The night sky twinkled above all of Equestria. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna embraced closely for warmth on the balcony of the Cantalot Palace, talking softly.
"So. We have to deal with some parasprites Ponyville tomorrow," Celestia sighed.
Luna repeated her sigh.
"That student of yours is always stressing, too, and that's another thing to deal with." She laughed.
Princess Celestia smiled.
"We should be getting to bed," Celestia told Luna.
"Agreed."
So they slowly walked to their beds to fall asleep.
The next day was full of merriment and happiness as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna cascaded into the fun-loving town of Ponyville on their carriage. The princesses could already see a purple colored mare with a pink and purple mane trotting around, frantically checking preparations. The princesses smiled and rolled their eyes.
They landed on the grounds of Ponyville with a soft, graceful thud. Ponies, pegasi, and unicorns gathered around and cheered. Celestia and Luna starred walking around Ponyville, checking around, greeting ponies.
One filly caught Celestia's eye. She was orange, with a beautiful magenta mane and........ she was crying terribly.
Princess Celestia walked up to the little filly and put her hoof on her back lightly to comfort her.
"Oh, I bet you're just here to bully me too, aren't you," the filly cried without looking up to see who it was.
"No I'm not little filly, of course not," Celestia replied.
"Of course you ar-" the filly cut off her sentence when she saw that it was Princess Celestia. Luna looked at the filly sympathetically while the filly looked at the princesses through teary eyes.
"Oh I'm so sorry Your Majesties," She cried. "I know you wouldn't bully me, I know, but everyone's been bullying poor little Scootaloo just because she has a blank flank, and it's made me so emotional, I can't help but think every voice I hear is going to bully me. But I know you wouldn't," the filly said in a flurry of words.
Celestia looked around at the destruction the parasprites had and we're making and sighed. She made her final decision.
"Oh, come here....... what was it? Scootaloo? Oh, come here, Scootaloo, it's alright," Celestia said affectionately to Scootaloo. She picked Scootaloo up and carried her towards the waiting carriage, ignoring the parasprites swarming around her.
"But the parasprites!" Princess Luna protested.
"Oh, they don't matter. I'm sure Applejack will round them up. All that matters now is this little filly, Scootaloo."
And Luna followed Celestia with dismay and guilt tugging on her heart, onto the carriage.
