The others quickly covered their ears from Fluttershy’s loud yell. That definitely caught Tenchi and Nobuyuki off guard.

“What’s wrong with her? It’s just grilled fish.” Said Nobuyuki. Tenchi punched his father’s arm for what he was about to point out.

“Dad, you forgot they were originally ponies. Have you ever thought before cooking that they don’t eat meat?” said Tenchi with a frustrated tone towards his father.

Nobuyuki looked embarrassed. It seems that he completely forgot that important detail about them. “Oops. Sorry about that. But how am I supposed to remember that when they look very human right in front of me.” He said while rubbing the back of his head.

The others went for Fluttershy to comfort he. “Are you okay there, Fluttershy?” asked Rainbow Dash who was the first to comfort her friend.

“I’m terribly sorry. It was just so sudden. I didn’t know humans actually eat meat. But I feel bad even more for the poor fishies.” Said Fluttershy in a tearful way while she sniffs hesitantly as she is about to cry.

“Oh, the poor dear. I can understand how Fluttershy feels about this. Serving us….ugh, cooked fish did caught us off guard, but Tenchi’s father didn’t mean no harm.” Said Rarity as she caresses Fluttershy’s hair to comfort her.

Tenchi had been watching the entire event happening. He knew something like this would happen, but this proves how Fluttershy loves animals even more. Ryo-Ohki was still held by Fluttershy as she meows concerningly as she tries to comfort her too.

Twilight sighed because of the situation but knows how to handle this. “Fluttershy, do you remember how you took care of Harry the Bear?” she asked.

“Oh, yes. Other than Angel Bunny, he is one of my most favorite animal friends to take care of.” Fluttershy responded.

“Good. Then do you remember that you sometimes give him fish too?”

“Yes… But I only do that whenever he doesn’t have any luck getting any on his own”

“Did you ever consider stopping to feed him any fish, even if it involves him taking some other animal’s life to feed his own?”

“Even if I hate it so much, no. It’s because I understand its part of nature.”

“In other words, you respected Harry’s natural diet, just like with all the other animals you care for.” Fluttershy nodded in agreement.

“Well, you have to implement the same with Tenchi and his family. Its seems that humans are mammals too from what I’ve seen so far, and I assume they eat any type of nourishment, even if its meat. These people have shown their kindness and generosity towards us even if we’re not of this world. It’s the least we can do for them”

Fluttershy sighed, finally understanding what Twilight was explaining and said, “Okay, Twilight. I’ll try. But next time I hope they tell us ahead of time if they plan to cook *shivers* meat and not eat in front of me.”

Twilight Sparkle switched her focus to Tenchi and Nobuyuki. “You heard that, right? Please do that for Fluttershy’s sake. But we do apologize for her sudden behavior.” she said.

They both look nervous as they look each at each other confusingly then Tenchi answered “Okay, I guess.”

Nobuyuki smiled nervously and rubs the back of his as he said, “We’ll make sure of that from now on. Again, sorry about my carelessness.”

Pinkie Pie looked happily relieved and said, “Yay! Glad that this is settled. Let’s eat.”. She then went back to her chair. “And since what Twilight said is true, you know what they say: eat like the humans eat.” She then picked up her grilled fish, lift it over her head and was about to put into her mouth.

Fluttershy flinched with a panicked squeak seeing Pinkie Pie about to eat it, but Applejack intervened while pressing her hand down on Pinkie’s forearm that’s holding the fish. “I understand whatcha’ saying, sugarcube. But I don’t think we should do that.” She said with a stern but nervous tone.

“I know your heart is in the right place, Pinkie. Nevertheless, we can’t risk ourselves eating substances that isn’t that we normally eat, especially if its meat. Who knows what effects would give towards us. Again, even though we’re humans on the outside, we’re still ponies on the inside.” Said Twilight to Pinkie. With a heavy sigh, Pinkie Pie places her fish back on her plate and nods in understanding.

“Awfully wise words, Twilight. No matter what happens, we need to keep our muzzles up and pull through this outcome.” Said Rarity.

“Uh, you mean chin, right?” intervened a nervous Tenchi as he points his chin to Rarity. “Oh…Right, I apologize for my in-correction, Tenchi. It’s hard to remember that you’re human while thinking like a pony.” Answered Rarity with a nervous smile.

“Alright, enough with the encouraging chit-chat. Let’s just eat. We’ve been starving for who knows how long.” Snapped Rainbow Dash. Everyone else agreed as they went back to their seats.

Tenchi and Nobuyuki put their palms together to wish to have their good meal but the girls were curious as to what they are doing.

“What are you doing? Meditating before a meal?” said Pinkie Pie who was the first to ask while placing her index finger to her mouth as a way to show her curiosity.

“It’s actually a mannerly way to begin a meal. You could say it’s a ritual of sorts to make sure we enjoy our food.” Answered Nobuyuki.

Pinkie Pie smiled happily and responded “Ooh, kinda like saying grace.”

“Do all humans do this?” asked Twilight Sparkle.

“Not exactly. You see, all of you are in a world composed of many countries, in which everyone is different in pretty much everything, from their culture to their appearances. Although it’s difficult for us to accept one another because of that, but we do manage to do it somehow.” Answered Tenchi.

“Fascinating, the way you explain it sounds like your world almost matches ours.” Said Rarity in such interest.

“If you don’t mind, is it alright we show you how we pay our respects for our meal and then show us yours?” asked Twilight.

Tenchi and Nobuyuki looked at each other in curiosity, then looked back at them with their own smiles. “I don’t see why not. Of course you can.” Answered Tenchi.

Twilight showed an eager look then nodded to the others. “Okay, girls, let’s show them how we do this.” She said, then everyone held hands together.

“We show our gratitude on this prosperous meal to everything life has given us.” They said in unison.

“We give thanks to the Sun, raised by Princess Celestia, that gives us warmth.” Said Twilight Sparkle.

“We give thanks to our friends and family, for being there whenever we need them.” Said Pinkie Pie.

“We give thanks to the earth and the trees, for providing us farming folk.” Said Applejack.

“We give thanks to the skies, for being a place for Pegasi to fly and feel free.” Said Rainbow Dash.

“We give thanks to the animals, for making nature look so wonderful.” Said Fluttershy.

“And we give thanks to the Moon, raised by Princess Luna, that gives us the light of night.” said Rarity.

“As we expressed our gratitude, we will enjoy our meal and never forsake on what we have… by the magic of friendship.” They said in unison once more and all finished with a nod of their heads.

After the girls were done saying their grace, Tenchi and Nobuyuki were somewhat in awe. Of course, they are familiar of how people of different cultures showed their thanks for everything that they have. But somehow, their way had more meaning behind it.

“That was very good, girls. Honestly, its little weird hearing that the Sun and the Moon in your world are raised by your rulers, I assume, but nevertheless its very thoughtful.” Said Nobuyuki. Tenchi nodded in agreement.

“Why thank you, Mr. Masaki. I’m glad to hear that you two thought of it that way. Now would you kindly show us your way?” responded Twilight. The others focused on them as they are eager to know.

“It’s almost the same as yours, but this how our people here in Japan do it. We place our palms together then give our prayers in our mind. We make sure we give a good moment for everyone in the household to finish their prayers.” Explained Tenchi.

“And once we’re done, we say ‘Itadakimasu’ to finish it and begin eating.” Said Nobuyuki with a grin.

Twilight looked a little confused then said, “Huh? ‘Itadakimasu’? What does that mean? Weird that the stones didn’t translate that word.”

Applejack looked confident and decided to ease Twilight’s confusion. “Honey, even your stones know they don’t need to tell us what that means. It’s pretty much saying ‘Let’s eat.’ Am I right, Mr. Masaki?”

Nobuyuki responded with a nod then said, “Good guess. Anyway, let’s just eat now before our food goes cold.”

Everyone else nodded and the girls said in unison “Itadakimasu” in such a cute way. Tenchi and Nobuyuki smiled from hearing them say it, then they were about to eat their rice. But they performed a double take as they witnessed how the girls were eating their meals. They were all holding their bowls and gnaw into it…as any other animal would do. But Rarity was the only one using a fork for the rice, which was given for everyone else with their own.

“Guess this is to be expected since they claimed they are ponies.” Said Tenchi with a nervous smile and a hesitant laugh.

But Nobuyuki is not amused. Even when he can be lazy, a bit clumsy, and somewhat of a pervert, he is not to be taken likely while he is the man of the house. Nobuyuki cleared his throat as a gesture in trying to get the girls’ attention but no one took notice. He then cleared his throat even louder.

“Are you getting sick, Mr. Masaki, or do you need some water?” answered Rainbow Dash.

“No…uh, Rainbow Dash, right? I’m not sick. I’m only trying to get you and the others’ attention.

“How come?” she responded. The others stopped midway of eating their meal and gave their attention him. Nobuyuki gave a displeased look at them then silently present his bowl just to point out their way of eating.

Rarity took to think of what he is trying to say but realized what it was as she glanced at her table manners differentiating to the others. The others look somewhat confused but Rarity decided to explain to them. “Girls, the reason Mr. Masaki is displeased is because of our table manners.” She said.

“What’s so wrong about it then? Said Rainbow Dash in a huff.

“We need to remind ourselves that we’re not ponies anymore, for the time being that is. If we’re going to be living as humans, we need to behave like them as well if the opportunity of going out in public arrives. And to start on the right path, we need improve our table manners.” Said Rarity in a concerned tone. The others quickly took notice of what Rarity is trying point out and now feel awkward of this.

“You might be right, Rarity. The least we can do while we’re here is learn how to blend in so to speak with the humans if that moment arrives.” Said Twilight nervously.

“Especially if we don’t want to embarrass ourselves…” said Fluttershy.

“Well, the first thing we should do is begin eating by using our utensils. These forks that Mr. Masaki has provided us should suffice. Is there anyone besides myself who hasn’t had any knowledge of using one?” said Rarity.

“You don’t have to remind us, Little Miss Proper. Even if most of us don’t’ have the most perfect table manners as you are, us ‘human-in-training’ ponies at least know how to use a fork, spoon, or any darn simple tool if we had the opportunity.” Said Applejack with a groan.

“I’m sorry if I hurt your pride, Applejack, but I’m only asking for the wellbeing of the group. But if you’re so confident, then you and the others show me that you can.”

“Fine, I will.” Said Applejack seriously. She picked up her fork , dug it into her rice, scooped a bit of it, place it into her mouth, closed it, and pulled the fork out of her mouth. As she chew her rice, she gestured Rarity that she proved herself.

“Well, I guess you proved yourself, but your table manners still need much more improvement. Anyone else?” said Rarity as she takes notice of the others. Fluttershy nervously picked up her fork and did the same like Applejack, but in a hesitant way, but managed to have a portion of the rice in her mouth and started to build some confidence in her. Rarity look pleased with Fluttershy’s demonstration and clapped. It was Twilight Sparkle’s turn and she had no trouble using her fork. “Very good, Twilight. I’m guessing Princess Celestia taught you table manners as well?” she asked.

“Not to brag, but she did showed me the different types of utensils and proper etiquette for those times I had banquets with her.” Answered Twilight with confidence.

Pinkie Pie picked up hers then looks at it closely with one eye and her tongue out. She then shrugged her shoulders and used her fork with no problem. “Easy-peasy.” She said with a smile.

Rainbow Dash heavily sighed and said, “Do I have to do this?”

“If you do not want to embarrass yourself in front of anyone, then you certainly must do.” Retorted Rarity.

With a annoyed “Fine,” Rainbow Dash took her fork then carelessly used it. She had a normal portion of the rice.

“That wasn’t so bad now, was it?” said Rarity proving her point.

“Whatever, at least the rice is still good. I’m really impressed how it tastes is even it feels so sticky.” Said Rainbow Dash.

“It must be from the way it was cooked. I can guess it was steamed, making the moisture build up for the rice to absorb, giving it that adhesive texture.” Said Twilight.

“Maybe you should focus more on eating than giving lectures, Sugarcube.” Said Applejack nervously. Twilight smiled embarrassingly while rubbing the back of her neck. Nobuyuki feel satisfied that they are now behaving better.

“Don’t worry. You girls will get used to it soon. But I hope that you’re enjoying your meals.” Said Tenchi.

“We really do, Tenchi."

“Thank you and your father for giving us such a wonderful meal.” Said Fluttershy with a calm smile as she gives a carrot to Ryo-Ohki to feed her.

Little by little, the girls are starting to get accustomed to eating their meal. Pinkie Pie looks curiously at both her bowl of rice and her cup of miso soup. She then came up with an idea and decided to pour her remaining rice into the soup. She then took a taste and showed such an expression of enjoyment. “Wowee-zowee! You guys, you have got to try mixing the rice into the soup! It tastes even much better.” She said.

Rainbow Dash took notice of Pinkie’s advice and decided to do it herself. She then took the taste and was also impressed. “She’s right! Never knew the taste could be so awesome.” Said Rainbow.

Tenchi and Nobuyuki then realized what’s going and felt nervous on the girls’ doings, although it’s not as bad as how their earlier table manners were. Applejack and Twilight were the only ones who tried for their own reasons: Twilight for being curious to confirm Pinkie Pie’s idea is true; and Applejack just wanting to make her meal taste better.

“Hoo-wee! That is some good stuff right there.” Said Applejack looking impressed.

“Well, it is obvious that mixing two items would deliver better results most of the time.” Said Twilight.

Rarity and Fluttershy were the only ones who didn’t tried Pinkie’s idea.

“How come you two are not trying it.” Asked Rainbow Dash.

“As much as I would like to try Pinkie’s idea, I don’t think its mannerly to do such thing. Actually, I think it’s simply childish. I prefer taking a bite of my rice then a sip of my soup in that order, thank you very much.” Answered Rarity with a huff.

“I prefer to be safe and keep my meal as it is. Sorry about that.” Said Fluttershy in such a cute yet shy manner.

“Well, at least everyone is enjoying their meal.” Said Nobuyuki.

Then Rainbow Dash took notice of Nobuyuki’s chopsticks. “Mr. Masaki? What are those?” she asked.

Nobuyuki then look at his chopsticks then answered Rainbow Dash, “You mean these? They are chopsticks. This is what we use as utensils instead of forks, it’s part of our country’s culture.”

Rainbow Dash then continued still showing her curiosity. “Really? That’s kinda cool. But how come you haven’t given us some?”

Nobuyuki rubbed the back of his head nervously then he said, “Not to be rude, but since you were ponies and all, I thought it will be easier for you to use forks instead.”

Rainbow Dash then smirked with confidence. “Is this a challenge now, huh? Alright, let me use them. If any human can do it, then I can too.” The other girls sure look with concern at each other.

“Is this alright, Rainbow? I mean, it’s enough that we can use forks and this is just our first meal here.” Said Twilight.

Applejack then place her hand on Twilight Sparkle’s shoulder then shook her head. “It’s no use, Twilight. Let her be. You know how Rainbow Dash is. Once she sees a challenge in front of her, she’ll take it head-on no matter what.” She said. Nobuyuki shrugged his shoulders and looks at Tenchi about the situation. Tenchi sighed then went for a new pair of chopsticks and gave it to Rainbow. She took hold of them, one on each hand then looked at one of them then the other by moving her eyes back and forth.

“Alright, what’s the first thing I need to do.” She asked.

Tenchi demonstrated how are chopsticks are held and he said “First off, you have to hold them like this.”

She then attempted to hold them like Tenchi does. “Now how you use them to pick and hold stuff?” she asked.

“You then move the fingers you’re using that are holding on to the stick and try to make it clasp to the other stick.” He answered and then demonstrated doing that as well.

“Okay” with that said, Rainbow Dash tried to do that as well. She had a few misses which made her build up her frustration. It took a few more tries, but she managed to get the hang of it. “Ha! See? No problem.” Said Rainbow Dash with confidence as she raised her head and her nose breathed out.

Everyone else was amazed as they applauded to her. However, Rarity is the only one who isn’t even amused of Rainbow’s achievement and decided to intervene. “Marvelous performance, Rainbow. But I don’t think you should claim your victory so soon.” She said.

Rainbow Dash responded with an awkward oblivious look on her face, with her head tilted to the side a bit, and her hands on the table and said, “What do you mean too soon? I managed how to use them. That’s good enough for me.”

Rarity then loosely grasped her hands and rested her chin on them as she spoke with a face so calm that she is hiding her true purpose. “All I’m saying is, darling, that you should put your skills to the test. Why not try using them to eat your rice? Although I won’t blame you if you think you can’t do it.”

“Here we go.” muttered Twilight Sparkle responding to what’s going on. Applejack just placed her hand on her face and shook her head in disappointment from this. Fluttershy just looks around curiously as she is oblivious to what’s going on as Ryo-Ohki is by her lap still enjoying her carrot.

“Who says I can’t do it? I’ll show you right now that I can and we’ll see who’s the one laughing.” Said Rainbow with determination.

Pinkie Pie shook in excitement then she lean towards rarity and said, “Ooooh, now you’re gonna get it.”

Tenchi and Nobuyuki are still witnessing what is going on, but they can’t believe the reason why. All this just so one could learn how to use chopsticks. But then Tenchi noticed Pinkie Pie who look liked she had some sort of idea and decided to get up from her chair and go through the same drawer that kept the utensils where Nobuyuki found the chopsticks. He was about to say something, but decided not to and decided to let her be as he assume she is not going to cause any trouble after getting familiar with her unusual behavior.

Rainbow Dash picks up her bowl of rice and looks at it seriously as she holds her chopsticks readily. She is a little nervous as her chopstick hand is shaking a bit. She opened her chopsticks then, slowly moves them into the bowl, and tried to pick some of the rice. Finally, she somehow managed to get a good amount and took a bite. After one swallow, she then grinned confidently and laughed proudly. “Guess I’m the one who’s laughing.” Said Rainbow.

Everyone else applaud for her achievement yet again. Rarity looks somewhat surprised that she managed to do it but regained her composure still looking un-amused. “I guess SOME praise is deserved for your LITTLE accomplishment. May I remind you that the rice is sticky to begin with which makes it so much easier for you to pick a mouthful.” She said in a pompous way.

“You’re just jealous ‘cause I managed to do it. Why can’t you accept that I was the better mare?” said Rainbow Dash with a frustrated look.

“You mean better woman. You’re not ponies for now, remember?” Tenchi intervened nervously.

“Whatever!” she shouted. “Rainbow Dash, I did not like how you answered to sweet Tenchi here, especially how he and his family been awfully nice to us. But again, that last task was too simple, more like a warm-up per say. I only want to see you prove that your amazing skill is the real deal. Hence I’m suggesting a much better challenge.” Said Rarity with her eyes clothes and her index finger pointed up.

Twilight Sparkle then placed her hand on Rarity then shook her head. “I think this is far enough. Can’t we just peacefully enjoy our breakfast before you start making this into a frustrating ordeal for all of us?” she said.

“Why, Twilight? How could you think of me that way? I merely wanted Rainbow Dash to demonstrate her chopstick skills.” Said Rarity with a somewhat honest expression, although she looks like she is trying too hard to hide her true agenda.

“Don’t worry, Twilight, It won’t take long. I’ll definitely snuff her out in a minute and then we can finally finish breakfast. Bring it on.” Said Rainbow Dash with a confident look.

“We’ll see about that” said Rarity looking at Rainbow Dash with such annoyed eyes. She then focuses to Tenchi and asked, “Tenchi, darling, by any chance you carry olives in your lovely kitchen?” Tenchi nodded nervously. “Would you be a dear and kindly bring forth a few to that awfully brute of a girl?” she asked once more.

“You’re really asking for a hoof sandwich, Miss Pompypants?” retorted Rainbow Dash.

“Ooh, good one, but I think you mean knuckle sandwich.” Said Pinkie Pie, who then high fived Rainbow Dash.

“Whatever, all I know is that I’ll make sure she’ll get what she deserves soon enough.”

Tenchi went to get the olives kept in the cupboard, then poured a few in another bowl, and then served it to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash looks nervously at her olives.

“Go on, dear, or have you decided to back out since it’s already too much for you.” Said Rarity to Rainbow Dash with a slight chuckle held by her words.

Rainbow Dash grits her teeth then yelled, “Rainbow Dash never backs out on a challenge. Just give me a moment, okay?”

Rainbow lowers her herself above the level of the bowl and takes a close look at the olives. She then carefully held her chopsticks and draws them closer towards the olives. Finally, she tries clasping them on one olive slowly. The girls lean over as they look carefully. Tenchi and Nobuyuki just patiently waited for this to be over with as they look nervously at what’s going on. They have gone through such weird situations before, but never before on a fuss about using chopsticks.

Her chopsticks finally touched on olive from clasping. “Got it!” she said as she look excited. But the moment she tried holding the olive, it slipped out from her chopsticks’ grasp.

The girls look disappointed except for Rarity as she shows a confident look on her face. “Well, there you have it. It’s not easy to master such a simple foreign utensil in one try.” She said.

“Wait, let me try one more time.” Said Rainbow Dash nervously. She tried once more but again the olive slipped out. That caused her to panic and tried several times until she somehow managed to pick it up. She looked satisfied for accomplishing it, but it didn’t last long as it slips out from her grasp again. “Aw, I almost had it… Grr, one more time! This time for sure!” she said with such a pout.

“Aw, too bad, Rainbow. Don’t worry, you’ll get it sometime. But it goes to show you shouldn’t think master one thing after trying it for the first time. It might teach you a bit humility.” Said Rarity with a satisfying smile.

“Don’t start with me, Rarity…” said Rainbow Dash while speaking through her gritting teeth.

“Besides, it’s not like anyone of us would be able to use it so early” continued Rarity but as soon as she said those words, everyone gasped as they noticed Pinkie Pie eating the same olives served for Rainbow Dash. Not just that, she was actually picking them up with her own set of chopsticks!

“Mmm, these olives are scrumpty-omptoulous. Can I have some more?” Pinkie asked. The girls were just shocked just seeing how easily Pinkie is using those chopsticks when its actually her first time.

“Give me those!” said Rainbow Dash as she took Pinkie Pie’s chopsticks. She then tried picking up an olive herself but she fails just like before.

“Not like that, silly filly. You’re putting too much muscle into. You just have to pick them gently like they’re soft marshmallows like this.” With that said, Pinkie Pie took her chopsticks back and demonstrated how she picked the olives up.

“Unbelievable! How is it even possible? I mean, how did she… how can she…augh!” said Rarity, who groaned and then gasped with one of her eyebrows twitching.

Twilight Sparkle sighed then said “You should know by now as much as we do, Rarity. If it’s Pinkie Pie, anything is possible for her.”

With her arms crossed and a nod from her head, Applejack said with agreeable “Darn tootin.’”

Tenchi and Nobuyuki started to hold their laughter then lightly chuckle from witnessing this event.

“C’mon, Pinkie Pie. Show it to me again.” Asked Rainbow Dash. Pinkie demonstrated once more, but this time tossed the olive into the air then falling into her mouth. Rainbow Dash gasped and the others applaud.

“Again, these girls can be weird, but they do mean well.” Said Nobuyuki.

“Yeah, but it’s nice to watch them like this. Goes to show they can easily cope so well after ending up in our world.” Tenchi replied.

Just then, door can be heard opening from the front door. Tenchi’s grandfather arrived. “I’m here. Just wanted to see how our guests are doing. Plus I’m in need of my breakfast too.” He said. As soon as he entered the kitchen, he witness Rainbow Dash trying to use chopsticks just as good as Pinkie Pie while the rest is finishing their meals. Katsuhito laughed then said “Oh my, seems all of you are having fun already. I hope I’m not intruding.”

Twilight Sparkle shook her head “Not at all, we’re doing fine. I hope those two aren’t bothering you. They can be a umm… handful if that’s correct. I just hope we’re not causing you any trouble for us being here.”

Katsuhito smiled then he said, “Not to worry. As long as all of you are well and enjoying yourselves, it’s all good.” Katsuhito then walked to his chair and sat down. Nobuyuki then prepped his meal then served it. “Thank you, Nobuyuki. At least you’re showing that you can be useful at times.” He said.

“What do you mean that? I can be useful whenever needed.” Retorted Nobuyuki nervously.

Tenchi then started making green tea by the stove. “I’m making green tea at this time. If anyone wants any, let me know.” He said.

“Oh, how thoughtful of you, Tenchi darling. I would simply love to have green tea. In fact, I always wanted to try it. Been curious about the oriental dishes in our world. Surprised that you make some here too.” Said Rarity with her hands clasp together.

“Don’t like fancy tea but I guess it doesn’t hurt from trying. Count me in.” said Applejack.

“I would like to try some too, please.” said Fluttershy politely.

“Same for me, Tenchi. Maybe some tea will help us calm ourselves a bit.” Said Twilight, but then she started to look concerned, perhaps of what Rarity said earlier.

“Ick, no thanks. Do you have any cold drinks?”Said Rainbow Dash but then suddenly Pinkie appeared with a couple of bottles of Ramune.

“Found some!” said Pinkie Pie with such eagerness.

“Sweet!” said Rainbow Dash.

Rarity then gave a stern look to Pinkie Pie and said, “Pinkie Pie! It is not polite to go through other people’s things without permission. Learn to behave better.”

Tenchi smiled calmly and said, “It’s okay. I mean all of you are our guests so all of you girls are all right to us.”

“Oh my! Tenchi’s politeness shows no bounds. You’re reminding me so much of my little Spikey-Wikey.” Said Rarity.

“Thanks, I guess. If I remember correctly, that’s your baby dragon friend of yours.” Responded Tenchi.

Twilight nodded and said, “That’s right. He’s been my trustworthy assistant ever since Princess Celestia place him under my care. If he’s the first to find your friends just like how you and your family found us, then I’m sure he definitely know what to do.”

Tenchi smiled. “I’m glad to hear that, at least that helps me think that they are in good hands. You must have good faith in him.”

Twilight Sparkle calmly smile. “Yes, very.”

Applejack then decided to pick everyone’s dishes except for Grandfather Masaki’s as he just begun eating his meal. She then places them in the sink as she stands next to Tenchi. Once again, her large size almost overshadow Tenchi.

“Took the dishes already? You really didn’t have to since you girls are our guest.” Said Tenchi nervously.

“Nonsense, Sugarcube. You and your family already have done so much for little ol’ us. The least we can do for you kind folk is help around the house a bit.” Said Applejack.

“Oh, thank you very much.” Said Tenchi. Of course, Applejack’s size sure intimidates him. In fact, Applejack’s chest is almost up to Tenchi’s height. But her actions definitely show that she is a nice girl she can depend on.

Applejack rubs her chin then said, “In fact, how about I take care of making lunch for you all?” Tenchi looked at Applejack curiously.

“Sure, I may not look much, but I sure know how to cook. I bet I kinda overwhelm you with my current size. Am I right?” Said Applejack with a chuckle and lightly bumps Tenchi’s arm with her elbow. Even if she meant to lightly bump him, the force still pushed him away from Applejack a step or two. She reacted with a surprised expression on her face and went after him. She helped regain Tenchi’s balance by holding his forearms with her hands. Tenchi was even more shocked that he was after witnessing her strength, proving that her stature and somewhat muscular body isn’t for show. Of course, he is familiar with Ryoko’s unbelievable strength, especially since her nicely figured body fooled him, but seems Applejack isn’t used to her current body yet. “Gosh darn it! Sorry about that, Tenchi. Looks like I’m still not used to this meaty body of mine. Guess the first thing I need to know is how to control my strength.” Said Applejack as she lets go of Tenchi from her grip.

Tenchi smiles nervously as he rubs one of his arms and replied “Uh, don’t worry about it. I understand. Just be sure to be more careful, please.”

Minutes later, everyone seems to be done from their breakfast, except for Katsuhito. He looks back to Tenchi while holding this morning’s newspaper. “Since the girls will be staying with us, why not give them tour around house? They sure need to be accustomed to their new surroundings while they’re here. You should go on ahead while your father and myself finish up here.” He said.

Tenchi nodded and took the girls with him and first showed them the living room. “Here we are at the living room. Not much to say since almost all of the girls had our first conversation here.” He said. Suddenly, he noticed Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash getting close to the flat-screen high-definition television monitor.

“Um, Tenchi? What’s this?” asked Twilight while pointing at the TV.

“That’s our HDTV.” Tenchi answered.

“HDTV?... Ah! You mean Television. So you do have it in your world too. But what the “HD” stand for?” she continued.

“High Definition.”

“Hmm, I’m guessing you mean that the televisions in your world have better quality in sound and picture than ours.”

Tenchi nodded.

“No way this could be a TV. It’s too flat. Ours supposed be big, squared and have lots of chunky metal parts in them.” Said Rainbow Dash with doubt.

“For beings from a magical world, I’m surprised you have Televisions too, but we used to have the kinds you have before in the past. It’s just we continue to progress our technology so much that we now make most things smaller and more compact, but still have the quality of its former models or even better. Look, I’ll show you.” Said Tenchi then picked up the remote control and turned on the TV.

The girls looks surprised as they watch it working. The TV is currently showing a soccer game between Tokyo and Osaka. They gasped as they noticed the quality of the picture and sound as if they’re watching the game in person.

“Wowee-Zowee! It’s so real it’s like you’re actually there.” Said Pinkie Pie with an amazed look.

“I cannot believe this has to be your world’s current technology. No, it must be some sort of special magic used to show such amazing picture and sound quality.” Gasped Rarity with her hand placed to her mouth.

“For once, I agree with Rarity. This has got to be some hocus-pocus magic.” Said Applejack, dumbfounded with one hand scratching her head.

“Haa…. Haa…*squeak*” Fluttershy was shocked that she couldn’t make any words.

“This is…so…AWESOME!!! It looks so real! Not just that, you humans look like you play such cool sports too! I know it’s too early for saying this, but I’m starting to like this world already.” Said Rainbow Dash with such an eager face. “What do you say, Twilight?... Twilight?”

Rainbow and the others then noticed Twilight in an awkward state. She just stood there watching the TV without moving a single muscle or making a sudden sound while being in such a blank state. A bit of saliva flows down from her mouth. Rainbow Dash tried to get her attention by waving her hand in front of her face but there was no response.

“Um, I think she’s broken.” She said nervously.

Applejack shrugged and sighed as the others followed with their own response to this. “You know what that means. Looks like her curiosity of how things work is about to kick in.” she said. Tenchi looked oblivious on what Applejack said, then she continued. “3, 2, 1,…”

Twilight suddenly awoke after the count. She smiled widely and rushed to the TV. She started feeling up around it as she squeals with delight. “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!” she said.

“Hey! That’s my line.” responded Rainbow Dash.

“This is incredible! I always thought Ponykind would continue further advances in science and technology, but you humans are totally in a whole new different level! I mean look at this amazing invention of multimedia! It’s only composed nothing more but a monitor but it’s able to function properly. I bet its using very thin electrical parts. The graphics and sound quality is so life-like that its hardware must be very powerful. Not just that, it also controlled remotely. I mean, it’s no surprise to me since I’ve seen televisions with remotes but the remote for this one is as thin as its monitor too. I bet it can even does all sorts of things.” She continued then squealed once more as she rubs her cheek against the side of the TV. Tenchi chuckled nervously seeing how Twilight behaves in such a way towards his TV. She is already started to remind of him of Washu of how curious she is towards Earth’s technology for being a primitive planet to her. But it’s the other way around for Twilight’s world being primitive and his being advanced.

“Twilight! You should stop this nonsense. This behavior is un-lady-like. You’re embarrassing us in front of dear Tenchi.” Lectured Rarity but to no avail as Twilight only ignored her.

“Guess she is back to her own little world now.” Said Applejack placing her hand on her forehead.

“Tell me about it.” Responded Pinkie with a serious look and her arms crossed under her breasts. The rest turned their heads toward Pinkie Pie after what she said. They stare at her annoyingly. “What?”

“I’m sorry you had to see that, Tenchi. Twilight can’t control herself when it comes to science mumbo jumbo and knowledge doo-hickey stuff. Her love for that is almost as big as Fluttershy’s love for animals.” Said Applejack.

“Excuse me but my love for animals isn’t THAT bad.” Retorted Fluttershy lightly.

“It’s okay. But the surprising part is the more I get to know you girls, the more you remind me of mine.” Said Tenchi with chuckle as he rubs the back of his head.

Twilight look to Tenchi and asks innocently “Is it alright that I can take it apart and find out how it works?”

“Twilight! That’s far enough. You have no right to disassemble this family’s belongings… Not until all of us get to see what kind of entertainment it provides. I’m very curious if they have soap operas.” said Rarity.

“No way! Let’s watch cartoons.” Said Pinkie Pie with eagerness.

“Action and sports is all I want to see.” Said Rainbow Dash.

“I’m actually curious what shows this world has myself. Can’t go wrong with what Rainbow is asking but I sure would want to see if they broadcast any rodeo events or farming shows.” Said Applejack.

“Animal documentaries or shows about cute baby animals would be nice.” Said Fluttershy.

Tenchi was already overwhelmed of how all these girls are taking over the TV and it’s hard enough to deny them as they all look at him with their beaming eyes. “I’m glad that you’re all eager to watch, but you forgot that we’re in a middle of tour. It will have to wait until we’re done.” Said Tenchi nervously.

“Awww….” They pouted in unison. This was too much for Tenchi. All these girls were cute in their own way, but when they reacted all at once, he thinks he might die from diabetes of how sweet they are if he frequently goes through these moments with them.

The group finally continued with their tour, in which their next stop was standing in front of the staircase closet door. Tenchi started to regret in doing this after seeing firsthand how the girls get easily amazed by a simple television. The girls look bewildered wondering why they stop in front of a plain closet door. “Is this part of the tour too? I pretty much assume this might be a closet. If so, I don’t think it’s worth showing us.” Said Twilight nervously while pointing at it.

“Who knows, Twilight? It could be a door to some mad scientist’s lab.” Added Rainbow Dash jokingly with a chuckle as she taps Applejack with her elbow. Applejack couldn’t help but snicker from Rainbow Dash’s joke and seems like Rarity joined in too.

Then the girls noticed Tenchi’s reaction. His eyes widened with surprise. “Uh, Tenchi? What’s with that dumb look you got on your face?” Said Rainbow Dash.

“Wait a minute. Don’t tell me Rainbow Dash is right about this door leading to a lab?” Said Twilight with an annoyed look.

Tenchi nervously rubs the back of his head and answered “Actually, both of you are right.”

Both girls reacted from Tenchi’s response with a few blinking and a nervous “Huh?” in unison.

“You see, this was our staircase closet, but ever since Washu moved, in she then fiddled with it.” Explained Tenchi.

“How much fiddling with it are you talking about?”

“It’s best to see it for yourself.”

Like so, Tenchi opened the closet door. The inside looked completely pitch black. All the girls stared at it carefully trying to see if they can notice anything. They all stared back at Tenchi nervously at the same time. “C’mon now, it’s not like something bad is going to happen if you enter. “ said Tenchi with an annoyed look on his face since he is no stranger to all the weird things that have happened in his life. He can assume the same for the others, but seems like that they have done so much in their world, it doesn’t hurt them to be cautious. Tenchi shrugged and with a simple “Fine…” he went inside himself. As soon as he went inside he completely disappeared. The girls jumped with such surprise as to where Tenchi has gone but Tenchi soon spoke. “It’s all good, girls. I’m okay. Just come on in.” he said.

They all hesitated a bit but Rainbow Dash was the first to break. “If no one is going, then I’ll go first. Ugh, do I always have to be the brave one between all of us?” with that said, she rushed with her arms crossed in front of her face went into the closet.

Applejack grunted. “Rainbow Dash really thinks we’re a bunch of pansies? I’ll show her, darn tootin’.” She then stomped into the closet. Twilight and Rarity look bewildered, and then they looked at each other, nodding in determination, and went in together. Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy were the only ones left.

“Alright, Fluttershy. It’s our turn now. Can’t keep the others waiting.” Said Pinkie Pie with no worries on her mind.

“Umm, that’s okay. You go on ahead. I’ll just sit by the couch safe and sound and wait for all of you.” Responded Fluttershy nervously.

“C’mon, don’t be such a wet blanket.”

“Well, I don’t think being a wet blanket is nice. Can I be a nice, warm, yet fluffy one instead?”

“If you want to be one then we have to go in.”

“Actually, I change my mind. Being a wet blanket is much safer.”

Fluttershy was going to head the opposite direction, but Pinkie Pie quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the closet. With a sudden squeak of fear from Fluttershy, she followed by force. Fluttershy was now rubbing shoulders with Pinkie Pie as she wrap her arm around hers as she they walk through the darkness. Fluttershy tremble in fear not knowing what’s ahead. Light finally appear showing their path and blinded both of them.

Fluttershy recovered her sight, then squealed in panic. “I knew it was a terrible idea to go in this dark and spooky place…huh?” she said but then notice Pinkie Pie froze in her spot. Her eyes widen and her jaw dropped as she gazed at what’s in front of her. Fluttershy blinks and wonder what’s with her. She then notices the others are in the same state as Pinkie, but Twilight’s eyes beam more than the others. Oblivious from the situation, she then focused on what they are staring at. She suddenly stood straight with her open palm up to her mouth and with sudden gasp she said, “Oh…My…”

All six girls were now in Washu’s laboratory, an overly large open space with the walls and floors are made of metal as many machines, counters, and unusual lab equipment take up the room.

“Welcome to Washu’s laboratory.” Tenchi said. “This is where she does all her scientific work and spends most of her time. This also counts as her room as she has her own dormitory here.”

“Awesome…” gasped Rainbow Dash.

“*Whistle* Hoo-wee! This place sure have a lot stretching room.” Said Applejack

“My word, with all this room I could make several boutiques…. Wait, scratch that. I could make a giant shopping arcade.”

“Forget the room. Look at all the neato doo-hickeys and thing-a-ma-bobs here!” Squealed Pinkie Pie. “Someone stop me ‘cause I got the itch for some button pushing.”

“I don’t think that’s such a good idea, Pinkie Pie. We don’t even know what all these machines can do. But still, I can tell that this Washu has so much passion in her work.”

Rainbow Dash then places her hand on Fluttershy’s shoulder. “I don’t think Pinkie Pie is the only one we should worry about when it comes to new science-y stuff.” She said with a cocky smile then points to Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight began taking deep breaths. She was heaving her chest so much from inhaling and exhaling that she had to restrain it by placing her hand to her chest. She quickly focuses on one machine to another a few times as a crooked grin suddenly appears on her face.

“So…much… SCIIIEEEENCEEEE!!!” she yelled out in excitement.

Twilight began to hop around ecstatically as she said several happy Yes’s. Tenchi looked dumbfounded. Applejack sighed then took matters into her own hands by grabbing hold of Twilight Sparkle’s forearms and kept her still. Twilight looked nervous after Applejack got hold of her. “Yes, you are all happy with the science-y stuff but you have got to learn some self-control, girl. You feel me?” she said. Twilight finally came into realization, smiled nervously and blushes in embarrassment.

Tenchi smiles and chuckle nervously after witnessing that. He shrugged off the first time where Twilight Sparkle witnessed the TV but now he knows he really needs to be careful with her with anything involving technology. “As you can see from all these machines she made, I’m not exaggerating when I say she spends most of her time here.” He continued.

“I must say that this Washu person really takes pride in her work. Never have I seen so many *ahem* ‘unique’ machinery. May I assume she must be one of the top students in her class from wherever she studied?” Asked Rarity.

Tenchi shook her head and answered “Pride, she does have that. As for honors, no. I hear she was expelled from the Universal Academy of Science, then imprisoned for inventing creations that cause nothing but destruction, even far much that they would threat the entire Universe. Hence the reason why we found her sealed in the cave behind our shrine.”

Rarity gasped with her hand placed on her chest then said, “Oh dear, that was simply dreadful. The poor girl must have suffered during that whole time there. I bet it would be bad as being sealed in the moon. But she did behaved better while she was in your care, I hoped?”

“Well, she did somewhat. The academy did welcome her back with open arms after she helped us in stopping Kagato. Sadly, that didn’t last long as she ended up dropping out again after inventing another dangerous creation after she pledged during her return ceremony she would use her talent for peace.” Said Tenchi in a nervous tone.

“I guess old habits die hard as they say, like Rainbow Dash’s habit of sleeping on the job for example.” Said Rarity with her hand placed on her mouth.

“Or you nagging for every little thing.” Retorted Rainbow Dash sternly.

“Or me popping out and say something very weird to stop an argument before it goes bad.” Intervened Pinkie Pie happily. Both Rarity and Rainbow Dash looked at Pinkie Pie nervously. “See? I just did it even now. Never fails.” She continued then showed a wide grin with her eyes closed.

Tenchi can’t help but slightly laugh nervously from Pinkie Pie. They definitely have their own personality but out of all the six of these girls, Pinkie Pie seems to be the weirdest, but in a good way. She definitely has her own way of brightening the mood.

“It really is such an amazing yet spacious lab but how on earth she managed to make it from a mere staircase closet? I still think this was done by using very powerful magic. No science on our world could make this happen.” Asked Twilight Sparkle.

Tenchi scratched the back of his head and shrugged as he answered Twilight’s question. “It does look like it was done by magic, I can’t blame you for being so curious about it. Honestly, I am surprised as you are, but I did endure a huge lecture from Washu on how she did it, but it was just too much to keep it all in my head, so I can only tell you a simple version of it.” Tenchi went on and explained.

During her days at the Universal Academy of Science, Washu made a huge discovery. She was divulging into physics then wondered one thing, is there space within space. Sound simple at first but very complicated once you dig deep enough into it. To test that, she started making technology that would open up space which makes a portal that would go into it. With that, she finally proved her theory but never thought that the inside of space would be much larger than the space we live in. After much research, Washu theorized that the space we live in is the Main Dimensional Space where every living thing exist, but the space within it is so large that it’s what actually holds up our Main Dimensional Space. But since no one has ever discovered it yet, it is nothing more than a almost limitless place of nothingness, hence she calls it Sub-Dimensional Space and made it into her own technology. Think of it as the layer of our space.

In the end, Sub Space is found all around us within our space. Even in the smallest space consisting a few square feet would have several mile radius of sub-dimensional space. This discovery holds vast possibilities, but can be dangerous in the wrong hands or worse… she has a theory that if the Universal population ever takes advantage of this technology, they will open up too many portals of Sub Dimensional Space which would break the very fabric of Time and Space, ending every single life as we know it until its only left into nothing. This theory has not been proved yet, but Wahsu really did not want to risk in testing to see if she is right.

“So yeah, this technology is so incredible, but can be very scary if it’s used for the wrong reasons or might risk our entire existence.” Tenchi ends his explanation but with an unsatisfied look after trying his best for everyone to understand. The part about the risks in using sub space might not be true as it could have been a way by Washu to mess with him. However, his lecture might have done something to girls as he witnessed them with their jaws dropped in disbelief. They stood silent for few seconds. Tenchi was worried that he might have broken their minds in some way, although he should have been aware of that expectation since they were Equians from a world of magic with science and technology that has not reach the level of his world. “Uh, excuse me…?” he asked to the group.

Suddenly, the girls ran the opposite direction and yelled “LET US OUT!!!” All of them panicked as they try to exit out of Washu’s lab, not knowing where the exit is. The girls then got separated and collapsed showing their own reaction after hearing Tenchi’s explanation.

“You just have to find out about this Sub Whatever Spacey thing Tenchi just explained, huh Twilight? Now I got a headache from trying to make it out and the only thing I understand from it is the possibility of risking everypony’s life while we’re here. I hope you’re happy.” Said Applejack in a frustrated tone while holding her head with both hands.

“Let me out! Oh please, let me out, let me out! I’m too young and beautiful to die! I have so many dresses to design, customers to satisfy. I haven’t even found the stallion of my dreams!” pouted Rarity pathetically.

Pinkie Pie makes panicking sounds as she tries scratching out the surface of a wall with her bare fingers.

Fluttershy sat on her rear with her eyes all white while streams of tears come out from the shock after what she heard from Tenchi.

“I thought this was the most awesome thing I ever heard of, but not anymore if it involves destroying the world. I wish we are back home now!” said Rainbow Dash in a broken state while lying on the ground by her side and all curled up hugging her legs that’s pressed against her chest.

“Sorry, sorry, sorry! I just wanted to know how it works. Is it too much to ask?” said Twilight while panicking in tears as she covers her shamed face with her hands.

Pinkie Pie suddenly stopped scratching the wall then noticed a panel with big blue button that shows an open palm glove as a symbol. “Maybe this button will get us out of here.” She said.

Tenchi noticed Pinkie looking at the button then yelled “Oi, Pinkie! Wait! Don’t press that!” But it was inevitable, as Pinkie Pie already pressed it. Multiple long metal arms wearing toon-like gloves appeared from above them heading straight at the girls.

“Uh-oh…” said Pinkie Pie

“Now what?” said Rainbow Dash.

“Pinkie, what have you done now?”

“I just pressed this blue button. That’s all.” She answered.

“Honestly, I really don’t like how those twitchy hands slowly heading towards us.”

Fluttershy shivers in fear as she barely mutters “No…”

“If any of you girls haven’t realized the dire situation that we’re in, I suggest one thing…. RUN!!!” yelled Rarity and so they did.

They quickly scattered as they squealed in panic but the arms already gave chase and managed to catch up to them. Tenchi reacted by getting in the way of the arms’ path but was knocked away. Rarity hadn’t gotten used to running with her two legs while carrying the extra weight on her chest as she turns her head and noticed a few arms already catching up to her.

“ Oh no, don’t you even dare.” She said as she shoo’s them away and managed to slap one of the hands but it was futile. Rarity shrieked as the arms managed to pull her up from her wrists. The arms then started to shake Rarity up and down repeatedly. It caused Rarity to stutter and her breasts to shake tremendously.

Rainbow Dash took a quick glance back to Rarity as she continues to run but the embarrassing sight of the diva caused her to laugh. “Bwa-ha-ha-ha! Serves you right for getting on my nerves all day!” She couldn’t control her laughter that it caused her to trip and slam to the ground face first. She muttered a slight “ouch” then noticed the arms coming after her and freaked out. She crawled as fast as she could but it was too late as she was pulled from her ankles. An annoyed yet teary-eyed Rainbow Dash gave in as she was wisked away. She was then lifted upside down as it caused her one piece clothes to flow down showing off her panties. Rainbow Dash groans in unapproval of her demise while crossing her arms.

“Rarity! Rainbow Dash! Are you two okay?” said Twilight Sparkle after noticing her two friends being captured by the mechanical arms as she continued to run while pulling Fluttershy with her. However, the others are already caught.

Applejack was putting up a fight as she was trying her best to refrain the arms from grabbing hold her with her brute strength. “Don’t mind me, Sugarcube. I got this all under control until you figure out how to stop these dag’ nabbit contraptions. At least this big meaty body of mine is good for something.” She answered.

“Do you think all the blood rushing into my head looks okay to you?” said Rainbow Dash sarcastically.

“If you ask me, I say you definitely deserve it for pointing out my current shame but I’m in no better position as you are. Those naughty things stopped shaking me, but I’m still trapped and all that shaking ruined my appearance. Just look at me, my mane is a complete mess. My robes are in shambles, not to mention I’m already shaming myself in exposing these large round mounds of flesh. What possibly could get any worse?” retorted Rarity. A few other arms appeared and were heading straight at Rarity with their fingers twitching uncontrollably. “I just had to ask…” she muttered then shrieked loudly. Her shriek of terror soon turned into uncontrollable laughter as the arms already begun tickling her in almost every part of her body. “Hahahaha…. Make it stop… Hahahaha.. Please make it stop…” she said through her laughing.

“Aww, I want to get tickled too. Why does Rarity get all the fun?” said Pinkie Pie after being caught and held up by her waist.

“Pinkie Pie, why were you caught? Out of all of us, I thought you would be able to avoid being caught.” Asked Rainbow Dash.

“Well, seeing how you and Rarity got caught, I thought it would be nice if I join in. Besides, it looks like you two are already having fun with those hands and you know how much I love fun.” She answered with a smile.

Once again, Pinkie Pie has shown how unpredictable she is, Thought Rainbow Dash.

Pinkie Pie continued while puffing up her cheeks with a jealous look. “Still, I wish I was in Rarity’s place right now. Look how happy she is.”

“Stop! Please stop! *continues laughing* If I laugh any longer, I think I’m going to die.” wallow Rarity.

“Oh no! Fluttershy!” yelled Rainbow Dash as she noticed Fluttershy’s current situation. Fluttershy is still not used to running on two legs as she is the slowest and has the most difficulty to adjust than the others. Try as she could while whimpering with fear and worry as she is being chased by the mechanical arms, but suddenly she tripped.

Twilight Sparkle saw what happened to her then rushed to rescue her. “Fluttershy, are you okay?” she asked. Fluttershy nodded but then she noticed the arms heading towards them then shrieked. Twilight Sparkled flinched as she shielded her friend but then the mechanicals arms suddenly stopped by just a mere few inches away from them.

After that, the rest of the arms who grabbed the others froze then freed them then they all retracted back where they came from. The girls were all bewildered of why the arms let them go then noticed Tenchi who somehow managed to push a button from a panel. He is trying to catch his breath after somehow recovering from his fall and ran with all his might to shut down the arms.

“*Pants* Finally made it. It’s a good thing Washu taught me where the shutdown button is for these arms in case Mihoshi accidentally activated them. Are you girls okay?” He said.

Rarity ran to while wallowing in tears, tripped then collapsed onto Tenchi with her arms around her. “Thank you, thank you, thank you, my knight in shining armor.” She said as she continued crying over Tenchi’s shoulder.

“Do you mean Twilight’s big brother?” added Pinkie Pie. Rarity hissed at Pinkie Pie

“This is not the time to make puns, Pinkie Pie. I’m busy being comforted by our hero. Also, have you forgotten who activated those dreadful arms, hmm?” The rest glared at Pinkie Pie as she widely grinned nervously in shame. Rarity looks back at Tenchi and says “ Now to give you your reward, my sweet prince.”

Tenchi blinked obliviously from Rarity’s words, then realized what’s coming as she puckers her lips with her eyes closed and slowly gets close to him in order to give him a kiss. Tenchi look nervous with a bit of sweat pouring down from the side of his forehead. Out of nowhere, Rainbow Dash intervened as she pushed Rarity aside and hit Tenchi’s head with her closed fist.

“Hey, what was that for?” groaned Tenchi in pain while placing his hand on his head with one eye closed.

“Oh, you know why you deserve that. If it wasn’t for explaining about this sub-dimension thingy, we wouldn’t have panicked and end up being taken advantage by those metal arms in the first place.” Said Rainbow Dash in frustration.

“Okay, I admit it was a mistake I made, but not everything I explained about the sub-dimensions might have been true. The part about destroying the fabric of time and space was a joke that Washu made up, so I thought we would have a laugh from it.” Admitted Tenchi but suffered another hit on the head by Rainbow Dash.

“You could have said that sooner. Jeez, I’m starting to think you like to see us suffer from some cruel joke, like Discord.” She bickered.

Rarity finally recovered and got up on her feet. She then thrust her chest on Rainbow to push her away. “Hey, what was that for?” said Rainbow Dash.

“You careless tramp! Did I asked you to interrupt my moment with Tenchi? I thought it was a good opportunity to woo him over for saving us. I admit, I was frustrated to hear his words about this space thing was a mere joke, but he did make up by stopping our suffering from those awful arms that Pinkie Pie accidentally activated.” Said Rarity.

“Oh, you want to fight about it now? I can take you on. Besides, I bet you can’t fight with those huge meatballs in the way.” Retorted Rainbow Dash with her fists raise up to her chest.

“Oh, it is on now.” Answered back Rarity while pulling up one of her sleeves.

Twilight then intervened by getting in between the two and yelled “Enough!” The two girls stopped. Twilight took a deep breath then said, “ Look at you two, bickering because of something Tenchi and Pinkie Pie did. Remember that Tenchi and his family were the ones who took care of us when we arrived here. This is really not the appropriate time while we’re trying to recover and hope to find more details about our situation.” Rainbow and Rarity looked away in shame after hearing Twilight’s words. “Now what you have to say for yourself?” she added.

They did nervous gestures and the both embarrassingly said “Sorry.”

Twilight nodded and said “Good, now hug and make up.”

They both gasped. “Do we have to?” said Rainbow Dash. Twilight called in Rainbow’s name through her teeth showing how serious she is. Both girls mumbled in frustration then hugged each other although they decided to whisper to each other.

“You know that this isn’t over, Rarity.”

“Oh, I completely agree.”

“I’m very sorry for Rainbow Dash and Rarity, Tenchi. They do tend to overreact, but they’re not bad girls.” Said Twilight.

Tenchi panicked and raised his open palms up to her chest then said, “I should apologize as well. I really didn’t mean to scare you all from what I explained. But honestly, it’s pretty much what Washu explained to me.”

Twilight Sparkle then held his hand and said, “Still, thank you for saving us.” Tenchi looked at Twilight and notice how nice of smile she has. He blushed somewhat looking how cute she is. “Well, there is one more question I like to ask” she added.

“Twilight, don’t. I thought you already learned after what just happened” said Applejack sternly.

“I know, Applejack, but this is important.” Said Twilight, who then looked back at Tenchi and continued. “Could you show us where you discovered us after we arrived here?”. This was pretty sudden to Tenchi, but it wasn’t a bad request at all. Twilight might be able to figure out something if she checked where he found them. He nodded with agreeing her request, then showed them the way.

Tenchi finally took them to the Dimensional Tuner. The girls look in awe at it. The machine is completely shut down because of the last night’s haywiring. “So this is the machine you spoke of that sent your friends away before we arrived?” asked Twilight.

Tenchi nodded and said “Yes, but it’s now completely shut off because of what happened last night.”

“Is it alright if I could approach it?” she asked. Tenchi guess it wouldn’t hurt seeing that the machine is currently inactive. Tenchi nodded and let her pass. Twilight Sparkle slowly approached the machine. She stared at the machine’s eye which was now shut. She went closer as she slowly placed her hand on the panel. It’s incredible that a machine made by one person could actually create new realities. She slowly rubs the panel. “Such amazing machinery. I do wish that I could try it one day…” she whispered.

Rainbow Dash snickered then said, “There goes Twilight in her own egghead world again, heh-heh.” She then got elbowed on her arm by Applejack. “Hey! What was that for?” she complained.

“You really don’t know your place, huh Rainbow? Can’t you give Twilight a break. Of course, I’m worried seeing her close to that weird contraption, but she already been through enough as it is.” Said Applejack.

Tenchi then approached to Twilight Sparkle and said, “Do you like to see where I found you now?” She looked at Tenchi, paused for a moment then nodded. After a few steps, Tenchi presented the same spot where he found the girls which was also the same area Tenchi’s friends disappeared. “This is it.” He said.

Twilight bowed her head a bit to thank him for his cooperation, then squatted for a closer look on the ground. She hesitated a bit but finally placed her hand on the floor. She rubbed it a bit but then flinched as she went through a slight shock. The others look worried. “Is something wrong, Twilight?” asked Tenchi.

She paused once more but realized that Tenchi was asking him. “No, I’m fine. Just felt a little nervous knowing this is the same place we first arrived to your world.” She answered. Twilight got back on her feet then said, “ Well, that’s quite enough for this place. We should continue your tour. I do not want to keep you waiting. Shall we?” Tenchi agreed, along with the others.

“You said it. As cool and awesome this place is, it sure gives me the creeps. Let’s get out of here before something tries to torture us, most definitely something Pinkie Pie might accidentally wake up.” Said Rainbow Dash.

“Oh, c’mon. It was just that one time. Besides, Rarity had all the fun with all that tickling she went through.” Retorted Pinkie Pie.

“May I remind you, Pinkie Pie, that I wasn’t having any sort of fun. It was pure embarrassment under the hands of those dreadful things.” Added Rarity.

“Don’t blame Pinkie Pie too much now. Just be grateful we weren’t hurt.” Said Applejack.

Twilight Sparkle then looked at Tenchi. “I really appreciate you for helping us so far, Tenchi. With what we’ve seen so far, it will take some time for us to adjust in these bodies, but I have confidence that you will give us great care.” She said.

Tenchi grinned while rubbing the back of his head and said, “It’s all good. Anyway, let’s get back on the tour.” And so, Tenchi guided the others and continued on with the tour of the household.

Author's Note

Well, this took me longer than expected. I didn’t expect that the first chapter of the Tenchi Side would come out this long that it forced me to make it into a two parter. Still, I got it all figured out on how this chapter and the others come out. I do apologize of how much its taking me to write this story but again I do have a life but I want to show the potential of this crossover. Don’t worry, the time to see the Tenchi girls as ponies will come very soon.

Finally edited both chapters. For some odd reason, the the first chapter was completely messed up, and both chapters didn't have any spaces between sentences, so I had to ask GD to let me open his account and edit both chapter from here. Both should be alright for, but if there are still any errors found or what not, please let us know.

UPDATE 5-6-15: After talking it over with GD, I went ahead and cut up both chapters into 8 parts total. Hopefully, this will make the story easier to read and a lot less boring.
