The beginning of the rest of my life

The day was like any other. I was working on one of my jobs as an at home programmer, or more specifically finishing the job of bug fixing the program I was given to work with yesterday. Once I was finished I sent the product to my contractor and started checking the internet to sate my boredom.

Once there was nothing left on the internet to sate my boredom I decided to play an old solo roleplay of mine. Imagining what my mlp oc is doing.

Which is trying to fix his TARDIS.

My oc, as well as my presence in the fandom is something I like to keep anonymous.

Gavros was trying to fix his machine, as it couldn’t leave equestria. He could leave, but not with his TARDIS. He found an easier way of doing it. With a reverse engineered mirror portal!

It took five long years, or ten seconds for starswirl (thank time travel).

But that’s beside the point. The point is, around then a flash of green light knocked me unconscious.

I found myself walking through a forest. I had no idea where I was going but, I somehow knew that I was heading in the right direction.

I entered a clearing with an old rusty shed in the middle.

Realizing what it was, I checked if the door was unlocked. To my surprise it was.

I entered to find Gavros looking at a monitor. It just said it was nine thirty two in the morning everywhere, everywhen.

I looked around.

“Did you break the universe again?” I asked, as this would make it the fifth time he did that.

He looked to me then spoke.

“No, not this time… This happened on your side, and this is not just affecting you. Its affecting around a million different universes at once, including yours, but from what I can tell you're the black sheep in this.”

Thinking about what that meant, I asked the big question.

“What’s going on?”

Gavros was blunt.

“You are turning into me.”

When I awoke and had a full memory of the dream. I knew something was up. As not only have I never dreamed of Gavros, I have also never remembered an entire dream, no matter how short it is.

So I went into the bathroom and looked into the mirror. I gasped. My eyes had turned to the crimson red of Gavros’ eyes.

As someone who is sensible, I did the only thing I knew.

I knocked the mirror four times and waited.

Every other time nothing happened in my mind. Gavros heard it he, but just didn’t want to mess up the multiverse by destroying my view of him as a creation of mine(which he is. Both of our views of the multiverse say all fiction exists somewhere). But this time is different.

The charcoal gray fedora flying out of the mirror was all I needed to know my favorite griffon was finally coming to visit.
