Icefire's Adventure

Ice and Applejack walked to the Everfree Forest. As Ice had never been in the forest before she stayed close to Applejack, too close for Applejack’s standards.
“Sugarcube, could y’all not hang onto me?” Applejack asked.
“Oh, sorry, it's that I’ve never been in here before,” Ice apologized, detaching herself from Applejack.
“Ya don’t say,” Applejack said to herself. The duo continued down the dirt road. Ice was scared more than Fluttershy.
“H-how m-much further?” Ice asked in between shudders.
“Not that much longer now.”
“Oh, okay,” Ice seem to react with a more relaxed expression. The pegasus and earth pony arrived at Zecora’s. When they arrived at Zecora’s they heard her making a potion. Ice couldn't even begin to understand what the zebra was saying. Applejack just opened the door and waltzed in. Ice on the other hand slowly walked in.
“Howdy Zecora!” Applejack said.
“Shh,” Zecora replied.
“What is she doing?” Ice whispered to no one in particular.
“Shh!”
“I don't know, but I reckon it’s some fancy voodoo stuff.” Applejack responded.
“SHH!”
“Let’s be quiet now,” Applejack said.
“Whisper of spring, and flaps of some wings?” Zecora remarked surprised at the weird ingredient.
“I-I could help with that,” Ice whimpered.
Zecora looked up and noticed the pegasus she didn’t recognize.
“And who might you be?” Zecora remarked. “You do not know me?”
Applejack smiled, and tilted her head towards Ice. “This here’s mah friend Ice. We’re here to see if ya had seen Twilight today.”
Zecora tilted her head, remembering. “Sorry, I have not. She might be at the schoolhouse, or so I thought.”
“Thanks. Oh and before we go, here,” Ice flapped her good wing over Zecora’s potion. It turned bright yellow.
“Thank you, you ponies,” Zecora started, but Ice was already out the door.
“Excuse mah friend,” Applejack apologized.

As soon as Ice was out the door she felt happier. She wasn’t sure if it was being away from the rhymes or away from the weird potion. She tried to take off seeing as her wing had stopped hurting. She sprinted towards a tree- she liked to fly over things- unfurled her wings, and leaped. Let’s just say she got well acquainted with some squirrels. Applejack came by and saw the situation. She was laughing as she pulled the white pegasus out from the tree. “That wasn’t funny,” Ice said a little angry.
“It was fer me,” the orange pony replied. They walked out of the forest and Applejack said she had to get back to her chores.

Ice trotted over to the schoolhouse where she met Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.”Hey watch it!” Diamond shouted, “If you hit me, I will sue you!”
What a fun bunch of kids, Ice thought. She walked past them to talk to Cherliee. “Hi Cherliee, did you by any chance see Twilight?” Ice asked.
Cherliee smiled brightly. “Oh, hello Icefire! No, I’m sorry- I haven’t seen Twilight Sparkle today. She might be at the concert hall. Octavia and Vinyl Scratch are having a concert tonight, and Ditzy’s doing the lighting.” Cherliee shook her head. “I love that pony, but I swear. Ditzy and anything technical should not be mixed.” She laughed.
“I have to agree with that,” Ice said, I would have put it nicer though.

Ice walked over to the concert hall where Vinyl and Octavia were talking about something.

“No, there needs to be fireworks!” Vinyl stopped her hoof on the ground, causing her glasses to fall to the side slightly. She pushed them back up. Octavia shook her head. “No. The sparks will turn my cello to dust.” She stepped protectively in front of her instrument. “Come on. You got the solo!” Ice coughed politely to interrupt the two ponies. They both looked over- Vinyl smiled, and Octavia rolled her eyes. “Yes?” asked the brown pony. Vinyl rolled her eyes. “Hey chika. What’s up?” Ice smiled. “Heya Vinyl! I was wondering- have either of you seen Twilight?” The two looked at each other, thinking. Before they could say anything, Ditzy came swinging in on a power cord, George of the Jungle style. The three ponies ducked before the swinging mailpony could hit them. Ditzy giggled, and jumped off the cord before she hit a wall.
“Hey Icefire! How are you?”
Ice grinned. “Hey Ditzy. I was just wondering- have you seen Twilight at all today?” Octavia rolled her eyes, and turned away from the group, taking her instrument with her. Vinyl sighed, and smiled at Ice and Ditzy. “Well, I better run and cool her off. See ya!” Vinyl turned, and started after the cellist. Ice looked back to Ditzy, who was still thinking. The grey pegasus smiled, and nodded. “Yeah, I saw her! She gave me a muffin, then said that she would be back later tonight to see the concert and my lighting! Will you come too?” Then Ice remembered her appointment with Fluttershy that night. “I’m not going to be able to, sorry Ditzy.” The pegasus's ears dropped.
“Okay.”
Ice grinned. “But I’m sure your lighting will be awesome!” That brought her ears back up. “Thanks! Well, I better get back to work. Good luck with your Twilight searching!” With that, the grey pony turned and flew back up to the rafters. Ice chuckled. “Well, better get back to looking for Twilight. But first, I gotta get to Fluttershy’s to tell her that I can’t make it tonight.” She’s not gonna like that.
Somepony hit the floor next to Ice. She jumped about 2 feet and tried to take off only to land face-first on the ground. Ditzy handed Ice a half-eaten muffin. “What’s this for?” Ice asked.
“It always makes me feel better when I crash to have a muffin.” Ditzy responded with a grin. Ice popped the pastry in her mouth and it did in fact make her feel better.
“So where did you say Twilight went again?” Ice asked,. Hitting her head on the ground had made her forget where Ditzy said she went. Ditzy thought about it for a minute, having forgotten herself where she said the purple unicorn said she was going. “I think she said she was going to Fluttershy’s.” Ditzy nodded. “Yes. Definitely Fluttershy’s.” Ice thought But I was there less than an hour ago,“Thank you Ditzy! Good luck with the concert tonight!” Ditzy nodded, and saluted. “Good luck with your Twilight hunting!” Ice saluted back. “Bye!” With that, Ice walked out of the hall, and shook her head. “I was at Fluttershy’s not even an hour ago. How could I have missed her?” The pegasus shook her head. “Alright, let’s see. Twilight has supposedly been to Fluttershy’s cottage, then to Sugarcube Corner, Rainbow’s Cloud home, where she went to Sweet Apple Acres where she got some Zap apple jam for Zecora, then apparently to Zecora’s place, then the schoolhouse, then the concert hall, and now Fluttershy’s again. What is she making a map of Ponyville? Boy is this confusing.” Ice shook her head. “Oh well. Let’s go.”

Soon, Icefire had arrived at Fluttershy’s cottage. Knocking on the door, she was greated by Angel Bunny. “Hey there Angel. Where’s Fluttershy?” Angel pointed up the stairs. “Thanks.” Ice trotted up the stairs, and into the room where Angel had pointed.
“Fluttershy?” Ice whispered, pushing the door open slowly. The yellow pegasus turned, and smiled. “Oh, hello there Icefire. How are you?” Ice smiled. “I’m fine, thank you for asking.” “I have almost everything ready for our appointment tonight,” Fluttershy said proudly, showing off the room with about 40 candles in it. The room also had two very comfy looking chairs in the center of the room. Not to mention the lack of birds chirping, which was always happening. “THIS is almost done?” Ice asked amazed by the sight. “Yes it is. Umm that’s if it’s okay with you.” Fluttershy said in her usual tone. “Fluttershy how long did it take you to do all this?” Ice asked. “About a minute.” Fluttershy simply responded. “ONE MINUTE!?” Ice asked really loudly. Fluttershy thought that she made Ice mad, “Oh, I’m so so so sorry.” Fluttershy apologized. “Why are you sorry? I’m the one who should be sorry for yelling, I was simply amazed that you did all this in a minute.” Ice responded with a smile. “How did you manage all this in a minute?” Ice asked puzzled as to how the pegasus did it. “Oh Twilight helped by moving everything, all that’s left is to light all the candles, and feed the chickens of course.” Fluttershy responded with a small smile. Ice sighed mentally- here was ANOTHER place Twilight had apparently been. “Did Twilight say where she was going? I’ve been chasing after her all day.” Fluttershy thought about it for a moment. “I think she said she was going to Rarity’s.” Ice smiled tiredly- she thought she was close to Twilight! “I’ll be back, in like an hour.” Ice shouts excitedly as she runs out the door. She was going to catch Twilight now!
Ice arrived at Rarity’s Boutique and heard some talking inside. She was too excited to make out any words but she was sure she heard Rarity talking to Twilight. Ice barged through the door shouting “I found you now T-!” That's about when she realized Twilight wasn’t there. “Oh, my bad.” Ice responded apologetically. Rarity was in the middle of making a new dress and also arguing with Sweetie Belle. “Its really nothing darling.” Rarity said to Ice, “I’ll just have to start all over.” Rarity said getting more depressed by every word she spoke. Sweetie Belle just went and got some fabric for Rarity. Rarity was on the brink of tears and Ice could tell. Ice rushed over and tried to comfort her, but it didn’t prevail. “I’m so so so sooo sorry Rarity,” Ice was also on the brink of tears. Sweetie Belle was fed up by all this sappiness, and started taking out the stitches on Rarity’s dress. After the pair stopped crying Ice asked if Rarity had seen Twilight, Rarity said that Twilight had been there less than a minute ago. “Where did she say she was going?” Ice asked expectantly. “She said she was going home.” Rarity simply responded. “Thank you!” Ice shouted happily. “For what?” Rarity was completely befuddled by the situation. “I’ve been searching for her all day!” Ice was still happy. She left the white unicorn before she would design a dress for her. Ice sprinted to Twilight’s treehouse, where she nearly crashed into the pony in question. “Slow down Ice! Somepony could get hurt!” Twilight shouted at the sprinting pony. “Twilight, where have you, been all day?” Ice asked between breaths. “Well I went to-” Twilight started. “It was rhetorical I’ve been following your tracks all day!” Ice interrupted Twilight. “Oh, yeah, I called you over earlier, didn’t I?” Twilight remembered. “Its that i need a potion from Zecora but she needed Zap apple jam, and when she finished I need some bird feathers from Fluttershy, but I also needed a certain fabric from Rarity.” Twilight explains, “I needed all these supplies to fix a spell that I failed this morning.” Twilight finishes. Ice remembers what disastrous effects of unicorn magic. She has a reminder everyday in the mirror. “How bad was it?” Ice asked. “Not as bad as what happened to you Ice.” Twilight remarked. “Well, I kind of need your help right now.” Ice said with a small smile. “What is it?” Twilight asked with a soft grin. “Two things could you heal my wing, I think its broken, and could you teleport me to Fluttershy’s doorstep.” Ice requested. “Sure thing.” Twilight answered with a smile. Twilight performed the simple spells and went off to repair her spell’s damage.
Ice arrived at Fluttershy’s doorstep and was still dizzy from the teleportation. She knocked on the door of Fluttershy’s cottage, Fluttershy opened the door and welcomed her in. They walked to the guest bedroom where everything was set up for them. “Now you said you wanted to talk to me about something that happened in your past.” Fluttershy remarked, remembering why Ice had called the meeting in the first place. “Yes, It happened 7 months ago...
