[Vinyl’s house]
“......Ugh….can someone turn that stupid light off?” Erica said as she fell off what seemed to be a bed to her, and onto the floor. “Ow! Son of a b-.” Before she could finish her statement, Erica found herself in a somewhat small but very…..musical room. “Okay…..since when did mom change my room without me knowing? Matter of fact how did she do it when I was still asleep?” Asked Erica as she pull herself up from the floor, only to be levitating a few inches off the floor. Erica looked around the room , and saw what looked to be a mirror. She then began to float towards the mirror to examine herself to see why she was able to float.
“Well…..This is something new.” She said looking at herself front and back.
“I’ll say,” Said a tomboyish voice coming from behind her. Erica turned around to see white unicorn with a blue & light blue mane with a pair of violet color shades over her eyes. “Glad to see you’re finally awake.”
“......Answer me this question talking magical unicorn, am I dreaming?”
“Yes you’re dreaming, I’m a magical talking unicorn that lives inside your head and can only appear when you hit your head on something hard.” Vinyl said in a sarcastic tone.
“......I guessed I walked right into that one huh?”
“Pretty much yeah, but in all seriousness you’re not dreaming and I am a talking unicorn.”
“Great……. Um not to sound rude or anything but who are you, and how did I get here?”
“To answer your first question my name is Vinyl Scratch, ponyville’s number one DJ. And for your second question, I found you in a crater next to the friendship express.”
“Wait I was in a crater?”
“Yeah everypony saw you crashing into the ground like a ton of bricks. If I wasn’t there to get you out of there, I’m pretty sure they would of have you put in a cage.”
“I take it that you kind isn’t accepting towards someone like me right?”
“To be fair they never even seen or heard of…..whatever buck you are?”
“I’m a human.”
“Well that answers my second question i guess, but yeah ponyville’s not that accepting towards anything that isn’t a pony, griffon, minotaur, zebra, changeling, or kirin.”
“And yet you seem to be accepting towards me, why is that?”
“Please with all the weird stuff going on in ponyville this doesn’t surprise me one bit. I mean seriously we live right next to a forest that’s full of monsters and stuff.”
“Who’s the idiot that thought of making a town next to a forest full of monsters?”
“Beats me, but before I forget I was wondering something?”
“What’s that?”
“What’s your name? I told you mine so it’s fair you tell me yours.”
Erica paused for a moment when Vinyl asked her that question. “Hm should I tell her my real name, or the character I am cosplaying as…….eh fuck it my name’s the same as the character I’m cosplaying as so it’s not like I’m lying to her or anything.”
“Hello earth to whoever your name is, are you ok?” Vinyl asked causing Erica to come back to reality. “You kinda zoned out for few seconds there.”
“Oh right…..um…..my name is Erica.”
“Erica huh? That’s an odd name for a human to have.”
“This coming from the pony who is named after a record disk.”
“......Fair enough. So how did you end up here in Equestria, mainly ponyville?” Vinyl asked. “Because judging by those wings you have on your back, and how you crashed. I take it you didn’t come here by choice?”
“For the record these aren’t my wings, well they are but these are wings from my Mantle.” She said as she showed her scarf changing into human fists. “And for your second question I ended up here in….Equestria when I bought this scarf from some online sell from ebay named The Awesome Merchant…...You know now that I think about maybe I should of looked at his profile before I bought that scarf.”
“Really you buy something from somepony you didn’t know or where that scarf came from?”
“Oh like you haven’t done anything like what I did before?” Vinyl blushed and looked away.
“One time… I know better than that now, that why I scan everything with my magic before buying stuff from wired ponies”
“Well sorry if I don’t have some kind of magic scanning device that helps me with that kind of stuff. Humans don’t have or know any kind of magic.”
Vinyl raised her eyebrow at this. “No magic at all?, like griffons”
“Pretty much yeah I guess. So far humans don’t have any of that magical crap you guys have.” Erica floated herself into the air a bit moving towards the doorway. “Hey mind giving me tour of your town?”
“Sure just be careful of my roommate, and stay away from the box in my closet”
“....Ok I’m going out on limb here and take it you have some kind of pony body part in the closet?” Vinyl smiles at her and opens the door.
“Let just say that why I scan everything with magic from now on”
“Noted.”
(Ponyville street)
“Man look at this place, it looks like a something you would see in a bag of skittles.” Erica said looking at how colorful the town and the ponies in it are.
“Don’t know what skittles are but they sound cool.”
“It’s a bag of colorful candy that you eat.”
“Sounds like something Bonbon made one time”
“I take it she’s a friend of yours?”
“More like somepony I know, she make sweets so I go over from time to time to try her new stuff. Sometimes it not such a good idea”
“Why is that? Sounds like a sweet deal to me.”
“How about we go over and you can try some.” Vinyl has a huge grin on her face.
“I get the feeling you’re not telling me something?” She asked. Before Vinyl could say anything a random pony from beside them screamed.
“AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH MONSTER!!!” He yelled causing a bunch of ponies to run away.
“.......Is he referring to me?”
“Don’t worry about I’m sure those six ponies will deal with it now come on we got new candy to try!”
(BonBon sweet shop)
“Wow, reminds me of the shop back home when I was 8 years-old.”
Vinyl just smiles at that as she walk over to a pony who was putting jars of sweets on a shelf. “Yo BB long time no see.”
“Hey Vinyl! Haven’t seen you around here in while.” BonBon said as she finished putting the last jar of candy on the shelf.
“What can I say you know me, I got to give all the party ponies what they want. And what they want is my jam.”
“Still the same mare as always.”
“Anyway, I want to see if you made anything new this time around for my new friend to try.”
Bonbon focus her attention towards Erica, then back at Vinyl. “Who’s your friend?” She asked tilting her head in confusion. “I doubt she’s a minotaur, is she a mutated hairless ape?”
“.....Ok I take offense to that and normally I would of punch you in that face for that remark, but seeing how you’re a pony I’ll let it slide.”
“Okay chill girls we came here to try out your new stuff not what on the shelf.” Said Vinyl as she try to calm things down, in her own way.
“Fine, but the next pony that calls me that, I will punch them in the face.” Erica said folding her arm in annoyance.
“Are you sure about this?, remember what happened last time… I didn’t think it would be that hot.” Said BonBon.
“Wait what happen last time?”
“Chilly jawbreaker, nothing to worry about and I’m fine now so let see what new monster you made this time!” Vinyl wages her hips in excitement.
“Something tells me she fucking around with me on purpose.” Thought Erica as she followed the two ponies into the kitchen.
“Well here it is my new candy, I call it the flavor changer.” It was nothing more than a small piece of rock candy.
“That it?” Asked Vinyl looking at it.
“I was expecting something a little more…..well interesting then rock candy.”
“Why don’t you try it and tell me what happens” Said Bonbon with a smiles that just screamed there was more to it then it looked.
Erica used her mantle to pick up the piece of rock candy. “If I die, I’m gonna haunt you all in your sleep.”
“Noted.” Said Bonbon with a calm smile. With having saying that Erica put the piece a candy into her mouth, and began you chew on it.
“Well, what it like?” Asked Vinyl.
“.........Wow this taste just like blueberry muffins!” She said wiping the drool from her mouth.
“What else” Asked Bonbon with a smile on her face.
“Hm…..ok now it taste like…..cherries?”
“uh oh” Said Bonbon as she started to look Erica over.
“And….. now it taste like hot peppers now….. you know if you sold these were I’m from, you’ll make a lot of money.”
“Hay BB is her skin supposed to turn color like that?” Asked Vinyl.
“What do you mean?” Erica asked as she saw that her skin had changed from peach color to blue. “What the fuck?”
“Oh come on it just like what happened to Lyra when she try this only she turned blue when she got to the blueberry pie.” Complains Bonbon.
“Oh that interesting and everything," Erica said in a angry sarcastic tone. "but what about my skin!?”
“Oh calm down it’ll only last the day.” Said bonbon as she take notes and looks her over the wings.
“Great so I’ll be looking like a smurf for a day?”
“it not… that bad…” Giggles Vinyl as she tried not to laugh.
“Fan-fucking-tastic.”
“What wrong with being blue? They're many ponies who are blue” Said Bonbon.
“I have nothing against blue ponies, I just don’t want anyone to see me as a monster seeing how I look like this.” Vinyl laughs at this as BonBon just rolls her eyes then said this.
“You should see Lyra, she loves it when stuff like this happens.”
“Can this get any worse?” Just as she said that they heard a booming voice coming from outside the shop.
“MONSTER!!! WE KNOW YOU ARE HIDING IN THERE!!! COME OUT AND RELEASE THY PONIES YOU TOOK HOSTAGE!!!”
Vinyl walks up to the door and sticks her head out before calling out. “Do you mind we’re in the middle of something here!” Closes the door and walks back to them and blinks at their shocked looks. “What?”
“Wow and here I thought I was the only one that does that whenever the police comes and arrest my dad.” Said Erica trying not to laugh from what she saw Vinyl do.
“ARE YOU CRAZY VINYL!” Yelled Bonbon.
“What? You and I both know I don’t show ponies that much respect, especially the royal ponies.”
“Unless it’s your roommate.” Said BonBon with a knowing smile.
“Still I don’t show that much respect to them.” She said hiding a blush.
“Um….who the hell was that?” Erica asked.
“Just the princess nothing to worry about, it not like there going to blow up the shop or anything”
“Vinyl she’s one of the four princesses of Equestria!”
“Details, details” Said Vinyl waving her hoof. “Plus I never voted for her or any of the other princesses.”
That’s when they hear someone outside yell. “VINYL SCRATCH!”
“Meep.” Vinyl said holding perfectly still. As a mare slaps the shop door open and marches inside.
“Tavi baby what are you doing here?” Asked Vinyl with a worried look on her face.
“Care to explain why there’s a bunch of ponies and Princess Luna along with a group of royal guards standing outside of BonBon’s shop?” Octavia asked still angry at Vinyl.
“Umm, free samples?” Vinyl say looking to BonBon for help.
“Oh no you leave me out of this.” She said crossing her forelegs.
“Um…Showing my new friend around town?” Vinyl said pointing at Erica.
Octavia narrows her eyes at Vinyl. “And just where did this new friend come from?”
“From another world.” Vinyl said bluntly.
“So where and when did you met her?” Asked Octavia looking Erica.
“This morning when I was knocked out in a small crater.” Erica answered.
“So Vinyl helped you seeing you was past out?” Asked Octavia as she stand next to the nervous Vinyl, who looked like she was praying that Erica didn’t say anything wrong.
“Ya I woke up in her bed.”
“.......What?” Said BonBon not sure what’s going on.
Octavia looks at Vinyl and give her a glear. “I thought you said you wouldn’t do this anymore”
“Whoa wait a minute." Vinyl said pulling her arms up in defense. "I didn't do anything with her-.” Octavia put her hoof over Vinyl mouth and looks deep in to her eyes. “You, me, home, now. I’ll get the box” After she said that Octavia calmly walks out.
“So… Is that the thing, that magic gift you told me about that turns Octavia into a dom when she put it on?” Asked BonBon with a evil smile.
“Shut up!” Yells a blushing Vinyl.
“Um mind if we focus on what’s going on outside please?”
“That nothing compared to what Tavi is going to do to me tonight!” Yells Vinyl.
“MONSTER, WE’LL ASK YOU AGAIN! COME OUT OF THE SHOP AND RELEASE THE PONY HOSTAGES!!!” Luna yelled again.
“SHUT UP!” Yells Vinyl and slams the door shut.
“........Break the door down why don’t you?” Erica said sarcastically.
Vinyl glare at her before her horn glows, then opens the door and throws Erica out of the shop.
“YOU ARE SO GONNA GET PUNCHED WHEN I GET BACK IN THERE!”
“KISS MY FLANK!” The door slams shut again.
“SOME FRIEND YOU ARE!” Erica yelled as she turn her attention towards the Luna and some of the royal guard ponies. “Um…..Hi?” she said with a sheepish smile on her face.
“Guards! seize this monster and have her sent to the Canterlot dungeon at once!”
“Yes highness!” Said one of guards as he motion four of them to levitate Erica into the cage.
“VINYL! WHEN I GET OUT OF THIS, I’M SO GONNA KICK YOUR SORRY ASS FOR THIS!” Erica yelled as she was flailing about in the air.
“Wait!” Yelled Vinyl as she hugs Luna leg. “Put me in the dungeon to please, I’m begging you!”
“We were going to throw you in there anyway after telling us to shut up.” Said Luna.
“I don’t care I just need to hide from Tav tell she calm down.”
Luna looked over behind VInyl to see an very angry and pissed off grey pony, with a devilish look on her face. “Fair enough.” She said motioning the guard to put her in the cage with Erica. “Now then we shall leave to Canterlot at once with the monster and her partner in crime.”
Erica looked over at Vinyl with an angry look on her face. “I’m still gonna punch you in the face for doing that to me.”
“Just smile and wave I got this, we’ll be out before you know it.”
“And how are we gonna get out of jail?”
“Don’t worry I know how to get out of Canterlot dungeon, this wouldn’t be the first time I been in there before.”
“I take it you done something that made a lot of ponies angry with you?”
“Oh no I just hide out there whenever I make Tav mad.”
“Man you really must have pissed her off a lot I guess?”
“It more of me trying to not get her to use that magic gift I gave her…”
“Ever thought of breaking up with her?”
“You crazy, don’t tell anypony this but she wild in bed” Vinyl grins at that. “How could I break up with some pony who more wild than me?”
“......Fair enough I guess.” Erica looked around to see everypony looking at her in fear. “Why do I get the feeling this won’t be the only time I’ll be visiting this town?” She asked looking at Vinyl.
“Well I do live here.”
“.....If my punishment is to learn what friendship is, then I’m so gonna rebel against that.”
“Don’t worry if it is I’ll just say you can learn friendship from me.”
Erica sighed and laid her head against Vinyl’s head. “This is going to be a long and painful day of my life.”
Chapter 2: Wub a dub dub Motherbucker
(Moments later)
[Canterlot Dungeon]
“Well…..this sucks.” Said Erica leaning against the cell wall. “So what’s this master plan you have to get us out of here?”
“Right here!” Said Vinyl hitting a loose brick in the cell causing it to open. She then began to reach inside the hole in the wall and pulled out what Erica could tell was a turntable attached to a rifle.
“........What the hell is that thing?” Erica asked.
“My wubstep gun.” Vinyl answered cocking the gun to make turn on. “Made this a while back when I got into a music battle with somepony at a club.”
“Don’t you mean Dub step gun?”
“Hey I calls it wubstep not dubstep.”
“Why call it wubs instead of dubs?”
“Cause wubs are awesome.” She said pointing a gun at the cell door. “Now shut up and play along. I got this.” With a squeeze of the trigger Vinyl fired the beam of music wub energy at the door, and launched the door into the oncoming guard making his schedule routine. “Woops, my bad dude.”
“Ow.” Said the guard as he fell unconscious.
“I’m sure he’ll be fine, come on we better get out of here before they figure out we’ve escaped.”
(Canterlot Castle)
Erica and Vinyl Scratch made their way from the dungeon and into the halls of Canterlot Castle. So far no pony have notice them escape or cause a ruckus in the dungeon due to Vinyl’s gun. A few minutes of sneaking around and food stealing later, the duo made their way to the exit door of Canterlot Castle.
“Wow I can’t believe we made out, security in this place really sucks since the last time I came here.”
“Let’s just go back home and hope your friend Octavia had cool down after what happen.” Just as Erica was about to open the door, a burst of magical energy rushed through the doors and pushed Erica and Vinyl back into the hallway. “The hell?” Erica said regaining her composure from the blast. Standing in front of them was Princess Luna & some cyan color pegasus with rainbow color mane.
“Aw buck it’s Rainbow Dash.” Vinyl said facehoofing herself.
“Who’s Rainbow Dash?”
“She’s one of users of The Elements of Harmony I was telling you about on the ride here, fastest pony in Equestria and not the brightest of ponies at time.”
“Hey! I’m right here you know?” Said Rainbow Dash.
“Doesn’t make it less true meathead.”
“ENOUGH!!!” Yelled Luna fixing her gaze at the human. “Monster! We will not allow you to harm any of our subjects like you did in ponyville.”
“I didn’t do anything in ponyville you jerk!”
“Lying will not help you monster.” Luna’s horn started to glow. “Now prepare to be slain mon-.” Luna was unable to finish her statement as a beam beam of electronic wubs hit her and Rainbow Dash in the face.
“I don’t have time for all this crap, just shut up and get out of our way.”
“Vinyl you might want to look around us.” Erica said as the royal guards surrounded them both.
“When did they show up?”
“I think it was when you blasted Luna and Rainbow Dash in the face. that and fact that your wubstep gun attracted them here due to its loud music.”
“Criminal scum, you’ll pay for what you did to the Princess of the Night!” All the guards surrounding the human and DJ pointed their spears at them. “Once we’re finished with you two, you’ll be begging for mercy!”
“Guess we’re gonna be stuck here for a while huh?” Asked Erica as the mantle around her neck formed in a giant sword.
“*Sigh* This is gonna be a long day isn’t it?”
(Elsewhere)
While our heroes deal with the royal guards, somewhere in hidden in the sky fortress was a women wearing a black & red dress with a mask on her left arm. Watches the event take place from the comfort of her throne. She brings up her cup a tea to take a sip from it, then return it to the table. “So the Slayer has finally return?” She said lifting herself up from her seat.
“My Queen we have everything prepare for our attack upon this place called ‘Equestria.’ “ Said The Captain of the Knights.
“Good keep the soldiers here, I want you to draw out the slayer and kill her so she won’t be a problem in my quest for world domination.”
“And how should I draw her out my queen?”
“Attack this town called ‘ponyville,’ this is where she was last spotted and it appears she’s living there from what I can tell.”
“Should I kill anyone that gets in my way?”
“Kill anyone that gets in your way Captain. I’m not going to let anyone try to oppose me in my conquest.” The Captain of the Knights saluted and begun to wake off towards the roof of the flying fortress. “Oh and don’t hold anything back on my account.
“As you command your highness!” He yelled as he took off towards ponyville with gunlance & shield cannon in hand.
“Now, let’s see how well you can last against my knight Slayer?”
(Back in Canterlot Castle)
“Wub a dub dub motherbuckers!” Yelled the Unicorn named Vinyl Scratch as she fired another beam of Electronic wubs at the royal guards. “Geez, and here I thought we would of gotten out of here without drawing the guards out.”
“Well, it’s not like blasting Luna and Rainbow Dash in the face with wubs helped us.” Said the human named Erica; who was firing a barrage of sorcery bullets at the last remaining guards. “I think that’s all of them-.”
Before Erica could breath a sigh of relief, she turned to see a hand grab her in the face and ram her into a nearby building. That hand being from the closed eyed Pyromancer that grabbed her. She had felt the shift in Life Force and feeling none from the unconscious guards that were scattered across the Plaza and used her powers to narrow in on the assailant’s location and give them a surprise attack. However, opening her eyes now, she let go of the girl she grabbed hold of and stepped backwards.
She was looking at another human. The last time she saw another one was before she arrived here and that was over a thousand years ago. “Holy sh*t…”
“HEY! HANDS OFF ERICA, JERK!” Vinyl yelled as she fired at Ember. To her sudden surprise though, she blocked the blast with a thick barrier of flames.
“Would you care to explain who you are and why you were attacking the guards?” Ember said, looking at the blue haired girl. Noticing Vinyl with her weapon, she turned her head to face her for a moment. “Oh… and may I remind you that I’ve lived long enough to know when ponies such as yourself will try to attack me from my blind spot so I recommend you stay out of this.”
“Ok. One, don’t
Ember sighed. “Typical for one to not think first before they act. The city’s tensions are already running high due to what happened in Tartarus and what you two are doing is adding fuel to that fire. If you let me help you, I’ll make sure you don’t receive any time behind bars. But… if you even think about pulling that trigger…” The Mancer picked up a pipe on the ground, using her powers to melt it into a molten pile of hot liquid. “Then your toy will have the same fate as that pipe.”
When it came to situations like these, Ember was firm with her tone and speech. Any sign of weakness would show to them that she wasn’t saying the truth. The Pyromancer was trying to show that she meant business. Soon, Princess Luna was arriving around the corner as she began to screech to a halt.
“I found you fiends-!! Wait… Ember? What are you doing here?”
“I felt a disturbance in Life Force energy and came to investigate. From what I know so far, this seems to be a simple misunderstanding given their stories.”
“But the pony that called the guards said that this girl was taking hostages-!”
“Yes and
What Ember meant just now was in relation to Life Force energy. There were both positive and negative types of this energy and it all focused on personality, emotions, and behaviors. After hearing Vinyl’s story, Ember felt both the Unicorn and the girl’s Life Force being positive. Therefore, she could tell that they were telling the truth.
“How should we deal with this then?” The Princess asked. “If what you say is true, then how can they prove it?”
“Did you ask possible witnesses?” Ember asked.
The thought just went across the Princesses mind, remembering the talk she had with two of the Witnesses inside the cafe they were in. Two friends named Lyra and BonBon. “We did… and given Ms. Scratch’s story…… They’re all the same.”
She turned towards the Unicorn as Ember helped Erica get up on her feet, apologizing for her actions that she took against them. “What should they do now, Ember?”
“Well, If Vinyl has a place to stay, then Erica should stay with her.”
“H-hey!! Don’t I get a say in this!?!”
“I think you would prefer the bed in a guest room than a guard's cell.” Ember told the human. “Still though, when you get a bit familiar with your surroundings, come find me at Sweet Apple Acres. I would like to talk to you when you have the opportunity.”
Erica just nodded her head as Ember walked away, disappearing in a shift of flames. Vinyl had only one response to what just happened though.
“Okay, who the buck was that!?!”
“That, my little pony, was Ember Valkyr.” Luna told them. “The Tortured Phoenix.”
“Huh… eh. What eve’s just tell us where the guest room is so I can relax for a bit.”
Luna sighed. “I think when she meant guest room… she meant your friends guest room.”
The only thing that could be heard for miles was the outcry of agony from Vinyl Scratch that could be heard for miles. "NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!"
(Nighttime)
“I can’t believe I’m stuck here in bucking Canterlot for the night!” Yelled Vinyl punching her pillow case. “Not only that but I have to share a room with you of all ponies.”
“Hey what wrong with you sharing a room with me?” Asked Erica.
“It’s not you personally, but after what happen in ponyville today Octavia is pretty much going to be pissed off at me.”
“They why not try to explain it to her that what happen when I was a misunderstanding?”
“This wouldn’t be the only time something like that happen to me, little bit of advice don’t drink when you’re alone.”
“Noted, then again I don’t drink alcohol so I’m pretty much safe for the time being.”
“Oh whatever ya nerd,” Vinyl’s horn glowed as she turned off the lights in the guest room they were staying in for the night. “I’ll deal with Octavia in the morning, till then good night.”
“Good night to you to DJ.”
Chapter 3: Captain of the Knights?
(The Next Morning)
Our two heroes return to ponyville after their night in Canterlot. After their departure from the train station, Vinyl was still in a bad mood even after she forced Erica out of the bed they were sleeping in. So far everything seemed to be normal as they started to walk down the streets of ponyville….well almost ok. Some of the ponies that eyed the human started to run off into their home and locked their doors. While some were gossiping about her along with Vinyl Scratch.
“Great, it’s high school all over again.” Said Erica as she folded her arms in annoyance. “Just with ponies instead of humans.”
“Well look on the bright side.” Said Vinyl trying to cheer her friend up. “At least we got out of Canterlot without being labeled as criminals for attack Princess Luna.”
“Gee that makes me feel so happy right now.” Erica said in a sarcastic tone. “Not to sound like a party pooper or anything, but I doubt ponyville is willing to accept me at this point.”
“Oh come on. I’m sure they’ll willing to accept you once they get to know you, besides I’m sure Pinkie Pie will find you sooner or later and she’ll have a party for you so everypony will get to know who you are.”
“If you say so…..hey do you hear something….metallic?”
“You mean like heavy metal metallic, or something else?”
“No I’m talking about-.” Erica was cut short when a man wearing heavy armor thick armor, crash right in front of her and Vinyl in the middle of the street.
“Who the buck are you tin man?” Asked Vinyl. The man in armor paid no attention to Vinyl’s question, but focus his attention at Erica.
“So we meet again slayer, I never would of thought to find you back from the realm of dreams.”
“I’m sorry but who are you?”
“My name is of no important, all you have to to know is that my queen has sent me here to kill you and anyone that get’s in the way of my mission.” The knight said as he pointed his gunlance at the vessel. “NOW DIE FOR THE GLORY OF THE QUEEN!!!” Upon that the knight fired a barrage of bullets at the Vessel and Vinyl. In a split second Erica used her mantle to form a shield around herself and Vinyl.
“Erica do you know this pony?” Asked Vinyl.
“I have no idea who that guy is, but something tell me that thanks to him Ponyville’s gonna think I have something to do with this.” Erica said as she grabbed Vinyl, and dashed behind a building. “Got any ideas on how we can beat him, before he wrecks the place?”
“I only have one.” Vinyl reached for her wubstep gun, and fired it at the knights head. Causing it to stagger back a bit. “Keep hitting him until he breaks!”
“Guess that answers my question.” Erica fired sorcery bullets at the knight, hoping it would do some damage.
“You think an attack like that is going to stop me!?” He said as he aim his cannon shield at the duo. “This is how you stop an opponent from attack you!”
“Oh crap!” Erica said as she grabbed Vinyl and dashed away from the build he was aiming at. The blast made contact with the build, and sent the duo flying right into Lyra and Bon-Bon’s home.
“Ugh did anyone get the number of that bitch that hit us?” Asked Vinyl who was in a dizzy state due to her and Erica hitting the house.
“Vinyl, Erica? What are you two doing here?” Asked Lyra levitating them both out of the rubble of the destroyed part of the house. “We thought you two were sent to Canterlot dungeon.”
“We got out due to good behavior.” Erica said sarcastically as she grabbed Lyra and Bon-Bon and flew out of the house before it exploded.
“OUR HOUSE!” Yelled Lyra as they landed to an open area. “It took me five years to get that house and pay off the property taxes!”
“Who would do something like that?” Asked Bon-Bon only to have her answer to be answered by the man in armor flying towards them.
“PREPARE TO DIE SLAYER!!!” He yelled, firing a barrage of bullets at them. Only for Erica to form a shield to block the attack.
“Does that answer your question Bon-Bon?” Asked Vinyl as she fired her wub gun at the man in armor, only for him to bring his shield up and bounce off of it. “Dammit. I knew I should’ve upgraded my wubstep gun before we left.”
“We gotta think of something before my shield gives.” Erica said as the ponies heard cracking sounds coming from her mantle. “Lyra. You and Bon-Bon go find cover and try to get the ponies out of here. Vinyl and I will deal with Tin man over there.”
“We can’t just leave you with that thing, I mean look at how strong it is.”
“Just do it please! My shield is starting to break!”
Lyra and Bon-Bon looked at each other then back at Erica and Vinyl with mixed expressions on their faces. A few seconds later the two ponies nodded and ran off down the street yelling at everypony to run away from the fight. Erica turn her attention towards the knight as she grabbed Vinyl and flew up toward the roof of the house she landed on.
“Got any ideas on how to deal with him?” Asked Vinyl as she climbed on Erica’s back.
“Hit him hard and hit him fast. The moment I make an opening Vinyl, you blast him with everything you got in you wubstep gun.”
“Roger that captain unleash my load into the tin man.”
“..........Um phrasing?”
“I know, I just wanted to say that in case we die. Might as well say something stupid just in case we fail.”
Erica rolled her eyes as she launched herself off the roof, and towards the knight. “Fool you think a head on attack will defeat me?” He said, as he aim his gunlance at the them and fired. Erica used her mantle to form a shield to block the oncoming bullets. The moment she was Erica dashed to the left and delivered an uppercut to the face, pushing him a step. “HA! You’ll need more than that to dent my armor slayer.” The knight raised his gunlance and brought it down upon the duo, only for Erica to stop it with her hand like mantle. Vinyl took this opportunity to place a rectangular device onto his chest, and told Erica to move away.
“What was that thing you placed on tin man’s chest?”
“Ministerio.” She answered pulling out a remote from her mane. “Let’s see how he feels when he has a taste of my wubs.” With flick of a hoof Vinyl activated the device, causing the knights armor to crack.
“W-What sorcery is this!?” He yelled looking at his armor cracking. “What have you done to my armor you freak?”
“You just got a taste of my wubstep tim man.” Said Vinyl as she set her wubstep gun to max, and Erica mantle flared up.
“Now eat this!” Erica and Vinyl fired both of their attacks on to the Knight. The blast shot through his armor leaving a gaping hole through his chest. At first the duo thought that he was still able to move after that attack, but after a few seconds had pase the knight dropped his shield & gunlance and fell to the ground.
“That’s what you get for trying to hurt my Friends, Tin man!!!” Yelled Vinyl.
“Well, looks like we meet again, Ms. Erica.” The Blue hair girl now turned around to face the Mancer, the Princess and the Two earth ponies.
“Oh……oops.”
“What took you idiots so long to get here?” Said Vinyl, who jumped off of Erica’s back. “I’m surprise you didn’t hear the gunshots and cannon fire tin man over here fired off.” She said as she spat up some of her own blood onto the remains of The Captain of the Knights. “Figures whenever something like this happens you Princesses are late to the party.”
“Ember, how do you know this girl?” Twilight then asked the Mancer as the girl sighed.
“Yesterday, they caused a ruckus in Canterlot because some Townsfolk that were still fearful of what happened with Lord Tirek thought that Erica was holding ponies hostage when she was only talking to them inside a Café. If I hadn’t shown up, the list of charges against them would’ve grown much bigger.”
“Oh really? List them then!!” Vinyl retorted.
Ember stretched her back muscles as he named them off one by one. “Property Damage, Assault with a deadly weapon, multiple noise complaints, bunch of hurt and innocent bystanders and lastly……Sexual Harassment.”
“...... I’m not apologizing.”
Ember rolled her eyes as she looked at the two of them. “To put it lightly, you two would’ve been locked up in the Canterlot Dungeon if I weren’t there to help clear things up. Which means two things… One, you owe me an apology and two, you better thank me for saving both of your flanks.”
“Hey! I didn’t ask for you to save us! And for the record, we were doing just fine on our own in Canterlot that day-.”
“Should I remind you of the fact that you blasted Princess Luna in the Face with your Toy, Ms. Scratch?”
“It’s not a toy you jerk! And it her fault for locking us up just because of that scared pony. I mean who does that just because of the way Erica looks?”
“Anypony who is still afraid. Besides her, I’m the only other human here. So with that in mind, I’ll leave you two to get a lecture from Princess Sparkle. In the meantime, I need to be able to help train my nephew. Come on, Big Mac.”
“Coming, Aunt Embah!”
“How pathetic.” Said the Armor knight. “To think humans like yourselves would serve the-.”
Before the knight could say anything else, Ember melted the suit of metal with her Magma abilities til it was nothing more than just a core. “I hate it when people are trying to monologue before they are defeated.”
“.......You idiot.” Said Erica. “We could of figure out who sent him, and why he was after me.”
“I know exactly who from the looks of it. The Crystals that are in the Armors eye sockets explain everything. It was Anivia’s doing so she could test you. Now, I believe that core is somehow familiar to you, so I’ll leave the princess to you while I attend to something with my family members.”
“Wait so this Anivia guy is working with the Mad Queen as well?” Asked Vinyl. “Cause I don’t know who they both are, but tin man here kept on say ‘for the glory of the mad queen’... a lot.”
“Two things. One, Anivia is a girl. A female Cryophoenix for that matter. Two, It could be a simple case of Mind Control.” Twilight replied as Ember left the scene with Applejack and Big Mac. “Come inside and I’ll catch you two up to speed on everything so far.”
“Great…..why do I get the feeling she’s going to ask me a lot of questions?” Asked Erica.
“You should’ve seen the question list she had for me when she found my wubstep gun.”

“Interesting.” Said the Mad Queen looking through a crystal ball. “She thinks I’m working with this Anivia girl. How funny and yet stupid at the same time.” The Mad Queen took a sip from her tea.
“What do you mean my queen?” Asked a soldier next to her.
“If that flame women hadn’t killed the Captain of the Knights. She would of gotten more info about what’s really going on. While she go and plays family my army is fully prepare to take over this land called Equestria. I will not let my anyone get in my way especially with that a cursed slayer.”
“What shall we do till then my queen?”
“From where they are the slayer is in the library. It time for the next holder to deal with her.”
“And who is that?”
“Upon his death, the Holder of the Lance transformed into the great black creature we called the Book Hound. The beast attacks from all directions with tremendous speed for it’s massive size. So far that knight that Ember girl killed was only a clone of the real captain. Right now she will be facing the real Holders and unlike most of them it’ll take more than just magic to kill them.”
“You mean only the slayer can kill them right?”
“Correct.” The Mad Queen took another sip from her tea. Then summon a symbol into the air. “Now sit back and let’s see if this girl is all talk and bark.”
