As Celestia entered the room her sisters room so that they can bring dawn again to the world she was pleasantly relieved that there wasn't a human ready to kill anyone who tried to wake her sister without good reason. However once she was fully inside the room she felt that she was being watched and as she looked around the room sure enough she found Nights eyes staring at her from one of the corners of the room his body hidden by shadows. Once Celestia remembered that he will not jump at her she proceeded to wake up Luna so that she could lower her moon.

"Wake up sister its is time to bring down your moon"-Celestia said softly as she pulled her sisters covers with her magic.

"We wish to rest sister. Please lower our moon as we lowered thy sun and take Night to breakfast. His failure to comprehend the most basic of grammar is the cause of our exhaustion. And sister keep him company until it is time for his challenge. We do not wish to see him as he is the cause for our headache."-As Luna said this her horn lit up and she was covered in her blankets.

Celestia attempted to pull the bed sheets off her sister again but stopped when enough force was put into them that they were beginning to tear. Sighing Celestia turned to the window and proceeded to lower the moon and raise the sun. Today was going to be a bad day. As the sunlight reached Luna's bed her bed sheets were engulfed in a blue aura and the curtains covered the window completely making the room darker then a moonless night. Celestias horn created a light and she made her way to Night.

"Come along you must tell me what happened once I retired for the day yesterday and what you did to annoy my sister so greatly."-As Celestia went to leave Night followed her. Once they were finishing eating Celestia had heard how her sister had called for the guards summoning ten patrols, what the guard who had led them had said of Fiery Blood the ridiculous rumors that had spread throughout the guard and finally how Luna had tried to explain their writing for hours even after dinner to Night and yet he could not remember any of it.

"So what do you find difficult in our writing?"- Celestia asked perplexed. It was common for foals to be able to write in weeks from beginning their studies but it usually took years for them to write complex sentences.

"Well it consists of 7 main symbols and 500 different sub symbols that are placed around the main symbols in different ways to gain different meanings. As I have no concept of any of the symbols and their meaning I must remember them all and the sheer number and possible placements will take time to memorize."-Night said in a calm voice while finishing up his breakfast salad.

Celestia was frozen in surprize. She had thought that Night had bad memory or was merely not the book learning type but he had been trying to remember the Equish written language in its entirety without assigning meaning to any of the words. Either he was an idiot for attempting such a foalish idea or her sister was a horrible teacher. She would need to find somepony to teach Night later as each second that he was learning was a second in which Celestia could rest easy knowing he isn't attacking her ponies.

" As my sister has expressed that she doesn't wish to be in your presence right now you will attend day court and silently observe. You shall speak only when asked questions. Consider this and the fact that you will be facing groups of 10 in the afternoon your punishment for yesterdays display."-Celestia said with a cold tone.

"As you wish your majesty but the latter part is more of a reward as it would save time. I hope you would still keep your word."-Night said smirking

"Do not worry if you succeed you would have saved the treasury more bits then you could ever use. But keep in mind that you are not to hurt any of my ponies."-Celestia answered with a bit of venom in her words.

After this the two were teleported to the throne room with Celestias magic. Once in the throne room the princess took her place on her throne and ordered Night to sit on the lowest stairs and merely observe without acting. Night seeing no benefit in arguing did as he was told. Once both were seated a guards pony spoke.

"Petition number 1 General Prince Blue Blood."-The guard said in a loud voice that echoed through the throne room.

Even before he had entered Blue Bloods voice could be herd.
"Auntie Celestia I demand that that horrendous monster princess Luna calls her servant and I be given a chance to publically humiliate it so that I can regain the honour it destroyed when it ....it cheated and fought using tactics unbecoming of the gentlecolts code of honour."-As Blue Blood finished saying this he opened his eyes to look at Celestia and noticed that very monster siting in front of him and staring with an unreadable expression. Blue Blood stepped back remembering the pain and the still healing wounds on his torso.

"Well prince Blue Blood I suppose since I find myself in the presence of the servant in question I should ask that he give a reason for his misconduct. Night Shadow what do you have to say in your defence?"- Celestia said with an even voice loving every second of this.

Night cleared his throat then took a deep breath and spoke.
"I did follow the rules specified as for this code of honour he spoke of it must be a most useless teaching if it prevents one from using the full extend of ones skill. If he still insists on a second fight I would suggest he speak with Luna as I have given her my word that I would not harm anyone without her permission. As one who has seen his skills I would suggest he brings others as his wielding of the sword could not even be considered that of a novice."

"How dare you.." Blue Blood began but was silenced by a stern look from Celestia.

"Well nephew you heard your options. I would personally suggest that you forget the matter ever happened as I would dread to see you hurt."-Celestia said in a calming voice.

"I could defeat him auntie I just need to use my magic. The entire test was set up by princess Luna to be in his favour."-Blue Blood said in his defence.

"I would not have you speak ill of my sister the test was set as it was to prove to Night and myself that the guard can protect my sister from danger. No magic was allowed because as allicorns my sister and I can fend off any magic except that of Discord and the elements. Leave and should you ever speak ill of your new princess know that I will not save you for her wrath."-Celestia was furious how dare Blue Blood speak ill of her sister. She was now in charge of him as he was a night guard. With these words Blue Blood ran away in a panic. It took Celestia a good minute to compose herself and tell a guard to send in the next pony.

"Petition number 2..."
