A First Encounter Pt. 1

After Lily and her friends took a gasp of fresh air, she had decided to assist her father in fixing a multitude of items which are important for survival as they know that there are no longer humans on the planet. She too knew something they didn't know; something else was dominating the planet, and she was sure of it. She just saw one of them when she sang the song.
Was it something she sang that attracted it, or it was something that just became lost on the way? Lily then proceeded to forget about the confrontation and decided to call Blake.
Blake was cleaning her guitar until she heard rumbling from a bush. She faced at the bush and ignored it. After a few seconds of cleaning, she tried to play a few chords. It went well and everything worked out. She then got up to play a song until Lily called her.
"Coming!" Blake shouted back, before she noticed a bush shake again. She dismissed it and came to Lily, unaware of the eyes peeking from the bush.
After arriving, Blake looked at the items they have repaired. She then noticed a box with her name on it, along with a few boxes which are also labelled. She smiled as she held hers and slowly opened it. The smile grew as she took a hold of the item that was inside.
"My very own Chronosocket..." Blake took a peep into its compartments to find a variety of instruments she played. "Thank you so much, pal!"
Blake hugged Lily sudden that Lily was turning blue, and Blake stopped hugging at that time. She then looked back until she heard steps which attracted attention from all of them.
"What was that?" Mark asked, "be aware guys..."
"I'm noticing that," Jonathan replied, "kids, we're on high alert. Lily, let's give this boxes to your friends, will we?"
"It's 'shall we,' dad," Lily corrected.
Jonathan let out a soft laugh before handing out the boxes to each of her friends. After various reactions, including Ruth's bland reaction and Lily's reaction after she presented her own Chronosocket. She was confounded on how she got it, but Ruth was her friend, and she has her own ways.
All of a sudden, there was glass shattering, and they went to check it out. Lily went first, and to her surprise, it was one of them.
The pony froze in sight as she got caught by Lily. They gazed at each other before Lily's father came, causing Lily to slightly panic.
"Run, hurry!" Lily whispered, and the pony quickly vanished into the bushes, while Lily picked up the broken lantern pieces which the pony broke.
She then looked at her dad before accidentally getting a cut from one of the glass fragments. Referable to the slight accident, Jonathan quickly came and placed a bandage to the cut. He then questioned why the lantern was broken, but quickly ignored it for her daughter got wounded. They quickly went inside the chambers while Blake wondered who broke the lantern, but then was called by Jack to come indoors at night came.
They seemed at the stasis pods and decided to turn five pods into beds for them to use. It was a tiring work and they've finished just in time for dinner. As everyone departed to bed, Lily made sure everyone was asleep. And when everyone was, she jumped out of bed, sneaked her way outside, and got closer to the bush where a certain pony was hiding.
"You can come out now," Lily called, and the pony went out of the shadows. "What's your name?"
"I'm... Twilight Sparkle," the pony replied, "and I came to look into the mysterious comet that has landed here, but all I saw was you. Who are you?"
"I'm... Lily. Lily Xavier," Lily replied, "I suppose you're not a horse?"
"I'm a pony," Twilight retorted, "and what are you?"
"Human," Lily answered, "we... lived before you guys came."
"Human. Reminds me of that place where Sunset Shimmer was..." Twilight commented before looking at Lily. "Are they any other humans left?"
"Outside the planet, yes," Lily answered, "down here... it's only me, my friends, and my dad."
"Oh." Twilight looked at where the broken lantern once stood. "Sorry about the lantern."
"Oh, we can replace that," Lily answered. She then pulled out her Chronosocket and opened one of its compartments and pulled out a slice of gum.
"Oh, can I have some?" Twilight asked.
"Sure, here you go." Lily pulled away a bar of gum from her compartment as she closed it. Twilight then took the gum.
"How did you manage to make that knife?" Twilight asked, "it's really impossible to create something larger on the inside."
"Well," Lily shifted her eyes as she started to explain. "My dad invented them... each four compartments are connected to a major one through a portal which is produced using synthetic black holes that never collapses on itself."
"Await," Twilight paused, chewing her gum, "black holes?"
"Yup," Lily replied, before yawning. "Well, it's actually getting late. How about we see tomorrow?"
"I actually don't believe it's a bad idea," Twilight replied after she continued chewing the gum, "but, your father just woke up, noticed you're out of bed, and is talking to a creature you just met."
"What?" Lily looked back as she realized her dad was staring at her with his jaw hanging. "Oh. Dad, this is Twilight Sparkle. Twilight, this is my dad, Jonathan Xavier."
Jonathan looked at her, fixed himself and quickly pointed a pistol to Twilight, which caused Lily to immediately reach over and block the pony out of harm.
"Dad, why'd you do that!?" Lily asked.
"That animal is not allowed here," Jonathan growled, "now move."
As Lily and Jonathan got into an argument, Twilight took this chance to escape by teleporting out of the situation. Lily then stopped after noticing Twilight has gone in a instant. Jonathan was shocked, missing the opportunity to capture the pony.
"Great, you scared her dad," Lily said sarcastically.
"What?" Jonathan asked, "go to sleep."
Lily walked to her bed as she spit what she was chewing into a bin. As Lily slept, she couldn't help but think about Twilight, who in turn, was imagining about her.
"But friendship, carries on through the ages..." Twilight quoted before staring into White Tail Woods through the window near her. "See you soon."
Lily blinked as she noticed her dreamscape unusually empty. She looked round, took a deep breath, and then began to shape her dream world into a neighborhood with no one in it, because all she knew except for her friends, was dead. Still, things got odd as a moon raised, causing Lily to wonder if there was a pony who can visit dreams.
Her question was resolved when a pony appeared and walked to her.
"I see how you've kept my dear sister's student safe from harm, young one."
Lily blinked as her smile broadened.
"So I did..."
