Chapter-23 Pushing your luck[Edited]

My wounds are opened; I need someone to heal me before I bleed out!" Night shouted at Luna, who had fallen to sitting position.

"Luna, Luna oh no Guards..." Luna heard her sister scream frantically as she fell into unconsciousness.

As Luna came back into consciousness she felt her hooves restricted and in her panic she tried to use magic to free herself only for the spell to fizzle out. As she was attempting to get free, she was frozen in place by the voice of her sister.

"Luna I am so glad that you are finally awake, I was beginning to get worried, Sorry about the restraints, but I didn't want to risk you running away again without listening to my apology," Celestia said in an apologetic voice as Luna stared at her following her every movement.

"Release us at once thee has-" Luna began to say angrily, but Celestia interrupted.

"-SILENCE!"

"I know that you are angry with me for almost killing Night Shadow. but because of your brash actions both he and you almost died, not to mention that due to my injury the kingdom was forced to suffer three long days without night.

The weather teams are doing their best, but a lot of crops died just because you teleported away with Night when I could not move the celestial bodies. You will forgive me, so this doesn't happen again, or I will imprison Night and forbid you from visiting him." Celestia continued in a commanding voice.

{Oh no if my sister imprisons him. He might think I betrayed him and went on a killing spree. I must make sure my sister releases him immediately and hope that I can convince him that it was outside of my power.}

As Luna made a worried expression, she slowly spoke back." Sister, please release Night he has done nothing wrong. It was our actions that caused harm to our subjects both your's and mine. Or need I remind thee why thou were unable to move the celestial bodies?"

"I have yet to imprison him, sister, as he is still healing. So am I to take it that you won't forgive my action? You truly do love him, sister, I see that, but if he drives us apart I can't allow him to influence you any further. We must rule together and stay united or else chaos, and misery will fall upon the land. Please understand." Celestia said as she turned and began to walk out of the room.

"Wait, Tia, I will forgive you, but at the very least promise me, that you wouldn't do anything to Night he has suffered far too much because of me already. I realize that you did what you did to protect our ponies but when I heard that almost killed him..."- Luna said in a pleading somber tone as she dropped her gaze.

"Very well, sister, we shall let Night be free in our lands. I shall even give him the bits I promised but should he harm our subjects, without just cause we shall not hesitate to take action. As such I believe it would be for the best if you focus on making sure that doesn't happen. Luna worry not I will make sure to keep the peace of the land during this time." Celestia said in a stern voice before nuzzling her sister's chained body before continuing

" I honestly didn't want to force matters like this sister, but I had to make sure that nothing bad happens to our subjects. If it's any consolation, I will completely support you in your affections for Night so long as you can keep him in check." Celestia said playfully as her horn lit up, and Luna was released from her binding and a ring she hadn't seen was removed from her horn.

"Sister I couldn't, he might even be angrier with me now that he almost died because of me again. when I thought he only did as I said because of fear," Luna said blushingly as she looked at the ground.

"I did say I would support you, what if I cast a love spell," Celestia stated in a joyful tone while a smirk adorned her face.

"Sister you wouldn't, you couldn't, please promise me you won't do that," Luna said frantically.

"Very well I promise I wouldn't but my offer to aid you still stands Luna. I sincerely wish to see you happy and while I may not understand your taste in stallions if he makes you happy I can accept it." Celestia said in a motherly voice.

"Thank you, sister, I truly do not wish him to accept my feelings merely because of a spell," Luna said unable to look her sister in the eye

"For him to accept them, you should first tell him Luna, or would you prefer I do it for you," Celestia teased. She truly enjoyed seeing her sister blush as it was not a sight she often saw before Luna's banishment.

"No! We shall tell him, but we need time, at the very least we wish him to have clothes, so we are not um... distracted." Luna said in a fast voice almost completely stopping at the end of the sentence as her face turned a purple color.

"Are you certain you don't want me to cast a love spell sister? He has no way of defending against it." Celestia said expecting another blush from her sister but was greeted with a serious expression.

"I am, and that may not be the case for much longer sister,"- Luna said with a deadpan expression upon her face.

"What do you mean, Night has no horn nor has he demonstrated any resilience to magic so far?" Celestia asked worriedly looking at her sister.

"He comes from a realm without magic as such. I believe that his body might not hold magic the same way an earth ponies would," Luna said calmly.

"But if that is true then he is even more dangerous," Celestia began going on a tangent.

"I know sister which is why I intend to teach him to channel magic once my power restores itself. That should give him enough time for his wounds to heal." Luna said confidently.

"Sister you must visit him if you wish to convey your feelings. I know, how about you take on his studies of Equish as I am certain he might not appreciate my presence after what I did." Celestia said sheepishly.

"Oh, that reminds me, sister, you did remember the enhancements I placed on him right? I shutter to think what he would do if he awakens and some pony approached him speaking gibberish." Luna said hopefully, but her face turned to that of woe as she saw her sister's expression.

Very soon, the two sisters received their answer they heard a gut wrenching scream from a pony

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!" the two sisters raced to the hospital room where Night was being treated.
