Wednesday, 15th April. Everyone wears glasses for no reason day. (Except for Twilight and Fluttershy who actually need them. So it's not for no reason.)
Fluttershy and Twilight walked out of school, laughing and stoof. The two had just gotten out of class and were walking out the front of the school to the bus stop. As the two walked out of the front doors, Fluttershy started explaining to Twilight her new idea for a story. It was about if a particular computer software turned into a unicorn-person and was bullied by a bunch of people, etc.
As they passed a joining footpath, their friend Pinkie Pie bounced out from said footpath, carrying some mysterious foil package from her food class, her nose and moustache glasses covered in food.
"Hey Pinkie! What you got there?!" Twilight asked, looking over at her hungry looking pink friend.
"Oh, just some sweet and sour meatba-"
Pinkie cut off as Twilight slammed right into a lamppost.
"Oh my goodness! Are you all right, Twi?" Fluttershy asked, looking worried and trying to fight back a little giggle.
"BWA HAHAHAHA!" Pinkie didn't even try one bit
"I'm fine, really!" Twilight said, checking her glasses to see if they were damaged. "In fact, I guess it is pretty funny!"
Fluttershy giggled a bit before noticing Rainbow Dash coming up behind them.
"Hey, Dashie, over here!" Pinkie yelled!
"What's up, Pinks?"
"Guess what! Twi just walked straight into that lamp-post back there!"
Rainbow almost fell over in laughter. "Oh my gosh , that is just too good!"
"Okay, okay, enough you two, it was all very funny, but Rainbow, isn't that our bus?" The four were at the bottom of the hill, and RD and Flutters' bus was right in front of them.
"Huh, I guess it is! See you two!"
The two got on the bus, RD still wiping a tear from her eye.

Raindrops was a smart pony, everypony knew that. In fact, she was the pony that created a time spell for non-unicorns, a potion to cure any disease, a three headed dog to guard Tartarus.
And she created a full grown mare with a single spell, and she wasn't even a unicorn!!! The deep blue mare wasn't even her best creation...
...It was closer to her worst.
The unicorn, who Raindrops called "Windows 8" for her cutie mark of a window shape and a number 8, was a little, how to say, annoying.
She never did what she was told and was expelled from literally 17 different schools before Raindrops decided to homeschool her.
Everypony poked fun at Windows behind her back (except Fluttershy), and Windows got a spark from her horn whenever somepony did. A useful feature of the ~~app~~ spark system was that she could tell exactly where the pony was at that moment.

One day, Windows was walking through Ponyville, sparking every few steps. As she walked down the street, she heard mutters.
"There goes Windows 8, just look at her terrible mane!"
"Ugh, she really needs a hooficure!"
"Really, seesteir, you'd 'ave to pay me 100 bits to go near zat freak!"
"Makes sense Lotus, one wood not want to be seen near sat beast!"
"Her voith ith tho annoying! Thee thould have her tounge cut out so we don't have to lithen to her twenty-four theven!"
"I hope she steps in a puddle with socks on!"
"What does her cutie mark even mean! It makes even lees sense than DT and SS's combined!"
"Scootaloo, quit being so rude!"
"Have ya'll seen her horn spark though, it's as if she were a lighter!"
Windows just kept shopping. Buying her groceries, selling her potions, and getting horrible prices for everything, sparking all the way.
She just kept getting angrier and angrier, until she ~~flipped out and tried to kill them with a hammer!~~ finally burst.
"I swear on Celestia's crown that I will erase the existence of the next pony to insult me!" She yelled, her horn glowing brightly.
The whole street went silent.
And then, her horn sparked.
Fulfilling her promise she cast the spell, unaware that the spark had come from, who else, but Raindrops.
The whole universe shattered into a million, gazillion pieces.
You see, Windows cast a spell to erase Raindrops's existence, but Raindrops created Windows, so her not existing means Windows couldn't exist so she can't cast the spell, etcetera, etcetera.
So the universe imploded and they all died the end!

I had this idea during a very weird conversation with my friend, right before she bumped straight into a lamp post. (True story)

"Can't believe I got this journal so cheap!" Twilight said, levitating said book in front of her "One bit! Wonder why it says 'Death Note' on the cover... Probably nothing."
She teleported back to her castle in a magenta flash appearing in her bedroom.
"I can use this to write letters to the princess! Well, here goes!"
She poised her quill above the page, thinking about what she should write, then decided to tell the sun god about how she got the book.
Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I went to the shops with Pinkie Pie and Rarity.
Rainbow Dash refused to shop with us and the other two were busy.
Anyways, Rarity wanted to get something for Spike and Pinkie was planning a party to celebrate Prince Blueblood and Flash Sentry's engagement. After they got what they needed, they went back to Ponyville, and I trotted off into a small side street, which my Brother, Shining Armour, told me had great deals.
I found a new journal for only one bit!

And with that, the princess of friendship dropped dead.
