Paradise Valley is about to end. The Windigos are coming, the tribes are segregating, and the inertia of history is setting up the extinction of the pony species.

I tried to follow my friends to their own world, only to have things go terribly wrong. I was stranded in time, and expected to die while waiting to catch up to my friends. Only that didn't happen. Somebody needed to point out the land that would be Equestria, to the increasingly desperate tribes. Somebody needed to become part of history, to create the world that I had been looking to reach in the first place.

Somebody had to figure out just where the royal sisters had come from, find the Tree of Harmony, and give those girls enough time to become who they were meant to be.

Now if only this had all happened on purpose...
