Chapter-24 Protecting ones intrest[Edited]

Josh Rovers awoke in the same hospital room that he had known for a few days. Everything was the same even the smell, just like always except for the fact that he felt loose restraints around his wrists.

{Could this have been the reason Luna was so insistent choosing that moment to tell me my name. So I would pass out from blood loss so that they could chain me up without resistance? Was our link severed then? If it is, she will without a doubt try to kill me. I know her schemes. It will be all the easier to convince Celestia now that the bond has been broken.

"Feeling better today?" Night heard a female voice say

{Is this a final prayer? If so then this must be the priestess. I'll need to wait until she's closer then I will teach these ponies why you always make the chains as short as possible.} Night thought as he heard the sound come closer, he had to wait until the pony was right next to his bed.

With one swift motion, Night sat up and grappled the pony

With his binds and trapped the poor unsuspecting pony in a head lock. The chain that was binding him was now choking the unfortunate pony. He eased up his grip but only enough so the pony could breath. He needed a hostage, not a corpse.

As the pony calmed down; Night decided to make her call for someone. He didn't wish to risk shouting himself as he remembered that each time he had shouted the windows broke after Luna's spell. And He couldn't deal with twenty royal guards in his current condition.

"Call for help," Bandage Aid heard Night Shadow say, as he looked at her with the intent to kill.

Only one thought raced through her mind, {Oh sweet Celestia I am going to die.} With that singular thought, Bandage Aid screamed.

"HELP!"

{Well she is not screaming for help, but the noise is sure to attract someone.} Night contemplated

a few seconds later, Celestia and Luna suddenly burst through the door.

{I guess this saves me the time of waiting for a servant to get them.}

"I want my freedom, once I am free I will let her go." Night said calmly while staring at Luna with a terrifying look.

{I might need her help to survive this, but I have not forgotten your betrayal.} Night thought

Luna's horn began to light up.

{So she would rather I die. Not surprising considering how much of her plan I know, but at least I shall not travel to the afterlife alone.} As Night thought this, he began to strangle Bandage Aid and much to his surprise the glow of Luna's horn stopped.

{Perhaps she truly cares for her subjects after all.}

Luna and Night stared at each other; neither daring to blink or move for fear that the other will make their move. Finally, an idea came to Luna's thoughts, and she spoke.

"Sister I have a plan, I think he is afraid that we want to kill him. I had only seen that look in his eyes when he attacked me during the challenge. I must prove to him that we are still bound, when I do, make sure to teleport the mare away from him."

{She is speaking gibberish again. Perhaps the spell wore off} Night thought as he watched Luna guardedly.

Luna slowly raised her right hoof, and proceeded to slam it with all her might into the edge of the doorframe. As she did Night extended his right arm as much as the chains would allow. The metal chains started to slice into his flesh and blood began to fall to the floor.

As this happened, Celestia used her magic to teleport Bandage Aid next to herself while Night and Luna screamed in agony. Once Celestia saw the wound on Nights arm, she used her magic to heal him but made sure to stay in her position not wanting to risk being attacked by Night. She had learned her lesson with the tennis racket. Once she was done with Nights injury, she redirected her attention to Luna and smirked before she spoke.

"Perhaps you should stay, and heal your hoof with a cast sister; it would give you the chance to share your feeling's with Night."

"The only reason I had to hurt my hoof was because you chained him. And besides that we already spoke of this, he has yet to acquire clothes, judging by his bare torso,” Luna replied irritated by her sister.

"Very well, but it's going to be hard to aid you if you keep rejecting my ideas sister," Celestia said pretending to be hurt as she healed Luna's hoof.

"Well, maybe if you were more subtle," Luna explained earning a playful glare from her sister.

During this conversation, Night had looked at the two alicorns speaking their beautiful gibberish. For the moment, he was glad that his life was certain once again, thanks to the bond. Once the two sisters were finished with their talk Luna turned to Night and her horn began to glow again.

"RELEASE ME FROM THESE CHAINS PLEASE." As Night asked to be released, he noticed that his voice sounded a little rougher than it usually did. He was surprised when both Celestia and Luna moved to free him, and he tried to back as far away from Celestia as possible, remembering the dream he had of her killing him. As soon as his chains were removed both Celestia's and Luna's horns lit up and he found himself gaged with some bed sheets from the other beds in the room.

"Do not speak and do not attempt to remove the gag or I shall bind your lips together with magic?" Luna said as Celestia gave her an amused look before Luna spoke again.

"The enhancement went wrong, your words will have power but because you are not controlling the magic consciously the effects are unpredictable, you could harm yourself or those around you. So keep the gag in and remove it only to eat until you can't understand us again. In the mean time, you should rest because once you get your clothes, I shall once again attempt to teach you writing." As Luna finished saying that both she and Night sighed in a tired manner making Celestia laugh.

Night attempted to remove the gag as he went to lie back down, but Luna's Magic stopped his hands.

"What do you think you are doing Night, You might speak in your dream or snore? You are sleeping with the gag and don't you dare make a sound." Celestia said in a commanding voice as she smirked.

Nights hands dropped to the bed as he remembered the horrific dream.
