A Surprising Discovery In Twilight's Library
Chapter 2
Previous ChapterFifteen minutes later, I'm slumping on my desk. I don't really care if the ink smudges on my cheeks. I'm just so tired. And I still feel sick. My horn is flickering quietly, trying to act as a torch. My wings are warming me, almost like a ineffective blanket. And my head is aching.
I can't help thinking about Equestria, the world I live in... The world I hate. It's just so boring living a lie in such a messed up world. They don't take time to acknowledge the fact. The fact this place is a dump!
Celestia and all the other Princesses are such spoilt brats! They strut around as if the world is perfect. It isn't. It's the opposite. So many monsters target us, no one takes time to think why. But still, Celestia simply sends out us young ponies to deal with her mistakes!
It's all a mess. It's all a damned mess! Someone needs to clean up this world; wipe out all the parasites that crawl around. Someone like me.... I will cleanse the world.
"Twilight?" I hear Sweetie Belle call again, sounding almost distant.
"Uhh! What is it now?" I groan through my grinding teeth.
"I've found something..."
I get up and walk down the moonlight alleys of the library. What time is it? I feel so tired as I limp around and rub my blurry eyes. After, what seems like hours of walking I see Sweetie Belle looking up at me with those gross puppy-dog eyes.
"What did you find?" I growl, not so carefully covering myself up. I'm too tired to fake.
"I was looking through the books at the other side of the library..." She pauses as if she expects me to reply. For a while I don't and only after a long, awkward silence I say something.
"Go on." I groan rubbing my temples with my hooves.
"I found a reference book..." She says again, like she has all the time in the world.
"Wow that's really interesting! I think it's time for your bed no so you should go home-"
"Wait," She interrupts my desperate attempts to get her out of here, "This isn't any normal reference book."
"Fine show me!" I grunt as I watch her horn slowly light up. I rub my eyes and ready myself for total boredom.
Then, I gasp in shock as my eyes meet with the oh-so-familiar title.
