Prologue
Tychus Findlay woke up on the iron cot in his cell, remembering where he was in an instant. It was not even 'O-five-hundred when he had already gone through his morning excercises, push-ups, sit-ups, etc.
Maybe today they'll fucking let me out of here. He thought to himself. I have a few questions for the blue bitch that poked around in my head. He reached over and turned on the radio they had given him before sitting on his cot, reading one of the many books provided by 'Twilight Sparkle' after turning on a reading light.

He found a little comfort in the song, humming along as he read the book.
"Mister Findlay?" A voice inquired, snapping his attention to the cell door as a lavender mare with a purple mane and tail stepped into view. "Are you awake already?"
"Couldn't sleep, Miss Sparkle." Tychus grunted, "Some blue bitch was in my head... looking at my life... my pain... my agony."
There was a silence when Princess Luna stepped into view, Tychus charging towards her, ripping the flimsy iron door off it's hinges and pinning her to the wall.
"TYCHUS!!!" Twilight shouted, using her magic to pull him away and restrain him.
Tychus struggled in his glowing restraints, glowering at both princesses. "Twilight, there are two rules about me. One, nobody messes with me. Two, anybody who does winds up six feet under. You ponies may not condone my methods, but I'll be damned before I break my rules."
Luna dipped her head, her shimmering mane soothing Tychus' anger with it's nebula like appearance.
"Forgive us for our intrusion... Your pain pulled us into your dreams." Luna said as she rested a hoof on the Caucasian human's massive shoulder, adding, "We too, have murdered."
Tychus was taken aback and his jaw dropped. Here was the Princess of the Night ADMITTING to murder.
"But we are here on... another matter." Luna said, signaling for Twilight to release him.
Tychus was released from his luminescent shackles and he crossed his arms, puffing out his chest.
"Our sister wishes to speak with thee about a second chance, a way to repay your debts."
Tychus nodded and followed the princess as she led him out of the prison, noticing the guards casting him wary looks and gripping their spears tighter.
After Tychus woke up: (Approximately 48 hours ago)
"GET HIM!!!" A guard shouted as more guards surrounded Tychus in his Confederate Marine Corps (CMC) Powered Combat Suit, or 'Hard-Skin', drawing a laugh from the armored behemoth.
The guards surged forward, the first row eviscerated by Tychus' C-14 Gauss Rifle, each round punching through them. Tychus would have used his Chaingun or his Twin C-10 Gauss Pistols, but both were running low on ammunition, or his Shredder Grenades, but resorted to using his standard rifle after seeing his foes' armor.
CLICK-CLICK-CLICK!!
He looked at the ammo counter on his Heads Up Display, reading that his rifle was empty, then tossing it aside, bringing his hands up. Tychus watched as pony after pony dropped as his fists slammed into them, a grin spreading across his face. This was what he lived for, combat.
ZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!!
Tychus bellowed as his armor locked up from an energy spike and fell forward with a large 'CRASH', getting knocked out from the force of his face hitting the inside of his visor.
When he came around, he found that his armor, the prison that Mengsk had put on him, had been removed, along with the guilt of his actions. He rolled off his cot and made his way over to the sink, and saw his reflection. The bullet that had taken his life left a jagged, circular scar above his left eye. Just another reminder of his failures.
Present:
Tychus had heard about Celestia, the tales of her wisdom, her guidance, and her power, and when his eyes fell upon her sitting atop her throne, the word 'powerful' described her perfectly.
Her skin was the color of snow and her three-toned mane shimmered in the light, but that wasn't what Tychus noticed. It was her magenta eyes. He could see her patience holding back her power, waiting like a snake for the perfect chance to strike.
"Greetings Tychus Findlay." Celestia said, her voice calming his tensed muscles.
"Your majesty." He said as he knelt like a Medieval knight.
"Luna, Twilight, guards." She said to the other ponies in the room, "I would like to speak with him alone. You may rise, Tychus."
The other mares and guards left the room as Tychus noticed his armor, now plated with gold instead of blue and still bearing the designs and battle scars, and weapons had appeared next to Celestia's throne.
Celestia cleared her throat and said, without Tychus interrupting, "Tychus Findlay, I have seen the 'War Footage' stored in your armor, and I must say, you are an exceptional soldier. It would truly be a waste for a soldier of your caliber to serve his life sentences in a world where he has done no wrong. However, after convening with the Canterlot High Council, they say that if I were to let you free, it would only be to fill my vacant Honor Guard position, that way I take responsibility if you wrong our people. I am offering you a chance Tychus. Either you serve your life sentences, or you serve as my new Honor Guard."
Several hours later:
Tychus marched along the massive corridors in his Hard-Skin, guards snapping a crisp salute as they saw the Captain of the Royal Guard insignia on his chest plate, and shoulders. It was a no-brainer that he would take his only chance to be able to fight for a noble cause again. His Chaingun and C-14 were fastened to special holders on either side of his back, his C-10s in the leg holsters, and his Shredder Grenades were in their holders. How they got the ammunition didn't matter. All that mattered was that he was given a second chance.

Aftermath: Tychus' side
Tychus grumbled to himself as he removed the dented chestplate from his Hard-skin, and replaced it with a new one, hearing a series of metallic clicks as a series of locks shifted to hold it in place.
Back in his universe, it took about three minutes for an automated system to put on a Hard-skin... Now it only took him seconds to slip in and out of suit thanks to Twilight and the Canterlot Engineering Division.
"Is everything alright, Tychus?" Twilight asked as she stepped into his room.
Now, when it comes to rooms, you have a bed, dresser, workstation, and maybe even a pet. Tychus' room was an engineering wonderland.
It had eight walls, each decorated differently so he had sense of which way he was facing. On the South Wall, was the door and a diplomatic uniform. On the South-West Wall was a fully stocked kitchen made from old armor parts, a fridge, and several cabinets. On the West Wall was a window that arced all the way to the East Wall (meaning he knew what time it was at any given moment), and a dresser. On the North-West Wall was a door that led to his bathroom. On the North Wall was a simple cot with no sheets and only a single pillow. On the North-East Wall was an armor locker for spare armor plates, visors, etc. On the East Wall was a stim-pack production station, a weapons rack, a drawing bench, and a small workshop (with an unfinished Commando Rifle on the bench). On the the South-East Wall was a weight set and a punching bag. In the middle of it all was a Refit Station where he can slip out of his Hard-skin and perform some TLC to the Armor.
"How can anything be alright?" He grumbled back as he lit a cigar, puffing it a few times. "I was supposed to beat that fucker but all I got was my ass handed to me. HOW THE HELL DID HE DO THAT?!? He THREW a three ton suit of armor like it was a damn paperweight!"
Twilight winced at the use of profanity but said nothing knowing that it was how Tychus vented his anger, then commented. "Big Mac is an Earth Pony, meaning he already has a monstrous amount of strength, and the fact that he does a vast majority of the heavy lifting for the Apple family and his size means he has more physical strength than the average Earth Pony."
Tychus backed away from his suit and sat in front of the work bench picking up a welding torch and fastening goggles over his eyes. "Thanks for the heads-up." He then put a part on the Commando Rifle and welded it in place.
Twilight took the movement as a signal to leave him alone and did so.
"There we are..." He said after about an hour passed, setting down the welding torch and lifting his goggles. He then picked up the Commando Rifle and squeezed the trigger, hearing the satisfying sound of the firing mechanism worked flawlessly.
He placed it on the weapons rack among his other works. He had a Dual K12 Grenade Rifle capable of producing it's own ammo with each round fired, a Perdition Incineration Rifle capable of fire a stream of fire up to 18 feet away, an AGR-14 Rifle to remind himself of better times, his C-14 Gauss Rifle, his C-10 Gauss Pistol, and his Chaingun.
"I see you've made some new weapons." A soft voice said, causing Tychus snap to attention after realizing it was Celestia's.
"Relax, Mister Findlay." Celestia said with a smile. "I just came here to let you know your 'Aircraft' is ready."
Despite his setback, Tychus felt like a kid on Christmas.

Spirit in the Sky, Threat on the Horizon

"Alright fillies!" A voice blared over the dropship's intercom, the dropship rightfully named The Phantom. "You best wake up and smell the fuckin' roses or ya'll be pushin' daisies!"
Tychus' eyes snapped open and he did a weapons check, ammo check, and vitals check as the other passenger's of The Phantom woke up.
His team was composed of the following names:
Red Dawn, callsign "Crimson", was a humble Earth Pony and was the only one capable of handling The Phantom so Tychus convinced Celestia that Red Dawn should serve as the team's Pilot, giving her his C-14 if they ever needed her.
Lucky Seven, callsign "Ace", was a Pegasus and a decorated ex-Captain serving Celestia for a good twenty years before Shining Armor took her position. She serves as the team's Striker, utilizing the C-10 with deadly precision.
Cinder Mane, callsign "Ashbringer", was a unicorn held in maximum security for his acts of arson... counting up to fifty before he was brought in. He serves as the team's Pyro, capable of turning the Perdition Incineration Rifle into a machine gun.
Poison Crown, callsign "Usurper", was a Nether drake brought in for poisoning the Tree of Harmony, not before putting a good thirty guards in the hospital and two of Celestia's finest six feet under. On a Royal Pardon, in lieu of the threat of war, he now serves as the team's Grenadier, capable of turning the Dual K12 Grenade Launcher's standard Concussion Shells into Acid Shells.
Snap Shot, callsign "Widow", was a Pegasus with an eye for detail and precision to the point where a pencil could jam a gun. She serves as the team Marksman, using the AGR-14 in such ways even Tosh would have been impressed.
Lastly, Big Macintosh, callsign "Deadeye", you all know about the fight between the two, the damage that was done. Thanks to Doctor Marrow, Big Mac's bone structure was now a 'living metal', meaning the massive Earth Pony was now capable of taking even more damage. He serves as the team's Sniper, seeing how he's the only one capable of firing the Commando Rifle without any side effects.
The ship lurched to the right, angling to what Tychus learned to be The Changeling Swarm.

Aftermath: Big Mac's Side
"Okay Big Macintosh... what happened?" Ask Nurse Redheart as Big Mac limped into her office with the aid of Applejack, wincing as he growled in pain as he sat on the examination table.
"He took on Tychus in his fancy suit." Applejack responded, as she sat in a chair. "Gave him the what for, but not after taking a few hits."
The alabaster pony groaned and poked her head outside the door calling for Doctor Marrow.
A few moments passed and a dirty-gold unicorn with a mane and tail of scarlet hues, and eyes the color, and glimmer, of diamonds, entered.
"You rang?" He asked as he regarded everypony in the room.
"I think Big Mac has a few broken bones and is in no condition to move. Could you take a look at him?"
"Already done! Shattered ribcage, broken jaw and missing tooth, broken hands, and a fucked up left leg. Damn dude... you must of done some damage to fuck yourself up like this!"
Big Mac grunted and winced as Marrow pulled on this leg.
"Luckily, I'm more than prepared for this."
