Chapter-54 Advice[Edited]

After Pinkie's abrupt departure Celestia acted as a negotiator putting the 1000 years of having to put up with politics to good use and convinced Discord to stop constantly altering his surroundings. Discord was reluctant to accept the terms at first but Celestia managed to convince him that if he does it will be more interesting for him to observe his interests. After that all four decided that the endeavours were too much and Luna brought night to the land so they could rest and think over everything that had happened. Discord surprisingly said that he already had a place to sleep and disappeared with a snap of his paw.

"Wake up bestie or I am going to make the bed bugs bite." Discord said playfully as he made nights bed sheets turn into bugs and scater. Night turned around attempting to ignore the annoyance that had woken him whille it was still night out.

"Go away. You made it so I could move and I protected you from being turned to stone. Freedom for freedom. Now leave, I don't wish to kill the one who freed me." Night said trough a yawn..

"Oh come now bestie I need your help. The sooner you tell me what I want the sooner you can have your bed back." Discord said as the two appeared on a sandy beech. "I just really need to know how you made Luna fall in love with you. Tell me that and I will let you get back to sleeping." Night slowly got up sand falling from him and sticking to his back.

"Die then." Night said as he swung a small dagger he had crafted and always had with him. (The edge was a small straight short dagger with a hole going trough the middle of the blade large enough to put guards a sword 's edge in. The hilt had a fixed small metal circle.)

"Sand coffin" Discord said as he stretched his dragon paw towards Night and the human was held in place by the sand unable to move. "I just wanted someone to stay besides me." Discord said as music began playing around them. "Please you are the closest friend I have tell me how you made Luna fall in love with you." Discord said as a single tear fell down his cheeks but was quickly washed away by chocolate milk rain.

"Luna doesn't love me she merely uses me like a tool. And I allowed it because I couldn't leave her sight." Night said as he turned slightly crimson but his face expressed great sadness.

"What? No you love each other its so obvious. So tell me how you did it and I will free you." Discord said smiling.

"I think I'll just free myself after all you are just going to do this again if I don't know how to free myself." Night said as he smiled and Discord looked angry

"YOU WILL TELL ME." Discord said as the sky turned pitch black and Lightning struck the sand around Night's feet making him feel a bit of numbness but also making the sand move. The music changed.

"I-I-I-I WILL NOT." Night screamed back shocking Discord as he broke free of the sand and hit Discord with his dagger in the heart. Discord disappeared in a puff of smoke and a tree log was left in his place making Night fall forward by the unexpected weight.

"Ok how about this? I will give you power if you tell me what I want." Discord said as he wrapped himself around Night's struggling body. The music changing yet again.

Night tried again and again to break free of Discord's grasp but eventually he calmed down and spoke still a bit of spite in his voice.

"I-I don't know. I could tell you why I stand by her side but I don't know why she cares for me. And even if you knew unless you wanted to make Luna fall in love with you it will be pointless, everyone is different Discord." As Night spoke the music changed once more.

"I-I see." Discord said hesitantly as the music ended he became loose around Night and fell to the sand around him seeming to lose all will for life.

"So now that you know send me back to my room." Night said trying to use this moment of weakness in Discord.

"Sur-" Discord began but then stopped and perked up a light bulb blinking on top of his head. "Wait old buddy old pall you can help me win her love." Discord said smirking as a black moustache appeared on his face.

"I am not helping you Discord. You keep using your magic on me." Night said in a cold voice staring at Discord. "Now send me back." Night screamed at Discord.

Discord was a bit shocked but regained his senses quickly as a white box with a red cross fell on him and was absorbed into his body.

"Ok so you'll help me if I stopped using magic on you, right buddy? I just need you to put in a good word for me with Celestia since she tolerates you." Discord said hopeful.

"I am not your buddy Discord and you will stop using your magic or I will kill you with or without Luna's permission." Night said as he pressed the tip of his dagger to Discords neck.

"I see that it was a mistake to try and reason with you. Fine you can go back I will speak with Luna." Discord said in a slick voice as he prepared to snap his fingers.

"DON'T YOU DARE GO NEAR HER." Night shouted as he lunged into Discord but as his blade reached its target it didn't feel any resistance and Night went trough Discord almost falling to the ground. As he turned he was staring into Discord's eyes.

"I won't use magic on you but if you want to make me stay away from Luna you are going to help me "buddy"." Discord said coldly.

"O-Ok I will attempt it but actions always speak louder then words and your actions make others want to hate you." Night said hesitantly,

"My actions? Whatever do you mean? I am always bringing joy and life to this boring world." Discord asked confused.

"Some things need to be boring in order for the interesting things to stand out." Night said calmer.

"You know you are a lot smarter when your not trying to kill me. Regardless our attempts start tomorrow, go and sleep." Discord said and snapped his fingers teleporting Night back to his room.

{Stand out by making everything else boring. Yes that can work} Discord thought as he moved a two puppets on strings of himself and Celestia.
