeling forces of Queen Chrysalis and played a part in her downfall. They helped save the Crystal Empire from falling back into the clutches of the tyrannical King Sombra.

This time, however, they will be thrusted into a conflict of alien proportions.

Optimus Primal and his crew were tasked with one mission: Hunt down Megatron and bring him to justice. However, things took an unexpected turn and now both factions are marooned on an unknown planet inhabited by Ponies with magical abilities. To add to this, the planet is rich with Energon caches. The Maximals must now battle the Predacons and prevent them from gathering enough resources to take over the galaxy.

And they won't be in this fight alone.

Let the battle be here, on this strange magical world. And let it be called Beast Wars!
