The disappearance of the queen

I landed about two miles from Ponyville, unto a farm with an orange mare staring me down.  "So you going to clean that mess you left back there," the orange mare said.  "Oh, right sorry about that, didn't exactly plan on that landing," I said giving a foolish grin in the process.  After I got up, and dusted myself off, the orange mare held a hoof to me, picked me up, and handed me a broom.  "Miss, what should I sweep up for you," I said with an eager smile. "Glad your so eager to work, can you sweep the barn you put a hole into," The mare said holding a hoof to the barn.  "Before I do the sweeping, can I get your name," I said.  "My name is Applejack, pleasure to meet you," Applejack said.  "I'm Midnight Note, the pleasure is all mine," I said.  The orange mare got her own broom to help me sweep.  "Miss Applejack, you don't need to help me sweep, I can sweep myself," I said.  Nonsense, I always help someone who could use it, especially when it involves my farm," Applejack said with a smile.  "Alright miss, but it was my own mistake," I said.  (several minutes of sweeping later).  "Alright looks like we're done," Applejack said while wiping the sweat from her face.  "So, Applejack what do you do here," I said.  "I fix up the farm, buck the apples, and other tasks that need doing on the farm," Applejack said.  "What did you do before you crashed into the barn," Applejack said chuckling to herself.  "I used to be the head musician and servant of Queen Chrysalis," I said.  "Queen Chrysalis!" Applejack shouted.  "You mean the queen that attempted to kill my friends, the princess, and myself," Applejack stated.  "Yes the Queen Chrysalis, of the changelings," I said confused at applejack's reaction.  "I have to go," Applejack said.  "Alright, but was it something I told you that shocked you so bad," I said confused.  "No, its nothing, I just need to talk with a friend," Applejack said leaving.  "Goodbye," I said quietly.  As she left, I decided to take a look around the farm.  "Intruder," A young filly said while bucking my stomach.  "Ow, that really hurt, young filly," I said as I got up from the ground.  "Your an intruder, you've come to steal the doll my brother gave to me," the filly said.  "Hey mister, I see you don't have a cutie mark on your flank," the filly said.  "I don't little miss, I can't actually, I'm a changeling and we can't form natural cutie marks like you do," I said.  "What do you mean natural cutie mark" The filly said.  "I mean they can't be formed from natural talents, I can only form a cutie mark by changing my body structure to add that feature," I said, clearly seeing the fillies boredom. "Mister, whats your name," the filly said.  "I am Midnight Note, and yours," I said smiling at her.  "I'm Applebloom, sister to the king of the crop Applejack," Applebloom said.  "Yeah I just spoke to her, she kinda ran off though," I said giving a false smile.  As I was speaking to Applebloom, her sister came back with 5 other friends.  The one with the Rainbow colored hair, approached me and kicked me in the face.  "Ah what was that for," I said wiping my face with my hoof.  "Changeling, you came to come and kill us again did you," The rainbow haired pony said charging another kick.  "Wait Sugarcube, this changeling is different, he didn't attack me when we first met," Applejack said.  "So, the changeling could just be waiting to prepare an attack on us," The rainbow haired pony said.  "I swear that didn't plan an attack when I got here," I said as I took a step back.  "Then why are you here, sir?" A purple colored pony said to me.  "I'm looking for queen Chrysalis, she suddenly left yesterday, and the kingdom is in chaos," I said.  "I see, that makes sense, but we don't know anything about her disappearance," the purple colored pony said.  "Oh, but my friend told me that I could seek help in this town," I said disappointed.  "Look, I don't know if you know, but we don't have a good history with your queen," the purple colored pony said.  "Yeah I know, but I don't know what to do, the Queen has been acting weird ever since she lost at Canterlot and," I was stopped by the White colored pony putting her hoof on my mouth.  The pony removed her hoof and said, "darling, I bet you we can help you find your queen."  "Rarity what are you doing," the purple haired pony whispered to her friend.  "Twilight, I want to help him find his queen," Rarity whispered to Twilight.  "But don't you know that she was the one that nearly killed us all," Twilight said.  "Yes, but Discord also tried to kill us, but we let him in," Rarity whispered to Twilight.  "Fine, but I want him to live with me, He must know a lot about the changelings, and creatures near the area," Twilight whispered to Rarity.  "Alright, darling, if your so sure," Rarity whispered to Twilight.  "Alright, so we have decided, Midnight Note, you will be living with me," Twilight said.  "Alright, I'm fine with that," I said.  "But, on the condition that you share knowledge that you've accumulated being the head servant to the queen of changelings," Twilight said.  "I can share my knowledge with you, but can you promise you'll help me find Chrysalis," I said.  "I promise," Twilight said putting her hoof on her chest.
