Luna watched as her sister disappeared in a burst of light. She had merely wished to change the topic but her sister overreaction made her think that she should research this "house of Blood" when she had the opportunity. For now however she was going to make sure a that noting like this happened again.

Luna's horn glowed in an eerie blue shade as all the doors were closed and the curtains covered the windows. Night Shadow was startled by this and immediately fell into a defensive position. Luna however used her levitation magic to grip Night by the throat and lifted him of the ground choking him. Luna then proceeded to place a silencing spell on the room as she spoke.

"We warned thee that thou would suffer if thee dared to threaten our sister again."- Luna could still breathe but her throat and chest were beginning to hurt and her vision was beginning to go blurry. She threw Night on the ground and felt the force of the fall in her back. It was painful but she had to make sure that Night wouldn't attempt something like this again. As Night was beginning to get his senses gasping for air Luna took the bed sheets from her bed and restrained him tightly leaving only his head able to move. She felt the pressure of the restraints. It felt as if she was enclose in a small solid box even her banishment did not feel so restrictive. The feeling made her uncomfortable and she decided that she had to do this fast or she might be scarred from the memory.

Night attempted to struggle but the bindings were to tight not allowing for even the tiniest of movement. Unable to do anything he looked at Luna and awaited his punishment. The punishment however never came as Luna began to speak.

"Listen and remember our words for if thy fails to follow them we shall end thee with or without our bond. Thee shall never again threaten our sister or our subjects unless first given permission from us and even then thee will not attack them unless we specifically ask thee. If thee are attacked thee are permitted to defend thy self but only so long as doing so does not harm our sister or our subjects. If thee follows these rules and agrees to aid us in our endeavours we shall attempt to aid thee in thou pursuit of freedom. Are these term acceptable or should we begin thy punishment in earnest?"-Luna finished inwardly begging that Night would agree to the terms so she could be free of the restraining feeling.

Night stared at Luna for minutes judging the truthfulness of every word she had said and finally spoke.
"It is acceptable but know this Luna should you betray your promise of aid in any way without a reason that I can accept I shall ensure that this kingdom burns as your sister lay dead even if it costs me my life."- Night was pleasantly surprised. This promise was all that he had hopped for even if he would now have to ensure that he does not hurt ponies with his actions. The only ting he could do now is hope that his threat would keep Luna from betraying him.

"Very well then. I shall release thee and may we both aid one another in reaching our goals."-Luna said this in a hurry and her horn lit up unbinding Night and returning to her the feeling of freedom. "For now with our new contract in place I believe it would be prudent to begin thy studies in Equish. The spell that we placed on thee would last but a few days before it must be recast and doing so is not without danger."

"That will be for the best as I don't wish for any more spells to be cast on me then necessary. How would we go about this task I would prefer knowing the written language as well should the need arise for secrecy with one of our future allies."- Night agreed considering that by learning the written language he might be capable of acquiring knowledge even without Luna's permission.

Luna thought for a moment before she yelled.
"Guards"-in a tone that almost made Night deaf as he was unfortunately right next to Luna. The two waited as Night was attempting to regain his hearing. After 1 minute no guards had come Luna's horn lit up and as she was starting to open the door she felt the aura of her Silencing spell. She blushed a little as she removed the spell and yelled once again slightly louder. She yelled louder so she could claim that the guards did not hear her first shout because it lacked volume.
Within 15 seconds 20 guards had entered the room either trough the door or trough the windows. Luna screamed inwardly in frustration.

"We merely needed an escort to the royal library. We did not mean for so many of thee to be summoned."-Luna said sheepishly. As Kuna said this 1 guard snickered. "Thou shall be our guide the rest of thee should return to thy duties"-Luna said while pointing at the now almost laughing pony. The other ponies left staring curiously at Night rumors of his one sided fight with prince Blue Blood while wielding a tennis racket had spread like wild fire in the guards ranks.
The story was becoming more unbelievable with each telling in some it was said that he made one swing of his wrist and caused such a strong wind current that Blue Blood was pinned to the barracks walls for half an hour. None of the ponies who were actually present at the fight were still in the castle as they had retired for the day. The only once were Blue Blood and the poor four ponies he had convinced to aid him but they were all in the hospital treating their wounds and didn't want to be reminded of the events.

Once the other guards had left the pegasus guard that was left behind looked at Luna then at Night and then back at Luna and asked.
"Forgive my rudeness princess but are the rumors? About Night Shadows fight with Blue Blood I mean?"-The guard asked sounding like an excited kid.

" Lead us to the library guard and while thee does so tell us all thee knows of the house of blood. If thee does a sufficient enough job we shall make Night Shadow himself tell thee all the details of the duel."- The princess received a laud laugh for her wording.

As the guard pony started to lead the way. Finally managing to hold back her laughter she began.
"Forgive my laughter princess but your speech is unique. As for house Blood it is one of the noble houses that trace their roots to the great heroes of the last Griffin war 800 years ago. House Blood was founded by um uhm Fiery Blood I believe who served as the grand general of your sisters armies. The house has held a military post each generation since then. The title that was bestowed upon them to make their house noble was prince. I do know some of the history but you would be better of searching trough a book since it has been a while since I read up on ancient history."

"Thank you um. What is your name guard?"- Luna asked a little embarrassed that she had yet to learn the guards name.

"Vibrant Arts and we are at the library so can I know about the duel princess? Please?"-Luna chuckled at vibrant arts childish behaviour

"Very well Night Shadow please explain all that you did in todays challenge to miss Vibrant Arts while we find the books we need. Thou would be of no help searching after all."- Luna said as she began going trough the library leaving Night with an excited Vibrant Arts eagerly waiting for a story.

Author's Note

Not a long chapter but it was about damn time they started learning the language.
Luna is a pain to write for and in a few days when Josh's enchantment runs out he will be speaking gibberish. A language is not learned in a day

also still waiting for like 1-2 weapon suggestions I do have an Idea for weapons but both are sort of memes
